Nocturnal Bats and Gentle Caterpillars
A Bashful Breakfast
Previous ChapterEpilogue
The rise of the warm morning day and sunlight showed Fluttershy in the kitchen as she prepared breakfast for the young foals sleeping upstairs. The mare hummed softly to herself as she flipped the pancakes in the pan, plates and bottles of syrup and orange juices on either side of her. All around her living room, and kitchen, small critters could be seen scurrying about, tending to their own meals, including for a certain bunny. The aroma of food and flowers could be smelled in the air, bringing a pleasant feeling of contentment to Fluttershy as she began setting her table. Any animals that were on it obediently left, allowing their master to set the food onto it that was clearly not meant for them.
“Alright my little friends. I’m going to have to ask you to not touch any of this, okay?” Fluttershy asked, her tone gentle, yet firm. “This is for the two little cuties who’re having their sleepover upstairs, so please don’t do anything to them. If I find that any of you have decided to even nibble on this, you’ll be given my Solar Stare. Do you understand?”
The veterinarian’s teal eyes flashed a faint orange as she said this, getting little nods form the mice, squirrels, rabbits and all the other animals in the kitchen. With a satisfied smile, Fluttershy nodded back and went to fix her own plate. As she did so, her ears perked when she heard the sound of a door opening, followed by the clip-clopping of hooves.
‘Looks like they’ve finally woken up. I suppose they wanted to cuddle with one another for a little while.’ Fluttershy thought, smiling a little as she turned to the stairway, only to pause when she saw steam flowing down. ‘Wait, is that steam? The only way that could happen is…is if…’
It was at that moment that Fluttershy realized that Sheton and Scootaloo may not have been cuddling for as long as they thought. A smirk came to her face as she realized that the teens may have decided to get a little naughty with one another while they were cleaning themselves. Fighting back a giggle, she watched as they both emerged from the stairs, both their manes wet and their fur poofy and messy. They both smiled and greeted each of the animals that scurried up to them, even as they sat at the table, big fluffy robes wrapped around them.
“Good morning Fluttershy~.” They both said softly, one of their forehooves reaching over to wrap around one another.
“Good morning Sheton, Scootaloo~.” Fluttershy cooed, walking over and planting a kiss on each of their foreheads, making them giggle. “Did you have a good night’s sleep last night?”
“Uh-huh, we sure did!” Sheton chirped, one of his fluffy ears flicking. “I’ve never felt such a peaceful sleep in my life! Scootaloo’s bed is really soft and comfy. Just as comfy as my own!”
“Well, that’s good to hear honey. I’m glad that my little Loo-Loo’s bedroom was able to help provide you so much comfort~.” Fluttershy said, winking at her little sister, who promptly blushed and looked away. “Did you have a good sleep as well Scootaloo?”
The bright orange filly nodded. “Yes, big sister. I did. It felt really g-good to have Sheton with me in bed last night.” She looked over at her coltfriend and smiled lovingly at him, her eyes shimmering with love. “He’s a really wonderful cuddle buddy to have. And he made me feel extra comfy in the bed.”
“If I recall, it was you who was cuddling with me. Not the other way around Scootaloo.” Sheton countered, playfully booping at Scootaloo’s nose. “I was so drained from our little session, that you ended up letting me snuggle into you, and boy did you feel good!” She leaned in and nuzzled noses with her, running a hoof down her side. “And when I saw you felt good, I mean you felt oh so good~.”
“S-Sheton! Not in front of Fluttershy!” Scootaloo gushed with a blush, gently pushing his hoof away as her wings ruffled. “Do you really wanna talk about what we had done last night in front of her? How do you think she would feel?”
Before Sheton even had the opportunity to feel guilty, Fluttershy waved their fears away. “Oh no, it’s fine Loo-Loo. I don’t mind at all. I’m okay with you guys talking about the little session that you had last night.” She said, smiling warmly, yet slyly. “As a matter of a fact, I just so happened to see you two going at it~.”
The silence that washed over the kitchen was so thick that the foals sitting at the table could’ve been statues rather than living breathing ponies. They, along with all of the animals in the kitchen went quiet, the animals themselves slowly turning to Sheton and Scootaloo, both of whom looked absolutely flabbergasted. Their eyes were as wide as the plates in front of them, their pupils shrunk in their irises as their faces burned.
“W… what d-did you say b-big sister?” Scootaloo stammered endlessly, her lower lip quivering. “I-I c-could’ve s-sworn y-you s-said…”
“I… think she d-did Scootaloo…” Sheton murmured, gulping as he shook a bit. “S-she said that…!”
Fluttershy nodded, reaching over with both hooves and caressing the thestral colt’s face, even as he shook in his seat. With a tone that carried as much slyness as her face, she asked, “So, did you two have fun last night~?”
Neither foal said anything, too overcome with shock and embarrassment as they stared gobsmacked at Fluttershy, their pupils shrunken to tiny little pinpricks. Fluttershy herself let out a mirthful laugh, silently enjoying the embarrassment her little sister and his coltfriend were going through.
“I know that you did. I could hear you two all the way from my bedroom~.” Fluttershy said before the foals could say anything. “Not that it really bothered me. It just took me wearing some earmuffs and I was able to sleep like a baby.” Her wings ruffled as she slowly ran a hoof down her mane, doing so in a way that made Sheton blush harder. “Although, my little Cumulus was a bit of a different story. The poor bunny could hardly stand all of that moaning and screaming, even with me cuddling with him. He got so angry that he tried to hop in there and make you stop it for good. Why, I even heard him say about he was going to bite Sheton’s little package off if you two didn’t stop fucking each other like, well... little bunnies~.”
A rattling of the table suddenly drew Sheton’s attention away from Fluttershy, and he found himself looking into the eyes of Cumulus himself. The angel’s forepaws were wrapped around his chest, his little black eyes boring holes into Sheton’s emerald blue ones. Even though he felt no shred of fear looking into those eyes, it didn’t make him any less embarrassed. He became even more bashful when he saw the looks the other animals were giving him. Ranging from shit-eating grins, thumbs up, slow claps, and looks that said, ‘good job bro’.
‘Oh, sweet Faust above! They’re even worse!’ Sheton thought, his face flushing blue before a squirrel scurried up to him. Wearing the same grin as the other animals, he raised his paw up to him, the gesture all too familiar to the colt. With a whine he shakily raised a forehoof up and let the squirrel clap it.
“Ass…” He muttered as the squirrel scampered away.
“You two went at it for quite a while. I thought that you guys were never going to stop.” Fluttershy continued, brining both foals’ attention back to her. “I even got up from my bed and went to close Scootaloo’s door when I saw you guys asleep.” She winked at Scootaloo again, her long pink tail flicking. “Well…one of you asleep~.”
“I…I-I see…” Sheton murmured, biting his lip as he gripped the utensils in his hooves. “W…w-we’re sorry a-about keeping you up F-Fluttershy. W-we didn’t m-mean to make s-such noise w-while w-we were…w-were…”
“Y-yes! W-we’re really sorry!” Scootaloo whimpered, looking up at her sister with shaky eyes. “I should’ve c-closed the d-door, o-or something. T-that way y-you wouldn’t have…”
“No, no. It’s okay. I’m not upset.” Fluttershy cooed soothingly. “I know how it feels to be caught up in the bliss known as sex, and not care what happens. Trust me. I know the effects that can have on your mind. So you’re not alone.” A blush of her own came to her face. “Just try not to leave the bedsheets so dirty, okay? When I went to close Scootaloo’s door I happened to see your mixed juices all over the covers.”
Scootaloo looked away, nodding as Sheton poked his forehooves together. “Y-yes…of course…w-well be sure to b-be more attentive next time.” She looked over at Cumulus with an apologetic expression. “A-and…I-I’ll be sure n-not to m-make s-so much noise to d-disturb you C-Cumulus.”
The white bunny said nothing, just glaring at Scootaloo with just as much contempt as Sheton, before turning around and going back to his food. Fluttershy looked at him with disapproval shining in her eyes, before shaking her head and looking back at the foals.
“Good, I’m glad that we can avoid these little embarrassing situations in the future, especially when you two decide to have fun together,” Fluttershy said sweetly, giving a satisfactory nod as she too sat down at the table and focused on her breakfast. The kitchen was washed over with a warm comfortable silence as the trio sat and ate, the animals joining them as they chirped and squeak every few minutes. For up to fifteen minutes, nothing was said, and Sheton and Scootaloo felt that the embarrassing moments were over. That is until Fluttershy’s mischievous side decided to add one more jab to her sister and, hopefully, future brother-in-law.
“Although, try not to have too much fun with each other, okay little ones?” She said smoothly, and all too innocently. “I don’t want to have a little niece or nephew too soon in the future.”
Sheton’s eyes bulged, his head moving forward to spit out the orange juice he was drinking, right into Fluttershy’s smirking face. The clanking of utensils hitting the floor followed as Scootaloo dropped them, her head snapping up to meet the dripping wet face of her sister. The sound of chirping and squeaking creatures made up for their non-responsive postures as they stared gawking at the grinning pegasus. At least, until they finally managed to express their embarrassment, doing so with just one single word.
“Fluttershy!”
Author's Note
Well, here you are guys, the ending conclusion to the sweet little story of the Gentle Caterpillar and the Nocturnal Bat
!!! This was honestly pretty fun to write, especially since I was already planning something like this to happen in one of my series of the Guardians of Harmony, soon to be Knights of Equestria. Though due to the fact that it was going to be a rewrite of the whole series, I wasn't going to be reaching it anytime soon so...I decided to do this instead
. Good thing I did, cause I felt this whole thing lifted off of my shoulders so...yay for me
. Don't know if I'm going to be doing another one like this, but, I'll leave my mind open for ideas
. For now, I'll just leave this one out so you can all read it in its loving tender cuteness![]()
