Magic Drain

“Alright, see you later Starlight! Good luck on your friendship quest.”
“Bye! I’ll be back from Canterlot in a few hours.” The unicorn assured her.
Starlight closed the door, and Twilight breathed a sigh of relief. She was finally alone, and nopony could disturb her for the rest of the evening. Which meant it was time to do something she had been itching to do all day. Touch herself… On her head, that is.
Horn masturbation was no joke. Almost all magic wielding equines had to do it to some degree, but Twilight was a rare case. Her alicorn status and special talent with magic meant that volatile energy built up quicker than most ponies. On slow days when she did nothing but lay around reading for hours, the lack of magical exercises caused an uncomfortable pain in her head which needed to be taken care of.
Twilight trotted up to her room and closed the door. Immediately she hopped onto her bed and started rubbing her horn, causing it to spark. Oh sweet mercy. It felt so good! After only a few rubs, her horn became a full-on sparkler, shooting flashes of light in every direction. Unfortunately, doing it on her bed was probably not the smartest idea. One of the flares landed on her pillow, causing it to catch fire. She reacted quickly, using her bedsheets and hooves to smother out the tiny flame before it could spread. It singed her fur, but luckily didn’t hurt much.
“Whew, that was a close one!”
Her horn sparked again involuntarily, causing a shudder. The magic coursing through her body was begging for release, making her very anxious. After a whole weekend of studying it was getting unbearable. She needed a safe outlet, and quickly. She racked her brain for ideas, suddenly remembering that she owned a cleaning tool that might come in handy.
Twilight skittered over to her back closet and opened the door, smiling widely at what was inside. A massive twenty-five gallon industrial shop vacuum, complete with a thick rubber hose. While most vacuums were underpowered and made of cheap plastic, this unit was made of reinforced steel, brushed over with a matte black coat of paint and packed a 2,000-watt motor. It was truly a force to be reckoned with, designed to clean up even the biggest messes. Except she didn’t need it for cleaning up dirt or trash tonight…
Twilight rolled the machine out and plugged it in. Then she grabbed the hose and gently slid her horn into the tube. Just seeing her precious body part completely enveloped by the thick rubber made her stomach tingle. The setup was complete. Now all that was left to do was turn it on, sit back and let the vacuum do its work.
Twilight took a deep breath. The anticipation was killing her… Gathering courage, she stretched out on the floor and used her rear leg to hit the power switch. The machine instantly roared to life, making the lights flicker from the massive draw of electricity. It was loud, and insanely powerful. She felt the pull of suction on her horn as the hose sealed against her forehead. The effects were instantaneous, as she began to feel a stream of energy flow freely. The vacuum sucked precious magic straight from her horn, mercilessly devouring it without falter. The device worked amazingly fast, and within a minute her headache started to clear up.
Feeling that was enough, Twilight stumbled forward and reached for the power switch. However, she accidentally pressed the wrong button and engaged high-power mode. There was an abrupt massive change in pressure on her forehead. The jolt made her fall on her knees, knocking the wheeled vacuum several feet away. The severity of her mistake began to set in. The motor roared louder, and suddenly her horn felt like it was about to be ripped out of her skull. She squealed in pain, her body shaking as she lost concentration. It felt scarily similar to when Tirek had absorbed her magic, except this was far more mechanical and unceasing. Her muscles tensed up, the instinctual trauma of having her magic forcibly stripped away causing her to hyperventilate and overwhelm all senses. She couldn’t even move enough to try turning it off again.
Feeling increasingly weary by the second, Twilight tried levitating the hose off but was physically unable to do so. Every time she focused on her horn, the magic was ripped apart and sucked away before it could coagulate together. Her vision blurred, and her legs quivered. The feeling of total submission was both arousing and traumatizing. Twilight was very powerful, with magic reserves running deep inside her body. However, no amount of resistance could stop the machine from inevitably taking it all.
Twilight started to drool, and gasped for breath. She could feel her energy depleting, getting closer to total extraction. For some reason, she began to like it. Nothing else in the world mattered right now. Not her responsibilities, not even her friends. Every thought was suffocated in a wall of nothingness. All she could focus on was the tight sucking on her forehead, siphoning away every ounce of available strength and leaving her a helpless shell of a pony.
Instinctually, this was wrong on every level. She was an alicorn, and was supposed to do everything possible to protect her magic. But no… She didn’t even want that anymore. The longer the draining went on for, the more incredible it felt. Color was beginning to drain from her body and eyes, signaling a point of no return. With wobbly legs, Twilight finally collapsed on the floor and passed out, succumbing to the endless power of the beastly appliance. Her vision faded, and the last thing she saw was her cutie mark slowly vanishing from her flank…
Twilight woke up in the emergency room, surrounded by Nurse Redheart and Starlight Glimmer. She had a massive headache, and her memory was hazy.
“Ohhhh… W-what hhhappened?” She slurred.
Nurse Redheart approached her with a clipboard in hoof, and quickly answered her question.
“Starlight informed me that she returned home to your castle, and found you passed out on the floor with a running vacuum attached to your horn.”
Twilight squinted from the glow of fluorescent lights overhead. Suddenly, the memories of last night were starting to come back to her. Embarrassment took over, making her blush. Starlight had caught her in the desperate act. There was no hiding from what she had done now. However, neither of them seen intent on teasing her for it. Despite her incredibly stupid and dangerous stunt, Redhead remained sympathetic and professional with a concerned look on her face.
“I understand that magical buildup is a frustrating condition which affects some ponies more than others. However, using appliances to extract magic that weren’t specially designed for it is very dangerous. It can lead to permanent damage to your horn and aural synapses. You should be lucky Starlight found you in time, or it could have been much worse.”
Twilight felt sick to her stomach upon hearing that. Her cutie mark was still missing, and the color was totally drained from her fur. There were so many questions to ask, but she started with the most important one.
“So am I going to be okay?”
Nurse Redhead nodded in response.
“Yes, you should be fine. Your power receptors might feel very dull, but once the shock wears off it should return to normal within a few hours. Once they’ve healed, then we can open the vacuum canister up and return your magic. Starlight brought it with her, so we’ll keep it safe until then.”
Twilight glanced over at her friend, who was standing in the corner with the unit and waving casually. The nurse continued.
“Anyway, don’t exert yourself too much and try to get some rest for the time being. I know you just woke up, but you still look very exhausted. I’ll leave you with Starlight for company, and there’s a pager on your bedside table if you need me.”
Nurse Redheart trotted away and closed the door, leaving them alone. Starlight waited until she had fully left the room to approach Twilight. She leaned closer, speaking quietly with a grin on her face.
“Sooooo… Did it feel good?”
Twilight could only laugh at the immediate salacious question.
“Wow, somepony is eager to know.”
Starlight nuzzled her a bit, obviously hinting at something.
“You know Twilight, if you wanted to try that with a bit of supervision, I would have been glad to help you out.” She winked, nudging the princess on her shoulder. “To be honest, my horn has been buzzing lately too...” She admitted. Twilight was amused by her needy tone.
“So I’m not the only one with desperate ideas here, huh?”
Starlight smirked, crossing her hooves shyly.
“Magic draining has always been a fantasy of mine. Minus the passing out and ending up in a hospital part, of course… Maybe we could try something a little more controlled, if you’re up for it later...” She giggled.
Twilight grinned lecherously, realizing there was a lot more fun in store.
“Oh, you naughty mare…”
