The Friendship Games has begun, both schools are locked in a battle that will determine the fate of the world...at least that's how it feels. In reality, both twelve students from CHS and Crystal Prep have paired up in groups of two in order to advance. On the sidelines, the parent's or family members of the participating students cheered them on to give them motivation.

First, Chemistry. It was simple really, follow instructions and pour in the right ingredients into the flask without blowing up in your face. Or worse. Most passed with ease, one however, failed. Not harm has been done, just a bit of a mess to clean up. And a bath.

Second, Culinary. This next round was a challenge, half of the students don't even know how to bake properly. Not even knowing the right temperature! The judges, Celestia, Luna and, Candace, looked at the students hard work as not all of them impressed the women. But at least they had some good delicious cake. Nice!

Third, Woodwork. A dangerous round as the students had to work with tools that could cause injury, of course no one was that dumb to mess with power tools. Again, some passed, some failed.

Fourth, Spelling bee. This round was very difficult for the students as they were given words that were pretty hard to spell and was a bit advanced. Not all of the students passed while barley any of them made it to the next challenge.

Fifth and final round for the first event, Math. Obviously the most difficult round ever, not many were fond of the subject. Sunset Shimmer, and Twilight were chosen to participate, and both began the event. And the end, Crystal Prep were victorious! Sadly, Twilight's classmates didn't seem happy or impressed with the win. (What a bunch of jerks am I right?)

Leaving the stage, the Crystal Prep students left Twilight behind as they had no interest in her win against Sunset. All except Jotaro, who stayed behind to congratulate her.

See him waiting for her made Twilight smile, he sure isn't like the rest of her teammates.

Meeting up with Jotaro, he said.

"Nice work on the math question up there, I can't even understand how you were even able to solve it!"

"Well, it takes a lot of studying to understand this kind of math. Trust me, it'll melt your brain of you tried."

"I take your word for it, and if I come across a problem on my homework, I know who to call."

"Sure thing! Just so you know, my services don't come cheap." Twilight joked as she nudged him playfully.

"That right? Well then, guess I'll buy you lunch then."

"Even better!"

"Jotaro! Jotaro over here!"

"Good grief," Said Jotaro as he tipped his hat. "Can that old man get any louder?

"Apparently he can for someone his age, I'm surprised your grandfather is even in great shape! I wonder what's his secret?"

("You'd be surprised, that would be the power of his Hamon. Apparently it can keep them young, I'm not intelligent on it but that's how it works.")

Looking at Twilight, he said.

"I'll catch up to you later, I wonder what the old man wants with me."

"Alright."

Walking away from Twilight and towards Joseph, and Suzi Q, the elder Jostar spotted his grandson and said.

"Ah there you are my boy! Been looking and calling for you for a while."

"What do you want old man? This better be important."

"This is important! Me and Suzi Q wanted to congratulate you for getting this far in the games! I must say, for a trouble maker such as yourself, you are smart in school!"

"Oh I'm so proud of you Jotaro!" Suzi Q added. "If only your mother was here to see this. She would be proud!"

"Right…"

Joseph patted Jotaro on the back and replied.

"Come on, no need to be to feeling down right now! Your mother is here, in spirit!"

"Don't talk as if she's dead old man!"

"Oh right, sorry that came out wrong."

"Calm down you two, all this talk is making me hungry. How about we have some of my homemade food I made!" Suzi Q said as she brought out a picnic basket.

Joseph smiled happily as his wife's cooking is always the best! Jotaro just shrugged as he was feeling hungry.

Later that day…

After having a nice lunch, the Joestar family walked to the next event. As they made it, the location is a football field transformed into motocross event! And in the middle, a large wooden ring around another area that appears to an archery event as well.

"Holy...They really went out on this one."

"Tell my about, whoever set this up really wants to win." ("This has Cinch written all over it, there's no way CHS can afford to pay for all this!")

"Oh dear, this event looks quite exciting! I hope we get good seats!"

"Mr. Kujo!"

"Good frigging grief…" Said Jotaro as he knew that voice from anyone. Turning around, he saw Cinch with the other students, waiting for instructions. "*Sigh* Looks like duty calls...I'll see you two later."

Giving their grandson a good luck, Jotaro met up with his class as Cinch says.

"Glad you could join us Mr. Kujo, I hoped you had a good rest before we could begin the games once more?"

"Sure, let's start then."

Cinch stared at the teenage boy as she really pushed her buttons, she wanted to give the hitman the order already. But she calmed herself before she could lose her temper in front of her students.

"Very well, let me begin the plan. As you can see with your own eyes, this event will be a team effort as you will race in pairs. Mr. Kujo and Indigo Zap will handle the motocross section."

"Yes! Time to burn some rubber! Ain't that right Jojo!"

"Whatever."

"Lemon Zest and Sunny Flare have requested the short track, so it's theirs."

Both girls gave each other high fives as they got this in the bag!

"Since archery is a standard requirement at our school, any of you should do it. Twilight and sour sweet will start us off."

"Well that's just marvelous! If you want to lose before we even start." Replied Sour Sweet, giving her partner poor trust in her ability to win.

"Given that Twilight won the last event single-handedly, I have every confidence that she will be able to pull her weight here. WON'T you Miss Sparkle?"

Hearing the slightest raise in her voice poor Twilight just nodded as she really didn't want to lose this event. Her application to Everton is on the line! Is she loses, she won't be able to reach her dream!

As the time to begin the second event, the crowd cheers on in excitement as this will be the most action pack they'll see!

"Welcome everyone to the friendship games' Tricross relay!" Said Cadence over the microphone. "In this event, our qualifying competitors will face off in archery, speed skating, and finally motocross! So, if the competitors are ready, begin!"

The sound of an air horn honked, signaling the competitors to start!

Up first, Sweet Sour, and Twilight Vs. Fluttershy And Applejack in archery!

First Sweet Sour and Fluttershy hopped over some stacks of hay, then grabbed their bow and quiver filled with arrows, and rope swing onto a small platform to shoot their targets. Sweet Sour finished first with ease, while Fluttershy had some trouble shooting her arrow, it gave Twilight a head start. But the poor girl didn't do a good performance as she fell flat on her face jumping over the haystack. Getting back up and running to picking up her bow and quiver, she grabbed the rope and swung onto the platform, however she nearly fell into the my as her foot barely touched the platform.

Seeing how pathetic Twilight is doing Sweet Sour is having one heck of a stress as she really hated her partner. She looked at Fluttershy as she started to get the hang of using her bow, then, her arrow hit the bullseye! Giving Applejack a thumbs up to come over here and finish it!

Now on the platform with her partner, Applejack aimed her arrow and fired. Sadly her shot nearly hit the center, but Fluttershy clapped for her as she almost made it. Doing the same, Twilight fired her arrow, but it didn't hit her target, far from it in fact. She turned to Sweet Sour as she growled at her for missing!

Back with Applejack, she took a deep breath and released her arrow.

*Fwip*

*Tack*

Bullseye!

On the Roller skating track, Its Lemon Zest and Sunny Flare against Rarity, and Pinkie Pie! Hearing their alarm going off, both CHS students rolled off around the ring and finished a lap. Giving Sweet Sour another angry mood.

"Well, that's just fantastic! We lost this one because of you!"

"Boo you suck!" Shouted Indigo Zap.

"Shut up Zap!"

"Sorry Jojo!"

Now demoralized, Twilight, started to cry as nobody had confidence in her! If only Jotaro was here next to her, maybe he can help. But he wasn't. Darn it, why can't she get a break from all of the abuse!

With Jotaro, seeing Twilight not doing so well, made him wish he was there to help her. If only he could use Star Platinum to just guide the arrow to the target, then they can begin. But she's out his range! Even if he used that 'ability', it won't give him the time to reach back to his bike! Suddenly he saw one of the CHS Students walking next to Twilight talking to her, it looks like she's helping her! Twilight aimed her arrow once more, waited, and fired.

*Fwip*

*Tack*

Bullseye! The arrow hit its mark! Giving Lemon Zest, and Sunny Flare the chance to go! Now all he had to do is wait! Eventually, their alarm went off, and both teams drove off! Unknown to them, a couple of portals were opening, and something was coming out...

Driving their bikes and jumping over ramps, Jotaro and the other where head to head on the race course. He had to admit, this is pretty fun! That all changed when a portal opened in front of him and the other racers! From it was a giant plant that looked like a venus flytrap!

"WHAT THE HELL?!"

Out of nowhere, another plant snatched Jotaro off of the course! Miraculously, the plant bit down on his bike as he hung onto the vehicle for his life! He looked up and saw the plant ready to attack again. Jotaro released his grip and his bike was destroyed by the creature. As he fell, he summoned Star Platinum to grab onto the plants roots as it slow his descend. Now on the ground, Jotaro looked up and saw the plant charging to attack again. As it came close…

"Ora!"

Star Platinum's punch knocked the huge plant back away as it collided with another plant. Jotaro kept his guard up incase of another attack, a bike drove past him, it was a CHS student! Rainbow Dash is her name is it? He saw her saving her teammate Sunset Shimmer from another plant. Then she glowed! She stopped her bike, removed her helmet, and grew ears on her head and wings!

("What the hell?! What is going on?! Is this the magic Twilight mentioned? How is this possible? Is that how they were able to see my stand?")

Driving on Rainbow Dash's Bike, Sunset stopped next to Jotaro and said.

"Need a lift?"

"Do I need to ask? You drive, I'll take care of these bastards!"

Getting on the bike and driving off, Both teenagers were now prepared against the creatures.

Wanting Answers, Jotaro said.

"Tell me, what's going on here?! Where did these things come from? And what's causing those portals to open?"

"I have an idea, your friend Twilight, she has something to do with this! I don't know how but ever since you guys arrived, she's absorbing magic for some reason and it's causing all this mess!"

"I know how she's doing this," Jotaro replied. "but we have to find her before anymore more of these plants come out and start killing people!"

"Right! Ya know, your handling this situation better than I thought."

"The shit I've been through before I moved here doesn't compare to this! I've been shot at, stabbed, nearly burned alive, beaten up, and almost been crushed by a road roller!"

"Sweet Celestia, how are you still alive?!"

"I've been asking that question myself everyday, enough chit chat, drive!"

Meanwhile on the stands, seeing the large plants coming out of nowhere, the crowd panicked as they tried to escape! Joseph protected Suzi Q from harm as many people all around moved everywhere!

"Damn it! What the hell is going on?! What are these things?!"

"What are we going to do?" Asked Suzi Q as she started to panic as well.

Having no choice, Joseph picked up his wife and started to shove people out of the way. It may seem crude, but she is his top priority to keep her safe before he could do anything. As he finally found a safe spot, he turned to Suzi Q and said.

"Stay here and don't do anything rash! I have to find Jotaro, and together we might have a chance to stop this mess!"

"Please be careful!"

"Don't worry! If anything happens, I'll use my secret technique!"

With that, Joseph left. Returning to the danger as he did what he can to get these people to a safe distance.

"Come everyone! Move it! If you don't want to die, then run! Don't make things worse than it is already!"

As the people started to get to safety, it gave Joseph the chance to get back in the field and find Jotaro! Jumping over the fence, he began looking for anymore people who were left behind, then he saw a familiar face. It was Jotaro's friend, Twilight! Her leg was entangled by one the vines from the plant monster! And somehow a small dog was helping her escape, but it was not enough.

Joseph quickly ran towards the two and shouted.

"Hermit Purple!"

Purple thorny vines from Joseph's hand came out and grabbed onto Twilight and the dog, with all his might he pulled them away from the large vines. Now safe from harm's way, Twilight said.

"Thank you Mr. Joestar, I don't know how you did it!"

"Don't worry about it, right now we have to stop these things from doing anymore damage!"

"I know how we can stop it, we have to my device and close it! It's the only way to stop this madness!"

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

Suddenly, more veins appeared from another portal and it looked hungry!

"Uh...Mr. Joestar? I don't suppose you can save us like you did earlier?"

"It doesn't seem that way, I don't think my abilities can fight these things head on! Not even Hamon can stop them!"

"Then what are we going to do?!"

Joseph closed his eyes and replies.

"We have one option left, it's a technique that'll work. It's the only way if we can get out of this! If it works, then we can find that device of yours."

"What is it?"

Hearing footsteps, Twilight turned around and saw Joseph running as he screamed.

"RUN AWAY!!!"

"Seriously?! That's your secret technique?!"

"Um, Twilight?" Said Spike as he whimpered in fear. "I think that old man has a point!"

Looking back, more portals appeared and another batch of plants came out and looked very hungry.

*Gulp*

Twilight grabbed Spike and ran away from the area.

"Wait for me Mr. Joestar!"

Back with Jotaro, and Sunset, both were handing the situation well so far. As the plants attacked, Star Platinum was able to punch and smack them away. Rainbow Dash flew around the field aiding the two as she tackled the other remain plants as her magic gave some protection. Seeing another plant about to attack Sunset, Jotaro, and Indigo Zap behind them, Rainbow Dash flew towards the monster to stop it. As she came close to it.

"Ora!"

The creature was smacked back by Star Platinum! The flying teenager gave an attitude towards Jotaro.

"Hey! I had that one!"

"Too slow!"

"Grrrr!"

"Come on you two!" Scold Sunset. "This isn't the time to show off! We're in this together if we want to get through this!"

"But-"

"You heard her, stop goofing around that magic of yours and get serious!"

"Whatever."

Focusing back on the situation, Jotaro looked back at Sunset.

"At this rate, we're never gonna stop these things! Where's Twilight!"

"Waaaah!"

Looking to where the scream came from, both saw Twilight, holding a dog, and Joseph running away from more plant monsters!

"Found them!"

"Good grief, guess this is my stop."

"Wait your not thinking of jumping off aren't you?!"

"There's no time to stop! Look, it may not matter to you, but Cinch cares about the games more than anything else right now! So if you win this, then I'll feel a lot better seeing her upset."

"What does that mean?"

"Let's just say she pissed off the wrong person, now go!"

Jumping off the bike, Jotaro rolled on the ground and quickly got back on his feet as he ran towards Twilight and Joseph.

Still running from the large plants, Twilight and Joseph couldn't get away from these things! They need to find that device now!

"Wah!"

Twilight tripped onto the ground as Spike rolled away, Joseph turned and saw her fall down!

"Twilight!"

Seeing a shadow over her, she turned around as the plants ready to devour their lunch!"

"AAHHHHH" Screamed Twilight as she closed her eyes as she didn't want to see it coming. She hoped it would be quick…

"TWILIGHT!!!!" Spike yelled as he was helpless to do anything!

And then…

"Star Platinum! The world!"

Everything moved slowly and turned grey, Joseph attempted to use purple hermit, and Spike looked in horror, while Twilight looked away as the plants attacked. And then, all around had stopped.

Except one person.

"Good Grief, this is the third time I had to save your ass. Seriously, this better not become a habit." Jotaro said as he casually walked into the scene. He looked at his hand. "Look like it worked, I can stop time just like Dio. But for how long? Let's find out then!"

Star Platinum appears right next to him and began the attack!

"Ora! Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora!"

The powerful punches connected to each and every single plant within its range. While the attacks looks like it's doing nothing much at the moment, the impacts are very devastating!

Feeling he's at his limit, Jotaro finished his attack and said.

"Time resumes once more…"

*Splat*

*Crunch*

The Plants screeched in pain as all at the sametime exploded into chunks and fell down dead.

Seeing the results of his attack, Jotaro thought to himself.

("Five seconds, that's my limit. Good enough for now. Still, it needs improvement if it's possible. Dio was able to stop time longer as he continued to use it during our fight, so I should be able to increase my limit to its maximum potential! I'll need to work on that.")

Hearing the screeches, Twilight opened her eyes and looked behind her. Jotaro was there! And the plants, their dead! How?! Where did he come from?!

Seeing his grandson appear at an instant, Joseph was relieved that Jotaro made it in time to save Twilight from a cruel death. Even Spike was happy to see her safe!

"Alright Jotaro! Way to go! You sure showed those things whose boss!"

"Huh?!"

"Hmm?"

Joseph and Spike made eye contact as the old man was shocked, did that dog just talk?!

"What? Do I have something on my face?"

"...Ho-Holy shit! A talking dog!"

"Yeah so what? I can talk, what's weird about it? I think it's cool!"

"Uh...sorry, it's just...I've seen a lot of weird things in my life. I've fought Vampires, Zombies, mind controlled victims, pillar men, and more! A talking dog is a new one to me!"

"Wow! Sound like you've had it rough?"

"You have no idea."

Back with Jotaro, Twilight was speechless as how did Jotaro appeared from nowhere! It's impossible for someone like him to move that fast! Or perhaps it was a miracle. But what about the plants? How did they explode?! He didn't have a weapon a on him! Either way, she is safe!

"Thanks for the save Jotaro! I thought I was a goner for sure!"

"Don't mention it, now come on! We have to find that device of yours!"

"Right, and I know where it is!"

After finding the device and closing it, all the portals and plants disappeared. The nightmare is over. As for the games, Canterlot was declared the winner of the race. An announcement was made to the people to meet in the gym and wait until further notice, thankfully nobody was hurt during the incident.

Sunset, Jotaro, and the others met each other to discuss what happened.

"Is everyone alright?" Asked Applejack.

"Better than alright, we won!" Replied Rainbow Dash as she landed next to the others.

Taking off her gear, Sunset countered.

"Yeah we won, but somebody could've been seriously hurt! Or worse! The magic is going haywire! Where's Twilight!"

"Um...I'm right here."

Seeing Twilight made Sunset angry as she started marching towards her, but Jotaro got in the way before she could do anything! Getting the message instantly, she took a deep breath and said.

"You've got a lot of explaining to do!"

"I know" said Twilight as she looked nervous. "I didn't mean for any of this to happen, I just wanted to learn about the magical energy come from your school. I didn't know how it works or how dangerous it can be!"

Feeling sympathy, Rainbow Dash walked to Twilight and replied.

"That's ok, neither do we! So it's all good, at least nobody got hurt!"

"Oh no! No no no! Not again!"

The device on Twilight's neck acted up again as it floated and opened by itself! She tried to pull it away but it was too late! It began absorbing the magical energy from Rainbow Dash as her pony features disappears!

The others went to help, but Joseph held out his arm and said.

"Don't get any closer! Who know else that thing can do!"

Still struggling to close it, Twilight apologized.

"I'm sorry, it's just started acting on its own! I have no control over at all! I'm not sure how it's doing it!"

"What do you mean you don't know how?!" Yelled Sunset as she walked to Twilight and helped her to close the device.

A spark escaped from it and shot into the sky as another portal opened! Only this time, it was another sky, and it was nighttime! Everyone witnessing it were shocked as it opened to another dimension! But to where?!

"My device is causing these rifts to appear, I don't know how that works either!"

Now at her limit, Sunset bursted out in anger.

"Is there anything you do know?! Like getting our magic back? Or how to fix the portal to Equestria?"

"Equestria? What are you talking about?"

"You're supposed to be so goddamn smart, but did you ever think you shouldn't be messing around with things you don't fucking understand?!"

As they Successfully closed the device, the portal closed. Everything was back to normal again. Twilight looked back to Sunset.

"But I want to understand! Think of the possibilities that magic can help people!"

"No! Equestrian magic is too dangerous in this world if fallen into the wrong hands! I've experienced it! I became something that nearly killed my friends because of my greed! You however, put the lives of everyone here in danger because of your curiosity!"

"I'm...I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean to…"

Twilight didn't say another word as she ran away crying while Spike ran after her. She didn't mean for any of this to happen! She didn't want anyone getting hurt because of her!

"Twilight!" Shouted Jotaro seeing Twilight running away in tears. He then turned to Sunset in anger as Star Platinum appeared next to him! "You fucking bitch!"

"Jotaro! Stand down! Fighting won't solve anything!" Joseph yelled as he stood in front of his grandson.

"Get out of my way old man!"

"ENOUGH! The damage is done already, give Twilight sometime by herself. She has a lot going on in her mind, in the meantime..." Joseph turned to Sunset and her friends. "You six owe us an explanation of what the hell is going on here!"

"You wouldn't believe us sir," Said Sunset as she felt terrible verbally hurting Twilight like that. "It wouldn't make sense to you."

"Try me, both me and Jotaro have been through things you kids wouldn't possibly believe or understand! So like I said, try me."

Unknown to the group, a certain Principle was listening to everything that was said.

Cinch smiled, this 'magic' sounded useful! If they can use it to their advantage,then Crystal Prep's victory is in their grasp…
