As i turned back to take a look on what had happened, I saw Flaming Star at the end of the hallway with the frozen Steely Armor. “How did they get here?” I asked but I forgot that I had a bigger problem.

“Watch out!”

Rarity shoved at me and held a crystal barrier in front of me which blocked the other beam that she shot. She didn’t hesitate for a second and shot a beam directly at Rainbow Dash afterwards. She managed to dash out of the way but she couldn’t stop afterwards and crashed into Pinkie Pie, then they both slid all the way right next to the one they wanted least. She just froze them right away.

“S-Stay AwAy FrOm Me!” she said and walked away. She wasn’t fast but we needed to take care of other things rather than go chasing her. But we couldn’t lose her either. “Rarity and I will go after her and try to tone her down, you try to find a way to get them out of ice.” Then I pointed towards Pinkie and Rainbow Dash.

She wasn’t so fast; we caught up to her really easy, but she didn’t let us get close a lot. She shot another beam at us, thanks to Rarity it didn’t hit us. So I thought I’d try and talk to her again.

“We don’t want to hurt you, we are here to help you.”

“YOU! HeLP? Who ArE You to HELP me!?” She constantly shot beams at us, which told me how serious she was. I told Rarity to get closer so I could touch her, but she wasn’t sure that was good plan. “Do you really want to do this, darling?”

“Yeah, just get me to her.” So we got closer and closer, till I could actually touch her but we needed to let go of our protection for that to happen. We also needed to time this correctly. Just when she held back a little I took the chance and took hold of her hand. Her hand was cold, as if it was ice!

I saw that she broke her mirror. I saw her working in a clothing shop but she wasn’t nice to people; her co-worker gave her commands non-stop and it was just cruel. I saw that she found a crystal, it was like the geodes we found in the Crystal Cave at Camp Everfree. Just when she picked it up the crystal went through her chest; after that everything started to freeze. Then she froze her co-worker. And everyone she saw.

After I released her hand, she said “ Don’T TouCH ME!” and then shot another beam at me. But Rarity kept me in cover.

“She really hates people being around her,” Rarity said as she got close to me. Then I realized what her problem was.”

“Hate. Exactly! She hates herself so she also hates others, too.” As Ii said that she fell to the ground and struggled to stand up.

“Should we help her?” Rarity asked me.

She seemed weak; why? Then the idea came to my mind.

“If her heart is filled with hate, it is likely for her to freeze, too. That’s why she is so cold and weak. She isn’t freezing from outside, but from inside. It isn’t a power she chooses to use on others … OK, maybe it was once … but right now it’s killing her, too!”

The rest of the girls showed up afterwards. We didn’t have much time so I just told them to get close. We all sat down around her. It was then that Fluttershy said “H-hey, wh-what should we do?”

I remembered that you told me the only way to destroy windigos magic is with love.

“We need to give her love, or else her heart will freeze. Everyone, hold each other hands and think of what we mean to each other. I don’t know if it will work, but I can’t think of anything else. She’s getting colder and colder.”

We all did as I said. But this time I felt a warm feeling through me. As I opened my eyes, everything was back to normal. But then I asked myself “What happened to her?”

We all looked at her face; it was bright and alive. After a while she opened her eyes. We all stepped back to give her some air. She stood up and thanked us. I could tell something was different about her now. I asked her what her name was.

“I’m Frosty Cream!”
