Optimus rushed towards the source of the screams. There he found three young fillies, which confused him to no end. He didn't have time to question it now. He had to save them.

"Hide in there." Optimus said gently. "Do not come out until I tell you to. I will chase them off. Now go!"

The three fillies did as he instructed. Optimus pulled out his blaster and came face to face with four Timberwolves that seemed to be made out of wood and stood as tall as he did, again he didn't question it. He aimed his blaster upwards and fires several shots that scared them, causing them to scramble and retreat.

"Thank ya mister!" said one of the fillies.

"That was awesome!" said the second.

"Can you take us home?" asked the third.

"Where do you live?" Optimus asked. "It's not safe out here."

"Ponyville. Just back down the forest. Can you get us there? We're too tired to walk. Can you help us?"

Instead of responding, Optimus got down on the ground and turned into a truck. The three fillies clambered into Optimus' cabin as he made his way back. He was then greeted by the main six and the rest of Ponyville who then thanked him profusely for saving the three fillies by throwing him a welcome to Equestria party. Courtesy of the Pink One. Princess Twilight Sparkle was generous enough to allow him to stay near her castle inside of the small town. He resided in the main hallways where he was able to fit. For the first time in eons, he fell into the embrace of Morpheus.

I know I said the princesses become aware of his presence by this chapter... next chapter he will eventually meet them.
