Fluttershy's Apartment

With a relaxed sigh and coo Rarity felt her stress, anxiety and some of her pent up aggression ebbing away as Fluttershy massaged and worked her joints, her shoulders, back and down to her legs. "And we'll make sure you look as 'dazzling' as we can! We might not be Aloe and Lotus but we'll do our best." Fluttershy said with a cute smile as she came back with curlers, a hair dryer and a couple of Rarity's favorite hair accessories as she always kept some stashed at each if her friends houses in case of emergency.

Rarity felt tears come to her eyes and she smiled and said. "No. You're not Aloe and Lotus. You're better. You're my friends and if there is anyone I trust more than Aloe & Lotus to make me look FABULOUS? It's you girls."

Sunset, Twilight and Fluttershy all smiled at one another and back to Rarity and nodded in total confidence. It wouldn't be the first time they'd been entrusted to do Rarity's makeup as she would never again trust Rainbow, Applejack or Pinkie to do it. That in mind each of them sprung into action with Twilight using her magic to handle multiple different things at once.

Rarity would close her eyes and allow time to flow forward, allowing her friends to work their magic figuratively and literally on her nails, toes, hair and face as they were doing her make-up as well as her hair. One would think that Rarity was going to far, that doing all this was unnecessary. Surely when she got home she had no intent on having a big elaborate dinner; no she had long since eaten and she knew Adagio would have as well.

'Perhaps a shared treat and a stiff drink?' Rarity giggled to herself as she continued to daydream. Sunset gave an impressed whistle. "I'm almost a little jealous Adagio gets to love on something this pretty."

"Hey!" Twilight pouted.

"Hehe oh you know I only have eyes for you Twi but c'mon! Look at how good we did."

"Okay point taken." Twilight blushed.

"You look amazing Rarity. Adagio is going to love what she sees when you walk in." Fluttershy affirmed with a confident nod and she held up a mirror to Rarity and was happy to see that Rarity was happy with the results.

"Have I ever told you girls I love you dearly?" Rarity stated plainly.

"You could stand to tell us a little more sure." Sunset snarked playfully which got her a playful spank on the butt from Twilight.

"Oh behave you." Twilight said with a smirk.

"Mmm make me." Sunset grinned back at her.

"To quote Rainbow Dash? Get a room you two." Rarity chuckled as she got up from the couch and her friends stood up with her.

"Well you are about to go do the same after you grab your clothes out the dryer so I guess we can do the same. Cool if we leave Spike and Ember here for the night? They're all tuckered out it seems." Sunset asked Fluttershy whom was already cleaning things up.

"Oh of course, they are due for their vet appointment tomorrow anyway so its for the best. Oh and Rarity if you could bring Opalescence sometime next week that would be perfect."

"Of course darling I will send you a text when I am going to bring her. Alright time to go get dressed. Thank you so much darlings. Ta-ta. Oh! And do leave me a couple of those little pills you mentioned will you darlings?" Rarity said with a wave to her friends as they left Fluttershy's house through the front door and out to Sunset's car and drove off.

Shortly after that Rarity made her way to the laundry room and pulled her attire from the dryer and sighed happily as the smell of the fabric softener used to give her clothes a comfortable feel to them.

"Twas was a scam I say! Why how could you possibly try and limit the use of my favorite word? For shame on you darling!" Rarity said teasing as she left the house laughing as Fluttershy did. As she made her way to her car she felt her phone vibrate and she smiled as she looked at the time and saw that it was time: 6 pm. A text from Adagio with a video attached. She pressed play as she sat behind the wheel and started her car.
