Chapters The flashback of past times : the training
Dori just arrived at the Sniper School near Klugletown.
“Hello, are you new here?” asked Sergeant Zedwin to Dori.
The first day feels awkward for him. It feels weird to live without family and friends. Also with the strict rules and far from home...
The day is not like the other day.
I am an Equestrian Sniper.
I am the Guard of Canterlot.

The alarm rang to wake them up. It's about 5.00 am. Since a changeling slept late, he woke up late too.

It is about 6.00 pm now, everypony get into the hostel and grab their towel. Without wasting any time, they all take a bath.
After they took a bath, they should go to the cafétéria for dinner.

After they have their dinner, it is already 9.00 pm, the bell still not rang and the lights still won't turn off. At the distance, Sergeant Zedwin was seen to approaching Ocelli.
Once they are walking to the private hostel, they surprised because there are only two beds for them.
Then, the light was turned off. They all fell asleep. Whole Equestria depends on them. Artemis and Zedwin knew they won't make Equestria disappointed. Tomorrow is the last day for them to face the physical training.
Spies is the most thing that is concerned in sniper school. It might be an Equestrian pony giving pieces of information to the griffons. He or she might tell the griffons to deploy their men on Manehattan since Manehattan is the only nearest city to the Griffon-Equestrian border.
The next day...
"Listen up, today some of you will return home, some of you will stay here. Those names that I read will be sent home by our busses." Artemis shout it out loud. "Big Mclntosh, Soarin, Applejack..." Artemis reading those names out loud...
Some of them willing to return, but only one of them unwilling.
"Art, have you sent Soarin back home?" Zedwin asked worriedly.

The general got shot before he could get in his bulletproof car.

"I'm shot! I'm shot!""Khhhhhh, he's dead. All clear.
The chaos stopped. Looks like it ain't Soarin. It's a Griffon.
"But who's gave the information that the general would come here?" asked one of the general's bodyguards.
Without wasting any precious time, all of them raided Soarin's apartment.
"Quick! Every second is precious!" the commander commanded the ponies to raid Soarin's apartment.
Bang! They kicked the door, but then...Brrrrrrrrrt!!!
Meanwhile...
They rushed to the hospital, the general is dying since he was shot in the neck.
Back at Soarin's apartment...
Beep, beep, beep, beep, beeeeeeeeeeep. Booooooom!
It is a trap, Soarin's working with the griffons. No wonder why he always roams at the midnight, probably he plant some bombs on the important parts of the sniper school such as the ammunition storage, the hostel, the office and a whole lot more.
"No time to waste, inform Zedwin to evacuate the school along with the cadets and the EEOD units to inspect the building. Hurry!" the sergeant of the raiding team commanding on one of his officers to warn Zedwin.
Since they didn't want to fall to another trap, they watch their steps and every inch of the buildings, so they wouldn't be any trap.
"Bomb spotted, defusing the bomb." said one of the EEOD units.
It's odd for them because there's only one bomb and it's placed inside the ammunition storage room. But as soon they switch on the lights, they get it. Tons of 7.72 mm caliber, grenades, smoke bomb, stun grenade, and other explosive materials.
It took them 15 hours to inspect those buildings and declare that they're safe to use.
"This is like a Cold War, eh?" Ocelli told Dori.
Someone else is supporting them
It looks like there is someone else is supporting them. Griffonsia is a small Griffon country, impossible for it to have a lot of munitions and fuels. So, the Equestrian Government suspected that Storm King supported them.
Suiting self with the hostel condition
Dori decided to roam around the hostel as he is about to suit himself.

It's time for them to return to their hostel. They won't start their training tomorrow as this is their first day here.

"Woah cadet, you look strong. Tell me if you have extra time in the night." Zedwin teasing Dori.
"This is military bro, one mistake 50 push-ups," replied Shining Armor. "Come on, let's just sleep. I'll take the down you take the upper side. I have vertigo in high places."
Then they both fall asleep while thinking about their families far away in Equestria.
