Over the years it’s become rarer and rarer for Shining and Twilight to be in the same place at the same time. Things haven’t changed, though, and whenever the family reunites it’s always just like old times. Exactly like old times, when Shining would sneak into Twilight’s room late at night and sit beside her on the bed, and then all the other things besides, trying so hard not to think about Cadance.

But it’s okay, because it doesn’t count.
