In the world of Saphinx there lies four continents, Equestria, the home of races ranging from breezies to dragons; Zilos, the home of all demi-humans; Cammer, the home of humans; Matak, a mysterious continent that rose from the depths of the oceans, now in modern times it's a melting pot for the races of Saphinx with the capital city being called well...Capital.

Sam Sparks, a boy who originally didn't have magic until one day when he was six he unknowingly made a pact with a sentient being called a raven mocker who goes by the name Midnight, years later he gains magic abilities from protecting his adopted sister and is given a scholarship from the prestigious Star-pillar University, the best college for magic users which just so happens to be located in Capital city.

One day while Sam is in class they get a new transfer student which just so happens to be one that Sam recognized. However all is not what it seems when it comes to this new student as her nefarious ambitions of wanting to be immortal soon themself.
