Star Study and Fluttershy's relationship
It was a bright and beautiful day in Ponyville, as there were only a few clouds in sight. While the town was bustling, there lay a quiet little cottage just on the outskirts next to the Everfree Forest and out of all that activity in the town. The yellow pegasus mare living there liked peace and tranquility as she cared for her animal friends. While she had few friends other than the animals she cared for, there was one pony she loved. A grey unicorn stallion with what appeared to be a book for his Cutie-Mark approached the door to the cottage and knocked.
“Fluttershy, are you home? I want to take you on that birthday date I promised.” The unicorn asked while knocking.
A bunch of animal noises was heard along with the sound of hoofsteps coming to the door. Opening the door stood the gorgeous Fluttershy who wore an unbelievable evergreen dress and flowers in her pink mane.
“Yes, sorry Star Study I was feeding the animals. Also, why do you have your saddlebags with you?”
“Ok, and why? Well, they are for later, so do you mind if I leave them at your house for our date?”
“Sure, go ahead.” She answered with a puzzled look on her face.
He put the saddlebags on the kitchen table and exited the cottage. “Ok, the first stop is the theater. Yes, I know it’s cheesy, but I could not think of something better with such a short time.” Star said the last thing with what looked like a façade on his face, almost like he had more planned.
“No, that’s fine. I like movies.”
At the movie theater, which looked like a normal cinema building but smaller only played six movies. Star and Fluttershy wondered what movie to see.
“Oh sweet, they are playing ‘Pony Python and the Holy Goblet’ here. I love that movie.” Star said excitedly.
“You sure like your old movies.” She said snickering.
“It is not that many moons old. Just a few dozen before I was born. So, what do you want to watch then?”
“I want to see ‘The Three Bozo’s Movie’ as I hear it is good.”
“Ok. Sir, can I get two tickets to ‘The Three Bozo’s Movie’ please?”
The two of them held hoofs and laughed together for the duration of the film. Coming out of the theater Star Study gave a peck on the lips to Fluttershy.
“W-w-w-why did you do that?” Fluttershy blushed hard and was caught off guard.
“Because you are cute and it is time for the next stop. It is time now to go to ‘The Cream of the Crop” to dine.”
“I thought you said you had no time?!” She said shocked.
“I lied to surprise you. The movie was the last minute plan to lower your expectations.” Star smiled.
The dining service ‘The Cream of the Crop’ was a high-end luxury restaurant that had a reservation list of four months.
Reaching “The Cream of the Crop” by evening the two of them trotted in and was greeted by a very intricate and elaborately decorated dining area. The chandeliers just screamed expensive and fragile, but the decor really gave the place the feeling of being in luxury. There was no table that can be seen that was not already taken by two other ponies but one table. Said table was small with two chairs and was seated next to the window.
“Greetings, I have a reservation here by the name of Star Study.”
“Oh, yes. We have you right here, so follow me.” The waiter directed.
After the two took a seat at the table, the waiter levitated two menus to the couple. “Now, just let me know when you two are ready to order your meal. In the meantime, what kind of wine or champagne will two like?”
“No alcohol please, but we will take sparkling water. Grape flavored to substitute for wine.” Star Study interjected.
“Right away, good sir.” The waiter bowed before walking away.
“Star! Can you even afford to be bringing me here?!” Fluttershy said in a hushed yell.
“I will only provide you with the best, for tonight is your night, not mine, so pick whatever you want on the menu. I want you to have the best night ever. Have you decided what you want to eat?” He smiled.
“Yes, skinny noodle spaghetti.” She said after blushing for a bit.
The waiter came back with the sparkling water and two wine glasses. “Have you two decided what to order or shall I come back another time?”
“Yes, we have decided on what to order. I would like the creamy mushroom and lemon risotto with a side of roasted carrots with orange, and she will have skinny noodle spaghetti with breadsticks on the side.”
“I will inform the chef and bring you two your orders when they are prepared.” He bowed took their menus and left.
Star levitated his glass over to Fluttershy. “Happy Birthday, Fluttershy! How old are you today?”
“A lady never reveals her age.” She said toasting.
“Fair enough, but I will say you do look gorgeous today. Your eyes sparkle like this water.” He said before taking a sip of the water.
“You are going to embarrass me.”
“I love to see you blush, almost as much as I love it when you smile. When you smile and look me in the eyes, I know you are happy, which makes me happy. I enjoy looking at your face as it is so pretty, and I just want to be close to it, which means being even closer to you.” He gushes over Fluttershy.
“Stop it…it is too much.” She says blushing bright red.
“Fluttershy, I love sweet talking you, as I know you love it too. I could compliment you so much all the sugar in Sugar Cube Corner would pale in comparison to all the sweet talking I can do for you.”
“Star, I love you.”
“I love you too, Fluttershy.”
The two spend some time talking and after a while, the food appeared. They eat and Star Study paid the bill.
“Fluttershy…” He got up off his chair and went over to Fluttershy. “I do not know how to tell you I love you more than what I currently can, but I think now with the sky turned pink because of the setting sun and this fancy dinner I have the guts to ask you…” Star Study knelt and levitated a small box from under the table and opened it. “Fluttershy, will you marry me?” Star Study showed the ring to Fluttershy sitting in her chair.
"YES!" she said crying like all of the water in her body needed to leave from her eyes.
She hugged him and they returned back to her cottage for the night.
Star Study and Fluttershy's relationship
In front of Fluttershy's cottage at noon, the wedding ceremony was all set up. The area looked both elaborately decorated and not at the same time, due to nature aesthetic and the animals building everything. Flowers and small animals could be seen everywhere in the vicinity of the ceremony. It looked as though this was made for Sleeping Beauty's wedding. Fluttershy's brother, her animal friends and pony friends, Star Study's brother and his friends where all present for the big event. Everypony is here to see the two on their big day.
In the cottage Fluttershy was getting ready with her female animal friends helping along with the other Mane 6, Angel guarded the door outside. Fluttershy's heart was beating so fast she thought it would burst from her chest.
"Fluttershy, you need to calm down or you might pass out breathing in and out that fast." Twilight informed her.
"Look, darling, whatever it is that has you all nervous is nothing to be nervous about. You look gorgeous in that dress, so be confident."
"Instead of being nervous think about what kind of sex you two will have on the honeymoon." Pinkie Pie blurted out.
"Pinkie!!!" The girls said collectively.
"Chirp chirp chirp... chirp chirp." A little birdie told her.
"I know I need to calm down, but I can't this is way too much pressure on me! I feel like the day after we first did it and I had a hangover! I hated him at the time and thinking about it still gives me chills!"
"But, was that not the best mistake y'all made? Ya cheated, but it led to Star. Now, this here is not a mistake, this was a decision and a good one at that."
"Ok, you are right. This is going to be one decision I will never regret making. Rainbow Dash, can you get my flower crown?"
"Ok, but I am not getting too involved in this girly stuff." Rainbow Dash stated.
"You look drop dead beautiful darling, now for Rainbow Dash to find the crown."
"Uh, yeah sorry I couldn't find it." Rainbow Dash apologized.
"What do you mean you can't find it! It is the vanity drawer to prevent it from being crushed. You did not look hard enough." Twilight used her locate item spell and a bit peeved scolded Rainbow Dash.
"You had to use a spell, so you cheated." Rainbow Dash retorted.
"Y'all need ta stop fight'n on Fluttershy's here big day."
"You girls are the best." Fluttershy giggled.
Beary the bear and Spike passed out the programs and Zinnias to the guests. The guests started taking their seats on the chairs carved by the animals. They chatted away while looking at the program. The bridesmaids and groomsmen walked down the aisle and line up in front of the seats. The guests all whispered about how lovely the scene was and how affectionate the two are of each other.
Star Study was sharply dressed and was standing and waiting for his bride both nervous and excited to see how she will look. His best man and Star Study's brother Joystick is trying to calm him down by telling him funny videos and pictures he found.
Mayor Mare came out and stood. "Everypony please rise for the bride."
Everypony is excited to see how pretty Fluttershy will look. Angel came out bearing the horseshoes, a buck with a basket of flowers hung from each antler while songbirds threw the flowers out of the baskets, and small baby bunnies ran down the aisle with bows and ribbons on them. Behind them was Fluttershy, the bride and the one everyone waited to see.
"Well... here we go." She gulped and whispered to herself.
Fluttershy walks in while the wedding song plays. Everypony stood to look at her, ponies swayed back and forth to see between others heads to caught glimpses and see her come out.
Fluttershy is wearing the most stunning of dresses. She is done up in the most environment inspired of ways. She is wearing a white dress with green trim with brown accent. Her mane is done in a folk waterfall braid (refer to the cover art) and she has a very gorgeous flower crown accentuating her grace and charms. Her face had very little makeup on it as it would only block her natural charm. She looks like a princess of the forest and to say she looks good would have been an understatement. Star Study's legs wobbled as he leaned against Joystick to prevent him from falling over from the sight of his beautiful mare-to-be. He just stared in awestruck at this gorgeous filly that would soon be his own mare.
Fluttershy took a few steps before Zephyr Breeze took his sister's hoof and led her down the aisle. It was a good thing too as Fluttershy was feeling weak and blushing hard from all the eyes looking at her even if they were all her friends. She felt like falling over much like the Star Study, but Zephyr Breeze kept her up and going. Fluttershy looked down the aisle and it seemed to grow longer and longer as her heart raced. She even counted the steps in the rehearsal but got so nervous during the actual she kept losing count making her think it was taking a long time. The trot over was done and she stood in front of her Stallion-to-be.
"You are my little sister I am so proud of, so continue to do so for me." Zephyr Breeze hugged Fluttershy and gave her hoof to Star Study and told him "Show my sister the love you have been giving her." He then hugged Star Study before he backed away.
The two of them were alone together it feels to them as the whole world fazed out of their minds as they looked each other in the eyes. To the two of them, few things mattered to them more other than each other. Mayor Mare coughed then smiled hinting they needed to focus and step forward together and told everypony to take their seats while the two were lost in each others eyes.
The two approached Mayor Mare. “Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness this Stallion and Mare join together in Univeral Harmony.” She announced.
Guests take pictures and record this moment in particular.
"Do you, Star Study, take Fluttershy, to be your Mare, your constant friend, your faithful partner and your love from this day forward? In the presence of your family and friends, do you offer her your solemn vow to be her faithful partner in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow? Do you promise to love her unconditionally, to support her in her goals, to honor and respect her, to laugh with her and cry with her, and to cherish her for as long as you both shall live?"
"I do."
"Do you, Fluttershy, take Star Study, to be your Stallion, your constant friend, your faithful partner and your love from this day forward? In the presence of your family and friends, do you offer him your solemn vow to be his faithful partner in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow? Do you promise to love him unconditionally, to support him in his goals, to honor and respect him, to laugh with him and cry with him, and to cherish him for as long as you both shall live?”
“I do.”
Angel came with the horseshoes. Star Study took one and put it on Fluttershy's left hoof. Fluttershy did the same with Star Study's left hoof.
"If anypony objects to the marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace." Mayor Mare said.
Everypony looked around and there was silence.
"With the power invested in me by the land of Equestria I now pronounce you Stallion and Mare. You may now kiss the bride."
Star Study kissed Fluttershy as she had never been kissed before, that is as a married couple. As they swapped spit, the guests cheered and stomped but they could not be heard by the two as they were lost in each other's lips.
The newlywed couple went and collected the Zinnias together. Zinnias were the first flowers to bloom in space. They represent both natures’ beauty: Fluttershy, and the knowledge obtained from space: Star Study. As the two gathered they each held a bunch of Zinnias, but the two brought them together representing the one entity they are now. They had a bouquet of Zinnias, which Fluttershy took and tossed behind her.
After the wedding everypony eat, but there was one task left for them to do to finalize the marriage. Star Study lifted Fluttershy off of the ground with his magic and walked with her still levitated back to her cottage. He opened the door and brought her over the threshold and to the bedroom. He set her on the bed and now all that was left was to consummate the marriage.
