Knight of the eclipse
The tables are set
Previous ChapterNext ChapterYour brow rises in slight disgust. “Uhhh... I'd rather not, if it's all the same to you.” The dog's lip pouts. You stand by your choice, boning a dog just doesn't seem appropriate.
“Well, aren't you just a party pooper. Well, regardless, I'm still gonna help you out. Come over here,” she mentions, yourself hesitant now that she's made sexual advances. “Oh come on, it's not like I'm going to rape you. I have new clothes and stuff for you.”
To this mention, your interest rises and you make your way over to her little island. Stepping onto the soft silky sand of her little paradise, she presents you with some soft clothing that almost feels like silk. The clothing itself is a light brown color save for the boots which are black and ride half way up your shin. The robe pants are soft and flexible, stretchy even. On top of that, the upper garment mostly consists of overlapping robes that cross over your chest and meet at your waist. The sleeves are wrist long, not loose but not tight either.
“Huh... kinda nice... how'd you know my size?” you ask and she shrugs.
“Wild guess... come on, there's one more thing you'll need,” she says, walking into the water and into the dense mist. If she wanted you to go through the water again, couldn't she have gotten you dressed on the other side? Sheesh...
You follow the robbed dog goddess out of the sanctuary and into the depths of the forest, the journey being quiet for the most part, save for the odd lewd joke she makes every now and then. You remember the one joke rather vividly. She asked you if you knew what a 'Cuzzif' was then answered it was the bit of skin between the pussy and anus 'Cuzzif' it wasn't there it'd just be one hole. You decide to break the silence with a fairly serious question. “So... who are you. I mean... I've never seen a dog talk before.”
Lassie stops with a slight groan. “You haven't seen much of this world so I can't blame you... but almost everything talks... you'll see... eventually,” she comments. “Come on, it's not too much further.”
The two of you enter a small clearing which turns out to be some kind of cemetery with some sort of small monastery in the center. “What is thi-” you begin but the dog cuts you short.
“Shush... these are sacred grounds... the dead have ears,” she whispers. You feel a shivering chill go down your back and decide to keep quiet and follow the dog without another word.
You arrive to the wooden double doors of the small building and without so much as a word, Lassie knocks several times. A moment pauses and the doors creak open with an utmost eerie feel in the air, a shivering chill washing over you almost as if the air just got colder.
There's a long walkway up to a small pedestal where bright moonlight casts down through ceiling glass panels. There are several small benches leading up to the pedestal on each side of the room, several of the benches having skeletal remains of... four legged animals. Horses... maybe, you presume. “I must be tripping on acid,” you whisper quietly.
Lassie leans over to one of the skeletal remains and whispers something to it before nodding and looking to you with a nod, then continues towards the pedestal. As you near the stand, you take notice of what the moonlight is casting illumination down upon.
It looks fairly reminiscent of an old, perfectly preserved longsword from the medieval era. It lays still, a thick coat of dust covering it as it lays perfectly still across the pedestal. There's a slight glimmer that reflects the moonlight, coming off of part of the grip that is just below the cross-guard. With piqued interest you dust off the ancient blade and take in a deep breath as its absolute beauty fills the room, moonlight glimmering off the entire fuller and edge. The entire room is cast with glimmering lights akin to that of the aurora borealis.
You notice a little crystal orb where the light had originally been reflecting from. It looks like a Yin-Yang. One part is dark blue with a symbol of a sun, the other part is bright yellow with a symbol of a crescent moon.
Lassie speaks up in whisper. “This was the ultimate weapon created by the regal sisters, many, many century ago. The legend is, that they used both molten from the sun itself, and dark shadow magic of the younger sister... buuuuut, that's just what the legend says,” she informs you. Your gaze doesn't even drift to her in the slightest. You're completely captivated by this immaculate sword. “Why not give-er a whirl?” Lassie suggests.
You ponder the thought for a moment. It would almost be a sin for someone to touch it but... your hand reaches out, as if drawn to it. Fingers trembling, you touch the grip with your right hand and a spine rattling shiver rips through you as you touch the sword. “Oh my...” you trail off, the shiver still rattling your entire body. It was like being in the presence of absolute royalty, you almost feel as though you should bow before it's awe-invoking presence.
Picking it up into both hands, you raise the mighty blade up. It looks as though it should weigh at least a dozen or so pounds but it's light as a feather and sturdy too. “Incredible...” you mutter. Swinging it to the left, then to the right before swiftly striking upwards, your breath is taken away as the blade begins to hum and glimmer, glistening bright light emanating from the crystal in the center. “Wow...” is all you manage before turning to speak to Lassie.
“How di...” you trail off as you realize she's simply vanished. “La-Lassie?” you call out but with no reply. 'Where did she... go?' you wonder quietly. Looking around, you notice a sheath nearby for the sword and stow it away, strapping it to your back before looking around the monastery. There's a huge statue of two... unicorns with wings. Walking up to it, you look on in awe. They looked so... majestic.
With one more quick peek around, you take note that there is nothing more for you here and head for the exit. Just as you're about to leave, you take one last look at the looming statue of the two winged unicorns. “What is this place?” you whisper before heading out.
You quickly exit the cemetery grounds, not looking back as you leave that place behind. Stopping at the fence of the cemetery, you look around. “Where the hell am I supposed to go?” you ask yourself. The moon is still risen high above the world, shining down brightly. You lick your lips and wonder why it hasn't lowered any or moved. It just... stays in the same place.
You can feel the sword on your back humming and vibrating slightly. Unsheathing it, you find it to be glowing brightly yet again. Almost as if suddenly you have direction to follow, you sheath the sword on your back and head out in a seemingly random direction.
Pushing through the thick underbrush of the forest, you begin your trek to... wherever this unseen force is leading you. You keep moving but stop at one point and notice you haven't heard a single bird, or animal or anything... “It's quiet... too quiet...” you whisper to yourself before pushing on.
Exiting into a clearing, you let out a gasp as you stumble across a wooden rope bridge leading across a small canyon and to an enormous, eerie looking castle. Lightning crackles in the background, darkening out everything else except the castle. “Jeepers...” you mutter just before a booming voice roars out.
“DON'T MOVE A MUSCLE!” The voice yells and you stiffen. Within a moment you are surrounded by... small horses with bat wings. Several of them aim bows at you while others armed with spears take a closer position.
“WOAH, WAIT!” You yell in panic. “I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!” You cry out as you raise your hands in surrender.
“A likely story!” Says the voice from before as a shadowed figure emerges from the darkness of the forest you just came out of. “Disarm yourself, rebel scum!” the voice barks and you quickly shake off the sword which drops at your feet. “Good... good...” the voice trails off and a cyan blue horse with normal feathered wings steps forwards. It looks ridiculous. The small winged horse had a short flat top mane that's rainbow colored.
That's it... you're on acid, you just know it. Talking dogs and horses that are multicolored... “Where is your rebel base! Talk and I won't execute you on the spot!” The pony demands. You shake your hands in defense.
“Woah-woah-woah! I don't know anything. I just... ended up here and I have no idea what's going on!” You plead in panic. The rainbow colored pony goes to speak again but one of her subordinates speaks up.
“Ma-am... Our royal highness may wish to speak with this one... in regards to that purple alicorn that was here shortly ago...” the other pony spoke. The gristled looking winged pony bites her lip and mutters a curse under her breath.
“You're right... okay, Moonbeam, grab his sword!” the rainbow haired one orders and a fairly large pony steps forwards and goes to grab your sword but gasps at first yank, nearly toppling over.
“GUH!” He grunts, steadying himself and trying a second time, this time more focused but again is shocked to find it won't even budge. “WHAT?!” the pony booms as he reefs on the sword with all his might but finds it won't even budge an inch.
The rainbow maned pony orders several others to try and grab it, one after the other but to no avail. Scoffing and spitting to one side, she says something about having to do it herself. Gripping it with a hoof she grunts and pulls, the sword moving ever so slightly before halting in place. Her eyes go wide with a fiery blaze as she glares to you. “WHAT KIND OF MAGIC IS THIS?!” She booms and you again wave your hands in defense.
“I have no idea. I picked it up in some old cemetery!” you reply, her eyes narrowing.
“A grave robber... I should have known, you rebel scum,” she spits. “Well... I know you can lift it...”

The sword swings about on your back as you bounce slightly with each step taken. Your hands and legs are tied around a wooden plank. The plank itself is being carried by two hunking ponies that have muscles on top of muscles.
They've taken you into the castle, which has dozens of guards posted everywhere. There's huge hallways, with ceilings dozens of feet high. Creepy looking chandeliers hang in just about every hallway that are lit with torches.
Coming to a large set of doors, four of the group step forwards and push the mighty double doors open with a loud creaking. You all enter what you presume to be a throne room of sorts. There's huge cauldrons of dark blue fire on each side of the main carpet leading up to the...
You gulp as you dare a glance to where they're taking you. There's an enormous throne chair with a dark entity residing on it. The being is caped in darkness but you can tell it's fairly large, slender and somehow emanating a jet black plume of darkness.
Stopping several feet before this mighty presence, the ponies drop you to the floor with a 'THUD'. “GOWWWW!” You scream out in pain.
“Your majesty!” The rainbow one speaks out as they all bow. “We found a rebel trying to sneak into the castle!” she announces. The dark presence steps up, the eerie shadows evaporating as it steps forwards. It's tall, slender, four legged and...
You gulp. It has bat wings and a horn... it's a horse. The being steps over to within just a few inches of you, the clip-clopping of her majestic horseshoes clinking with each step. Her movements are regal...
You swallow hard as you look up into her peering eyes that seem to pierce your very soul. “And what have thou to say?!” her voice makes you flinch, your eyes clenching shut as you squeak out a reply.
“I-I just ended up here! I have no idea what's going on! I-I-I just stumbled upon this place by accident!” you plea. Her voice cackles with laughter.
“Thou just stumbled upon thy castle by accident?!” She, you guess her gender, laughs maniacally.
“I just... I woke up with no memory, I met a talking dog and she gave me some clothes and this sword... I have no memory of anything else... your highness?” you meekly inform her. Her eyes blaze as she looks down upon you. The rainbow one speaks up.
“Your highness, if I may speak?” says the rainbow one. The majestic winged unicorn nods. “We believe he may have been acting with that purple alicorn we met earlier. They are most likely plotting with the rebels!” she announces.
The majestic winged unicorn looks down upon you. “And what does thou have to say for thouself?” she asks.
You shiver as you speak in disbelief. “This has to be a dream right? I mean... I met a talking dog earlier and now I'm talking with horses...” her eyes blaze with raging fury as all the others gasp in utter shock.
“A whoarse?! You view me as a WHOARSE?!” She roars, the walls of the castle shaking. “THROW HIM IN THE DUNGEON!” She orders and before you know it, you're shackled in chains. They quickly try to remove your sword, even this majestic entity gives a mighty effort but to no avail. “I have no time for this!” she roars. “Send him away with the sword, it does not matter!” she orders and with that the rainbow colored one begins to shove you down the throne room and into a hallway.
As you are escorted along the rainbow mare laughs at you. “You've got some nerve calling the princess a whoarse,” she laughs. You dare to speak.
“Well... like... I know some of you have wings, or horns... and she has both... but aren't you all still horses?” you ask and she stops, kicking you in the back of your knee, dropping you to the ground before bringing a dagger to your throat.
“You dare call me a whoarse?!” she snarls. “Princess Nightmare Moon said I have to bring you to the dungeon, but she didn't say you had to be alive!” she snaps.
“Well what hell are all of you then? I'm a human!” she pauses for a long moment before applying slightly more pressure, drawing a bead of blood from your neck.
“I'm assuming you mean the fact that we're ponies... right?” she asks and you nod ever so carefully.
“Well... ponies... horses... yeah... I mean, where I came from neither ponies nor horses could speak,” you say and the dagger lowers from your neck.
“You say whoarses like it's some kind of species.” You nod as you swallow hard, wishing you could rub your tender neck that's been cut.
“Yeah... back on my world... we had things call horses... they were like all of you but not so colorful... and they couldn't talk,” you mention. She perks a brow.
“Indeed... well here, referring to someone as a whoarse means they are... ahem... to purchase for...” she trails off and you clue in.
“Oh... OH!” you gasp, realizing the fatal mistake you made with the princess. The rainbow mare snickers.
“Welp, yah done bucked up now-” she is cut off by an eruption that rocks the palace. Debris falls from the ceiling as the floor beneath you shakes. “Oh... for the love of Celes... NOW?! Really?! They choose now of all times?!” she literally screams before looking to you. You perk a brow in wonder but are met with a hoof to the face that knocks you clean out...

You wake up, feeling the ground thump beneath you every so often. “Ugh...” the ground thumps again, making you feel queazy. “GUHHH!” You cry out. Again the ground thumps and you realize you're still in this mystic castle, not waking up in some shitty washroom, nearly overdosed on drugs or throwing up from alcohol poisoning.
You're still chained all together and laying in a heap on the floor as guard ponies rush past you. “Uhh... help?” you call out but they pay you no mind. Struggling in the chains you cry out for someone to come to your aid but to no avail.
There's a humming on your back, a tingly vibrating feeling and the sword slowly unsheathes itself. You look wide eyed in shock as the blade levitates itself in front of you, almost as if being held by an invisible entity. The blade cuts through the chains like a hot knife through butter, the shackles falling off around your wrists and ankles in smoldering heaps.
You quickly stand up, patting off your brown robbed clothing and looking on to the floating sword that is just hovering there infront of you, casting out a bright light from the center crystal.
With both hands, you grab the grip and your body begins to shake as a surge of energy and power washes over you. A whirlwind whips up around your body, blowing everything away from you and putting out every single torche in this hallway.
You go wide eyed as the sword hums and shakes in your hand. The fuller and edge glow dark blue, while a wild fiery aura of lighter blue energy crackles around the sword. Instinctively, you raise the blade high above your head and thunder booms in the distance as lightning pierces the castle and connects to the sword, blasting the ground around you and ripping through the floor.
The lightning and thunder subside and you continue to look in awe at the mighty sword before a tremble shakes the ground beneath you, this one not caused by your sword. You decide to head back towards that throne room and see what's going on.
Rushing down hallway after hallway, you soon find yourself before the massive set of double doors and go to push it open but find it closed stiff. With another shove you try to get in. You can hear a mighty clash erupting inside the throne room, a great desire to participate swelling inside of you.
Gripping the sword tightly, you drive it through the door and it too is pierced like butter from a hot knife. Smoke begins to fume from the door as you easily cut a decent sized hole to fit through and enter the room where chaos has already begun.
Those guards you saw from before were fighting with ponies adorning white and gold armor. Alongside these new gold armored ponies was that rainbow maned pony that hit you in the head. A thundering voice grabs your attention from above as she speaks to the newcomers. “Thy shall have thou hung for treason, Captain Dash. Thou and your friends!” she scowls, her lips then curling back to reveal a sharp set of teeth.
Several ponies stand alongside whom you presume to be the said captain, and four others standing alongside of her. There's an orange pony, a pale yellow pony with wings, a pink pony, and a white unicorn. The captain steps forwards, the white unicorn's horn flaring up with some kind of energy as little stones are levitated up and in front of the captain.
“Not if we have anything to say about it, your highness. Your tyranny and oppression comes to an end, right here... tonight. And with The Elements of Harmony, you shall be no more!” the cyan blue pegasus yells out, only making the majestic princess laugh.
“I think not!” the princess sneers. Another regal voice enters the scene, shifting your attention to the large hole in the throne room wall that had been blown open prior to your arrival.
“I think so!” says a white winged unicorn. This one had similar stature to the dark blue princess. Though this one had a pure white fur coat, her armor pure white and with a shining gleam to it. Her mane was mystic and flowing, just like the other.
You rub your forehead in confusion. 'This is really messed up,' you think quietly as you lean on a totem that ends up tipping over. “SHIT!” You curse, grabbing everypony's attention. The totem falls over and knocks into another one that quickly creates a domino effect right to the five mares.
They all jump out of the way but the little stone things are left behind and are crushed into pieces by the last falling totem. The white winged unicorn lets out a cry of despair while the rainbow maned pegasus looks to you with fury in her eyes. “YOU!” she shouts.
“Me...” you squeak as she begins storming towards you. “SORRY, I DIDN'T MEAN TO-” you don't get to finish as the mare zooms full force into you, slamming you into a wall.
“DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'VE JUS-” she's cut off by an eruption of immense magnitude. The two of you look on as both winged unicorns clash towards each other, shooting bursts of energy from their horns that collide and erupt in massive explosions.
The blue one launches a blast that the white one deflects with a shield and the blast ends up directed right at you and the captain. Both of you jump but the eruption of energy still sends you skidding a couple more feet across the ground.
You hear the regal voices speaking to each other. “Thy have let thous little rebellion persist long enough, Celestia. It's time for thous insurrection to end!” screams the dark blue one to, whom you presume is, Celestia.
“The only thing ending is your dark tyranny, Nightmare Moon!” she shouts back. The two engage in a blade lock with mighty swords that are being levitated by magic. You stand up and sort of just want to yell for everypony to 'stop'.
Scratching your chin, you watch as the two begin to fiercely strike at one another. Sword in hand, you know that it's now or never and that you have to pick a side.
You could side with Nightmare Moon. She is, from what you perceive, the rightful ruler of this place. Armed insurrection never ends well and would only end with more conflict... Besides, her curvaceous body is really something to admire...
Or you could side with Celestia. Nightmare Moon is obviously some sort of tyrant that needs to be brought down... plus Celestia has a nice butt...
