Once satisfied with their work, the stagehands left so the cameras could start rolling. Mere seconds after the cameras turned on, the loud voice of the announcer cut through the murmuring of the studio audience. "Weeeeeeeeelcome to The Vore Connection, where we match a prey with a potential pred for life!" exclaimed the disembodied voice of the game show's announcer from. "Now, heeeeeere's your host, Steel Stud!" At the announcer's cue, a charismatic earth pony with a white coat and silver mane walked out from behind the set. He flashed a big smile and waved to the cameras as the audience applauded. "Hello and welcome to Equestria's favorite game show, The Pred Dating Game!" introduced the host. "I'm your host and matchmaker Steel Stud." Steel turned his gaze to the obscured mare and gestured to the silhouette. "Now, let's welcome our very special prey contestant." Silver pulled out a small card and began reading from it. "Our prey today is a very special guest,” he began. “She describes herself as a nerdy, introverted, lover of books. She’s saved Equestria on multiple occasions… Hailing all the way from Ponyville, let's give it up for the princess of friendship herself! Say hello to the one and only…” He paused to build up tension. “Twilight Sparkle!" No sooner had her name been spoken the lights around her turned on at full brightness. Now no longer obscured in the shadows the crowd could see her clearly. The crowd went nuts. There were screams of recognition, thunderous applause and a few surprised gasps mixed in. THE Princess of Friendship, prey? Steel let the crowd go on for only a short while before taking back control of the show. "So, Twilight Sparkle. Princess of Friendship and multiple time savior of Equestria. Please tell us and the surprised studio audience what brings you on the show today. " Twilight paused briefly and took in all the ponies watching her. "Well, Steel, as you know I spend most of my time reading books or saving Equestria. But even princesses have their own baser needs. Being the one in charge is fine and all, but sometimes I’d rather be on the other side,” explained Twilight. “But reading and saving the world tend to limit my downtime. So naturally, my free time to find a nice pred is, well, quite limited. Besides, I'd prefer staying in the library in my free time over anything else, anyway.” Steel gave a knowing nod as a cheeky smile formed on his face. Did you have a good nap?” Steel held up a hoof to stop her answer. “No need to say anything, the studio audience and the viewers at home got a good look at you sleeping off your meal. Anyway, it appears that you were successful in getting Twilight to your belly,” he continued, not giving Trixie any time to respond. “But everypony here in the audience and watching at home want to know… what fate have you decided?
