It's been a month since the battle with Dio in Egypt, and the price of victory was too high. Iggy, Avdol, and Kakyoin, lost their lives that day. But their sacrifice will not be forgotten, the group's goal wouldn't be possible without them. The survivor's, Jotaro, Joseph, and Polnareff, went their separate ways as their journey came to an end, perhaps one day they'll meet again. As both Joestar descents returned to Japan, they were greeted by a healthy Holly, and her mother, Suzi Q. Jotaro and Joseph were relieved that Holly has made a full recovery. The family celebrated that day and explained how their adventure became quite bizarre.

Seeing the precious moment Joseph is in with his family, he nearly lost his daughter due to Dio's reappearance, the old man made the decision of bringing Holly and Jotaro, to America. This surprised the Kujo family and his wife as they asked why would he say such a thing? He explained by saying should another similar incident should happen, they might not have the answer of who's responsible. And of course he secretly wanted Holly to return home with them.

Seeing he made sense, Holly agreed to move back to America. For now at least. Her husband, Sadao, who was always on tour and rarely home, was messaged that she'll be with her parents for a while until Joseph has calmed down. As for Jotaro, he didn't have much choice as he moved with his mother. There wasn't much for him back in Japan such as friends or among other things. Plus, someone has to keep an eye on her incase his mother does something reckless.

He only hoped from now on things will be quiet…

Present Day, Canterlot

Monday, the worst day of the week. Why? School. And worse, waking up early to get ready. But that's life in America now as Jotaro forced himself up from his bed and prepared for the day. Life in a new place and city has been normal and boring, but mostly normal. There hasn't been much excitement since his trip to Egypt, when everywhere you go, someone is out to kill you. And not a single stand user in sight. Basically, it's not bad!

Still, that doesn't mean it's normal, rumor has it that strange things have happened during his stay in Canterlot, a large rainboom appeared one night, and a crazy light show during a school music event. Jotaro wonder if it was the work of a stand user, but he had never encountered one since then. Personally, he rather not be involved as Joseph wanted to keep things quiet with their stands. It wasn't his problem anyway, but somehow, stand users attracts other stand users. That's one of the reasons why the old man wanted to keep him and his mother close by, who knows what type is stand user is loose in the world.

Until then, he'll have to keep his guard up. Wearing his uniform, Jotaro wore a maroon blazer with a vest, and blue tie, along with dark blue pants and a pair of black shoes. Least to say, he looked...pathetic. It was the school dress code to look appropriate, for someone like Jotaro, it didn't suit him at all. Oh well, at least he kept his hat. Now ready for school, Jotaro grabbed his belongings and left his house.

Not before…

"Jotaro!"

He turned around and saw his mother run in towards him and said.

"Where do you think you're going young man, you almost forgot something!"

"*Sigh* Let me guess, a goodbye kiss?"

"That's right!" Holly grabbed and turned Jotaro's face and gave him a peck on his cheek.

Normally the teenager would shove her away from such a childish act, but nearly losing his mother at the time made him a bit soft on her, so he let her give him a goodbye kiss.

"*Tch* Come on, I'm not a little kid damn it! When are you gonna stop doing that?"

"Only when I feel like it!"

"Of course you will, I'll see you after school."

"Okay!"

Walking away and heading towards School, Jotaro once again sighed. He really hated those goodbye kisses. It may looked cute when he was a young kid, but he's a teenager now, it's unnecessary!

"Good grief, she's still a pain in my ass." Jotaro said as he tipped his hat. Things will never change.

"Hey look it's Jojo!"

"It is Jojo!"

"No way! It's him!"

"Yo! Jojo, wait up!"

Jotaro kept walking as both girls AND boys walked and talked to him. The girls wanted to get his attention and perhaps go on a date with him, the guys however wanted to hang out with him since he's one of those types of guys who looked cool. Yup. Things will never change…

One of the girls grabbed his arm and, one of the guys grabbed his shoulder as they said.

"Hey there Jojo! You free after school? I was wondering if you wanted to see that new movie that just came out! I heard it's amazing!"

"Yo Jojo! Why don't you join the team? Seriously! Those muscles of yours mean you gotta be strong! That other team won't know what hit em!"

Suddenly and another boy and girl pulled the other two away from Jotaro and said.

"What the hell are you doing you slut! You just can't grab Jojo like that! He's not into girls who just throw themselves onto him!"

"What you say to me you bitch?!"

"Dude, what are you doing?! You can't just act friendly to Jojo! You barely even know him! Plus he's too cool for someone like you!"

"The hell you say asshole?!"

"SLUT SLUT SLUT SLUT!!!!"

"BITCH BITCH BITCH BITCH!!!"

"DUMBASS DUMBASS DUMBASS DUMBASS!"

"ASSHOLE ASSHOLE ASSHOLE ASSHOLE ASSHOLE!"

Their argument was non stop! Jotaro immediately turned around and screamed.

"SHUT UP!!! GODDAMN IT, WILL YOU LEAVE ME ALONE IN PEACE?!"

The whole group stared at Jotaro for screaming at them, and then…

"KYAAA! Did you see that?! Jojo talked to me!"

"No way! He was talking to me!"

"YOOO! You guys saw that look on his face?! He's looked so awesome!"

"Now that's a face of a badass right there!"

Seeing it didn't work, the poor teen just rolled his eyes and walked away from the group and continued his trip to the school. Both boys and girls followed him as they continued talking to him.

Canterlot, Crystal Prep Academy.

Crystal prep, only the richest people can afford to send their children to this great school and it's one of the few schools that exist in the city. Many apply, few are accepted. Surprisingly, Jotaro was accepted into the school when they settled in. Joseph was very surprised to hear his grandson was going to a school that took him in! How in the world did this troublemaker get in?! While, he may not look like it, but Jotaro does study and get good grades on his school work. He just doesn't show any interest when attending. You can imagine how the oldest Joestar's reaction looked like!

Still, it didn't mean he liked the school. It may look nice on the outside, but inside, the students don't give a damn about you if your new or been here longer. They are full of ego, and care about popularity. Yet they make good grades despite their attitude. When Jotaro first arrived, he was a nobody to them. Obviously he didn't care, yet some girls did see how attractive he was. But that all changed when he encountered a hot-shot school bully who saw him as a target, he made the wrong decision of bullying Jotaro. But that's a story for another time.

Entering the building, Jotaro was greeted by the other students, giving him a quick hello or a shout out. Even some of the teachers greeted him along the way! He ignored them as he headed towards his locker, he didn't care for the popularly he gain. As he found his locker, he opens it and takes what's needed for today's classes. He hoped that today will go by quick, this place irritates him every day.

Closing his locker, he felt someone running into him. The force barely moved him, but the other person fell flat on ther bottom. Seeing who bumped into him, Jotaro saw a girl wearing casual clothing instead of the uniform the other students wear, her hair is tied to a bun and she appears to be looking for something.

"M-My glasses! I can't see without them!"

Nearby his feet, Jotaro found the girl's glasses. He signed as he picked them up and said.

"Relax, I found them. Hold out your hand."

"Oh! Thank you! I really appreciate that!"

Taking her glasses from the stranger, she placed them over her eyes saw clearly.

"Ah, that's better! Eep!"

"Hmm?"

"I-I-I uh…"

"Got something to say?"

"Umm...N-Nothing! I just didn't think someone like you would take a moment to help me."

"Someone like me? What do you mean?" Asked Jotaro, what did this girl mean, 'Someone like him'?

"Well, what I mean is someone who is popular such as you would help me for nothing." The girl replies.

"Ah, you heard about that. To be honest, I don't give a damn about my reputation. I just wanna go on with the rest of my day and head on home. Believe me, I'm not like the rest of these idiots."

The girl was surprised to hear that, most of the students here cared about their reputation. But this one here didn't! Interesting, but...

"Really? But what about the other students who hang around and walk with you?"

"They're nothing but pests, they just want to be near me because of some fight I won against an idiot who thought a transfer student from another country would be an easy target. I showed him wrong."

"Transfer student? Oh! You're Jojo aren't you? I heard someone from Japan was attending here, I didn't think it was you!"

"That's me alright, and my name isn't Jojo. It's just a nickname that others gave me since my first and last name have the word 'Jo' on it. Back home the other students called me Jojo too, so it's nothing new."

"Oh well, what is your real name? If you don't mind me asking that is."

"It's Jotaro. Jotaro Kujo."

"Jotaro? That's a nice name. I'm Twilight. Twilight Sparkle, nice to meet you!"

"Likewise. As much as I enjoy our talk, I gotta go, class is about to start. I hate being late."

"Oh, sorry! I-I'll just be out of your way, I gotta go too! See you later perhaps?"

"That's if we run into each other, just make sure you see where you're going next time. I doubt these people will give you a helping hand."

"Ain't that the truth, see ya later!"

Both teens went their separate ways to their destination, but it will not be the last time they will see each other.

Later that day.

"Jotaro Kujo, please report to Principal Cinch's Office. Jotaro Kujo, to the office!"

"Good grief, what now…"

Walking towards the Principal's office, Jotaro wondered why the hell they needed him for? If it's about that damn fight a while back, then it's time to face the consequence. Of course he'll say it was self-defense, but knowing how these people work, it'll be blackmailing for sure. Damn it!

Entering the office, there she was, the rudest and perhaps the bitchiest person in this school, Principal Cinch. If only it was Dio, then things will be messy.

Seeing her student at the door, Cinch said.

"Ah, Mr. Kujo, please take a seat."

Taking a seat, Jotaro listen to what was this about.

"I'm glad you are here Mr. Kujo, before we can begin how's your stay in Crystal Prep? I'm sure someone such as you from another country must be having some difficulty adjusting here in our school."

"Not really, things are actually quite the same. Students here are noisy as ever, and the teachers are dedicated to their job. It's almost as if I never left Japan."

Cinch slightly frown as she heard what this young man has said about her school, but that didn't affect her much as she brushed it off.

"I see, at least you are fitting in. That's the important thing, after all, not many can adjust like you can."

"Hmph, can we skip to the reason why I'm here? I rather be somewhere else than here."

"Straight to the point I see? Very well, I'll explain. I noticed you haven't decided to compete in this year's Friendship games, you have been making good grades since you attended. Why haven't you taken any interest? Many of our top students are participating, so shouldn't you?"

("This is why I'm here?") Jotaro thought. ("Not being part of some stupid school competition? What a waste of my time.")

Jotaro has heard rumors of a school competition happening soon with another school when he moved here. Apparently it's a really big deal here at Crystal Prep, and they win all the time. So why does Cinch want him to participate?

"Well Mr. Kujo? Care to explain?"

"I've heard of the Friendship games, and honestly, I don't give a damn about it! If you expected to convince me to join, you're dead wrong. So you can shove up that invitation right up your ass for all I care. Thanks for wasting my time with this nonsense."

Standing up and heading to the door, Cinch had one last thing to say before Jotaro left.

"Very well, you don't have to join the games. But what will your mother think of you when she's gone?"

Jotaro immediately froze, he turned around and gave her the angriest look he's ever done.

"What did you say?!"

"You heard me Mr. Kujo, so I'll explain what's going to happen. You join the Friendship games, win, your mother is safe. Refuse, well, you get the idea."

"Don't you lay a finger on her you bitch!"

"Oh it's not I'm going to do, it's 'they' at going to do!"

"And who the hell is 'they?"

"Hitmen obviously, think of what would happen if your mother was murdered during a home invasion gone wrong? You don't want that to happen to you?"

Jotaro clenched his fists, he really wanted to use Star Platinum on Cinch, but can he? What if Cinch a stand user? What can she do? He hasn't seen her stand yet, perhaps she isn't a user. For now, he kept his guard up and said.

"You're bluffing, a principle like you doesn't have those kind of connections."

"You'd be surprised how desperate people are willing to do for money these days," Cinch Pulled out her phone and said. "all I have to do is send a message on my phone and your mother will die. Simple as that! Choose wisely Mr. Kujo."

Jotaro was speechless, how did she do all of this?! Why are these games so damn important?! He nearly lost his mother before, and now it's happening again! Why can't she be left out of this?! He looks at the phone, if he can use Star Platinum to freeze time, then Cinch's plan is good as gone. But what if she has a back up plan? It could be worse than the current one, Damn it! He can't risk it, no matter how much Jotaro wants to find a way out!

He gave Cinch his answer.

"You're such a bitch, fine! I'll do it! Just leave my mother out if this!"

"Then a have a deal, a wise choice Mr. Kujo! The games begin tomorrow morning, I recommend you sleep early tonight for it's a big day tomorrow. You'll need it."

"*Tch* This isn't over Cinch, I'll finish you in a blink an eye."

Cinch chuckles.

"I'd like to as you try."

"Trust me, you won't see it coming.

To be continued...
