This went on for eight straight days, as Luna basked in the suns bright rays. Celestia frequently came and sat, wondering where her sister's mind was at. But Luna wouldn’t speak or mumble a word, every day ponies past and muttered “how absurd” Her eyes stayed closed and her head stayed hung, her beautiful mane sat wet but not wrung. Then finally one fateful night, Celestia thought she didn’t hear right. Her sister was calling her name, but when Celestia got there not much looked the same There where her sisters wings sat, seemed to be those of a bat. her mane and tail, oh what a sight. they had beautiful stars like those in the night. she had turned tall as Celestia herself, and her head held high like she would not put her pride on a shelf. Luna simply looked up and said with a smile “sister you haven’t had a vacation in a while” “What do you mean?” Celestia asked. Her sister’s true meaning was casually masked. “I mean would you like to leave for a while, you don’t have to go far, not even a mile. I’ll take over our duties for the time your away, and when you come back we can all laugh and play.” But still Celestia wasn’t convinced. None of her sister was making sense. She argued back and forth in her head, how did she know? is it something I said? Celestia had wanted one for quite a while, but to leave her work was such rile. But a vacation like always did sound good. But to avoid paparazzi she would need a hood… “Okay my dear sister, I’ll let you take the job.” Then Celestia left to not even a sob. Just a maniacal laugh was heard. Luna stretched her wings and flew up like a bird. It was not even half past twelve, but the moon was raised and darkness delved. stars came out as darkness rose, and all the little ponies looked up and froze. Luna let power rush to her head and soon she changed to evil instead. “NIGHT WILL LAST FOREVER!!!” the evil hag cried. But Celestia would see this option denied. She appeared in front of Lune with a bright flash. She faced her sister and spread her wings as quick as rainbow dash. “YOU WILL NOT DEFEAT ME, LISTEN TO ME NOW. “ “But Luna why would you do this? How tell me how?” But the princess wouldn’t answer with words, just another laugh. But it cut short as there was light spread around her like a bath. Celestia hated herself, how could she not? she was sending her own flesh blood sister up to the moon to rot. “YOU CANNOT DO THIS SISTER, I CONTROLL THE NIGHT. I’LL BE BACK BEFORE YOU KNOW IT AND THERE WILL REALLY BE A FIGHT!!!” And then she was gone. Poor Luna. Forced up to the moon. But Celestia thought her sister was right. The coming would always be too soon. Sorry I'm not the best rhymer. Bonus chapter: Tia's dreamI love cake, I love pie, In gumdrop rain I wish I could fly, Swedish fish, oh what a treat! They would be perfect if them I could eat, Sugar I want coated on everything, Lollipops, gummy worms and a candy ring, Little gummy suns, made in my name They taste all different even with looks all the same, Chocolate on everything, cakes and fruit, White chocolate is heaven when you’re stuck in your suit, The milk chocolate is a more casual sort, But the dark is what raises the spirits under fort, Oh what a dream, to live in the land, Where the ground is made with pixy sticks for sand, Licorice galore and candy canes to, And don’t forget all the critters with M&M's as poo, Oh if I could smash every food in one, then top it with syrupy love, What a beautiful sight and a taste like one, for those who would eat a dove, Cake may be a lie, but only for some, For I and eat is any time as one, And in my dreams I walk far and wide, Towards candy mountain with unicorns at my side, The only time wish I where awake, Is when Luna comes into my dreams and steals all my cake! Luna looked up, looked up at the moon, and sighed deeply to answer so soon. she thought of the many words in her head and answered her face turning a deep shade of red. "I took a journey through my own mind. I let her ensnare me at about that time. She sang me a song, so lovely and smooth. she told me with power all the wounds I could sooth. She lied to me sister. It healed not one. It just made more with all said and done. But it was lonely up there. It gave me more time to know. It let me know what way I should go. When I told the monster this, she screamed out in rage, she was going to steal the stage. And for a thousand years I fought the ghoul. I fought the monster for my very own soul. When I came back with all said and done, not one of my scars was healed, not one." She was embarrassed by what she had done, but Tia didn't care and still thought her number one. And the sisters hugged one another in an embrace, but Celestia asked again just encase. "So is that creature now out of your head? I would not want it in me by what you said." Luna just looked up and gave a smile. Something she had not done in a while. Celestia remembered the quote from a friend. she used her own words to put in a blend. "The moon must raise and the sun must set. just like our lives are not over yet. There is still time to forgive and forget, all these people you have just met. Nopony may be here from a thousand years, but sister you must not shed them tears." And like sisters do they did the best, they lay their heads together to take a rest. I know this is short and not the best. I was just at a standstill for my other stories for the moment and needed to make something. Thank you!!!
