Upped-Licence 1: Class D & Hunter Mesquite

Aftermath of 'Seeing Stars' Marked Mare event
But as she giggled at the two passers-by, she failed to notice that her licence was glowing...
Spike was the first to notice, at tapped on Twilight's back to alert her. "Umm, Twilight? You need to see this!"
Twilight just watched Trixie and Braeburn leave, before turning back to Spike. "What is it, Spike?" Then, she saw her glowing licence, and her jaw dropped.
Then, as the glow surrounding her Learner's Permit dissipated, her licence changed. It wasn't a Learner's Permit anymore. Now, it was slightly-bent white-and-blue licence. Twilight was stumped as to what this meant.
That's precisely when DJ-P0N3's voice filled her radio. Congratulations! That win was all you needed to upgrade your Licence to a Class-D. All your wins have been cleared of the map, so you can beat an event again and add that win to your new Licence. Twilight was now relieved to know she was one step closer to home.
But as she looked at her licence more, her eyes went wide upon seeing how many wins she needed. She now needed 7 wins to get her next licence.
And DJ-P0N3 wasn't finished speaking. Celebrate upgrading your licence with a new car. The Hunter Mesquite has been delivered to the Junkyard.
Spike looked at Twilight, smiled and said, "Whaddya' say we check out our new car?" Twilight just smiled back, and hit the gas, heading back the way she had come.
Moments later...
East Crawford Drive Junkyard
Twilight pulled her Cavalry into the Junkyard, passing through the gate that separated the open area from the parking area.
As Twilight pulled into the area, DJ-P0N3 spoke again, Build up your collection of cars, then find a Junkyard like this one to switch you ride at any time. There's 5 Junkyards to find in Paradise!
Twilight pulled to a stop, and she and Spike jumped out. They looked up, to see a lavender-coloured ute hanging from the magnet crane above them. Twilight and Spike didn't have a really good view of the beaten-up car. That is, until the crane dropped the car.
It dropped about 3 feet, where it landed with a loud 'THUD' on the ground, just a few feet from where Twilight and Spike were standing. Twilight slightly fumed at the carelessness of the crane operators. If only those crane operators took a few seconds to show some care, then I wouldn't have to worry about being squashed!
After a few more seconds of silent fuming, Twilight and Spike decided to inspect their new car. It was a beautiful lavender-and-red Hunter Mesquite ute. But it was the furthest thing from pretty. It was badly dented and scratched, and the hood was in the same condition as the Cavalry's when she first got it. The passenger-side door was not closed, instead, it was hanging open. Finally, to top it off, the front windshield was badly cracked.
But neither Twilight or Spike cared. The only thing they cared about was getting home, and getting this car to an Auto-Repair.
The pony and dragon duo hopped into the Mesquite, and sat in their seats. Twilight grabbed the key to the car on the dashboard, and started up the Mesquite. After three seconds, the Hunter roared to life.
Then, DJ-P0N3 came over the Mesquite's radio, Ah, the Hunter Mesquite. Tough enough to take the knocks of rural life. Quick enough to blow the doors off of every preppie in the state. This is an Aggression-class car. Slamming and taking down other races earns boost the quickest in this class, and you can use it at any time.
Great. Good to know, Twilight thought to herself.
Twilight rolled the Mesquite towards the exit, but as the gates were about to open, the came a loud roaring from the left. Twilight and Spike looked in the direction, and saw something she wasn't expecting.
Blasting past the Junkyard, was a red-and-blue Carson GT Concept, and it was being chased down by a aqua-and-orange Jansen XS12, a purple Carson Opus XS and a red-and-black Carson Annihilator. And as soon as they appeared, they disapeared from Twilight's view, heading in the direction of the Wildcats Baseball Stadium.
After a few seconds of staring at the cars that had blasted by, she just shrugged them off as a Marked Mare event in-progress. She then stepped on her throttle, and left the Junkyard, heading for the Auto-Repair on Angus Wharf.
But little did she know was that there was more to that chase that met her eyes...
