Cozy Glow has been defeated by the Young Six with the Magic of Friendship, effectively foiling her attempt to conquer Equestria and gain all of the magic for herself. Sombra tried to do the same thing by destroying the Elements of Harmony, only to be foiled once and for all by Twilight and her friends.

Unbeknownst to them, Cozy Glow, Tirek, Sombra and Chrysalis have been aided by a legendary villain called Grogar in order to defeat Twilight and the others. However, Cozy Glow have come up with a plan of her own in order to secure their victory, and that is to get rid of both the Mane and Young Six from existence using a strange amulet.

Little did she know that the amulet would cause attention in the other side...
