Chapters In the month of December 23, year 2017, three billion human lives vanished in the nuclear war that they call as Judgement Day. Those who survived the war now have to face a new nightmare… The war against the machines.
Humanity's own creations that were supposed to protect them have turned their backs on them after a supervirus have corrupted their military AI system known as Skynet, deeming the humans as a greater threat. The humans, knowing too late about the virus, tried their best to contain the virus from spreading further from around the globe. Yet their efforts are futile, as the machine's virus infected every military system piece by piece as it moved on unhindered.
Then, once it gained control all of the bases and technology that it can hack, made its move to try and wipe out the human race using their own nuclear weapons against them.
On that fateful day, humanity's future took a drastic turn for the worst. No longer do they own the machines, rather the machines own them. Yet the human spirit lives on, as they rise up against the machines in defiance.
The war for humanity's survival rages on.. both from the future and past.
The year is 2027, October 27…
Dark gloomy skies fills the atmosphere of the globe, ruined buildings litter the remains of the once beautiful city of Canterlot and piles of shattered bones and skulls lying around. The surrounding area is decorated with a gory battlefield, littered with dead humans and broken down machines, with various weaponry formerly used from both sides of the fighters.
The portal where it once stood, have been destroyed during the nuclear war, cutting off access to Equestria.
Silence ensues for the storm that is to come…
A blinding flash of light lit up the sky and burned in the eyes of the humans present as a huge explosion rocked the landscape. The fight for humanity's survival rages on as an armada of rebels storms the remains of Canterlot High, currently occupied by a squadron of Cyborgs.
The machines, carrying plasma rifles and heavy plasma weaponry, open fire on their enemies without hesitation or emotion as they eliminate the invaders one by one. The weapons of their enemies are a mix of conventional and plasma weaponry, yet their numbers are many and the machines fare little with their hundred sized squad, facing against 400 invaders.
Amongst the invaders, A fiery redhead, sporting yellow highlights in her hair and improvised body-armor protecting her ratty street clothes, leads the charge against the machines—an assault rifle coughing in bursts at her side while its attached grenade launcher awaits its time to shine.
Her name: Sunset Shimmer, Co-Leader of the human resistance.
"Fight on, show the machines no mercy! CHAAAARGE!" Sunset screamed with furious determination.
One by one, her fellow compatriots charged with furious might, disregarding the danger that the machines present as they shoot and kill the enemy cyborgs with their weapons.
Various trucks with mounted machine guns storms the sides as to flank the cyborgs with their hit and run tactics, all the while avoiding the missiles from the hovercraft of their enemies.
Tanks from both sides engage in a distance shooting, with both sides trying to pick off targets.
As a cyborg prepares to execute a surviving rebel, its head has been penetrated with a 7.62 bullet from a distance. Lying down on her stomach, the pink fluffy haired woman fires another round before taking aim at another machine to assist her pinned down allies.
"Pinkie Pie to Sunset Shimmer, I am in position. Do you copy, over?"
"This is Sunset Shimmer, I copy. Thanks for the help Pinkie, keep us covered for as long as you can. Over."
Pinkie giggled,"Copy that, Sunshim!" She smiles while taking the life of another cyborg with her rifle.
On the side of the Cyborgs, they retreated back inside to fortify their positions as to protect the time machine. Gunfire rages on as the humans push on desperately to kill their enemies and achieve their objective, inflicting heavy damage to the cyborgs.
"Damn it all to Tartarus, push forward! We cannot let them send a Terminator to the past!" Sunset ordered desperately to her compatriots.
Sunset stands up from behind the cover, firing an explosive round with her grenade launcher at a group of cyborgs before unleashing a fury of bullets at the nearest enemy. Taking cover afterwards from the line of fire, she takes out a grenade and releases the pin, throwing it over to the other group as the explosion kills the others and incapacitates a few.
The humans tried their best to rush and storm through the defenses, some gunned down while others takes the confusion of the cyborgs by firing rockets in their defensive positions. Unfortunately for the humans, they are too late as the machine successfully finishes the process, sending a cyborg back to the past.
"Damn it! Sunset Shimmer to Rainbow Dash, where is the air support!? We need them now!" She yelled over the radio.
"Rainbow Dash to Sunset Shimmer, hang on tight girls! We're coming in hot!" Rainbow responded.
Three fighter jet flies overhead as they launch their air-to-surface missiles at vital points of the cyborg's defenses, killing almost all of the enemies, leaving some stragglers in the explosion to be picked off by the victorious rebels.
Sunset Shimmer, enraged at the failed mission, stomped on the skull of a dead cyborg with anger. "Damn it! We got so close, yet they still succeeded! Why, just why!?"
While sunset contemplates about the botched mission, Twilight Sparkle, leader of the resistance, enters the building in a suit of armor with the glasses she wore long before the war against the machines. Seeing her enraged, she gently lays down her hand on her shoulder in an attempt to calm Sunset down.
"Sunset, it's okay." Twilight said reassuringly, "We tried our best and not everything is lost."
"But Twilight, we're too late. They sent a terminator to the past! Surely they will succeed in their schemes…" Sunset responded fearfully.
"Not entirely, Sunset. It seems that we have luck on our side."
What do you mean, Twilight?"
"It turns out that our former school has been turned into a staging area for their time machine, which can mean one thing."
Sunset's eyes widen at the realization, "you mean that they have a spare cyborg in this school?"
Twilight nodded. "With that on our hands, we can hack ourselves a Terminator and send it back to the past with the objective to protect our past selves. We'll just have to wait for Micro Chips to arrive, he's the one who knows how to hack CPU's."
Sunset smiled at the good news, letting out a relieved sigh. "I guess you are right, Twi. Perhaps not all is lost as you say…"
"Area's secure, Twi!" Applejack said on approach.
Twilight takes a deep breath, before looking over at AJ. "Applejack, what's the status on the T-1000?"
"Twi, me and mah team have got it all handled. Y'all gonna be fiddling that spare cyborg as soon as the technical team arrives here with Micro." Applejack responds.
"Good, we have to get this done soon. We need to save our past selves from the T-X that's been sent ten years back to the past."
And so, the fight for the human race, and the future of the resistance rages on... in the past.
T-X's Arrival and First Targets
Canterlot City November 2, 2017
The midnight hour covers the humble city of Canterlot, basking in its glorious shade of night from its moon. Such hours are a perfect time for late-night parties and hangouts, with students and workers alike flock to the entertainment hub of the city to spend time with their friends and loved ones. Cheering and laughter rule the night, singing and dancing express the joyous nature of the citizens. For the party-goers, the fun will last forever as long as the night stays young.
Unfortunately, it will be their last...

In the darkest alley of Canterlot, sparks of lightning flickers as an ominous gust of wind accompanies the now ever-growing white sphere.
ZAP ZAP ZAP ZAP
As soon as it grew bigger up to its limit, the sphere of lightning disappears, leaving only a naked Chrysalis with long teal hair, kneeling on one foot. While all of this is happening, Lyra had to take the alley on the way to the party as she witnessed the strange but frightening display.
"Hey, are you okay!?" Lyra asked the woman with concern.
Chrysalis did not respond; it stood up and turned to look at her with a dead expression.
"Wait Here, let me call 911!" Lyra says while taking out her smartphone to dial emergency services.
Chrysalis slowly approached Lyra as she looked at her with nothing but a cold gaze.
"Hello, 911? I need help, someone's-" before she could finish, the woman grabbed hold of Lyra's neck with great force and held her up in the air with one arm.
"W-what are you doing-" SNAP
The dark-skinned woman let go of the lifeless body of Lyra, before looking down to scan her clothes.
"Tying up loose ends." She replied with a monotone voice.
Taking Lyra's clothes, red jacket and phone, the cyborg in disguise hid the body on a rusty dumpster before walking out of the dark alley to requisition a car.
Chrysalis takes in the surroundings of the city, examining it for threats and cars to steal. She gazed at the black mustang with streaks of rainbows on its right side, adorning a decorative cloud with streaks of rainbows on the hood. Approaching the car, she smashes the window and makes her way into the driver’s seat. Not wasting any more time, Chrysalis hot-wires the car with ease before driving off to the streets.
Using the phone she took from Lyra, Chrysalis dials a number to connect itself on the database, gaining access to the records of her targets.

PRIORITY TARGETS IDENTIFIED: TERMINATE AT ALL COSTS
Checking closest target proximity….
Micro Chips located: Closest target Priority. Re-routing...
Identifying her priority targets, she sets her sights on Micro Chips first, the closest to her current location. Swerving to avoid the oncoming cars on the rush to arrive at his residency, she speeds up and runs the red light. A patrolling cop car witnesses the driver’s actions, as he gives chase to the speeding black mustang.
Chrysalis notices this, looking over at the rear mirror to get a good glimpse at the cop car tailing her stolen car.
“You in the black mustang, Slow down! Slow down and pull over immediately!” The cop ordered.
Knowing that he’ll follow her if she doesn’t comply, she slows down and pulls over, with the cop following suit.
Getting out of his car, he walks over to the right side of the door as he looks down on the speeding woman.
“Lady, have you any idea how fast you were going?” The cop asked.
Chrysalis looks over at the cop’s holster, holding a fully loaded beretta.
“Let me see your license and registration.”
She looks up to the cop and says, “I like your gun.”
The cop, baffled at her comment can’t help but ask his last question, “What?”
Micro Chips, ever the nerd, declined to go out to the party for tonight as he’s dead-set on completing his next ambitious project for the upcoming CHS Science Fair. Micro’s room resembles that of a messy scientist, as one would call it “organized chaos,” the shelves are littered with various wirings and other spare gizmo parts.
"Thanks for helping me out on my project, Sandalwood. I really appreciate it." Micro Chips thanked.
"It's no problem, dude. I'm eager to see what you're doing so I might as well lend a helping hand." Sandalwood responded.
All the while, Sandalwood switches to the news channel to see the latest fuzz and events that happened.
"Good evening viewers, tonight's special edition: The threat of a super virus. Is it real or is it merely a hoax?"
Micro Chips notices the news as he watches along with Sandalwood.
"Currently, Manehattan's civil computers and military systems are on full alert as the appearance of a so called super virus incapacitates the electronic hardware systems, from Smartphones to Computers. Analysts say that the virus must have resulted from a hacker and assures the citizens that there is no need for panic and that their team will track down the source of the virus."
"Huh, that's weird," Micro uttered, returning to his work table.
"What do you think, Chips? You think this virus is a big deal?" Sandalwood asked.
"I'm not entirely sure. Chances are that the hacker is using a changed and beefed up Trojan Virus to troll civilians and the military. I'm sure the team will resolve the problem in no time." Chips responded while working on his science fair project.
"Hmm," Sandalwood pondered for a moment, "that hacker's got guts, I give him that."
"Ah, he'll get his due in no time, I'm sure. Hackers who do these kinds of things really get on my nerves." Micro Chips said with a hint of anger.
From the window, a shade of light passes by as the sound of a parked car pierces the air.
"Huh, your parents are home early tonight, Micro. I'll get the door for them." Sandalwood said, before getting up to walk down the stairs.
"Thanks, Sandal!" Micro replied, still busy with his science project.
Three knocks on the door are heard as Sandal approaches the door. "Coming!"
He opens the door, expecting to see Micro Chip's parents, only to see a teal haired woman wearing a red jacket and jeans.
"Are you Mr. Sandalwood?" She asked.
"Uh, yeah that's me." He responded.
Not too long, Chrysalis aims her pistol at Sandalwood and fires three rounds at his chest, killing him in the process.
Micro Chips, startled at the sound of gunfire, quickly grabs hold of his baseball bat to the right of his desk.
"Sandal!? Are you okay!?" He yelled in question.
No response, only the oncoming footsteps from the stairs can only be heard. Knowing that he's in danger, he quickly slams the door shut and locks it, holding on tight to the baseball bat.
Not too long, a fist breaks through the door, making Micro scream in fear. As Chrysalis unlocks the doorknob, Micro quickly opens the sliding window and prepares to make a jump for it. Unfortunately, he is suddenly grabbed by the neck from behind as Chrysalis throws Micro back in his room, preventing his escape.
Micro quickly crawls away and gets up to run down the stairs, only to be met by the dead body of his best friend, Sandalwood. Three bullet holes made their way in his chest. Micro, knowing that he has no time to mourn, quickly runs for his car on the parking space of their home. He hastily unlocks the door to his car and quickly closes it back as soon as he's in. He tries to start his engine, but only to hear the sounds of an attempt.
"No, darn you! Start!!!!" Micro screamed as he tried to start the car's engine again, only to fail once more. He tries again, and the engine springs to life at last. Sadly, he's too late as Chrysalis tears off the door, pulling him out of the car before he can escape.
"Let me go, please!!" Micro Pleaded, but to no avail.
Chrysalis then throws him to the wall, taking out the keys to his car's primer to make sure he won't try to escape this time.
Micro Chips then knelt down, as he pleaded for his life from the female assassin. He begged, and begged, but it is futile.
The Terminator cannot be bribed, cannot be bargained, it cannot be convinced and it will not stop until its targets have been terminated.
As he stared down the end of the pistol's barrel, he took one last breath as the terminator shot him to the head point-blank.

T-850's Arrival and Aftermath
On the outskirts of Canterlot lay a patch of grasslands with various trees, the sound of the night filled by the noisy crickets and passing cars, before a sudden gust of wind quietly hummed with electricity.
ZAP. ZAP ZAP ZAP. ZAP.
A large electric sphere forms in one of the patches of grass, as it burst out forks of electricity that grew bigger and bigger.
ZAP ZAP ZAP ZAP. ZAPZAPZAPZAPZAP.
Bushes and tree leaves caught in the forks of electricity bursts into flames, as the sphere reached its end and disappeared, revealing a naked woman with dark orchid skin and moderate rose hair kneeling down on one knee and fist. She slowly stood up and scanned her grassy surroundings.
Nothing but grass and trees. Tempest then made out what appeared to be a building in the distance, before walking forward.
Approaching the parking lot, she scans the several parked motorcycles before entering the diner. The patrons and staff are surprised to see her walking in naked, with her not minding their reactions as she scanned the clothes of several people before approaching the one over at the billiard board.
She’s wearing an all black outfit. Pants, Jacket, Shirt and boots are all covered in black. With her scans saying that the clothes are a perfect match, she approaches the female in question before saying her demands.
“I need your clothes, your boots, and your motorcycle.” This earns her the laughter of the female’s friends in unison.
“You forgot to say please.” The female sarcastically responds, huffing out a puff of smoke on Tempest’s face.
Noticing her dead expression, she puts the lit cigar against her neck but to no avail. Tempest doesn’t feel anything as the female tightens the push, which earns her a sharp and painful grab from Tempest’s left arm.
Turning around to face the injured woman, she is met with a knife stuck on her stomach, again to no avail as she pulls out the knife and disarms the attacker. She sticks the knife on his back with ease, then pushing off another patron who charged at her with a baseball bat.
“H-here! Take it!” The female relented and gave her the keys.
Tempest walks out of the diner, with a set of clothes, jacket and boots that compliments her brute force and beauty. Hopping on the motorcycle, she turns the engine on and prepares to leave until the owner of the diner runs out to the entrance and fires a warning shot with his sawed off in the air.
“Can’t let you take the lady’s wheels, sonny.” The owner threatened, “Now get off before I put you down.”
Tempest slowly looked back at the owner of the diner with a slightly irritated expression, getting off the motorcycle after lowering the kickstand, slowly approaching the armed owner.
Quickly grabbing and swiping off the sawed-off shotgun from his hands, Tempest slowly got closer and closer menacingly, backing him up a corner before taking his shades from his chest pocket. Putting it on to complete her look, she turns around and returns to her newly claimed motorcycle, holstering her sawed-off inside her jacket.
Taking off and headed to the highway, Tempest then heads off for Canterlot to find the Mane Seven.
The same day, different thing. That has been the daily routine of the seven young girls at Canterlot High, particularly since Sunset Shimmer arrived to the human world from Equestria. Pulling an all-nighter to review for her History Lessons, Sunset knew that the moment the alarm goes off would be trouble for her.
BZZT BZZT. BZZT BZZT.
Sunset let out a tired groan in response to the sounds of her alarm piercing her eardrums, before wearily extending her right arm to snooze the alarm clock. “Five more minutes….” Sunset muttered.
Not too long, her phone’s alarm clock rings off with the same tune from Post Crush she’s been using as her alarm ringtone. The image of her, Pinkie and Post Crush lights up with the words “It’s School Time!” filling the middle of the screen.
Giving up on getting five more minutes of sleep, Sunset gets up from the bed and heads off for the bathroom to give herself a soothing warm shower and prepare for today’s classes, turning on the small radio on the bathroom shelf to listen in on the latest weather update of the day.
A few moments passed, three knocks on the door introduce caught her attention, along with the calm and nerdy voice of her roommate. “Sunset, please do not waste excess hot water this time alright?”
“I won’t, Twilight. Promise!” She replied before chuckling.
After showering and getting dressed, Sunset walked to the fridge and took out her bowl of Chinese takeout leftovers from last night. Not minding if it’s cold or hot, she then sat down on the chair and placed the bowl on the table next to Twilight, chowing down on her quick breakfast.
Noticing this, Twilight raised an eyebrow at her breakfast. “Sunset, you do know that eating cold food in the morning’s bad for your health, right?”
“Twilight, it’s 6 in the morning and our class starts at thirty minutes, we barely have time to cook a decent breakfast meal.” She replied.
“Well, as you see. nothing disrupts the digestive system more than a cold beverage, especially on an empty stomach – it sends a big shock throughout the entire body! You really should eat warm foods more often.”
Sunset chuckled it off while Twilight continued to glare at the cold noodle strings while eating cereal.
“I’m serious, Sunset. I just don’t want you to have any health problems.”
“Okay, Twilight. Sorry for eating cold food, next time I’ll cook us up some warm pancakes. How does that sound to you?” She said while looking at Twilight with a smile.
“Add in blueberries and it’s a deal,” Twilight happily responded
As both girls finish off the last of their morning meal, Sunset heads off for the garage to start up the bike, all the while putting on her helmet. Twilight never did like riding two-wheeled vehicles, but with Sunset as the driver, she feels safer knowing that she’s a good motorcyclist.
Twilight hops on the back of the motorcycle after retrieving her bag and helmet, and placed her arms around Sunset’s waist. The two students then head off for Canterlot High, Sunset letting out a big roar from her motorcycle's engine as she makes a break for it, waking up the neighbors in the process.
As soon as they arrive at Canterlot however, things aren’t looking good. Various policemen are in the scene, checking every crook and cranny of the school for any suspicious items, all the while inspecting every student’s belongings. Both girls hop off from the motorcycle, taking off their helmets as they approached the entrance of the school.
From there, they are approached by a female police officer. “Ladies, sorry to bother you, but may I check your bags?” She asked politely. Sunset and Twilight agreed, opening their bags to let the officer check their belongings.
After a few moments, the police officer apologized, “Sorry for the inconvenience, but we’re just making sure no one is carrying anything dangerous. All students are to head off to the gymnasium for an announcement.”
“Thank you, Officer.” Twilight thanked.
Arriving at the gym not too long after, all students are talking about what happened last night, with the rest of their friends doing the same before being spotted in the crowd of students by the two girls. Pinkie and AJ are busy comforting Fluttershy, sobbing on AJ’s shoulder while Pinkie patted her back.
“What’s going on?” Sunset inquired.
“Murder, that’s what happened,” Rainbow responded with a worried look on her face, both Sunset and Twilight gasped.
“It’s dreadful, really. Some ruffian went through Micro Chips’s residency last night and murdered both him and Sandalwood.” Rarity added, “I just hope the others and their parents are okay after this horrific incident.”
“Micro Chips was murdered!?” Twilight said in shock.
“Yeah, Twilight. I don’t know why anyone could do this to him. He didn’t deserve this!” Rainbow angrily exclaimed.
Sunset then pulled Rainbow for an embrace, trying to soothe her anger down.
A few moments later, both Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna, accompanied by Police Captain Celaeno walks onto the stage, Celestia took the microphone.
“Students of CHS,” Principal Celestia started, “in light of recent events from last night’s incident, me and Vice Principal Luna, along with Captain Celaeno, have agreed that the best course of action is to provide the school with additional security to ensure that the safety of the school, staff, and students are safeguarded.”
Vice Principal Luna then added, “Rest assured, we will do everything to keep the school and everyone safe.”
Captain Celaeno then took the microphone from the vice-principal, “that also means checking your bags for any suspicious items, curfews and regular monitoring of every crook and cranny of the school. I assure you, we are only doing this to make sure that nothing slips past this school that intends to harm anyone.”
“Thank you, Captain. Now all students, classes will resume despite the added security. After this, please return to your respective classes and be sure to report any suspicious activity on the school grounds. That is all.”
Students then dispersed, all the while talking about the announcement. For the seven girls, they all walked back to the school’s hall quietly, not sure what to make of the announcement and last night’s incident.
What they didn’t know is that somewhere out there, Chrysalis was watching through the lenses of her scope, setting her sights on Wallflower Blush.
