Princess Luna is ready to take control of the night. The sun, however, hasn't moved in hours. In her growing state of panic and worry she inadvertently releases an old foe, who proceeds to trap the young Princess and her sister within the castle and leaves the Elements of Harmony with them.

Can Twilight Sparkle and the others save Equestria without the Elements, or is there no end in sight for Discord, God of Chaos and Disharmony?
