Okay... so, yeah. I'm a bit of a sell-out. So sue me. But this started off as a joke between me and a friend, and eventually, it became too good not to ignore. Trying to go for sensual, and erotic really. Not out and out porn for the sake of porn.
...To Make a Thing go Right
Thorax downed his glass as he walked into the mass chaos that was the Inter-Creature Continuity Cavalcade. At least, that’s what he thought the name of it all was. To be honest, Thorax would have really rather not have been here.
Big crowds made him nervous, to be frank. It was a bitter irony, really given what kind of creature he was, and how social changelings were as a whole.
Thorax downed his drink again, wishing he could actually get drunk. But that was an odd feature of changeling biology really. About the only things one of them could actually get completely blitzed off of really was another creature’s emotions. Other creatures were probably so envious.
Thorax envied them right now, as if he were so drunk he might not have been as much of a nervous wreck as he was right now.
“Okay Thorax,” the King thought to himself. “It’s just another conference filled with delegates from every other nation imaginable, nothing to be worried about. Nope, not in the slightest!”
The lime green changeling looked over, to see his brother conversing with Princess Ember over… something. Those two made such a good couple, really. Yes, he was quite well aware that he and Ember made good friends, but for Thorax? Ember was just that little bit too intimidating to even think of as a prospective mate.
He was well aware of the subject of their conversation, really. Apparently, some changeling scouts had seen some rather worrying things near Kludgetown. Creature trafficking, it had always been a possibility on their minds considering Princess Twilight had mentioned unicorn horns had shown up in the marketplace.
Needless to say, sometime after that the entire town had been raided and every smuggler either sent packing or arrested. But as every hive of scum and villainy was ought to do, it refurbished itself. If Thorax were a more cynical type, he would have considered leaving the place well enough alone as trying to put a stop to seedy deals in Kludgetown was like trying to stop up a dam with your fingers. You plugged one hole yes, but for every one that you patched up another two or three appeared.
It was hard work to say the least. It gave him a headache just even trying to think about it. He flashed back to how this had all started.
“An inter-creature continuity… Cavalcade?” Thorax stammered out. “Bit of a mouthful really.”
“I’d have to agree with Thorax, as honey?” Queen Novo said as she looked towards Twilight. “If you’re ever going to have anyone take you seriously as a ruler, you need to stop creating such long-winded names.”
“I just thought it fit,” Twilight replied. “Considering really, that’s what all of this is. I mean, it’s a summat of creatures from every side of the planet. Griffons, yaks, hippogriffs, changelings, you name it. I especially consider this important in light of the School’s opening.”
“Okay, that I get,” Starlight said. Thorax had always liked her, she seemed to be the one with her head on straight whenever her teacher was freaking out about something or another. She was a calming presence in the middle of a maelstrom if one could forgive him for being poetic about it. “After Neighsay had his… well, say, things sorta got out of control.”
“Agreed,” Thorax admitted. “That one pony, whatever good intentions he may or may not have had really almost led us to war. I don’t want to see that happening ever again, understand? We need to be enlightened about the other, and while the school may be teaching the next generation we ourselves need to learn more about the others.”
“Spoken like a true leader!” Novo said. “Honey, you sure you’re still new at this?”
“Well… well, I’ve only been at this for two years so…” Thorax stammered out.
“So you’re still green, no pun intended!” Novo laughed. “Be that as it may, you’re absolutely right. My ponish is still rather rusty, and given how long I’ve been under the waves it feels like en eternity has passed! Why, can you imagine my surprise when it turned out the Mare in the Moon was actually REAL?”
Everyone was polite enough not to bring up Novo’s real reaction to when she had learned of Nightmare Moon having had been a real pony at one point. It had actually been sorta hilarious, in a way. Seeing the great Queen Novo, Ruler of the Seas and Tides being reduced to a quivering wreck and shouting: “Begone foul beast!” to a very confused Princess Luna Eventide.
While Thorax certainly hadn’t seen it for himself; he’d heard about it from Starlight and had been sent a memory crystal of the event. He’d had to seclude himself in his chambers to stop himself from laughing in public. That would not do good for the interspecies relations at all really, especially as he was hosting a delegation of hippogriffs in the hive’s main chamber.
He’d actually been exchanging letters with Starlight in his off time, figuring the mare that Spike looked up to as a sort of older sister had to be worth talking to. He wasn’t wrong, as he had rapidly found out she was quite the character. She was a plain-speaking mare and wasn’t afraid to slap him upside the head -metaphorically anyways- if he was being stupid. Starlight actually reminded him of his brother in that regard. She was only just a bit less of a grouch really.
He sighed, his brother could really do with a friend at times. Maybe it was just pony sentimentalism talking, but he suspected deep inside Pharynx was actually very lonely. Even if he wouldn’t admit it. He was far too prideful to even think of doing that.
“...I think it sorta surprised all of us, to be honest…” Starlight said. “Still, I get what you’re trying to say. Cultures have changed in the past 30 or so odd years. Tartarus, they’ve changed a lot in the past fifty!”
“Rutherford is still surprised it is no longer socially acceptable to smash things whenever a yak likes.” the leader of the Yaks remarked.
Thorax leaned over to Starlight and whispered: “I don’t think it was ever socially acceptable, actually…” and she had to stifle a snort as she shared a grin with him.
The usual dullness of one of these regular meetings had been lightened up by her presence, actually. While it wasn’t proper royal behavior to snark at your fellows it certainly lightened up the mood. It eased the nerves, really. During his first year, Thorax had been so socially awkward that he got what Starlight had termed ‘the jitterbugs’ whenever he had been called into a meeting with another race. That’s why, whenever she could, she stepped inside the meetings with him. If Twilight knew the reason, she never said a word about it.
“And I apparently have still a lot to learn, really, regarding certain pony social customs,” Ember admitted begrudgingly. “Like it is no longer allowed for a dragoness to walk into town completely nude and eat crystals off of walls.”
“Yeah… Uh…” Twilight blushed a bright red as Novo and Rutherford did almost comical spit-takes in unison. Thorax tried to hide behind his section of the table in memory of the event, blushing as well. Perhaps even more so than Twilight herself if that were possible. “We… we uh really, do sorta frown on that sorta thing, yeah…”
Of course, unlike Twilight, he had actually been there to see it all. And truth be told, he’d actually seen more than he had ever wanted to really.
That had been a day, Thorax mused to himself. He’d gotten a full frontal of Ember and really had been left tongue-tied around her for the rest of the month. Pharynx had been… well, less than sympathetic really. He’d been laughing for the next two and a half days about how his brother was far too easily embarrassed. Clearly the changeling had never seen Ember THAT up close and personal.
Or maybe he’d seen it, or at the very least something similar, given how… open he really was. Thorax didn’t know how he did it, but his brother was something of a womanizer. It had to be the muscles and the fact that he was technically a guard in service to his brother the King. But it was mostly the muscles. Because what else could it have been? Thorax loved his brother, but his personality at times left a bit to be desired.
He still remembered the days when Pharynx intimidated passing travelers, and almost frisked them at times. Actually, come to think of it, he really hadn’t grown out of that. Pharynx was just that little bit too paranoid for his own good at times, really.
“So, all in agreement?” Twilight asked. “Say aye, or neigh if you disagree.”
She giggled in spite of herself at her own horrible pun -Thorax noticed ponies had a lot of those really- before answering with an: “Aye!”
“Aye!” everyone answered in unison.
That was then, and this was now of course. And here he was trying very hard not to have a nervous breakdown in front of everyone. It was unbecoming, of course. But he’d never been this close to this many different creatures before. Some, of course, which had fangs and claws and other dangerous things.
Enough was enough, he decided. He wasn’t needed right now, and it was pretty clear Pharynx could take care of the representative duties for the Changeling Kingdom.
“Hey, where are you going off to in such a hurry?” Pharynx asked catching a glimpse of his brother’s robes. They were hard to miss really, and Thorax cursed himself for making them so brightly visible. At the time, it had seemed to be a good idea to make him match the virtual kaleidoscope of greens and purples that was his own chitlin. “The party’s only just begun!”
“...Forgive me if I consider your ideal of a party a bit different from my own, really,” Thorax sighed.
“Oh, I see,” Pharynx said his voice turning low. “It’s being around Ember that’s got you all nervous right? All hot and flustered?”
“Well…. Yes, er… no!” Thorax stammered out before cursing himself. “Alright, you got me. It’s Ember.”
“And here I didn’t think you had feelings for her,” Pharynx grinned toothily, his eyes sparkling. “Guess I was wrong. ...Damn, that means Stratus owes me twenty bits and a box office ticket to the next Canterlot Symphony Orchestra show. Too bad… for him.”
“Well, I wouldn’t exactly consider them… feelings, per se,” Thorax replied.
“Your comment about seeing her in the nude that one day says otherwise!” Pharynx laughed.
“Well, to be fair, you’d have reacted much in the same way!” Thorax hissed at him. “But she’s really… well, she’s fiery yeah, and could keep me in line but she’s just too fiery actually.”
“You worried about getting burned during a mating session?” Pharynx asked. “I do hear that there are herbs to avoid such a thing… Granted, your clothes would have to be replaced but I’d have suspected Ember would have torn them away long ago!”
“It’s not that, brother dear!” Thorax replied. “She’s just too… well, a bit too fierce for me. You would be a better fit. I’d need someone who’s my own speed really.”
“I see your point,” Pharynx conceded. “To be honest, yeah, I can’t see you with her. At least as you are now. You’ve grown quite a spine since you became King, but you’re still… oh, what’s Rarity call it? Oh yes, a hot mess at times.”
“I didn’t even know you talked to Rarity,” Thorax asked. “Well, this is very interesting information. May perhaps I see wedding bells on the horizon? A Princess for the Prince?”
“She color coordinates for me,” Pharynx said gruffly not really wanting to get into the subject with his brother. “Do you know how hard it is to find something that… well, matches all of this?” he asked gesturing to his forest green exterior.
Thorax laughed before taking his leave and letting out a sigh of relief as he did so.. It was much more refreshing, to feel the cool evening air across his chitlin. It was much more relaxing when he was away from the hustle and bustle of the party.
He took a stroll through the gardens outside of the School, finding himself resting on the fountain in the center of the yard. Behind him, he could hear the gentle trickling of the waters. Absentmindedly, he ran his fingers through the waters feeling the bits in the bottom of the pool. Ponies apparently had a custom, upon tossing a bit into a fountain made one wish come true. He didn’t believe it, but apparently a lot of others did.
He wasn’t quite sure why, but he reached into his robes and flipped a coin into the fountain. Surely not, right? Oh well, it certainly didn’t hurt any.
“Thorax!” Starlight’s not entirely unwelcome voice chimed in. “Didn’t expect to see you out here.”
Starlight was dressed semi-casually, in a pleated skirt and blouse, with her deep purple cascading mane tied in a -ahem- ponytail. She sat herself down beside him, smiling. “Party a little bit much for you too?”
“Yeah… I guess,” Thorax admitted. “Though truth be told? I just didn’t want to be around for when Ember got up on some table with Prince Rutherford and started singing like a drunken fool.”
“Oh, you mean like that?” Starlight asked gesturing to the inside where a chorus of ‘Whiskey in the Jar’ was being belted out at the top of Ember’s lungs. Starlight hoped she just didn’t decide to start stripping soon, there was no telling what a drunk dragoness would do. “...well, I suppose this whole summat is going off without a hitch.”
Some glass shattered and a chair was tossed out of a nearby window. Starlight winced as it landed next to her, smashing on impact on the cobblestones. “...Well, mostly without a hitch anyways.”
Starlight and Thorax walked, under the evening light. The sunset was particularly beautiful tonight, a cascade of reds and oranges with some pink thrown in. Thorax, as he walked with his friend, flashed back to another event.
It was during the party when Starlight officially graduated as Twilight’s student. “Whoo!” she shouted. “Well, this is a bit of a thing, definitely a thing isn’t it?”
“You’re drunk, aren’t you?” Thorax asked. “Like, you are.”
“Maybe a little,” Starlight admitted, clad in a beautiful red sparkling dress that hugged her figure. She didn’t appear all that happy about it, really. “...Ugh, I can’t wait till this is all over.”
“Well, I think you look beautiful,” Thorax said. “Isn’t that what you mares like to feel? Beautiful?”
“Well… yeah, I suppose, but…” Starlight grumbled. “All of this? It’s a bit much, isn’t it? I had to spend several hours just tweaking my mane alone!”
“I don’t know,” Thorax said. “I mean, this is a celebration. You and Trixie, you helped save the changelings. You helped me overthrow the former Queen. I mean, I think there’s a bit of celebrating to be allowed, right?”
“I know, I know,” Starlight said. “I just don’t like all the attention really. I know, irony, compared to my former self. Then again, my former self was a loon really.”
“Yeah, that she was…” Thorax trailed off in agreement before he realized what he’d said and more precisely whom he’d said it to. “Oh, oh, I’m sorry! I’m such an idiot!”
“No, no! It’s absolutely fine,” Starlight said with a laugh. “If I can’t laugh at myself, and my past idiocy then who can I laugh at? Plus, my former self? She had no sense of style. The way I wore my mane? I mean, come on! That went out of fashion like five decades ago! Goddess, I was such a fashion disaster!”
“Well, not completely, right?” Thorax asked. “I mean, Spike told me about the pantsuits. You looked… authoritarian, really. Like a businessmare!”
“Yeah, authoritarian,” Starlight snorted. “I suppose that’s one way to put it. I mean, I get what you’re trying to say, but… let’s be honest here. I don’t look good as a mayor. I mean for one, you can’t see all of this!”
She gestured to herself. Yeah, she was definitely drunk Thorax decided right then and there. Still, she was a fun one to talk to. She definitely spoke her mind. “So, looks like Trixie’s lapping up all the attention.”
Thorax looked towards Trixie, where the mare was regaling others in probably made up stories. He knew for a fact that she hadn’t dared to face down the now ex-Queen Chrysalis with just a sword and sorcery. She’d been much more cowardly the way he remembered it.
Not that he was going to stop her from having her fun. That was Starlight’s job.
“So… you and Trixie…” Thorax started out not quite sure on how to phrase this. He heard a voice in the back of his mind -one that sounded suspiciously like his brother- just telling him to be out with it. “You’re pretty close, right?”
“Yeah, she’s my best friend,” Starlight nodded. “So yeah, I’d say we’re pretty close. Duh.”
Then she realized what Thorax was trying to get at.
“Oh! You mean close as in… close!” Starlight said trying to hide her giggles. “Oh, we’re not that close. I don’t swing that way. Maybe Trixie does, given she’s offered to cuddle up in her wagon with me… Okay, yeah, she swings that way. There’s really no other way to take that sorta thing....”
They then watched Trixie then trace a finger up a changeling’s chin, and they overheard comments of lovebug and the like. “...Okay, so she’s bi. I’d suggest we take our leave, I don’t want to hear anything from her wagon. Yeah, that’s right… Starlight, I’mma going to just… yeah.”
With that, she collapsed in Thorax’s arms.
“Now that was a day, huh?” Thorax asked Starlight. “Bit wild, really.”
“A bit too wild, if you ask me,” Starlight said. “Ugh, waking up with a hangover was not fun. Not fun at all. Remind me, why do ponies drink that stuff?”
“Hey, you volunteered for the Apple Family Cider, right?” Thorax teased. “As their personal taste tester for the new batch.”
“Yeah… yeah, I suppose I did bring that upon myself,” Starlight agreed. “You should have seen Rainbow’s face. Now, I knew it wasn’t very… uh, friendly of me but it was absolutely hilarious to see!”
“Yeah, it sorta was wasn’t it?” Thorax agreed with a small laugh. “You’re a good friend, you know that right Star?”
“Well, I should think I am!” Starlight said in a tone of mock haughtiness. “I’m one of the few who’s able to put up with you!”
Thorax lightly shoved her away and gasped as Starlight fell into a nearby duck pond. “Oh, I’m so sorry!” he apologized.
Starlight just grinned. “Oh, it’s on!” she said before splashing some water at him. The two collapsed into laughter, just like two old friends -which Thorax supposed they were really- after shooting the shit at a bar.
“You’re right though,” Thorax said as he sat down beside her on a grassy knoll. Starlight had climbed out of the pond and dried herself off with a spell. Her horn glowed its usual light turquoise shade as ever. “You are one of the only ponies I know who’s willing to put up with me for any length of time. Look, I know my brother said to just be myself at times but I… just wonder if being myself is enough. I’m constantly worried that when Chrysalis comes back, and make no mistake as she will I won’t be enough to protect them. My subjects I mean.”
“Oh, I dunno… I’d say a bit of kindness goes a long way,” Starlight commented. “I’m not saying you’ll ever reform Chrysalis or anything -because reforming that bitch would take an honest to Celestia miracle- but you’ve made allies with your personality. You yourself protecting your changelings? Yeah, that’s good, but you don’t have to be alone anymore. So, stop throwing yourself a few pity parties! It’s unbecoming of a royal such as yourself!”
“Wow… that’s actually probably true,” Thorax said. “You really have changed. In more ways than one!”
“Hey, Twilight made me a guidance counselor right? That means a bit of tough love every now and again I’d say,” Starlight said punching him in the air gently. “That includes self-doubting changeling kings!”
Yeah, Thorax decided then and there. He liked her, maybe even more than he liked Ember. Maybe… just maybe she was what he’d been searching for. But he wouldn’t press her, at least not yet.
“Well, aren’t you mister thoughtful tonight,” Starlight commented. “You’ve been drifting off every so often this night, it makes a mare begin to wonder. I think I can even see the gears churning away in your brain, and a bit of steam coming out of your ears. Don’t overwork yourself, eh?”
“Yeah… yeah,” Thorax agreed. “Maybe I am being a bit too mister thoughtful tonight.”
“I mean, there’s nothing exactly wrong with just thinking,” Starlight said. “You should go spend some time with Applejack at times. She has this little tree in the orchard, and it’s basically a nice place to curl up under and use as a ‘thinkin’ spot’ as she puts it.”
“Yeah, that sounds pleasant,” Thorax said. “I have this little place, away from the rest of the hive. It’s sorta like that.”
“Oh?” Starlight asked. “Do tell, what is it?”
“It’s called... “ Thorax said and paused for effect as per requirement. “A desk!”
Starlight just burst out laughing. “You see, your brother is absolutely right. You should be yourself! Because quite frankly, what I’m seeing here in front of me? It’s hilarious!”
“Oh, I just thought it was one socially awkward bug or something…” Thorax said.
“Socially awkward, but in a good way,” Starlight pointed out. “It’s actually kinda cute really…”
“Cute?” Thorax asked.
“I mean, well yeah!” Starlight replied. “You really should give yourself some more credit. You are a… cutie bug if you excuse the frankly poor pun.”
“You’re a dork,” Thorax said.
“Who, me?” Starlight said placing a hand on her chest and giving out a little fake gasp of horror and offense. “Why I never have heard such tripe!”
Thorax smiled at this. It felt… nice, really just to sit back and talk with his best friend and get away from the concerns of ruling even if it was just only for a little while.
“Mind you,” Starlight continued. “You’re no slouch in the dorkiness department yourself. I mean, I remember those comments about how you’re such a big fan of Ogres and Oubliettes!”
“Hey, what can I say,” Thorax shrugged. “Bards are my thing.”
“And you know what they say about bards right?” Starlight asked. “They’re quite good with the mares…”
Thorax’s heart rate sped up a little. Now was the time to voice his concerns. “Starlight… I, uh. Well, I have another problem. You see, it’s not just the former Queen I’m worried about. It’s the current one or lack thereof. You see, without a Queen, the hive…”
“Can’t continue, really. Yeah, so I’ve heard…” Starlight admitted. “I’ve done my reading on the matter as best of it as I can. There’s surprisingly little information about changelings as it is. This is a bit of a problem, really… You’re thinking a bit about political marriage aren’t you?”
“How… how’d you know?” Thorax gasped.
“Because I know you,” Starlight said. “You still have a few more years actually, before you have to start worrying. I did some calculations, and it’ll still be about five more years before things really start to get worrisome.”
“Of course you did,” Thorax smiled. “It’s what you do, you and math. But quite honestly?”
“Yeah?” Starlight asked now noticing how close Thorax was to her.
“I think the solution to my problems is right in front of me,” Thorax said. “That is… well, if you’ll have me.”
“Hmm, I’ll have to consider that…” Starlight said wrapping her arms around him and teleporting him off just as she pressed her lips to his own.
Starlight let out a gentle giggle as she and Thorax stepped inside the room, her arms wrapped around the Changeling King as she gently gave him on a small kiss on the lips. His purple eyes widened in shock, caught off guard by the mare’s eagerness, yet still surprising tenderness.
“Something wrong Thor?” Starlight asked surprising herself even with the nickname. Her jacket slowly slipped off of her during this point, just to try and ‘encourage’ Thorax a little bit more. “Surely I’m not that forceful for you…”
“Thor?” Thorax asked blinking in surprise, his normally lime green chitlin now turning a bright beet red. “...are we giving nicknames now?”
“Apparently,” Starlight smiled before kissing him again. “Oh, I see now. You’re nervous, aren’t you? Don’t be, there’s absolutely nothing to be worried about. It’s just sex.”
“Just sex huh?” Thorax asked, nervously rubbing the back of his head with a hand. “You make it sound like it’s so simple really…”
Starlight let out a little giggle, Thorax was just that adorable. She was still honestly amazed that once you got past the whole King of the Changelings thing, nobody had even asked him out on something as simple as a date. At least that was the impression she was getting off of him. Still, it was her duty to help him through this. Truth be told, she could sorta understand why he was a little nervous really. She admitted at times she could be a rather intimidating mare, and she would have been lying if she didn’t say that the leadup to her first time wasn’t a little scary.
“Sorry, it’s just… well, it’s the kiss really…” Thorax admitted his voice a slight stammer. Biting his lip, he continued. “I’m… I’m just surprised, that’s all.”
“What, never had a mare kiss you before?” Starlight asked. “Oh, surely not!”
“W-Well, truth be told I’ve had a few kisses before, but… but they either never went anywhere, or I was just too nervous to respond back,” Thorax explained before nervously, he pressed forwards and kissed her back. It was nothing special, it wasn’t the best kiss Starlight had ever had as it was awkward and fairly clumsy. But Thorax was trying, at any rate. “How… How was that?”
“That… that was nice,” Starlight said, deciding to opt out on the better part of valor and lie to spare his feelings. Then again, she mused to herself, was it really lying? There was a sense of passion behind that kiss, clumsy as it was. “I liked it,” she said without hesitation.
“I… I always thought pony affection was something that you guys gave freely, Pharynx told me you had a snuggle season or something. I think he was lying,” Thorax admitted. “Clearly it’s a bit more complicated than that…”
“Yeah, he was just screwing with you,” Starlight admitted before she let out a giggle upon seeing Thorax’s expression. “...Though I could get behind that idea, really. I’ll see if I can petition Princess Twilight to make that official…”
She gave him another quick kiss, before pulling him back by his robes into the bed. With a gentle thud, they landed on the covers, still kissing each other. Starlight’s mane now fell loosely, the hair tie having been removed. “I’m… I’m sorry, was that too forward?” Starlight asked.
“No… Not at all!” Thorax said rapidly, feeling a rising heat in his nethers deep beneath his robes. “Truth be told, I’m… I’m actually kinda excited now!”
Starlight smirked when she saw the bulge. “I can tell…”
Thorax blushed even redder. “Right, so we’re really doing this?” Thorax asked. “Just to be clear, we’re actually doing this?
Starlight smiled as she sat on the bed on her knees, smoothing out her skirt. He was too cute like he really was. But Celestia damn it if she wasn’t getting horny by now. She needed this, she needed him. “Well, unless you can think of another reason why a mare invited you back to her bedroom… So stop being so nervous, okay? This really isn’t anything to be worried about. It’s not like you’ll impregnate me or anything, there are far too many differences in our respective species for that to even happen! I mean, I'd have to take a potion for starters!”
“If you say so…” Thorax admitted, really rather skeptical of that. But all the same, he lunged into another kiss, gently undoing the buttons on her shirt. Starlight meanwhile, kicked off her boots and let them fall next to the bed. This next kiss was far better, more passionate. It was more of a dance, compared to the simple slow waltz from before. And Starlight had decided she liked it, letting out a little moan to show her pleasure. Finally coming up for air, Starlight grabbed Thorax and kissed him again as she pulled his robes open running her hands up and around his firm chest.
They rolled around on the bed, Thorax ending up on his back as Starlight continued to kiss him. Her top had been tossed aside, leaving her in a nice teal blue camisole, one of the straps falling off her shoulders. Thorax decided then and there that he wanted her, littering her neck and shoulders with gentle kisses. Starlight just let out small pleasured sighs all the while. “Yes, exactly like that…” she thought to herself. “I can be patient, let Thorax take his time.”
The brief glances Starlight cast towards his waist emboldened Thorax, he was beginning to think she was far more eager about this than she was actually letting on. It pleased him to know this, and Starlight would soon know that. He would let her know that.
Then Starlight found her camisole being pulled over her head, and she looked pleased by this. Now he was getting into it. “You… Do you know? I’ve suddenly decided that you ponies wear one too many clothes…” Thorax whispered nibbling on her ear. Starlight let out a pleasured gasp at this.

Thorax looked terrified by this prospect. Starlight giggled. “Don’t worry, sweetheart,” she said. “Let them talk. This whole summat was about improving relationships between species, right?”
“Right…” Thorax trailed off. Well, they’d certainly succeeded at THAT! He wanted to say something to Starlight, but he wasn’t sure how he could really voice it. Then he decided to hell with it, if Starlight didn’t feel the same way he could deal with it afterward.
“Starlight Glimmer, I'll ask this again but will you be… well, will you be my queen?” Thorax asked. Starlight said nothing. “I… I know this seems a bit sudden, and if you don’t want to accept then I won’t blame you but uh…”
“Of course I will, you dumbo,” Starlight said. “After all, I can’t just trust everything to you, can I? After all, if you’re this nervous about sex, goodness knows what else you’re nervous on.”
“Ye… HEY!” Thorax shouted.
“I was just teasing you, you great big green goof,” Starlight drawled. “But you know what they say, behind every great man is an even greater mare, right?”
“...I’m… I’m not sure that’s exactly what they say, really,” Thorax replied. “But I’m just glad I met you, Starlight Glimmer.”
“That’s just cheesy,” Starlight said as she finally felt Thorax’s member begin to relax. She grunted as she felt him pull out, before rolling over to meet his eyes. She reached out to cup his cheek with a hand. “I’m not saying it’s wrong, as I don’t mind it. But it’s definitely cheesy.”

Then came a small creak of the door, as Gallus entered. “Counselor Starlight, I found some of your laundry on the lawn and I thought I’d take it to… you… before… it…”
“Thank you Gallus,” Starlight said. “Just place it on my dresser. And we’ll talk about privacy at the next parent-teacher conference okay?”
Gallus nodded and did what was asked before he very quickly took his leave muttering something about how he needed a shower.
“You’re scary, you know that right?” Thorax asked.
“Got it in one,” Starlight replied giving him a small kiss before the two finally fell asleep. “Goodnight, my King.”
