The wind blowing his mane across his face as he studied Ponyville, He wished that he could go back in time and change what happened, stopping Celestia from ever starting the war. But what’s done is done and you can’t reverse what had happened. He had asked Clock Star if she could take him back, when everything was normal and keep it there, but according to her, the past was locked in place, never to be touched again. Nothing was ever normal for Cyber Burst. He looked back at what had happened and cried. There were things he wanted to take back, things he wanted to fix, but couldn’t. He did have Silverbolt, but he could only see what had happened before and not be able to change anything. The world was an ass that way. “...What are we doing here, Cyburst...?” Phoenix asked, using Cyburst’s voice, “...I thought you swore you’d never come here again...” “SHUT UP PHOENIX!” Cyburst yelled. clearly, he didn’t want to be bothered. “...Cyburst?...” Phoenix called, “I THOUGHT I SAID SHUT UP!” Cyburst yelled again, “... Cyburst there’s-...” Phoenix said, “I SAID SHUT THE FU-” Cyburst tried to say, “CYBURST! THERE’S SOMEPONY OVER THERE” Phoenix yelled back, “Oh, sorry.” Cyburst said. he never had gotten this angry, not with phoenix anyways. Cyburst looked in the direction of the way Phoenix showed him. He was right. there was somepony else. Cyburst couldn’t help but think he had seen him before, a black coat, purple eyes, a purple and black mane... Wait, that wasn’t possible. He was dead. I saw him get killed. “Phoenix, 50% RELEASE!” Cyburst shouted, the strain of this release didn’t even phase Cyburst anymore. the pain didn’t even compare to what he felt after, after THAT happened. Cyburst flew towards the pony, he could clearly see that it was a pegasus now, even at the speed he was going. He didn’t care how many bones he broke. It wasn’t like they would stay that way anyway. He slammed right into the imposter. Breaking two of his own ribs. Mirage felt an intense pain on his right side, he realized he was falling, right off of the perch he was on, he looked to the source of the pain and saw a red and yellow mane smashing into his side, the pony felt like a train that was at full speed, it hurt bad, but it wasn’t enough. Mirage grabbed the pony’s head and smashed it into the dirt just before they hit, allowing Mirage to use the pony’s back like a cushion, which he quickly hopped off of, he turned around and noticed the large sword on his back, he sniffed the air... silver. Cyburst couldn’t see anything, but he could feel the imposter landing on his back and quickly jumping off. He didn’t think that the pony knew he had claws and talons on both feet. he flailed his claws with all his might, and giving that imposter a gash to remember him by before he pulled his head out of the ground and launching himself on top of the imposter. “WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?!” Cyburst yelled “AND DON’T YOU SAY MIRAGE BECAUSE I SAW HIM DIE! “You saw me die?” Mirage asked, he was confused by the whole situation, he began licking the cut on his left side, “That really hurt you know” Cyburst noticed the gash had become smaller. It was healing to fast for any regular pony. Humph, vampony. “WELL THIS IS FANTASTIC” Cyburst yelled “YOU EVEN KNEW HE WAS A VAMPONY” “Why are you yelling?” Mirage asked, lapping the blood from his muzzle, “And why are you referring to me as ‘he’?” “Don’t give me that crap” Cyburst said, finally calming down, “Unless?” “Look pal, I don’t want any trouble” He was eyeing that silver sword on the pony’s back, and began to sweat, “Don’t you dare move.” Cyburst said, reverting to his normal self,“I’ll be back in 5 seconds” “You’re just gonna let me stand here?” Mirage asked, “Don’t worry if you run, I’ll find you.” Cyburst said, smiling a wicked grin. Cyburst teleported to the grave of Mirage, not to his surprise, some things had changed. For one, the black rose he had placed in front of the gravestone had disappeared, and another thing was that the ground had recently been upturned, Which revealed a wooden crate. “Mirage, if you’re still in there, I’m sorry” Cyburst said as he smashed the crate open, finding that nothing remained except for a hatch. Only one thing remained in the crate, in a small hatch in the side, it was a small switchblade, engraved in an unreadable fashion, it had been worn over time. Cyburst pick up the switchblade and teleported to the only pony he could think of, the imposter. A flash of light appeared in front of Mirage, shortly after the pony was there, standing before him with something in his hoof. Cyburst threw the switchblade to the ground in front of the imposter. “I will believe you are the real Mirage” Cyburst said, “If you can tell me what that said” “Why should I?” Mirage asked, “It’s personal!” “Because if you don’t,” Cyburst said, pulling out Silverbolt, “I’ll cut you down the middle and you won’t be able to recover.” Mirage’s ears pounded, he knew EXACTLY what the words said, but why would this pony want to know? “Why do you need to know exactly?” Mirage asked, Cyburst brought Silverbolt up and swung it down, just to stop only inches away from this imposter’s face. seeing if that did the trick. “Oh, big mistake” Mirage mumbled, sending a wave of electrical energy through the sword’s blade, shocking the pony’s hoof rather violently, “Now tell me why!” He shouted, Cyburst was shocked, mentally and physically, from what had just happened. he knew he should have put on the rubber hilt. “Okay,you could also do that.” Cyburst said after coughing up some blood. “I’m sorry for doubting you. I just had to make sure you’re the real Mirage” “Well does that answer your question?” Mirage asked, he was getting irritated, “Yes, that does,” Cyburst said, “Only one pony in the world has the element of electricity” “I’m still not going to read this” Mirage snorted, picking up the knife with his wing and tucking it safely under it. “You don’t need to if you don’t want to” Cyburst said, softening his tone ”that was only to make sure you were the real Mirage.” “Who are you?” Mirage asked, putting his angry side away. “Oh, sorry for not introducing myself sooner” Cyburst cleared his throat and spoke up, “My name is Cyber burst, or Cyburst for short.” Mirage extended a hoof in his direction, “Nice to meet you, Cyber Burst, I think you already know my name.” Cyburst extended his hoof, and got a small electric shock. That was getting annoying. “Oh, sorry about that” Mirage said, quickly drawing his hoof away and giving a smirk, he had meant to do that, best joke ever. “It won’t cause any REAL damage, anyway” Cyburst said, “If you couldn’t already tell.” “How’s that?” Mirage asked, raising an eyebrow, “It’s a long story, basically, I have a electronic phoenix living inside my brain” Cyburst said, Phoenix then took over in his deeper voice“I’m not just any Phoenix, I’m the great Cybeast, Falzar!” Mirage blinked, that was quite confusing, it almost compelled him to attack, it sounded like he was talking to Black Mirage again. The Idiots“INCOMING!!!” A voice shouted from above, Cyburst reflexively teleported six feet to the left, and drew Silverbolt again. Mirage was not so lucky, he was hit directly by the dropping diamond dog, knocking him into the dirt along with the gargantuan dog, The Dog jumped up quickly and looked up from where he had come from, where a griffin was laughing and doing backflips in mid-air “Honeydew! you asshole!” The dog shouted to the griffin, “You dropped me!” “I didn’t drop you, I threw you at the ground” ‘Honeydew’ continued to laugh, “You made me hit somepony!” The dog said, Cyburst made a force shield right above the griffin and smashed it into him, sending it to the ground. The griffin quickly hopped up and brushed the feathers on his head, “Is that how you greet everypony?” He asked, turning to Cyburst and glaring daggers, “No, only the ones who threaten the existence of friends.” Cyburst said “I wasn’t threatening anypony!” He said, “Why don’t we ask the pony who got hurt.” Cyburst asked “Mirage?” Mirage slowly got to his hooves, his eyes boggled inside of his head until he shook his head and closed his eyes, “You did drop a diamond dog on me” He said, opening his eyes and looking at the griffin, “Oh, my bad” The griffin said, walking towards Mirage, “Ugh, hate griffins,” Cyburst said, sheathing Silverbolt, “They never pay attention.” “That’s not true!” The griffin said, turning around to look at the Ponyville that wasn’t theirs, “What happened in the past ten seconds?!” It screeched, “You threw a diamond dog into my friend, not realizing that he was even there” Cyburst yelled “Thanks smartass” He said, “Who is your friend?” It asked, looking around until his eyes met Mirage’s, “MIRAGE?!” It yelled, “How do you know my name?” Mirage asked, “I wrote about you!” The griffin said, “So does that mean...?” The griffin turned around, looking at the destroyed Ponyville, “Oh no...” “What, did you also forget that Ponyville was destroyed too?” Cyburst asked sarcastically “Ponyville isn’t destroyed! Not in our world!” The griffin shouted, “What do you mean your world,” Cyburst said “Do you mean you’re not from this Country?” “Essentially yes, but no, we do live in Equestria” It squawked, “You’re fanfiction!” the diamond dog said, “What is that supposed to mean?” Mirage asked, “What’s the last thing you remember Jax?” The griffin asked the diamond dog, “Twilight was testing a spell on us, then we flew out of range and you wanted to go to Canterlot” ‘Jax’ said, “So, we’re in a different dimension?” The griffin asked, “I think so” The diamond dog said, The two looked at each other and then back at the ponies that stood before them, “High five!” The griffin shouted, “I only have four fingers” The diamond dog mumbled, The griffin examined his claws and smiled sheepishly, “High four?” it asked, holding up its claws, They slapped their hands together and looked back at the two ponies, “Who exactly are you two jokers?” Mirage asked, “This is nothing to joke about, other ponies died!” “Oh, sorry” The griffin said, “I’m Honeydew” “And I’m Jax” The diamond dog said, Jax extended his paw towards Cyburst, “DON’T YOU DARE TOUCH ME YOU FILTHY MUTT .” Cyburst screamed, slapping the paw away, “Wow, Cyburst is a bigger asshole than I Imagined” Jax said, he didn’t know what he had done. Cyburst started to remember everything that had happened. He couldn’t bear it. He teleported back to the graveyard and began to walk, carving a path through the overgrown brush, he knew exactly what he was heading to, he thought about good memories, the few that he still had, He thought about Candy Corn, Quiet Harp, His mother, the rest of his family, and everypony else he lost, there were so many... it hurt him to kneel next to the gravestones, it hurt him to cry his eyes out over his wife and daughter’s grave, it hurt him to get up and leave another black rose, next to all of the dead ones, it was always like he had some on him, he never knew when he needed to come to this place again. ‘...Cyburst, you can’t keep doing this,’ Phoenix thought, ‘it will eventually kill you...’ “you know that can’t happen...” Cyburst whispered, “I can’t die...” “...But you can live on...” Phoenix said, “..with their memories...” “...You’re right..” Cyburst said, “What’s done is done, and I can’t change that. Even if I am immortal...” Finding new strength, Cyburst went back to Mirage’s gravestone “50%, RELEASE” Cyburst said, feeling the power flow “Where are we going?” Phoenix asked. “Canterlot,” Cyburst said, grinning, “At mach 2” Cyburst heard the sonic boom but he didn’t care. they wouldn’t see him until he was upon them. Mirage looked around for Cyburst, trying to find any sight of the pony, nothing. He had vanished into thin air and gone somewhere out of sight. Mirage sniffed the air, trying to find his scent, all he could smell was the diamond dog, Jax. “Can you still do all of the electricity?” Jax asked, Mirage sent a visible visible tremor of electricity across his coat, ruffling it a bit, “Does that answer your question mutt?” Mirage asked, “Okay, I’m being quite an asshole” Honeydew said, “You’re not me!” Mirage reminded him, he was a real bird brain, “Stop calling me a mutt!” Jax barked, “You’re a diamond dog!” Mirage shouted, “Wow, I’m racist too” Honeydew said, “Shut up bird!” Mirage yelled, he was going to lash out on the two, “That’s another thing, I have a name you know” Honeydew said, “Shut up. Honeydew” Mirage said, grinding his teeth, “Rude” Honeydew said, taking flight and looking around, “Damn I put shit into good detail” “What is with your over excessive cursing?” Mirage asked, “Just saying” Honeydew said, shrugging, “What’s that?” “What’s what?” Mirage asked, it was like talking to kids, “That... thing-” Honeydew was cut off by a familiar red pony slamming into him, rocketing him into the ground at least a few hooves down, “Now I feel bad for Mirage” Honeydew said woozily, The Power Of The PhoenixCyber Burst stood up and walked out of the hole, dusting himself off in a ‘no big deal’ fashion, “A party? Without me?” Cyburst said, He seemed to be in a better mood, “You should be ashamed with yourselves” “Cyburst! don’t give these two idiots any ideas!” Mirage said, “Too late!” Cyburst said as the sound of his approach finally caught up with him. “A party? good idea!” A pink pony seemed to come out from under Honeydew, launching him into the air and back onto the ground, “SWEET PONY JESUS!” Cyburst said, falling backwards “Did I surprise you?” Pinkie Pie asked, hopping out of the ground and walking over to Cyburst, “Yes, yes you did Pinkie Pie” Cyburst said as he facehoofed, leaving large claw marks in his face “Bad idea” Mirage swallowed hard, the sight of somepony’s blood made him lick his lips and get in a pouncing position. Cyburst always was prepared for any vampony attack, taking out Silverbolt and reverting back. Cyburst was suddenly locked in place, Mirage’s powers had stunned his body and he was unable to move, not that he needed to, Mirage looked like he was battling with himself his body twitched and one of his eyes turned to a deep crimson, Cyburst was about to use his magic to put up a force shield when Pinkie Pie hopped happily over to Mirage shoving a red cupcake into his mouth, it had been soaked with blood, “That did not just happen” Honeydew said, he began to whisper to Jax, “Don’t worry! it’s only fake blood!” Pinkie exclaimed, Mirage looked pissed, he hated the fake taste, but it still worked on him quite well, “Um, Cyburst?” Mirage asked, “Yes?” Cyburst asked, finally able to move again. “Can I just have a little bit?” Mirage asked, making his eyes big, “NO! Phoenix blood is sacred.” Cyburst yelled “Only few ever see it, let alone taste it.” Mirage lunged at Cyburst like a bat out of hell, latching onto the shield and trying to bite it, never doing any damage, “Let me in!” Mirage growled, “I don’t think you want to.” Cyburst said, teasing Mirage Mirage let out a demonic roar, electrocuting the magical barrier that held Cyber Burst, “You’re not going to get anywhere like that,” Cyburst said, Levitating with magic. “My wounds have already healed anyway.” “Doesn’t mean that I can’t bite through your skin you maggot!” Mirage roared, it wasn’t really him doing much of the talking anymore. “Hmm, you want in so bad, fine” Cyburst said as he put the force shield around Mirage instead, knowing what was happening. Mirage’s pupils shrank, he looked at the ‘bubble’ around him, his eyes turned into a glowing red, along with his tail, mane and hooves, he pounded on the bubble, shattering it in one blow, “dang, I was hoping I could keep him in there until he fainted,” Cyburst said “Doesn’t mean I can’t do it again.” Mirage stared at Cyburst for a few seconds, never blinking, black electricity cascaded through his veins, breaking all of his sanity and replacing it with rage. Mirage grabbed Cyburst and began to fly up, Cyburst easily teleported back down to the to “Idiots.” “Don’t let him catch you” Honeydew said, hiding under a nearby rock, Mirage roared in anger and shot back down towards Cyburst, gripping his horn and shocking it, draining any kind of magical energy from his body, then he grabbed him by the back of the neck and took off towards Canterlot, “Buck this, have a present.” Cyburst said as he smashed a large bottle of garlic water over “Mirage’s” head. The garlic evaporated within seconds, the amount of heat coming off his body was overwhelming and the speed felt like it could break bones, Mirage sped up even more, never looking down to Cyburst, Suddenly Cyburst had an idea. “Hey, Leech!” Cyburst said, “Why don’t you go back to the lake you came out of!” Mirage looked down at Cyburst with a smile on his face, “Why don’t you get back to the castle” Mirage said, “Because it’s right in front of you.” Cyburst said, grinning again, Mirage laughed, “That’s the whole point” he said, Before Cyburst could answer Mirage threw him through the wall of the castle, causing wood to splinter all around him, rocks jammed through his skin and the marble walls almost broke bones, almost a second after smashing through the castle he connected with the floor of one of the rooms inside of the castle, Mirage flew in a few seconds after, smiling triumphantly “Ain’t even mad.” Cyburst said, wounds quickly healing, Mirage stared Cyber Burst down, sending a generous bolt of electricity at him every so often, “Why *zap* didn’t I *zap* bring *zap* a *zap* Lightning Rod.” Cyburst said in between shocks of electricity. “I don’t know, why didn’t you?” Mirage asked, “Oh, come on. You know that was rhetorical.” Cyburst said, still grinning. “So?” Mirage asked, “It’s fun to talk to you” “Oh, why thank you.” Cyburst said. Mirage lunged at Cyburst again, baring his fangs and hissing loudly, “Eat rock.” Cyburst said as he threw a large piece of castle at Mirage, and jumping out of the way. Mirage bit down on the rock and lost his balance, falling over onto his side, “How embarrassing” Mirage said getting up, Mirage began to trot slowly towards Cyburst, his head snapping back and forth every few seconds, Mirage bowed down and growled, like he was trying to stop, “Cyburst!” Mirage’s voice yelped, “Get back!” Mirage snapped his head again and laughed, “DIE MAGGOT!!!” He shouted, “You’re forgetting something,” Cyburst said “I CAN’T.” Mirage slammed himself into a wall, electrical energy surged up it, dropping worn pictures and paintings off of the wall, next he dove into a bathroom, he spun the faucet handle and turned the water on, splashing himself with it, his color started to return, He ran back out to Cyburst and spoke quickly, “D-do you have any G-garlic?” he stammered, “Maybe.” Cyburst said, throwing a large bottle he kept at all times to Mirage. Mirage unscrewed the bottle cap and stared inside of the bottle, his snout crinkled and he closed his eyes, “This is going to suck for me” Mirage said, as he put the bottle to his lips, downing almost half of the drink, Mirage began to topple over and eventually fell, “What is going on in here?!” A feminine voice asked in a shocked voice. “Oh, good.” Cyburst said, thinking he knew who it was. “I was afraid that I would have to blow myself up.” he said, looking towards the voice, Mirage stood before him, changed, but still Mirage. MiaCyburst was shocked, but not surprised, with beings from who-knows-where coming, it doesn’t seem that surprising that there is two Mirages. “Well, t-this is... interesting.” Cyburst stammered. “When did you get here?” “Who are you?” The other Mirage asked, the voice sounded like what a mare would have, “What happened to the castle?” “This Mirage happened,” Cyburst said, gesturing behind him “I’m Cyber Burst, but you can call me Cyburst.” “Who is that?” She asked, pointing her hoof to Mirage, “and why are you calling him by MY name?” “How about you go over and check.” Cyburst said, “It probably make more sense.” The identically colored mare trotted over to Mirage slowly, unsure by the whole situation, her hooves clicked on the floor beneath her, when she reached Mirage she poked him with her hoof, like he was some kind of dead animal, “Huh? what?” Mirage mumbled, his eyes flicked open and met the mare’s, who was studying him like a book, “Well this is interesting...” “Oh, come on, couldn’t you think of anything better.” Cyburst said. “you stole my line.” The mare jumped back and narrowed her eyes, “Who are you?” She asked, “My name is Mirage” Mirage said, “But that’s my name!” The mare said, “No, not many ponies are named ‘Mirage’ and are colored like me” Mirage said, “We look almost exactly the same!” the mare argued, “So! that doesn’t mean you can do this” Mirage said, getting to his feet and sending a bolt of lightning towards the wall, “How’d you do that?” the mare asked, “I’m the only one who can do that” Mirage said, smiling triumphantly, The mare she a bolt of lightning in Mirage’s direction striking him on the flank, “Fine, everyone’s just going to ignore me” Cyburst said as he sat on the ground. “Ouch! what the hell?” Mirage said, “Ha! what now?” The other Mirage said, “How’d you do that?” Mirage asked, Mirage noticed that they even talked the same, “None of your business!” The mare shouted, “What is your name?” Mirage asked, “Mirage, but my friends call me Mia” She said, “Alright who is the real Mirage?” Cyburst asked, “I am!” They shouted at Cyburst in unison, “No, I am!” Mirage said, “I am” Mia said, “I am!” “I am!” “I am!” “You are!” Mia changed, “You are!” Mirage shouted, “You are!” “You are an there is nothing you can say to deny it!” Mirage said, not realizing he’d been tricked, “Okay, I am” Mia said, turning around and slapping him with her tail, then slowly trotting over to Cyber Burst, “With everything that’s going on right now,” Cyburst said to the incoming mare, “It isn’t hard to believe that you are BOTH the real Mirage.” “How about we all go outside and talk to those... things outside.” Cyburst said. “you ready Phoenix?” “Ready as I’ll ever be.” Phoenix said in response. “Ok, FIFTY PERCENT, RELEASE!” Cyburst and Phoenix said harmoniously. Cyburst went through his usual change and flew through the hole he’d gone through on the way in. he hovered outside for the two Mirages Mirage and Mia both flew through the large hole in the castle and met up with Cyburst, “Did you just talk to yourself?” Mia asked, “It’s just his thing” Mirage said, “I was talking to Phoenix.” Cyburst said, “He’s a Cybeast that is... living with me.” “Uh... okaaaaay” Mia said, chuckling, “Where are we going?” Mirage asked, “To those bozos who did nothing but stare when we were fighting.” Cyburst said. “Okay then, race you there Mia” Mirage challenged, flapping his wings for good measure, “I don’t even know where we’re going, but okay” Mia said, Mirage took off and Mia followed quickly behind, each of them breaking the sound barrier in under two seconds, “Oh, goodie,” Cyburst said as he caught up to the two, “I’m not the only one.” Mia’s wings were beginning to tire after a few miles, as were Mirage’s but they began to push themselves to the limit and break the sound barrier yet again, leaving a trail of electricity in their wake, shocking any electrical components they passed, Mia turned to look to her right, where Mirage was falling behind, she laughed triumphantly, thinking she was going to win. Mirage got directly behind Mia, absorbing her electrical power trail, charging his body and rejuvenating his wings, letting him speed right by. Mia was shocked, nopony had ever beaten her except for Spitfire and Soarin, she began to think about the two, what they had done together, the struggles that she had with Spitfire, how Soarin was almost killed. Mia filled with anger, she hated the landscape around her, it looked war torn and destroyed, she began to wonder how she had gotten in this place, just a few minutes ago she was walking through the doors to meet Celestia, but instead she had met the stallion version of herself. Mia changed into a Lycan quickly, grabbing Mirage by the tail as they flew at incredible speeds, dragging him into the ground, slamming them into various buildings and obstacles. “I believe that counts as cheating, Mia.” Cyburst said, pouting. Mia pinned Mirage to the ground, still in Lycan form, using enough force to break his bones as she pushed his legs into the ground, “How did I get here?!” Mia growled, her voice becoming deeper and more aggressive, “Y-you’re a W-werewolf?!” Mirage stammered, baring his fangs and hissing, “Answer my question!” Mia growled, still crushing him into the ground Cyburst hauled Mia off of Mirage. “Okay, stop.” Cybust said when they finally came to a stop. “We don’t know how you got here.” Mia snarled at Cyburst, baring her large canines at him, “Then how am I me and he is me?” Mia asked, “How are you me and I am me?” Mirage asked, trying to recover, “You’re asking the right questions to the wrong ponies” Cyburst said. “We don’t know!” “Stop with the quotes Da Vinci!” Mia said, “I’m already sick of both of you!” “You’re sick of yourself?” Mirage snickered, “He’s got you there.” Cyburst said as he chuckled. “Shut up!” Mia yelped, changing back to her original form, All of the sudden, fire streaked through the sky, lighting it up like the sun was out, A pony landed in front of the two, his mane and tail was on fire, his eyes burned with a firey orange. “Aero! thank Celestia you are here!” Mia said, Cyburst winced at the word Celestia “Mirage? what happened to your mane? and why would you say ‘Celestia’?” Aero asked, “What happened to your voice?” Mia asked, “You sound like a stallion!” “I am a stallion” Aero said, “You sound like a mare” “Okay this is perfect.” Cyburst said, laughing his head off “Aero, meet Mia, Mirage’s MARE counterpart.” “And may I ask, how YOU know my name?” Aero asked, his wings flaring up with aggression, “Two reasons,” Cyburst said, holding up two claws, “One, Mia just called you that, and two, I know all the names of the Elemental Six.” “Now give me two reasons why I shouldn’t kick your ass, Mia’” Aero said, Mia held up a hoof, “One, because stallions don’t hit mares” She said, changing hooves, “And two because you couldn’t” “Bad second reason,” Cyburst said. “So everyone is gonna stand there and not help me up?” Mirage called from the position he was laying in, The earth from under Mirage began to shake and he was lifted up by it, revealing a brown and forest green pony, “Thanks Gaia” Mirage said, “No problem Mirage” Gaia said, “Gaia?” Mia said, “Your a mare!” “You’d think she’d have caught on by now,” Cyburst said. Mia looked at Gaia then to Aero, then back to Mirage. “What is this tom foolery?!” She screamed, darting across the sky and going out of sight. “That was interesting...” Gaia said, “What is it with ponies and stealing my lines!” Cyburst yelled. “Well apparently she is from some other world where we are all reverse genders” Mirage said, laughing to himself, “What do they call that place?” Aero asked, “Crazy town?” “Well she can replicate my powers, so I don’t think so” Mirage said, “Why is everyone ignoring me?!” Cyburst yelled, “It’s not like I’m invisible, which I can become.” Aero began to look around in the air, confusing the others as to what he was looking for. “What are you doing?” Gaia asked, “He’s not usually this slow” Aero said, flapping his wings and going up in the sky, checking the sides around him, “Who are you talking about?” Mirage asked, meeting him in the sky, “Well, follow me and we can probably meet him halfway” Aero said, taking off from beside Mirage, Mirage looked down towards Gaia and Cyburst, “Can you two keep up with us?” “Is that a question?” Cyburst asked “Because I can. Probably could out fly you.” Cyburst flew to where Aero was and sped up causing a sonic boom. Mirage looked at Gaia, who nodded and smirked. Just as she got in a flying position the ground beneath her rose quickly and launched her across the sky, passing the other two by hundreds of yards. Mirage chuckled and flew after the two, struggling to keep up. “Wait, where am I going?” Cyburst said as he slowed down to meet up with Aero. “Sorry, got caught in the moment.” “You’ll know when you see him” Aero said, trying to catch up to Gaia, who was doing backflips playfully in the air, giggling as she did. “You wanna go, sister?” Cyburst asked Gaia “because I’ll beat you in a race.” Gaia scratched her chin and laughed, “How am I supposed to beat you without wings, silly?” “how are you flying without wings, silly?” Cyburst asked sarcastically Gaia pointed at the ground and brought a pillar of rock up at her feet, launching her further into the sky, “Catapult!” She shouted from the height she was at, “She’s crazy like that” Aero said, “That’s why I like her so much” “oooooOOOOOoooooOO! Aero has a crush on Gaia!” Cyburst said as he chuckled. “Forget crush” Aero said, shooting to the sky towards Gaia, “How are you gonna land babe?” Aero asked, gesturing to the ground, Gaia looked down and smiled sheepishly at the fiery stallion, “Don’t suppose you could catch me could ya?” She asked, “Fine...” Aero said, acting like he didn’t want to, Aero latched onto the mare and regained his speed towards his destination. she positioned herself on his back and wrapped her hooves around his neck to hang on. “Do a barrel roll!” She shouted over the wind, Aero began to spin sideways in the air, making Gaia laugh like a filly. He finally stopped and smiled at his handiwork, he had always had a good time with the playful mare. Mirage finally caught up to Cyburst and watched the two continue with their antics. “I have an idea.” Cyburst said with devilish grin, “Hehehe” Cyburst immediately went invisible, stealthily flying in front of Aero and Gaia. “BOO!” Cyburst said as he became visible in front of the two. Aero and Gaia shrieked in unison, Gaia twisted her arms and sent Aero in a different direction, making him crash into a large Alicorn with a red mane and tail. “By Luna you two!” The Alicorn said, grabbing the two and holding them in place. “Oh, hey Night Flash.” Cyburst said to the Element of spirit. “How’s it hanging?” “Who are you?” Night Flash asked, turning to the pony he had never seen before. “Oh, that would ruin all the fun if I told you my name.” Cyburst said, “What fun?” Night Flash asked, seeing Mirage fly up to them. “The fun of you not knowing my name.” Cyburst said, smiling. “For once in your lives, could you not leave us behind?” A familiar voice asked, A large Griffin holding a Diamond Dog appeared behind the others, It was Honeydew and Jax. “No.” Cyburst said, frowning “we like to leave you behind, especially when you don’t help me when Mirage is trying to kill me.” “Jesus dude, my bad” Honeydew said, “I didn’t think it was that big of a deal” “Not a big deal?” Cyburst said, getting angry with the Griffin, “HE TRIED TO KILL ME.” “Well Damn, get over it” he said narrowing his eyes at the pony, “I don’t even want to talk to you.” Cyburst said, turning away from the tag team of two. “Then why are you?” Honeydew asked, rolling his eyes at the pony, “Blah blah blah, I can’t hear you.” Cyburst said as he cupped his claws over his ears. “Shows how mature you are” Honeydew snickered, “Why can’t the real Cybeast Hunter be here?!” He shouted at the sky. “BUCK YOU!” Cyburst yelled as he turned towards Honeydew and flipped him off. “I thought you couldn’t hear me, little pony” Honeydew smirked at his own remark, as did Gaia. “I’m liking this argument!” Gaia snickered “huuunnnnnnnggggggg!” Cyburst said as he held his head in frustration, “I give up.” And with that, Cyburst let himself fall to the ground. Mirage watched as the pony crashed into the ground and lie there for a few seconds, just before Gaia lifted him up with a pillar of rock. “Didn’t that hurt?” She asked, “Not really” Cyburst said with his eyes half open and a frown on his face. “Oh, well then” She said, watching an electrical beam tear across the sky, “Isn’t that the other Mirage?” she asked, pointing at the beam. “I Believe so.” Cyburst said as he sat up, “I’m going to see what’s up.” Cyburst got up and flew to the streak of lightning and found Mia sitting on the edge of a cliff, staring out into the distance. “So... how do you like it here?” Cyburst said as he sat down next to Mirage’s doppelganger. Mia took a few seconds to answer, but when she did, tears were in her eyes. “I bucking hate it!” She shouted, “Look at my home! look at Equestria! it’s a wasteland!” “But it’s still our home.” Cyburst said, thinking about what he should do. “No it isn’t, it may be yours, but it isn’t mine” She said, “A few hours ago I was kissing Spitfire goodbye” Cyburst started to tear up. “At least you got to say goodbye to your marefriend.” Cyburst whispered, “I didn’t even get to do that.” Mia narrowed her eyes at the pony, she recognized him from somewhere, he looked almost exactly the same as... Cyber Burst. She swung her hoof wildly, striking the pony across the face, she stood up quick and took to the sky, getting a few hooves away from him, “Shut up! you don’t know anything about love! All you do is pry off of other ponies for your own amusement!” She shouted, thinking of Spitfire. “Oh yeah, say that to Candy Corn.” Cyburst whispered as he cried. “Buck You! don’t try that crap on me!” She shouted, “I know what you’re trying to do!” “Oh, you knew that I’ve tried to commit suicide at least a thousand times?” Cyburst yelled at Mia, “Immortality isn’t a blessing, It’s a curse.” Mia huffed and turned away to fly off, “Too bad it didn’t work” she said, taking off and leaving Cyber Burst alone. “Too bad it did work.” Cyburst whispered to himself, “I’m never going to see my Candy again.” Cyburst laid down and looked into the sky, crying his everlasting heart out. Didn’t you get what you wanted?” She asked, remembering what had happened days before she had seen the circle. “What are you talking about?” Cyburst asked, still sniffling “I’m never going to see Candy Corn again.” “But, Blackblood left Ponyville” She said in a confused tone, “And who is Candy Corn?” “Candy Corn is my dead wife, who’s Blackblood?” Cyburst said, calming down. “Blackblood is a Lycan! and since when have you been married?” she asked, “I’ve been married for four years now.” Cyburst said, starting to get confused “I don’t think telling me this Blackblood pony is a Lycan will help me know who he is.” “But... Wha?” Spitfire asked, Cyburst turned around to confront his companion, getting even more confused. “Spitfire? I thought you died during the Equestrian wars. Where have you been?” Cyburst said. “What war? I died? Where did your scar go? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!” She screeched, Cyburst didn’t care what Spitfire would do. He went up and hugged her tightly. “I’m glad that you’re okay. And I’ve never had a scar.” Cyburst said into Spitfire’s ear. Spitfire blushed at the sudden embrace, but didn’t fully realize what was going on yet. “Um... are you okay?” She asked, trying to wiggle away. “Yes, thanks to you.” Cyburst said as he finished the hug and started to redo his mane. “Do you know where Mirage is?” She asked, referring to her marefriend. “Which one? The mare or the stallion.” Cyburst asked, he started to get what had happened. “Uh, the mare?” She said sounding cautious, “That explains some things.” Cyburst said, then got annoyed while remembering what had happened when he had tried to speak to her. “She punched me in the face and flew off.” “That’s not really like her” Spitfire said, “But, considering who you are, or look like. I wouldn’t doubt it.” “Just who do you think I am?” Cyburst said as he half-closed his eyes. “Well, you look almost exactly like the leader of the Silver Swords, Cyber Burst” She explained, “Well, that is my name, but I don’t know what the Silver Swords are.” Cyburst said as he pulled out his silver sword, “All I have is Silverbolt.” Spitfire hissed and backed away from the sword, putting a hoof up and baring her teeth in defence, showing off two sharp fangs. “What? He doesn’t bite... hard.” Cyburst said, grinning. “Wait a second... you’re a vampire?” Spitfire shrugged and put her lips back over her teeth, hiding the two dagger-like fangs, “Uh... yeah” She said, “Can you put that thing away?” “Oops, sorry.” Cyburst said, sheathing Silverbolt, “Tell me, what does Equestria look like right now? Don’t look, just think.” “Uh, Equestria looks like... I don’t know, Equestria?” She said, breaking the rules and turning around, instantly freezing when her eyes saw the horrors of the world she once knew. “Wrong answer, but it provides some answers.” Cyburst said, “Spitfire, this might not be YOUR Equestria. You come from what some ponies call a, “Parallel Dimension” if you know what that is.” “WHAT THE HELL?!” “Spitfire, are you okay?” Cyburst asked, fearing the worst. Spitfire was flying about, smacking her hoof across her head every few seconds, like she would somehow bring back her other world. “While I do find you smacking yourself amusing, I think we should get back to the others.” Cyburst said as he put his hoof over his face to keep himself from laughing. “Wait! where’s Blackblood?” Spitfire asked, thinking of the mare. “I still don’t know who Blackblood is.” Cyburst said flatly. “Your marefriend? your worst enemy? your rival?” She asked, “None of this rings a bell?” “I will never have another marefriend, I don’t have any enemies except for, maybe an Ursa Major, and I don’t have any rivals.” Cyburst said as he pretended to count with his hoofs. Spitfire blinked a few times and shook her head, “Did you say there were others?” “Yes! A whole group of friends I know, but who don’t know me,” Cyburst said, “you should also know there names, but not there genders.” Spitfire’s face suddenly lit up in excitement, “Is Mia there?” she asked anxiously. “MIRAGE is there, I know that for a fact, but Mia may be there.” Cyburst said while he got ready to leave. Spitfire frowned and began to sniff the air and the ground right under their hooves, pushing him out of the way a few time as she caught onto the scent of her marefriend. “Now, if you excuse me,” Cyburst said, feeling the power build inside him, “50%, RELEASE!” Spitfire flinched at the large flash of light before her, “What the-” she was cut off by the shocking sight before her. “What? Too sexy for words?” Cyburst said as he struck a pose for the mare. “Eh, I’ve seen better” She said, grinning, “A certain mare, actually.” “It doesn’t matter to me anyway.” Cyburst said as he started to climb into the air Spitfire followed behind the pony cautiously to where the others were. Meanwhile, Mia soared over the sky, staring in awe at what used to be Ponyville, it was completely trashed, like some kind of war had gone on right there. She sighed and looked around, Rarity’s Boutique had been flattened, all that remained of it were a few two by fours and rock, even a few pieces of worn ribbon, the color had been almost completely drained from the once gorgeous decor on the exterior of her boutique. Twilight’s library/treehouse thing was still standing and surprisingly in good shape, the leaves had stayed alive, but the trunk was decorated with some rather... interesting graffiti, one was home to multiple swear words in a blurred text, like some filly had wrote down every swear word she knew on that tree, another held a... rather pornographic poster of the Wonderbolt Captain, Spitfire. They had proportioned everything wrong to say the least, her ass was far too large and she didn’t quite have curves like that, hell, even her Cutie Mark was upside down! Mia noticed a few posters of the rest of the team, which she was not in, like she had never existed in the first place, a pony with a light blue mane had replaced her in every picture. Mia’s senses snapped her away from her imagination, she could smell something change in the atmosphere, she turned her head to see two figures from where she came from flying in her direction, One of them was clearly Cyburst, one looked like... Spitfire! Mia’s wings blasted into overdrive, slicing through the air like a bullet towards the orange mare, who seemed to be coming in her direction as well. “Spitfire!!!” She yelled through the sky, “Mirage!!!” Spitfire yelled back, “Cyburst!!!” Cyburst yelled. The two marefriends met in a death grip hug, locking each other tight while still managing to stay in the air. “Well, I was expecting to meet the others first,” Cyburst said as he D’awwed on the inside, “Silly me” “What happened?” Spitfire asked, Mia let go of the pegasus and stared at her blankly, “I have no bucking idea” she said with a smile. “Gaymaressaywhat” Cyburst said as fast as he could. Spitfire turned around with a wicked grin on her face, “What.” she said, “Thank you.” Cyburst said as he bowed, “I’ve never done that before and wasn’t sure of the reaction I would get. I’m happy it was positive.” “Spitfire?” A voice asked from above, it seemed to be broken and falling to pieces as it spoke, “And we’re boned.” Cyburst said with a frown. Spitfire and Mia looked up to see a rainbow maned pegasus floating on a small cloud with her eyes opened wide, “Oh, hey Rainbow Dash” Spitfire said coolly, not knowing the extent of the situation, w Rainbow Dash let out a squeal of joy just before she practically knocked Spitfire out of the sky with a giant hug and lavishing her with kisses, “Whoa! what- ack! what are you doing?!” Spitfire demanded, pushing the pegasus off and baring her fangs in defence, “Can I not kiss my marefriend?” Rainbow asked, inching towards the pegasus, “When did you get the teeth?” “Marefriend?” Mia asked in a confused state. “Ahem.” Cyburst said as he rubbed his temples, “If you need information, insert coin.” Mia raised an eyebrow, “How about I jump start you?” She said, her eyes surging with electrical power. “Please don’t. I’ve had enough electrical current run through me today to power a refrigerator for a week.” Cyburst said, putting up his free claw to stop her. “you can also say please.” “Fine, Please” She said, rolling her eyes. “Ok, where to begin?” Cybust said as he clapped his claws together, “Rainbow, I have some good news and some bad news.” “How about the good news first” She said, hugging Spitfire but getting shoved away by Mirage. “The good news is that that actually is Spitfire!” Cyburst said with fake excitement. “Ha! tell me something I don’t know!” Rainbow said hopefully, pushing Mirage back, “Ok, she’s from a different dimension where the genders of some ponies are reversed, and Mirage was one of them.” Cyburst said. “Spitfire had fallen for this Mirage and doesn’t, so to speak, like you in any affectionate sort of way.” “Wait, so you’re telling me, that Spitfire, MY MAREFRIEND doesn’t love me anymore?” Rainbow asked, “And she loves this bitch?” Spitfire stepped in front of Mirage now, “Hey! there’s no need for that!” She shouted, “I have no interest in you, Rainbow Dash!” Spitfire’s correct.” Cyburst said nervously, “technically, she was never your marefriend to begin with. the Spitfire you loved, and loved you back, died by the hooves of Soarin back in that awful war.” “Wait, how do you know about that?” Rainbow asked, “That, my rainbow maned friend, is a sad story for another time.” Cyburst said as he looked down at his talons in sadness. A light blue aurora suddenly took a hold of Mia’s back hooves and dragged her to the ground, bring her nose to nose with a familiar mare. “Vinyl!” Mia cried in shock, “You came here too?” “Oh dear Luna!” Cyburst said, facehoofing, “could this get ANY worse?!” “I heard, you are him” Vinyl said, poking Mia in the chest on ‘you’ and pointing behind her to Mirage on ‘him’ “You’re not from my world?” Mia asked, “No, I am not, Mirage told me the whole ordeal and I wanted to welcome you!” Vinyl said, adding a lot of excitement at the end, “Nopony ever listens to me though!” Honeydew cried from the background, “You god damn ALL OF MY CREATIONS” he yelled, “Don’t listen to him, he’s crazy” Vinyl said. “So, Vinyl... you are okay with this?” Mirage asked, putting a hoof on her shoulder, “Why wouldn’t I be?” she asked, smiling at her husband. Suddenly, a portal opened up about a dozen hooves above the party and throwing out a blue earth pony onto the ground, but not before he could yell the whole way down. “FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK” the stallion yelled right before he slammed into the ground. “Well whaddya know?” Honeydew yelped, “Who could this be?!” “That is the last time I’m ever playing as soldier.” the blue pony said as he got on his three hooves while the fourth was massaging his forehead. The pony looked around at his surroundings and then frowned. “Oh great, like this hasn’t been overused much” “I know right” Honeydew said, without even thinking, “Wait, what?!” “Ah a fimilier face, Bla- I’m going to call you B.M. for right now to not get Mirage riled up.” the pony said. “It’s me, Cybeast Hunter.” “What? Really?” Honeydew asked, “Wait, how did you get here?” “Well, I was playing soldier in T. F. 2 and I shot a crit missile at the ground to rocket jump and flew out of the map.” Cybeast said. “and my body was thrown as if I was the Soldier.” “That’s smart” Jax said, appearing on Honeydew’s side. “Hey, there isn’t a way to tell the difference between missiles before you shoot them.” Cybeast said. “I got it by sheer luck.” “Well better than my story, I got hit with a frying pan by Discord” Honeydew said, “ALRIGHT STOP!” Mirage shouted, “Mind filling us in?” “ My name is... Mia, Mirage, Vinyl, Cyburst, Spitfire, Rainbow Dash, and now Princess Luna stood side by side, staring at the new pony. “Oh, that’s why.” Aqua Boom said, “Hello everypony, my name, as far as you know, is Aqua Boom.” “Nice to see that there is somepony with manners around here and introduces himself first.” Cyburst said, “My name is Cyber Burst, but everyone calls me Cyburst “Well excuse me, big cheese, I’m not used to jumping around dimensions” Mia growled, “Neither am I, Doppelganger.” Aqua said smugly. “I am the normal Mirage from my dimension asshole! if anypony is the doppelganger, it’s him!” She yelled, pointing at Mirage, “I’m betting that half of this group would disagree.” Cyburst said, grinning. “Should we really be pissing her off?” Honeydew asked, “No comment.” Aqua said, “Wait, why does Cyburst sound like me.” “More like why do you sound like me.” Cyburst said back. “Out of all ponies I thought you would know this Cybeast, YOU ARE THE SAME FREAKING PERSON” Honeydew shouted, “I’m not going to argue, but I am going to say is that we sound like each other,” Aqua said cooly. “Guys, what is even going on?” Aero asked, “All this other worldly bullshit is crazy” I didn’t even know the answer to that question when I started this.” Aqua said “Then what am I?” Mia asked, getting nose to nose with Aero, “A fake” He said with a smile, Aero towered over Mia wearing a menacing a smile, “A fake huh? What makes you think that?” Mia asked, shutting her eyes and looking downwards, “You haven’t shown me shit” He said, “Ok, this is getting out of hoof. Why don’t we all just get along?” Cyburst said, trying to free some tension “Aero-” Gaia tried, “No, So what do you have to show us? what can you do that Mirage can’t?” Mia opened her eyes and stared right back up at Aero, the color had changed from a shiny hue of purple to a bright golden color, “I can do a few things” She said with a smile, her hooves began to tingle and her mouth was filled with large teeth. “Like what?” Aero asked, seeing the color of her eyes change, “He can change his eyes too” Aero turned back to Mirage, “Can't you?” he asked, “Aero I don’t think-” Mirage tried, “BAIL” Aqua boom yelled as he hid behind Cyburst, who was looking confused as to why Aqua hid behind him. “What? You don’t think what?” Aero asked, not noticing the growing shape behind him, “I don’t think he can do that” Vinyl finished, Aero turned around to be met with a monstrous Lycan, the once small pony’s body had grown at least three feet, making her almost twice as tall as Aero, “She can turn into a lycan,” Cyburst said, “but she’s still small compared to me. Why isn’t anyone as tall as me now?” “Don’t say anything else, please” Spitfire begged. “When you make a comment like that, I can’t resist.” Cyburst said, grinning,“The quick fox jumped over the lazy dog.” Spitfire facehoofed, “I mean don’t insult her” she said. “fine.” Cyburst said as he sat down, “There, now you’re the tallest.” Luna was quietly sneaking a syringe behind Mia while the others argued, stopping every time Mia would barely move. Mia had better senses than Luna thought, the Lycan picked her up by the neck with a swish of a paw, slamming her into a building and pinning her there. “Mia!” Spitfire cried out, grabbing her marefriend by the shoulder and pulling with as much strength she could muster to get her off of the Lunar Princess. Mirage rolled his eyes and leaped towards the mare and landed on her shoulder, sinking his teeth into her bicep. “Well, this isn’t something you see everyday, a Lycan and a Vampony fighting.” Cyburst said, “does anypony want me to break this up?” “Fine” Honeydew and Jax said together, Jax took Mirage by the stomach and slammed him into the ground with a lot of force, Honeydew clawed and pecked at Mia’s paw until she let go of Luna, who was now gasping for breath, Cyburst ran over to examine the damage. Don’t tell me I’m some kind of fake!” Mia said, almost returned to normal. “This has been quite the day” Mirage said with a smile, “It sure has,” Night Flash said, “Speaking of which, it’s getting late, we should get some rest, we can sort this out in the morning.” “I’m not sleeping close to a Lycan!” Aero argued, “You’ve slept close to a Vampony” Mirage said, attracting attention, “Oh not like that you perverts!” “Shes going to be ok, if anypony’s wondering.” Cyburst said helping Luna to her hooves “it’s just a bruise.” Everypony looked at Luna with a look of embarrassment, excluding Mia, “Are you alright Luna?” Gaia asked, “I’m fine” She said, “Thanks for asking.” The others exchanged glances and checked on the Princess, just before a squeaky voice startled them, “Mommy, is everypony alright?” Rain Whisper asked, Cyburst glanced at the filly, then looked away with sadness. Vinyl looked back at the small foal and swooped her up onto her back, “Everything is fine, Some ponies just got lost” Vinyl said, “Are you alright?” “I’m okay, just tired” she said, rubbing her eyes, “Aww” Vinyl said, “Who the hell?” Mia asked, Vinyl glanced at her, “Language!” she barked, “C’mon, that’s my daughter” Mirage said, glaring at the mare, “Sorry, Sorry” Mia said, looking down at her slim belly and rubbing it, “You alright?” Spitfire said, putting a hoof on her shoulder, “I’m fine, fine... You alright?” Honeydew asked, “Leave him be,” Aqua said with sadness, also, in his tone, “bad memories, that’s all.” The ponies broke apart into groups, Mia, Spitfire, Honeydew, Jax, Cyburst and Aqua Boom went together, while the others stayed together. The adventure was just getting started... Jumping DimensionsCyburst awoke to find that he was not alone in his room. He jolted upright to find that he wasn’t even in his room. He started to remembered what happened a mere ten hours before. Aqua Boom falling out of the sky, Mia turning into a Lycan, and Rain Whisper making a small joke. Rain whisper, she looked so much like Quiet Harp. The name brought up dark memories. the attack on ponyville, Cyburst first death and Candy Corn’s... It even brought back the memory of him killing... He need some air. Cyburst got out of his makeshift bed and carefully stepping over the sleeping ponies and others and walked outside. he could only think of one place to go at the moment. Where the air was cleanest. Cyburst entered the Everfree Forest and walked aimlessly around until he knew he was totally lost, because only then could you find the place. Cyburst kept walking until he felt the ground become slightly less stable and made no sound as he walked on it. he stopped walking and took a leaf from a nearby tree. He began to do what he always did when he was alone. He brought the leaf up to his mouth and used it as a whistle. (Insert temporal tower music from Pokemon mystery dungeon : explorers of time) “It has been years since I have seen that face, I thought for sure you would be sick of this place” A voiced echoed throughout the forest, “Why is that, mysterious voice that seems to be emanating from everywhere?” Cyburst said as he finished his tune. “I thought you would be gone forever, to be seen never again” The voice said, “Why have you abandoned your code? You are now no more than a dead toad” The sound of metal on metal echoed throughout the forest, it had been the distinct sound of the unsheathing of a sword, or blade. “Why do you want to fight something that can’t be killed, Zecora?” Cyburst said as he sighed, “and when have you ever liked weapons, for that matter?” “Since you left me here to rot” Zecora said, her voice changing from the normal voodoo-like manner to a deadly tone. “And trust me, I can kill you” Zecora moved fast behind him, swinging the sword into a downward motion towards his head. To her surprise, Cyburst did nothing to stop the blade and it sliced cleanly through his body,cutting him in two. Cyburst, however, smiled. his left half suddenly burst into ash and disappeared into thin air. the right half of Cyburst quickly grew the left half back, as if nothing had happened. “That, Zecora, is a privilege not even I have.” Cyburst said, still smiling, “And I never left you to rot.” “What are you talking about? You steal every single one of my supplies and run.” She said, “But not with both eyes” she said, smiling. “I didn’t take any supplies of yours, I wouldn’t unless you said I could.” Cyburst said as he started to frown,” And as you can see, as well as I can see, I have both eyes.” Zecora was shocked, “You are not Cyber Burst” she said. “I am too Cyber Burst.” Cyburst said, furrowing his brow. “And I’m standing on the ruins of the Mirage Temple.” “What is The Mirage Temple?” Zecora asked, “The temple in which I found the scroll of camouflage, my first ever adventure in a long story of... adventuring.” Cyburst said a he backed up. “the place where I outsmarte-” Cyburst was interrupted by the solid object that, while unseen, could be felt. The one thing that he knew wasn’t supposed to be there. Cyburst turned around and felt the sandstone surface with his hooves. “You have gone insane Cyber Burst, You were never an adventurer, you were a Silver Sword, and nothing more.” “Wait a minute, did you say Silver Sword?” Cyburst said as he turned around, “What gender is Mirage?” “Yes, I said Silver Sword” Zecora said, “I do not know the Mirage you speak of” “Crap, I need to go Zecora, something terrible has happened.” Cyburst said as he built up magical energy in his horn, and vanished from sight. “What? get back here! Cyburst!” Zecora screamed, Cyburst had teleported back to the destroyed Ponyville, or where it should have been. Ponyville was standing tall, as if the war never happened. Dozens of Ponies crowded around the team of ponies, Rain Whisper hid behind her mother and father, Mia and Spitfire seemed to be greeting the ponies, Luna was examining the town in shock, Aqua Boom, Honeydew and Jax were confused, The elements of harmony stared at themselves in shock, the four elemental ponies that were present stared at their mare or stallion selves in awe. “Damn! I’m hot!” Mare Gaia cried, “Awww, I wanted to see more of destroyed Ponyville,” Aqua Boom said, “I’ve already seen all of regular Ponyville.” “Likewise” Stallion Gaia said, Aero looked irritated at what the other Gaia had said, “Hey buddy, back off!” he barked, stepping in front of Mare Gaia, “Wow, You have an attitude like Gaia” Mare Aero said, “This is awesome!” Gaia said, bouncing up and down, “How is this awesome?” Mirage said, “We don’t belong here!” “But you are not there!” Pinkie Pie said to Pinkie Pie, “Let’s have a party!” “Oooh!” Pinkie Pie responded to herself, “Let’s do what I said!” “Pinkie Pie, we don’t have time for a party” Rainbow Dash said, staring at herself. “Rainbow Dash is right, We need to find out how to get back to our world” Twilight said, “I think this is Mia’s dimension” Honeydew whispered to Jax and Aqua Boom, “You don’t say?” Aqua Boom said, tilting his head to the side and opening his eyes a little wider. “Everypony out of my way!” A voice yelled out, A full black pony appeared out of the crowd and looked at Mirage and Mia, trying to figure out which to speak to, “Um, how did this happen?” She asked, “I can explain that, wait, no I can’t.” Aqua Boom said Suddenly, a bright flash of light blinded all ponies within five feet. The light dimmed down and Cyburst was standing there. “Ponies, we have a prob-” Cyburst said as he looked around, “Oh, I see you’ve already figured it out.” “Blackblood, Don’t freak out-” Mia tried, Blackblood dove towards Cyber Burst and tackled him into the ground, immediately swinging her hoof wildly at him, “How dare you show your face around here!” She cried, “Oh, let me fix that, is this better?” Cyburst said as he covered his face with his hooves. “You know what I mean!” She yelled as Mia pried her off of him, “Actually, I don’t.” Cyburst said, tapping his chin with his left hoof, “Blackblood, Blackblood, where have I heard that name before?” Mirage stood in shock at the use of that name, he bared his fangs as the mare Blackblood faced him, she gave him a look of confusion. “Oh yeah! Spitfire said I, or this dimension I, drove you out of town.” Cyburst said as he took his hooves and clapped them together, “She also said I was your coltfriend.” Blackblood’s eyes shrank and her cheeks flushed to a shade of red, “I thought we agreed not to tell anypony!” She whined, “We did” A voice said, The other Cyber Burst stepped into the crowd, his eyes narrowed at his copy, “Oh, hello me, how are you doing?” Cyburst said, “Could you get this mare off of me? Unless of course, she likes to be on top.” Blackblood leaped off of Cyburst and stood by the side of her coltfriend, “Shut up!” She cried, “Your jokes aren’t funny, they are offensive” Cyber Burst said, “Only if you take them literally.” Cyburst said. “I did take it literally, Pig” Cyber Burst replied, “I don’t want you speaking to her” “She jumped on me!” Cyburst said “For good reason, she was trying to protect her name” Cyber Burst said, “Why would you need to protect your name?” Rain Whisper asked, “Did somepony steal it?” “Yeah, what she said?” Cyburst said, “Dear Luna that was adorable!” “Uh, kid, it was a figure of speech” Cyber Burst said, “A figure? The ponies all traveled in one group to the edge of town, Mirage watched with tear filled eyes as the buildings passed, all of them clean and intact. “Try not to think about it” Vinyl said, putting a hoof on his shoulder, “There isn’t anyway NOT to think about it.” Cyburst said with his eyes looking at the ground Vinyl glared over at him and then looked at the buildings herself, “Thanks” She said in an angry tone, “Well, if you haven’t figured it out yet, I’ve had my share of losses too!” Cyburst shot back, “And I’m not just talking about my wife.” “We can’t live in the past” Twilight said, “We have to find a way to remember them without hurting ourselves in the process.” “You can’t live in the past without hurting yourself when it’s the only thing you’ve got left,” Cyburst whispered, “except for a blade and a friend that you literally, can’t get out of your head.” “It’s no use Twilight” Mirage said, “Just leave him be” “No, she’s right. I’ve got to stop thinking about it, the past only pisses me off.” Cyburst said. “Where are we even going?” Honeydew asked, “Does it really matter, we don’t know how to get back.” Aqua Boom said, “Anywhere’s a good start.” “We’re taking the Train to Canterlot, Princess Celestia may know something about this” The other Twilight said, Cyburst immediately sprinted to the nearest wall and punched it as hard as he could. “Don’t ever mention that mother-humping Princess’s name again,” Cyburst spat, “Not saying the word I want to in front of Rain, but it starts with a F and ends with a K.” “Thank you” Vinyl said, The others looked shocked, “Why would you call the princess something like that?” Mia asked, “She did things that nopony would ever think of doing.” Cyburst said solemnly, “Things to all of us from home.” “Celestia would never do something like that!” Rainbow Dash said, Cyburst automatically picked up Rainbow Dash with his magic and threw her to the other side of Ponyville. “WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT THAT NAME!” Cyburst screamed, “SHE LET LUNA’S SOLDIERS SLAUGHTER MY MOTHER AND THEN LET HER OWN SOLDIERS RAPE AND MURDER MY WIFE AND DAUGHTER!” “Cyburst isn’t the one to be talked back to when he’s like this.”Aqua Boom whispered to Honeydew and Jax. Everypony stood in shock, Rainbow Dash managed to catch herself in the air and fly back, she had heard what he had said. “THAT’S NOT THE END OF IT EITHER, OH NO!” Cyburst continued, “NOT ONLY THAT, BUT I’M NOW IMMORTAL AND CAN’T JOIN MY FAMILY IN DEATH. NOT MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I KILL MYSELF, I JUST PUT MYSELF BACK TOGETHER AGAIN.” During that yelling, he had been punching the wall he had previously punched until it crumbled, leaving the scared ponies behind it scared and defenceless. “YOU TAKE THE TRAIN, I’M FLYING THERE BY MYSELF!” Cyburst yelled “FIFTY PERCENT RELEASE!” Cyburst got up on his talons and rocketed into the sky, leaving nothing but a party of shocked ponies, a demolished wall, and a small puddle of tears. “Just... don’t mention her name” Mirage said, looking down at Rain Whisper, “She has caused us a lot of pain over the years. And with that, the ponies, the griffin and diamond dog waited for their train to begin their journey.

The wind blowing his mane across his face as he studied Ponyville, He wished that he could go back in time and change what happened, stopping Celestia from ever starting the war. But what’s done is done and you can’t reverse what had happened. He had asked Clock Star if she could take him back, when everything was normal and keep it there, but according to her, the past was locked in place, never to be touched again. Nothing was ever normal for Cyber Burst. He looked back at what had happened and cried. There were things he wanted to take back, things he wanted to fix, but couldn’t. He did have Silverbolt, but he could only see what had happened before and not be able to change anything. The world was an ass that way. “...What are we doing here, Cyburst...?” Phoenix asked, using Cyburst’s voice, “...I thought you swore you’d never come here again...” “SHUT UP PHOENIX!” Cyburst yelled. clearly, he didn’t want to be bothered. “...Cyburst?...” Phoenix called, “I THOUGHT I SAID SHUT UP!” Cyburst yelled again, “... Cyburst there’s-...” Phoenix said, “I SAID SHUT THE FU-” Cyburst tried to say, “CYBURST! THERE’S SOMEPONY OVER THERE” Phoenix yelled back, “Oh, sorry.” Cyburst said. he never had gotten this angry, not with phoenix anyways. Cyburst looked in the direction of the way Phoenix showed him. He was right. there was somepony else. Cyburst couldn’t help but think he had seen him before, a black coat, purple eyes, a purple and black mane... Wait, that wasn’t possible. He was dead. I saw him get killed. “Phoenix, 50% RELEASE!” Cyburst shouted, the strain of this release didn’t even phase Cyburst anymore. the pain didn’t even compare to what he felt after, after THAT happened. Cyburst flew towards the pony, he could clearly see that it was a pegasus now, even at the speed he was going. He didn’t care how many bones he broke. It wasn’t like they would stay that way anyway. He slammed right into the imposter. Breaking two of his own ribs. Mirage felt an intense pain on his right side, he realized he was falling, right off of the perch he was on, he looked to the source of the pain and saw a red and yellow mane smashing into his side, the pony felt like a train that was at full speed, it hurt bad, but it wasn’t enough. Mirage grabbed the pony’s head and smashed it into the dirt just before they hit, allowing Mirage to use the pony’s back like a cushion, which he quickly hopped off of, he turned around and noticed the large sword on his back, he sniffed the air... silver. Cyburst couldn’t see anything, but he could feel the imposter landing on his back and quickly jumping off. He didn’t think that the pony knew he had claws and talons on both feet. he flailed his claws with all his might, and giving that imposter a gash to remember him by before he pulled his head out of the ground and launching himself on top of the imposter. “WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?!” Cyburst yelled “AND DON’T YOU SAY MIRAGE BECAUSE I SAW HIM DIE! “You saw me die?” Mirage asked, he was confused by the whole situation, he began licking the cut on his left side, “That really hurt you know” Cyburst noticed the gash had become smaller. It was healing to fast for any regular pony. Humph, vampony. “WELL THIS IS FANTASTIC” Cyburst yelled “YOU EVEN KNEW HE WAS A VAMPONY” “Why are you yelling?” Mirage asked, lapping the blood from his muzzle, “And why are you referring to me as ‘he’?” “Don’t give me that crap” Cyburst said, finally calming down, “Unless?” “Look pal, I don’t want any trouble” He was eyeing that silver sword on the pony’s back, and began to sweat, “Don’t you dare move.” Cyburst said, reverting to his normal self,“I’ll be back in 5 seconds” “You’re just gonna let me stand here?” Mirage asked, “Don’t worry if you run, I’ll find you.” Cyburst said, smiling a wicked grin. Cyburst teleported to the grave of Mirage, not to his surprise, some things had changed. For one, the black rose he had placed in front of the gravestone had disappeared, and another thing was that the ground had recently been upturned, Which revealed a wooden crate. “Mirage, if you’re still in there, I’m sorry” Cyburst said as he smashed the crate open, finding that nothing remained except for a hatch. Only one thing remained in the crate, in a small hatch in the side, it was a small switchblade, engraved in an unreadable fashion, it had been worn over time. Cyburst pick up the switchblade and teleported to the only pony he could think of, the imposter. A flash of light appeared in front of Mirage, shortly after the pony was there, standing before him with something in his hoof. Cyburst threw the switchblade to the ground in front of the imposter. “I will believe you are the real Mirage” Cyburst said, “If you can tell me what that said” “Why should I?” Mirage asked, “It’s personal!” “Because if you don’t,” Cyburst said, pulling out Silverbolt, “I’ll cut you down the middle and you won’t be able to recover.” Mirage’s ears pounded, he knew EXACTLY what the words said, but why would this pony want to know? “Why do you need to know exactly?” Mirage asked, Cyburst brought Silverbolt up and swung it down, just to stop only inches away from this imposter’s face. seeing if that did the trick. “Oh, big mistake” Mirage mumbled, sending a wave of electrical energy through the sword’s blade, shocking the pony’s hoof rather violently, “Now tell me why!” He shouted, Cyburst was shocked, mentally and physically, from what had just happened. he knew he should have put on the rubber hilt. “Okay,you could also do that.” Cyburst said after coughing up some blood. “I’m sorry for doubting you. I just had to make sure you’re the real Mirage” “Well does that answer your question?” Mirage asked, he was getting irritated, “Yes, that does,” Cyburst said, “Only one pony in the world has the element of electricity” “I’m still not going to read this” Mirage snorted, picking up the knife with his wing and tucking it safely under it. “You don’t need to if you don’t want to” Cyburst said, softening his tone ”that was only to make sure you were the real Mirage.” “Who are you?” Mirage asked, putting his angry side away. “Oh, sorry for not introducing myself sooner” Cyburst cleared his throat and spoke up, “My name is Cyber burst, or Cyburst for short.” Mirage extended a hoof in his direction, “Nice to meet you, Cyber Burst, I think you already know my name.” Cyburst extended his hoof, and got a small electric shock. That was getting annoying. “Oh, sorry about that” Mirage said, quickly drawing his hoof away and giving a smirk, he had meant to do that, best joke ever. “It won’t cause any REAL damage, anyway” Cyburst said, “If you couldn’t already tell.” “How’s that?” Mirage asked, raising an eyebrow, “It’s a long story, basically, I have a electronic phoenix living inside my brain” Cyburst said, Phoenix then took over in his deeper voice“I’m not just any Phoenix, I’m the great Cybeast, Falzar!” Mirage blinked, that was quite confusing, it almost compelled him to attack, it sounded like he was talking to Black Mirage again.
The Idiots“INCOMING!!!” A voice shouted from above, Cyburst reflexively teleported six feet to the left, and drew Silverbolt again. Mirage was not so lucky, he was hit directly by the dropping diamond dog, knocking him into the dirt along with the gargantuan dog, The Dog jumped up quickly and looked up from where he had come from, where a griffin was laughing and doing backflips in mid-air “Honeydew! you asshole!” The dog shouted to the griffin, “You dropped me!” “I didn’t drop you, I threw you at the ground” ‘Honeydew’ continued to laugh, “You made me hit somepony!” The dog said, Cyburst made a force shield right above the griffin and smashed it into him, sending it to the ground. The griffin quickly hopped up and brushed the feathers on his head, “Is that how you greet everypony?” He asked, turning to Cyburst and glaring daggers, “No, only the ones who threaten the existence of friends.” Cyburst said “I wasn’t threatening anypony!” He said, “Why don’t we ask the pony who got hurt.” Cyburst asked “Mirage?” Mirage slowly got to his hooves, his eyes boggled inside of his head until he shook his head and closed his eyes, “You did drop a diamond dog on me” He said, opening his eyes and looking at the griffin, “Oh, my bad” The griffin said, walking towards Mirage, “Ugh, hate griffins,” Cyburst said, sheathing Silverbolt, “They never pay attention.” “That’s not true!” The griffin said, turning around to look at the Ponyville that wasn’t theirs, “What happened in the past ten seconds?!” It screeched, “You threw a diamond dog into my friend, not realizing that he was even there” Cyburst yelled “Thanks smartass” He said, “Who is your friend?” It asked, looking around until his eyes met Mirage’s, “MIRAGE?!” It yelled, “How do you know my name?” Mirage asked, “I wrote about you!” The griffin said, “So does that mean...?” The griffin turned around, looking at the destroyed Ponyville, “Oh no...” “What, did you also forget that Ponyville was destroyed too?” Cyburst asked sarcastically “Ponyville isn’t destroyed! Not in our world!” The griffin shouted, “What do you mean your world,” Cyburst said “Do you mean you’re not from this Country?” “Essentially yes, but no, we do live in Equestria” It squawked, “You’re fanfiction!” the diamond dog said, “What is that supposed to mean?” Mirage asked, “What’s the last thing you remember Jax?” The griffin asked the diamond dog, “Twilight was testing a spell on us, then we flew out of range and you wanted to go to Canterlot” ‘Jax’ said, “So, we’re in a different dimension?” The griffin asked, “I think so” The diamond dog said, The two looked at each other and then back at the ponies that stood before them, “High five!” The griffin shouted, “I only have four fingers” The diamond dog mumbled, The griffin examined his claws and smiled sheepishly, “High four?” it asked, holding up its claws, They slapped their hands together and looked back at the two ponies, “Who exactly are you two jokers?” Mirage asked, “This is nothing to joke about, other ponies died!” “Oh, sorry” The griffin said, “I’m Honeydew” “And I’m Jax” The diamond dog said, Jax extended his paw towards Cyburst, “DON’T YOU DARE TOUCH ME YOU FILTHY MUTT .” Cyburst screamed, slapping the paw away, “Wow, Cyburst is a bigger asshole than I Imagined” Jax said, he didn’t know what he had done. Cyburst started to remember everything that had happened. He couldn’t bear it. He teleported back to the graveyard and began to walk, carving a path through the overgrown brush, he knew exactly what he was heading to, he thought about good memories, the few that he still had, He thought about Candy Corn, Quiet Harp, His mother, the rest of his family, and everypony else he lost, there were so many... it hurt him to kneel next to the gravestones, it hurt him to cry his eyes out over his wife and daughter’s grave, it hurt him to get up and leave another black rose, next to all of the dead ones, it was always like he had some on him, he never knew when he needed to come to this place again. ‘...Cyburst, you can’t keep doing this,’ Phoenix thought, ‘it will eventually kill you...’ “you know that can’t happen...” Cyburst whispered, “I can’t die...” “...But you can live on...” Phoenix said, “..with their memories...” “...You’re right..” Cyburst said, “What’s done is done, and I can’t change that. Even if I am immortal...” Finding new strength, Cyburst went back to Mirage’s gravestone “50%, RELEASE” Cyburst said, feeling the power flow “Where are we going?” Phoenix asked. “Canterlot,” Cyburst said, grinning, “At mach 2” Cyburst heard the sonic boom but he didn’t care. they wouldn’t see him until he was upon them. Mirage looked around for Cyburst, trying to find any sight of the pony, nothing. He had vanished into thin air and gone somewhere out of sight. Mirage sniffed the air, trying to find his scent, all he could smell was the diamond dog, Jax. “Can you still do all of the electricity?” Jax asked, Mirage sent a visible visible tremor of electricity across his coat, ruffling it a bit, “Does that answer your question mutt?” Mirage asked, “Okay, I’m being quite an asshole” Honeydew said, “You’re not me!” Mirage reminded him, he was a real bird brain, “Stop calling me a mutt!” Jax barked, “You’re a diamond dog!” Mirage shouted, “Wow, I’m racist too” Honeydew said, “Shut up bird!” Mirage yelled, he was going to lash out on the two, “That’s another thing, I have a name you know” Honeydew said, “Shut up. Without me?” Cyburst said, He seemed to be in a better mood, “You should be ashamed with yourselves” “Cyburst! don’t give these two idiots any ideas!” Mirage said, “Too late!” Cyburst said as the sound of his approach finally caught up with him. “A party? good idea!” A pink pony seemed to come out from under Honeydew, launching him into the air and back onto the ground, “SWEET PONY JESUS!” Cyburst said, falling backwards “Did I surprise you?” Pinkie Pie asked, hopping out of the ground and walking over to Cyburst, “Yes, yes you did Pinkie Pie” Cyburst said as he facehoofed, leaving large claw marks in his face “Bad idea” Mirage swallowed hard, the sight of somepony’s blood made him lick his lips and get in a pouncing position. Cyburst always was prepared for any vampony attack, taking out Silverbolt and reverting back. Cyburst was suddenly locked in place, Mirage’s powers had stunned his body and he was unable to move, not that he needed to, Mirage looked like he was battling with himself his body twitched and one of his eyes turned to a deep crimson, Cyburst was about to use his magic to put up a force shield when Pinkie Pie hopped happily over to Mirage shoving a red cupcake into his mouth, it had been soaked with blood, “That did not just happen” Honeydew said, he began to whisper to Jax, “Don’t worry! it’s only fake blood!” Pinkie exclaimed, Mirage looked pissed, he hated the fake taste, but it still worked on him quite well, “Um, Cyburst?” Mirage asked, “Yes?” Cyburst asked, finally able to move again. “Can I just have a little bit?” Mirage asked, making his eyes big, “NO! Phoenix blood is sacred.” Cyburst yelled “Only few ever see it, let alone taste it.” Mirage lunged at Cyburst like a bat out of hell, latching onto the shield and trying to bite it, never doing any damage, “Let me in!” Mirage growled, “I don’t think you want to.” Cyburst said, teasing Mirage Mirage let out a demonic roar, electrocuting the magical barrier that held Cyber Burst, “You’re not going to get anywhere like that,” Cyburst said, Levitating with magic. “My wounds have already healed anyway.” “Doesn’t mean that I can’t bite through your skin you maggot!” Mirage roared, it wasn’t really him doing much of the talking anymore. “Hmm, you want in so bad, fine” Cyburst said as he put the force shield around Mirage instead, knowing what was happening. Mirage’s pupils shrank, he looked at the ‘bubble’ around him, his eyes turned into a glowing red, along with his tail, mane and hooves, he pounded on the bubble, shattering it in one blow, “dang, I was hoping I could keep him in there until he fainted,” Cyburst said “Doesn’t mean I can’t do it again.” Mirage stared at Cyburst for a few seconds, never blinking, black electricity cascaded through his veins, breaking all of his sanity and replacing it with rage. Mirage grabbed Cyburst and began to fly up, Cyburst easily teleported back down to the to “Idiots.” “Don’t let him catch you” Honeydew said, hiding under a nearby rock, Mirage roared in anger and shot back down towards Cyburst, gripping his horn and shocking it, draining any kind of magical energy from his body, then he grabbed him by the back of the neck and took off towards Canterlot, “Buck this, have a present.” Cyburst said as he smashed a large bottle of garlic water over “Mirage’s” head. The garlic evaporated within seconds, the amount of heat coming off his body was overwhelming and the speed felt like it could break bones, Mirage sped up even more, never looking down to Cyburst, Suddenly Cyburst had an idea. “Hey, Leech!” Cyburst said, “Why don’t you go back to the lake you came out of!” Mirage looked down at Cyburst with a smile on his face, “Why don’t you get back to the castle” Mirage said, “Because it’s right in front of you.” Cyburst said, grinning again, Mirage laughed, “That’s the whole point” he said, Before Cyburst could answer Mirage threw him through the wall of the castle, causing wood to splinter all around him, rocks jammed through his skin and the marble walls almost broke bones, almost a second after smashing through the castle he connected with the floor of one of the rooms inside of the castle, Mirage flew in a few seconds after, smiling triumphantly “Ain’t even mad.” Cyburst said, wounds quickly healing, Mirage stared Cyber Burst down, sending a generous bolt of electricity at him every so often, “Why *zap* didn’t I *zap* bring *zap* a *zap* Lightning Rod.” Cyburst said in between shocks of electricity. “I don’t know, why didn’t you?” Mirage asked, “Oh, come on. You know that was rhetorical.” Cyburst said, still grinning. “So?” Mirage asked, “It’s fun to talk to you” “Oh, why thank you.” Cyburst said. Mirage lunged at Cyburst again, baring his fangs and hissing loudly, “Eat rock.” Cyburst said as he threw a large piece of castle at Mirage, and jumping out of the way. Mirage bit down on the rock and lost his balance, falling over onto his side, “How embarrassing” Mirage said getting up, Mirage began to trot slowly towards Cyburst, his head snapping back and forth every few seconds, Mirage bowed down and growled, like he was trying to stop, “Cyburst!” Mirage’s voice yelped, “Get back!” Mirage snapped his head again and laughed, “DIE MAGGOT!!!” He shouted, “You’re forgetting something,” Cyburst said “I CAN’T.” Mirage slammed himself into a wall, electrical energy surged up it, dropping worn pictures and paintings off of the wall, next he dove into a bathroom, he spun the faucet handle and turned the water on, splashing himself with it, his color started to return, He ran back out to Cyburst and spoke quickly, “D-do you have any G-garlic?” he stammered, “Maybe.” Cyburst said, throwing a large bottle he kept at all times to Mirage. Mirage unscrewed the bottle cap and stared inside of the bottle, his snout crinkled and he closed his eyes, “This is going to suck for me” Mirage said, as he put the bottle to his lips, downing almost half of the drink, Mirage began to topple over and eventually fell, “What is going on in here?!” A feminine voice asked in a shocked voice. “Oh, good.” Cyburst said, thinking he knew who it was. “I was afraid that I would have to blow myself up.” he said, looking towards the voice, Mirage stood before him, changed, but still Mirage.
MiaCyburst was shocked, but not surprised, with beings from who-knows-where coming, it doesn’t seem that surprising that there is two Mirages. “Well, t-this is... interesting.” Cyburst stammered. “When did you get here?” “Who are you?” The other Mirage asked, the voice sounded like what a mare would have, “What happened to the castle?” “This Mirage happened,” Cyburst said, gesturing behind him “I’m Cyber Burst, but you can call me Cyburst.” “Who is that?” She asked, pointing her hoof to Mirage, “and why are you calling him by MY name?” “How about you go over and check.” Cyburst said, “It probably make more sense.” The identically colored mare trotted over to Mirage slowly, unsure by the whole situation, her hooves clicked on the floor beneath her, when she reached Mirage she poked him with her hoof, like he was some kind of dead animal, “Huh? what?” Mirage mumbled, his eyes flicked open and met the mare’s, who was studying him like a book, “Well this is interesting...” “Oh, come on, couldn’t you think of anything better.” Cyburst said. “you stole my line.” The mare jumped back and narrowed her eyes, “Who are you?” She asked, “My name is Mirage” Mirage said, “But that’s my name!” The mare said, “No, not many ponies are named ‘Mirage’ and are colored like me” Mirage said, “We look almost exactly the same!” the mare argued, “So! that doesn’t mean you can do this” Mirage said, getting to his feet and sending a bolt of lightning towards the wall, “How’d you do that?” the mare asked, “I’m the only one who can do that” Mirage said, smiling triumphantly, The mare she a bolt of lightning in Mirage’s direction striking him on the flank, “Fine, everyone’s just going to ignore me” Cyburst said as he sat on the ground. “Ouch! what the hell?” Mirage said, “Ha! what now?” The other Mirage said, “How’d you do that?” Mirage asked, Mirage noticed that they even talked the same, “None of your business!” The mare shouted, “What is your name?” Mirage asked, “Mirage, but my friends call me Mia” She said, “Alright who is the real Mirage?” Cyburst asked, “I am!” They shouted at Cyburst in unison, “No, I am!” Mirage said, “I am” Mia said, “I am!” “I am!” “I am!” “You are!” Mia changed, “You are!” Mirage shouted, “You are!” “You are an there is nothing you can say to deny it!” Mirage said, not realizing he’d been tricked, “Okay, I am” Mia said, turning around and slapping him with her tail, then slowly trotting over to Cyber Burst, “With everything that’s going on right now,” Cyburst said to the incoming mare, “It isn’t hard to believe that you are BOTH the real Mirage.” “How about we all go outside and talk to those... things outside.” Cyburst said. “you ready Phoenix?” “Ready as I’ll ever be.” Phoenix said in response. “Ok, FIFTY PERCENT, RELEASE!” Cyburst and Phoenix said harmoniously. Cyburst went through his usual change and flew through the hole he’d gone through on the way in. he hovered outside for the two Mirages Mirage and Mia both flew through the large hole in the castle and met up with Cyburst, “Did you just talk to yourself?” Mia asked, “It’s just his thing” Mirage said, “I was talking to Phoenix.” Cyburst said, “He’s a Cybeast that is... living with me.” “Uh... okaaaaay” Mia said, chuckling, “Where are we going?” Mirage asked, “To those bozos who did nothing but stare when we were fighting.” Cyburst said. “Okay then, race you there Mia” Mirage challenged, flapping his wings for good measure, “I don’t even know where we’re going, but okay” Mia said, Mirage took off and Mia followed quickly behind, each of them breaking the sound barrier in under two seconds, “Oh, goodie,” Cyburst said as he caught up to the two, “I’m not the only one.” Mia’s wings were beginning to tire after a few miles, as were Mirage’s but they began to push themselves to the limit and break the sound barrier yet again, leaving a trail of electricity in their wake, shocking any electrical components they passed, Mia turned to look to her right, where Mirage was falling behind, she laughed triumphantly, thinking she was going to win. Mirage got directly behind Mia, absorbing her electrical power trail, charging his body and rejuvenating his wings, letting him speed right by. Mia was shocked, nopony had ever beaten her except for Spitfire and Soarin, she began to think about the two, what they had done together, the struggles that she had with Spitfire, how Soarin was almost killed. Mia filled with anger, she hated the landscape around her, it looked war torn and destroyed, she began to wonder how she had gotten in this place, just a few minutes ago she was walking through the doors to meet Celestia, but instead she had met the stallion version of herself. Mia changed into a Lycan quickly, grabbing Mirage by the tail as they flew at incredible speeds, dragging him into the ground, slamming them into various buildings and obstacles. “I believe that counts as cheating, Mia.” Cyburst said, pouting. Mia pinned Mirage to the ground, still in Lycan form, using enough force to break his bones as she pushed his legs into the ground, “How did I get here?!” Mia growled, her voice becoming deeper and more aggressive, “Y-you’re a W-werewolf?!” Mirage stammered, baring his fangs and hissing, “Answer my question!” Mia growled, still crushing him into the ground Cyburst hauled Mia off of Mirage. “Okay, stop.” Cybust said when they finally came to a stop. “We don’t know how you got here.” Mia snarled at Cyburst, baring her large canines at him, “Then how am I me and he is me?” Mia asked, “How are you me and I am me?” Mirage asked, trying to recover, “You’re asking the right questions to the wrong ponies” Cyburst said. “We don’t know!” “Stop with the quotes Da Vinci!” Mia said, “I’m already sick of both of you!” “You’re sick of yourself?” Mirage snickered, “He’s got you there.” Cyburst said as he chuckled. “Shut up!” Mia yelped, changing back to her original form, All of the sudden, fire streaked through the sky, lighting it up like the sun was out, A pony landed in front of the two, his mane and tail was on fire, his eyes burned with a firey orange. “Aero! thank Celestia you are here!” Mia said, Cyburst winced at the word Celestia “Mirage? what happened to your mane? and why would you say ‘Celestia’?” Aero asked, “What happened to your voice?” Mia asked, “You sound like a stallion!” “I am a stallion” Aero said, “You sound like a mare” “Okay this is perfect.” Cyburst said, laughing his head off “Aero, meet Mia, Mirage’s MARE counterpart.” “And may I ask, how YOU know my name?” Aero asked, his wings flaring up with aggression, “Two reasons,” Cyburst said, holding up two claws, “One, Mia just called you that, and two, I know all the names of the Elemental Six.” “Now give me two reasons why I shouldn’t kick your ass, Mia’” Aero said, Mia held up a hoof, “One, because stallions don’t hit mares” She said, changing hooves, “And two because you couldn’t” “Bad second reason,” Cyburst said. “So everyone is gonna stand there and not help me up?” Mirage called from the position he was laying in, The earth from under Mirage began to shake and he was lifted up by it, revealing a brown and forest green pony, “Thanks Gaia” Mirage said, “No problem Mirage” Gaia said, “Gaia?” Mia said, “Your a mare!” “You’d think she’d have caught on by now,” Cyburst said. Mia looked at Gaia then to Aero, then back to Mirage. “What is this tom foolery?!” She screamed, darting across the sky and going out of sight. “That was interesting...” Gaia said, “What is it with ponies and stealing my lines!” Cyburst yelled. “Well apparently she is from some other world where we are all reverse genders” Mirage said, laughing to himself, “What do they call that place?” Aero asked, “Crazy town?” “Well she can replicate my powers, so I don’t think so” Mirage said, “Why is everyone ignoring me?!” Cyburst yelled, “It’s not like I’m invisible, which I can become.” Aero began to look around in the air, confusing the others as to what he was looking for. “What are you doing?” Gaia asked, “He’s not usually this slow” Aero said, flapping his wings and going up in the sky, checking the sides around him, “Who are you talking about?” Mirage asked, meeting him in the sky, “Well, follow me and we can probably meet him halfway” Aero said, taking off from beside Mirage, Mirage looked down towards Gaia and Cyburst, “Can you two keep up with us?” “Is that a question?” Cyburst asked “Because I can. Probably could out fly you.” Cyburst flew to where Aero was and sped up causing a sonic boom. Mirage looked at Gaia, who nodded and smirked. Just as she got in a flying position the ground beneath her rose quickly and launched her across the sky, passing the other two by hundreds of yards. Mirage chuckled and flew after the two, struggling to keep up. “Wait, where am I going?” Cyburst said as he slowed down to meet up with Aero. “Sorry, got caught in the moment.” “You’ll know when you see him” Aero said, trying to catch up to Gaia, who was doing backflips playfully in the air, giggling as she did. “You wanna go, sister?” Cyburst asked Gaia “because I’ll beat you in a race.” Gaia scratched her chin and laughed, “How am I supposed to beat you without wings, silly?” “how are you flying without wings, silly?” Cyburst asked sarcastically Gaia pointed at the ground and brought a pillar of rock up at her feet, launching her further into the sky, “Catapult!” She shouted from the height she was at, “She’s crazy like that” Aero said, “That’s why I like her so much” “oooooOOOOOoooooOO! Aero has a crush on Gaia!” Cyburst said as he chuckled. “Forget crush” Aero said, shooting to the sky towards Gaia, “How are you gonna land babe?” Aero asked, gesturing to the ground, Gaia looked down and smiled sheepishly at the fiery stallion, “Don’t suppose you could catch me could ya?” She asked, “Fine...” Aero said, acting like he didn’t want to, Aero latched onto the mare and regained his speed towards his destination. she positioned herself on his back and wrapped her hooves around his neck to hang on. “Do a barrel roll!” She shouted over the wind, Aero began to spin sideways in the air, making Gaia laugh like a filly. He finally stopped and smiled at his handiwork, he had always had a good time with the playful mare. Mirage finally caught up to Cyburst and watched the two continue with their antics. “I have an idea.” Cyburst said with devilish grin, “Hehehe” Cyburst immediately went invisible, stealthily flying in front of Aero and Gaia. “BOO!” Cyburst said as he became visible in front of the two. Aero and Gaia shrieked in unison, Gaia twisted her arms and sent Aero in a different direction, making him crash into a large Alicorn with a red mane and tail. “By Luna you two!” The Alicorn said, grabbing the two and holding them in place. “Oh, hey Night Flash.” Cyburst said to the Element of spirit. “How’s it hanging?” “Who are you?” Night Flash asked, turning to the pony he had never seen before. “Oh, that would ruin all the fun if I told you my name.” Cyburst said, “What fun?” Night Flash asked, seeing Mirage fly up to them. “The fun of you not knowing my name.” Cyburst said, smiling. “For once in your lives, could you not leave us behind?” A familiar voice asked, A large Griffin holding a Diamond Dog appeared behind the others, It was Honeydew and Jax. “No.” Cyburst said, frowning “we like to leave you behind, especially when you don’t help me when Mirage is trying to kill me.” “Jesus dude, my bad” Honeydew said, “I didn’t think it was that big of a deal” “Not a big deal?” Cyburst said, getting angry with the Griffin, “HE TRIED TO KILL ME.” “Well Damn, get over it” he said narrowing his eyes at the pony, “I don’t even want to talk to you.” Cyburst said, turning away from the tag team of two. “Then why are you?” Honeydew asked, rolling his eyes at the pony, “Blah blah blah, I can’t hear you.” Cyburst said as he cupped his claws over his ears. “Shows how mature you are” Honeydew snickered, “Why can’t the real Cybeast Hunter be here?!” He shouted at the sky. “BUCK YOU!” Cyburst yelled as he turned towards Honeydew and flipped him off. “I thought you couldn’t hear me, little pony” Honeydew smirked at his own remark, as did Gaia. “I’m liking this argument!” Gaia snickered “huuunnnnnnnggggggg!” Cyburst said as he held his head in frustration, “I give up.” And with that, Cyburst let himself fall to the ground. Mirage watched as the pony crashed into the ground and lie there for a few seconds, just before Gaia lifted him up with a pillar of rock. “Didn’t that hurt?” She asked, “Not really” Cyburst said with his eyes half open and a frown on his face. “Oh, well then” She said, watching an electrical beam tear across the sky, “Isn’t that the other Mirage?” she asked, pointing at the beam. “I Believe so.” Cyburst said as he sat up, “I’m going to see what’s up.” Cyburst got up and flew to the streak of lightning and found Mia sitting on the edge of a cliff, staring out into the distance. “So... how do you like it here?” Cyburst said as he sat down next to Mirage’s doppelganger. Mia took a few seconds to answer, but when she did, tears were in her eyes. “I bucking hate it!” She shouted, “Look at my home! look at Equestria! it’s a wasteland!” “But it’s still our home.” Cyburst said, thinking about what he should do. “No it isn’t, it may be yours, but it isn’t mine” She said, “A few hours ago I was kissing Spitfire goodbye” Cyburst started to tear up. “At least you got to say goodbye to your marefriend.” Cyburst whispered, “I didn’t even get to do that.” Mia narrowed her eyes at the pony, she recognized him from somewhere, he looked almost exactly the same as... Cyber Burst. She swung her hoof wildly, striking the pony across the face, she stood up quick and took to the sky, getting a few hooves away from him, “Shut up! you don’t know anything about love! All you do is pry off of other ponies for your own amusement!” She shouted, thinking of Spitfire. “Oh yeah, say that to Candy Corn.” Cyburst whispered as he cried. “Buck You! don’t try that crap on me!” She shouted, “I know what you’re trying to do!” “Oh, you knew that I’ve tried to commit suicide at least a thousand times?” Cyburst yelled at Mia, “Immortality isn’t a blessing, It’s a curse.” Mia huffed and turned away to fly off, “Too bad it didn’t work” she said, taking off and leaving Cyber Burst alone. “Too bad it did work.” Cyburst whispered to himself, “I’m never going to see my Candy again.” Cyburst laid down and looked into the sky, crying his everlasting heart out. He didn’t want to move. He reverted back to himself and cried some more, wishing Mia knew what he was talking about. He let his hair undo itself so that it could hang down like it did when he was a kid.
Look, More Ponies!Spitfire was thrown through a large purple circle inside of her home, launching her next to Cyburst into the dirt, who was still sulking and hadn’t noticed her appearance, “Cyber?” She asked, recognizing the pony from behind, “*sniff* That’s my name.” Cyburst said, frowning, “Wear it out.” “Why are you crying? Didn’t you get what you wanted?” She asked, remembering what had happened days before she had seen the circle. “What are you talking about?” Cyburst asked, still sniffling “I’m never going to see Candy Corn again.” “But, Blackblood left Ponyville” She said in a confused tone, “And who is Candy Corn?” “Candy Corn is my dead wife, who’s Blackblood?” Cyburst said, calming down. “Blackblood is a Lycan! and since when have you been married?” she asked, “I’ve been married for four years now.” Cyburst said, starting to get confused “I don’t think telling me this Blackblood pony is a Lycan will help me know who he is.” “But... Wha?” Spitfire asked, Cyburst turned around to confront his companion, getting even more confused. “Spitfire? I thought you died during the Equestrian wars. Where have you been?” Cyburst said. “What war? I died? Where did your scar go? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!” She screeched, Cyburst didn’t care what Spitfire would do. He went up and hugged her tightly. “I’m glad that you’re okay. And I’ve never had a scar.” Cyburst said into Spitfire’s ear. Spitfire blushed at the sudden embrace, but didn’t fully realize what was going on yet. “Um... are you okay?” She asked, trying to wiggle away. “Yes, thanks to you.” Cyburst said as he finished the hug and started to redo his mane. “Do you know where Mirage is?” She asked, referring to her marefriend. “Which one? The mare or the stallion.” Cyburst asked, he started to get what had happened. “Uh, the mare?” She said sounding cautious, “That explains some things.” Cyburst said, then got annoyed while remembering what had happened when he had tried to speak to her. “She punched me in the face and flew off.” “That’s not really like her” Spitfire said, “But, considering who you are, or look like. I wouldn’t doubt it.” “Just who do you think I am?” Cyburst said as he half-closed his eyes. “Well, you look almost exactly like the leader of the Silver Swords, Cyber Burst” She explained, “Well, that is my name, but I don’t know what the Silver Swords are.” Cyburst said as he pulled out his silver sword, “All I have is Silverbolt.” Spitfire hissed and backed away from the sword, putting a hoof up and baring her teeth in defence, showing off two sharp fangs. “What? He doesn’t bite... hard.” Cyburst said, grinning. “Wait a second... you’re a vampire?” Spitfire shrugged and put her lips back over her teeth, hiding the two dagger-like fangs, “Uh... yeah” She said, “Can you put that thing away?” “Oops, sorry.” Cyburst said, sheathing Silverbolt, “Tell me, what does Equestria look like right now? Meanwhile, Mia soared over the sky, staring in awe at what used to be Ponyville, it was completely trashed, like some kind of war had gone on right there. She sighed and looked around, Rarity’s Boutique had been flattened, all that remained of it were a few two by fours and rock, even a few pieces of worn ribbon, the color had been almost completely drained from the once gorgeous decor on the exterior of her boutique. You don’t think what?” Aero asked, not noticing the growing shape behind him, “I don’t think he can do that” Vinyl finished, Aero turned around to be met with a monstrous Lycan, the once small pony’s body had grown at least three feet, making her almost twice as tall as Aero, “She can turn into a lycan,” Cyburst said, “but she’s still small compared to me. Why isn’t anyone as tall as me now?” “Don’t say anything else, please” Spitfire begged. “When you make a comment like that, I can’t resist.” Cyburst said, grinning,“The quick fox jumped over the lazy dog.” Spitfire facehoofed, “I mean don’t insult her” she said. “fine.” Cyburst said as he sat down, “There, now you’re the tallest.” Luna was quietly sneaking a syringe behind Mia while the others argued, stopping every time Mia would barely move. Mia had better senses than Luna thought, the Lycan picked her up by the neck with a swish of a paw, slamming her into a building and pinning her there. “Mia!” Spitfire cried out, grabbing her marefriend by the shoulder and pulling with as much strength she could muster to get her off of the Lunar Princess. Mirage rolled his eyes and leaped towards the mare and landed on her shoulder, sinking his teeth into her bicep. “Well, this isn’t something you see everyday, a Lycan and a Vampony fighting.” Cyburst said, “does anypony want me to break this up?” “Fine” Honeydew and Jax said together, Jax took Mirage by the stomach and slammed him into the ground with a lot of force, Honeydew clawed and pecked at Mia’s paw until she let go of Luna, who was now gasping for breath, Cyburst ran over to examine the damage. Don’t tell me I’m some kind of fake!” Mia said, almost returned to normal. “This has been quite the day” Mirage said with a smile, “It sure has,” Night Flash said, “Speaking of which, it’s getting late, we should get some rest, we can sort this out in the morning.” “I’m not sleeping close to a Lycan!” Aero argued, “You’ve slept close to a Vampony” Mirage said, attracting attention, “Oh not like that you perverts!” “Shes going to be ok, if anypony’s wondering.” Cyburst said helping Luna to her hooves “it’s just a bruise.” Everypony looked at Luna with a look of embarrassment, excluding Mia, “Are you alright Luna?” Gaia asked, “I’m fine” She said, “Thanks for asking.” The others exchanged glances and checked on the Princess, just before a squeaky voice startled them, “Mommy, is everypony alright?” Rain Whisper asked, Cyburst glanced at the filly, then looked away with sadness. Vinyl looked back at the small foal and swooped her up onto her back, “Everything is fine, Some ponies just got lost” Vinyl said, “Are you alright?” “I’m okay, just tired” she said, rubbing her eyes, “Aww” Vinyl said, “Who the hell?” Mia asked, Vinyl glanced at her, “Language!” she barked, “C’mon, that’s my daughter” Mirage said, glaring at the mare, “Sorry, Sorry” Mia said, looking down at her slim belly and rubbing it, “You alright?” Spitfire said, putting a hoof on her shoulder, “I’m fine, fine... I’m just... thinking” She said, “It’s going to be fine” Spitfire said with a smile, “Mommy, is that mare going to get her mouth washed out?” Rain asked, giggling, Cyburst couldn’t help but smile. a lone tear fell down his cheek. “Maybe, that’s not up to me though” Vinyl said, walking inside to a lone building. “Cyburst? You alright?” Honeydew asked, “Leave him be,” Aqua said with sadness, also, in his tone, “bad memories, that’s all.” The ponies broke apart into groups, Mia, Spitfire, Honeydew, Jax, Cyburst and Aqua Boom went together, while the others stayed together. Jumping DimensionsCyburst awoke to find that he was not alone in his room. He jolted upright to find that he wasn’t even in his room. He started to remembered what happened a mere ten hours before. Aqua Boom falling out of the sky, Mia turning into a Lycan, and Rain Whisper making a small joke. Rain whisper, she looked so much like Quiet Harp. The name brought up dark memories. the attack on ponyville, Cyburst first death and Candy Corn’s... It even brought back the memory of him killing... He need some air. Cyburst got out of his makeshift bed and carefully stepping over the sleeping ponies and others and walked outside. he could only think of one place to go at the moment. Where the air was cleanest. Cyburst entered the Everfree Forest and walked aimlessly around until he knew he was totally lost, because only then could you find the place. Cyburst kept walking until he felt the ground become slightly less stable and made no sound as he walked on it. he stopped walking and took a leaf from a nearby tree. He began to do what he always did when he was alone. He brought the leaf up to his mouth and used it as a whistle. (Insert temporal tower music from Pokemon mystery dungeon : explorers of time) “It has been years since I have seen that face, I thought for sure you would be sick of this place” A voiced echoed throughout the forest, “Why is that, mysterious voice that seems to be emanating from everywhere?” Cyburst said as he finished his tune. “I thought you would be gone forever, to be seen never again” The voice said, “Why have you abandoned your code? You are now no more than a dead toad” The sound of metal on metal echoed throughout the forest, it had been the distinct sound of the unsheathing of a sword, or blade. “Why do you want to fight something that can’t be killed, Zecora?” Cyburst said as he sighed, “and when have you ever liked weapons, for that matter?” “Since you left me here to rot” Zecora said, her voice changing from the normal voodoo-like manner to a deadly tone. “And trust me, I can kill you” Zecora moved fast behind him, swinging the sword into a downward motion towards his head. To her surprise, Cyburst did nothing to stop the blade and it sliced cleanly through his body,cutting him in two. Cyburst, however, smiled. his left half suddenly burst into ash and disappeared into thin air. the right half of Cyburst quickly grew the left half back, as if nothing had happened. “That, Zecora, is a privilege not even I have.” Cyburst said, still smiling, “And I never left you to rot.” “What are you talking about? You steal every single one of my supplies and run.” She said, “But not with both eyes” she said, smiling. “I didn’t take any supplies of yours, I wouldn’t unless you said I could.” Cyburst said as he started to frown,” And as you can see, as well as I can see, I have both eyes.” Zecora was shocked, “You are not Cyber Burst” she said. “I am too Cyber Burst.” Cyburst said, furrowing his brow. “And I’m standing on the ruins of the Mirage Temple.” “What is The Mirage Temple?” Zecora asked, “The temple in which I found the scroll of camouflage, my first ever adventure in a long story of... adventuring.” Cyburst said a he backed up. “the place where I outsmarte-” Cyburst was interrupted by the solid object that, while unseen, could be felt. The one thing that he knew wasn’t supposed to be there. Cyburst turned around and felt the sandstone surface with his hooves. “You have gone insane Cyber Burst, You were never an adventurer, you were a Silver Sword, and nothing more.” “Wait a minute, did you say Silver Sword?” Cyburst said as he turned around, “What gender is Mirage?” “Yes, I said Silver Sword” Zecora said, “I do not know the Mirage you speak of” “Crap, I need to go Zecora, something terrible has happened.” Cyburst said as he built up magical energy in his horn, and vanished from sight. “What? get back here! Cyburst!” Zecora screamed, Cyburst had teleported back to the destroyed Ponyville, or where it should have been. Ponyville was standing tall, as if the war never happened. Dozens of Ponies crowded around the team of ponies, Rain Whisper hid behind her mother and father, Mia and Spitfire seemed to be greeting the ponies, Luna was examining the town in shock, Aqua Boom, Honeydew and Jax were confused, The elements of harmony stared at themselves in shock, the four elemental ponies that were present stared at their mare or stallion selves in awe. “Damn! I’m hot!” Mare Gaia cried, “Awww, I wanted to see more of destroyed Ponyville,” Aqua Boom said, “I’ve already seen all of regular Ponyville.” “Likewise” Stallion Gaia said, Aero looked irritated at what the other Gaia had said, “Hey buddy, back off!” he barked, stepping in front of Mare Gaia, “Wow, You have an attitude like Gaia” Mare Aero said, “This is awesome!” Gaia said, bouncing up and down, “How is this awesome?” Mirage said, “We don’t belong here!” “But you are not there!” Pinkie Pie said to Pinkie Pie, “Let’s have a party!” “Oooh!” Pinkie Pie responded to herself, “Let’s do what I said!” “Pinkie Pie, we don’t have time for a party” Rainbow Dash said, staring at herself. “Rainbow Dash is right, We need to find out how to get back to our world” Twilight said, “I think this is Mia’s dimension” Honeydew whispered to Jax and Aqua Boom, “You don’t say?” Aqua Boom said, tilting his head to the side and opening his eyes a little wider. “Everypony out of my way!” A voice yelled out, A full black pony appeared out of the crowd and looked at Mirage and Mia, trying to figure out which to speak to, “Um, how did this happen?” She asked, “I can explain that, wait, no I can’t.” Aqua Boom said Suddenly, a bright flash of light blinded all ponies within five feet. The light dimmed down and Cyburst was standing there. “Ponies, we have a prob-” Cyburst said as he looked around, “Oh, I see you’ve already figured it out.” “Blackblood, Don’t freak out-” Mia tried, Blackblood dove towards Cyber Burst and tackled him into the ground, immediately swinging her hoof wildly at him, “How dare you show your face around here!” She cried, “Oh, let me fix that, is this better?” Cyburst said as he covered his face with his hooves. “You know what I mean!” She yelled as Mia pried her off of him, “Actually, I don’t.” Cyburst said, tapping his chin with his left hoof, “Blackblood, Blackblood, where have I heard that name before?” Mirage stood in shock at the use of that name, he bared his fangs as the mare Blackblood faced him, she gave him a look of confusion. “Oh yeah! Spitfire said I, or this dimension I, drove you out of town.” Cyburst said as he took his hooves and clapped them together, “She also said I was your coltfriend.” Blackblood’s eyes shrank and her cheeks flushed to a shade of red, “I thought we agreed not to tell anypony!” She whined, “We did” A voice said, The other Cyber Burst stepped into the crowd, his eyes narrowed at his copy, “Oh, hello me, how are you doing?” Cyburst said, “Could you get this mare off of me? Unless of course, she likes to be on top.” Blackblood leaped off of Cyburst and stood by the side of her coltfriend, “Shut up!” She cried, “Your jokes aren’t funny, they are offensive” Cyber Burst said, “Only if you take them literally.” Cyburst said. “I did take it literally, Pig” Cyber Burst replied, “I don’t want you speaking to her” “She jumped on me!” Cyburst said “For good reason, she was trying to protect her name” Cyber Burst said, “Why would you need to protect your name?” Rain Whisper asked, “Did somepony steal it?” “Yeah, what she said?” Cyburst said, “Dear Luna that was adorable!” “Uh, kid, it was a figure of speech” Cyber Burst said, “A figure? The ponies all traveled in one group to the edge of town, Mirage watched with tear filled eyes as the buildings passed, all of them clean and intact. “Try not to think about it” Vinyl said, putting a hoof on his shoulder, “There isn’t anyway NOT to think about it.” Cyburst said with his eyes looking at the ground Vinyl glared over at him and then looked at the buildings herself, “Thanks” She said in an angry tone, “Well, if you haven’t figured it out yet, I’ve had my share of losses too!” Cyburst shot back, “And I’m not just talking about my wife.” “We can’t live in the past” Twilight said, “We have to find a way to remember them without hurting ourselves in the process.” “You can’t live in the past without hurting yourself when it’s the only thing you’ve got left,” Cyburst whispered, “except for a blade and a friend that you literally, can’t get out of your head.” “It’s no use Twilight” Mirage said, “Just leave him be” “No, she’s right.
