Chrysalis never thought Starlight Glimmer would offer to be her friend, so she accepts Starlight Glimmer's friendship and gains a new form of Changeling. Chrysalis is sorry for her actions, but the Changelings tell Chrysalis that she was only doing her duty as mother and queen of the changelings. Chrysalis decides she will live in Ponyville. Thorax accepts Chrysalis's decision, although he still thinks he isn't ready to be king of the Changelings.

Arriving in Ponyville, Chrysalis wonders with who she should live. Twilight offers Chrysalis to spend a day with each of her friends and with her, and who Chrysalis likes to spend time with, she could live with that pony. But over time, the friendship between Chrysalis and Twilight Sparkle may become something more.
