Scootaloo's Saga

It was a cold, stormy night on the streets of Ponyville, a peaceful, friendly town. There was no one around except a mysterious pony with a black cloak and a hood that covered her face, and with it carried a small basket in her mouth. She approached the Ponyville Orphanage and set the basket in the door. The young pony opened the basket and inside it was a small pegasus filly. Her skin was orange, her mane was purple-pink, and her wings were tiny. The filly opened her eyes revealing that they were a bright purple. The young pony smiled sadly as she took the foal carefully from the basket, and hugged her.

"I'm sorry, I really wanted to be there for you ...... But unfortunately I can not ..... But I want you to know that I love you.And no matter what I will always be there for you. " The young pony said crying as she hugged her colt tightly. She should not have been more than 16, and honestly she was not ready to raise a filly by herself. The filly smiled at his mother who returned a sad smile. She kissed her foal's forehead and put it back in the basket. She was ready to leave until she heard something that made her heart melt.

"Ma ..... Mama ..." the foal tried to say, the pony's eyes widened and he did his best not to cry.

"I'm really sorry, you're going to be put in a much better home than I could give you." The young pony said, and with that she ran off leaving the foal at the orphanage's door,
Until the doors opened revealing one of the ponies working at the orphanage. Amethyst Star. When she noticed the young filly, she took it carefully in her arms and looked around to see if anyone was around. As she did not see anyone she came back into the orphanage with the young filly .....

(Scootaloo POV)

My name is Scootaloo, I have been an orphan since I was a baby, I live in the Ponyville orphanage, almost nobody knows it, the only ponies I trust to tell this are: Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom and Rainbow Dash. Only they know that I am an orphan, I do not know how I would say that to the other ponies, I do not know what they would think of me.

I woke up from a deep dream and I thought this had been the strangest dream I ever had. I dreamed of a pony leaving a baby in an orphanage. I was only asked if this was a reminder of my past or just a conciseness. I yawned and straightened my hooves before starting to get up and leave the room. I went out the door of the orphanage and walked to the Crusader club.

"Hello Scootaloo!" Said Sweetie Belle inside the club, I did not answer. I entered the club and sat in a corner, with a thoughtful face.

"An? Scootaloo?" Apple Bloom said

I immediately get out of my thoughts.

"Excuse me, I was not paying attention," I said in a half-serious tone. Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom looked at each other.

"Are you sure you're all right, Scoots? You look kind of pensive today," Sweetie Belle asked, nodding.

"Yes girls I'm fine, I'm just kind of ..... Confused," I said.

"Confused? With what?" Asked Apple Bloom

"Well, tonight I had a rather strange dream ... I dreamed of a pony leaving a baby in an orphanage. I do not know if it was just my head or a memory of when I was a baby" I said

"Well, I guess you should not have dreamed about it, maybe it's a memory," Apple Bloom said.

"Do you remember what the pony of your dream was like?" Sweetie Belle asked, I shook my head.

"No, I could not see her face .... But I wanted to, I think this pony of my dream could be my mother .... I wanted to meet her in person and know what the reasons were. of her having abandoned me .... "I said

"Well, maybe if we asked Miss Amethyst who works at the orphanage where you live, give her some information," said Sweetie Belle

"Yes, and if all goes well we could help you find your mother!" Said Apple Bloom, I immediately opened a huge smile on my face

"Really? Would you do that for me?" I said with tears in my eyes.

"Of course Scoots! We're all friends, and we should help each other," Sweetie Belle said.

I ran up to them and hugged them.

"Thank you so much girls!" I thanked

After our embrace the three of us ran out of the club with our Crusaders uniforms, to the orphanage

"Maybe I'll finally meet my mother!" I thought hopefully

Now I have a new mission.

And that mission was to find my biological mother

Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and I were standing in front of the Ponyville orphanage, then we approached the door and opened it.

"You're ready?" Apple Bloom asked me, I nodded.

"Yes, more than ever!" I said. With that, the three of us entered the orphanage.

We walked the halls of the orphanage looking for Amethyst Star, she worked in the orphanage since I was a baby, and I was hoping she would know something about my real mother.

We kept walking until finally we saw her, so my friends and I ran to her.

"Miss Amethyst !!!" I shouted, and turned to me and said,

"Hi Scootaloo, are these your friends?" She said, I nodded.

"Yes these are my best friends: Apple Bloom and Belle Sweetie"

"Nice to meet you Miss Amethyst!" Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle said in unison.

"Pleasure is all my girls, but what brings you here today?" Amethyst asked

"Well Miss Amethyst, we would like to know if you know anything about my biological mother? Since you've been working here at the orphanage for years, I hope you knew something," I said.

Amethyst shook her head and said,

"I'm sorry Scootaloo but ..... I do not know anything about your mother or who she was, I'm sorry," she said.

I lowered my ears sadly at the answer.

"But you have no clue that can help our friend find her mother?" Sweetie Belle said

"Well, maybe I did ... when I found you at the Scootaloo door, you were wrapped in a kind of blanket that's only made in Cloudsdale."

"Cloudsdale?" Apple Bloom asked

"Yes, if you want I can give you the address where it's made," Amethyst said.

"Yes, please Miss Amethyst!" I begged.

She nodded and went to the counter and took out a paper and a pencil and began to write.

"Here is the address, good luck in finding you guys and Scootaloo do not come back late okay?" She said and I nodded.

With that I and the Crusaders ran out of the orphanage and we went to the place where maybe we would find our next clue. Cloudsdale.

But I only had one problem

How would we get there?

(Rainbow Dash POV)

I was flying under Ponyville after a long day of practice at Worderbolt Academy, until I noticed three filly talking about something on the ground. And it seemed to be serious. I decided to go to them and ask what was going on.

"Hi, girls." I said as I landed on the floor and started to walk towards them. Scootaloo was the first to notice me and said:

"Hi Rainbow Dash, we were just trying to figure out a way to go to Cloudsdale," she said.

I was surprised

"Why do you want to go to Cloudsdale?" I asked suspiciously.

"Scootaloo really wants to know who his biological mother is, and our next clue is Cloudsdale," said Sweetie Belle

I narrowed my eyes, certainly not expecting it. Now.

"Well ... I understand your search interest but .... Are you sure you want to do this?" I asked nervously. She nodded

"Yes Rainbow Dash I'm sure! I really need to know who my mother is and what were her reasons for which she put me in an orphanage" Scootaloo said

I sighed and calmly nodded.

"Okay, this is a right you have, and if you need any help you can count on me okay?" I said quietly

"Yes I need your help, can you help us get to Cloudsdale?" Scootaloo said pointing at her and the other Crusaders. I nodded.

"Yay !!!! Thank you so much Rainbow Dash!" She said as she hugged my front paw. I was surprised but I returned the hug.

"Now Up Next Cloudsdale Stop!" Said Scootaloo

(Scootaloo POV)

Rainbow Dash took Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and I to Cloudsdale, to find the blanket maker that was left with me when I was abandoned. Before we come here we ask Twilight to give us a spell so that Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle can walk in the clouds, I'm bringing a bag and inside it is the blanket for the manufacturer to identify and can give me a clue about my mother .

After a while we finally got to the address location.

"Well you guys can come in, I'll stay out here waiting," said Rainbow Dash. Me and the other Crusaders nodded and walked into the room.

"I hope everything works out," said Apple Bloom.

"Yeah, me too," I said.

A pony receptionist noticed us and said,

"Hello, what can I do for you today?" The receptionist asked.

I took the blanket from my bag and showed it to her.

"Well, would you know about this blanket?" I asked her to show her the blanket.

She took the blanket and inspected it.

"Well, my young lady, I only sold a blanket like this, it was about 8 years ago," said the receptionist.

"And do you know if it was for a pregnant pony or had a small daughter at the time?" Sweetie Belle asked

"I do not remember very well, but ..... She seemed pretty desperate at the time. If she was really pregnant or had a baby, I think you'd better check it out at Cloudsdale Hospital," she said.

"So that's it, our next stop is at Cloudsdale Hospital! I said as I and the Crusaders ran out of the hospital.

"Hey girls, how was it?" Asked Rainbow Dash

"We got one more clue about my mom, it's at Cloudsdale's hospital!" I said

"Do not you think you're taking it too far?" Said Rainbow Dash

"No, I really need to know who my mother is, and I will not give up until I find her," I said decisively.

"She looks like me when I was her age ..." Rainbow Dash thought

"Okay, so let's go to the hospital," she said.

"Yay!" I said

(Rainbow Dash POV)

I was flying under the three filths while we were going to Cloudsdale Hospital. I was a little nervous about it .... But I knew this was a right that Scootaloo had.

We kept walking until I bumped into a pony.

"Oh, I'm sorry-" I stopped talking when I realized who I'd run into. He was a pale blue stallion in navy mane and his eyes were emerald green.

It was soarin

"I'm sorry too- do you expect Rainbow Dash?" He said

"Soarin?" I said

"What are you doing here?" He asked how he helped me to my feet.

"I was just going with these three filths to Cloudsdale Hospital," I said.

"The hospital?"

"Yes, my little sister Scootaloo wants very much to know who her mother is, and I could not say no"

"Rainbow Dash, who's this? Is it your boyfriend, Wonderbolt?" She said in a smile. My eyes and those of Soarin widened.

"Soarin is just my friend," I said.

"I know," Scootaloo said.

"It's true I and Rainbow Dash are just great friends," Soarin said.

"Fine, if you say," she said.

"Guys, we need to go," Apple Bloom said.

"Yes, of course, I'm coming," I said, and then I looked at Soarin.

"Well I need to go, then we'll see you at headquarters," I said.

"Well, if you want, I can help you with your quest," he said.

"Wait? Really?" I asked surprise

"Of course! I would be very happy to help Scootaloo find her mother!" He said with a smile

"Yay, that's cool, two Wonderbolts helping out!" Scootaloo said enthusiastically.

"Okay, okay, all help is welcome!" I said looking at Soarin.

"Come on, ponies!" Said Scootaloo

Then she and the other Crusaders rushed to the Hospital and Soarin and I flew right behind.

(Scootaloo POV)

Me, Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, Rainbow Dash, and Soarin walked toward Cloudsdale Hospital, and as I walked I felt someone nudging me. I turned to see who it was and it was Rainbow Dash.

"What was Rainbow Dash?" I asked

"Are you sure you want to do this?" She asked me with a worried face.

"Yes," I said as I continued to walk

Finally we had arrived at the Hospital, we stopped at the door and Rainbow Dash said:

"You three girls can go, I'll stay here," she said. I was confused.

"Why?" I asked her.

"Uh, for nothing ... It's because I do not really like hospitals, that's all," she said.

"Are you sure Rainbow?" Soarin asked

"Yes Soarin, I have," she said.

"Well ... So I'll stay here with you, just to keep you company, you little ones can go, we'll be waiting here" He said with a smile

"OK!!!!!" Me and the other Crusaders said in unison and then we went inside the hospital.

"Oh Soarin, you're sweet" Rainbow Dash said

"We tries to be does not he?" Soarin said with another smile

Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom and I were inside the hospital and one of the nurses walked up to us and greeted us.

"Hello, what can I do for you?" She asked

"I wondered if ..... At about 8 years old a pregnant pony was here," I asked.

"Well dear back then there were a lot of pregnant ponies, could you give me more details?" She asked

"Well, if there's no way to know about the pony, do you at least know if a baby named Scootaloo was born here?" Sweetie Belle asked

"Just a minute, honey, I'll check," she said, and we nodded.

She searched and searched through the birth certificates in the closet until she finally found the certificate with my name. She walked over to us and gave us the certificate.

We opened it and started to read but had nothing on my mother. It was as if she wanted to remain anonymous.

"Ah ..." I murmured as I sadly lowered my head.

"We're sorry Scootaloo," said Apple Bloom hugging me.

"Alright ...." I said sadly.

(Rainbow Dash POV)

I was outside the hospital with Soarin waiting for Scootaloo and the Crusaders coming back. And honestly I was not really liking this quest ....

Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom emerged from the hospital with despondent faces, Scootaloo was the one who was the most discouraged. And I had already realized that they did not have much success in there.

"Girls? What happened?" I asked

"Unfortunately we got no clue about the biological mother of Scootaloo" said Apple Bloom

"Yes ..... I was so confident to find my mother but .... Looks like it was not meant to be ..." Scootaloo said with tears in her eyes

Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom hugged her as she cried.

I looked at them and then at Soarin, and I could tell that I was bad for Scootaloo. I did not know what to do at that moment to comfort her until something came into my mind.

"Shh, calm Scootaloo do not cry, look if you want, you do not need to go back to the orphanage today, if you want you can sleep in my house for a while," I said softly to her. She looked at me and approached me.

"Are you serious Rainbow Dash?" She asked a little surprised. I nodded.

"Of course .... You're like a little sister to me ... And I'd be happy to welcome you to my house," I said.

She quickly ran up to me and hugged me.

"Thank you Rainbow Dash," she said with tears in her eyes, I smiled and hugged her back.

After a few seconds we finally broke the embrace. And Soarin came and whispered in my ear.

"You did very well Rainbow, congratulations"

I looked at him and said,

"Thank you Soarin"

After that I realized that it was getting late and that Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom needed to go home.

"Girls, we better get back to Ponyville, Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom, I'll take you home and Scootaloo I'll tell Miss Amethyst you're going to spend a few days with me," I said and the Crusaders nodded, I turned to Soarin.

"Well Soarin, thank you for coming with Agent today, but now we need to get back to Ponyville," I said.

"You're welcome Rainbow, and if you want I can accompany you to Ponyville?" He asked

"Soarin does not need-"

"I insist"

"OK Alright"

He smiled and then we started toward Ponyville.

(Scootaloo POV)

I was going with Rainbow Dash to her house today, she and Soarin left Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom at their house and then we went to the orphanage to tell Miss Amethyst Star that I'm going to spend a few days with Rainbow Dash.

Soarin accompanied Rainbow Dash and I to the Rainbow Dash house and when we arrived we stopped at the door.

"Thank you for accompanying us Soarin" Rainbow Dash said

"Yes, thank you," I said.

He gave us a smile.

You've welcome girls, it was a pleasure to accompany you," he said.

"Well it's better Scootaloo and I come in, thau Soarin see you tomorrow at headquarters" Rainbow Dash said

"Alright, see you tomorrow Rainbow and even more Scootaloo" he said taking off to the sky

When he was gone I turned to Rainbow Dash and asked,

"Rainbow Dash?"

"Yes Scootaloo?"

"Are you sure Soarin is not your boyfriend?" I asked. Rainbow Dash's eyes widened.

"Of course not Scootaloo! We're just friends! She said

"Okay then," I said with a smile.

Then we both walked into the house and Rainbow Dash led me into the guest room and put me to bed.

"Are you comfortable Scoots?" She asked as she put the blanket over me.

"Thank you very much Rainbow Dash ..."

"You're welcome Scoots sleep well, anything is just calling me okay?" She said kissing my forehead

Okay, I said.

Soon after she switched off the lights and closed the door, getting ready to go to sleep.

The next day.....

(Rainbow Dash POV)

I was in the kitchen preparing breakfast and I could barely sleep tonight, I was thinking a lot about Scootaloo. This search for her biological mother shook my head. And now I was with a thought that might change my life and hers forever, so maybe she'll forget this quest ... I love her so much and I do not want her to get hurt.

My thoughts were cut off when an orange filly called me.

"Good morning Rainbow Dash, are you okay?" She asked curiously looking at me

"Oh, good morning Scootaloo, I'm fine yes, I was just thinking about a new trick nothing much," I said lying. She nodded and sat down to have breakfast.

I was serving breakfast for her until I heard a knock on the door.

"Who could it be?" I said as I went to the door and opened it.

"Good morning Rainbow Dash"

"Soarin? What are you doing here?" I asked

"I just came by to see if you and Scootaloo are okay, I was just leaving"

"Oh do not imagine, come in," I said, leading him inside.

Scootaloo saw Soarin and said:

"Hello Soarin, did you come to breakfast with an agent?" She asked

"Well if the Rainbow Dash does not care ....?" he said looking at me

"Sure! Why not?" I said with a smile.

"Yes !!!" Said Scootaloo

We finished the coffee and were on our way to Ponyville to take Scootaloo to school. I really was enjoying Soarin's company, he's been so friendly to me and I can say that Scootaloo already likes him, I'm glad that.

After a short flight we were in front of the Ponyville school.

"Good class Scoots !, I'll be here to pick you up later!" I said waving at her.

"Bye Rainbow !, Bye Soarin!" She said waving to me and Soarin as she hurried to meet her friends.

I watched her walk into the living room and I wondered. Soarin saw this and said,

"Are you okay Rainbow?"

"Yes, I was just thinking ..."

"I can know what?"

"Well .... With everything that's been going on I was thinking .... On adopting Scootaloo," I said looking down at the floor. Soarin approached me and put a helmet on my back.

"This is really a very noble gesture on your part Dash, and if you or Scootaloo need any kind of help you can count on me," he said softly.

I smiled at him.

"Thank you Soarin, that means a lot coming from you"

"Imagine, you are a great friend to me and I would do anything to make you happy"

We both started blushing and after that we flew to Wonderbolt headquarters.

After a great afternoon of practice at the Wonderbolt Academy, Soarin and I were flying towards Ponyville to get Scootaloo at school, Soarin insisted that he come with me to accompany everything, I'm glad he cares so much about me and Scootaloo and I even who was enjoying his company.

He and I approached the school and saw Scootaloo talking to his friends. When she saw us she ran up to us and gave us a big hug.

"How cool I did not know you were coming, too," she said, looking at him.

"Of course, yes, small!" He said smiling

"Well, we'd better go Scootaloo," I said, looking at her.

"Can I go to the club with Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle before coming back with you?" She asked

I looked at Soarin and nodded.

"Sure, you can go and I'll meet you later!" I said

"Yay! Thank you Rainbow," she said and then ran to her friends.

I watched her with her friends and smiled.

"You still do not want her to know about adoption, do not you? So you let her go with your friends?" Soarin asked me and I nodded.

"Yeah .... I guess it's still not the right time to tell her," I said and Soarin nodded.

"Do you want to go through with the adoption process now?" He asked

"Yes, I want to do this as soon as possible," I said.

"Got it, uh Rainbow? Can I ask you a question?"

"Sure"

"Why did you decide to take that decision to adopt Scootaloo suddenly? I'm not saying that you should not but ... just out of curiosity," he asked.

"Because .... I want her to have someone to take care of her with affection and I have a lot of affection for her ......" I said

"Okay, come on, I'll walk you," he said.

"Thank you Soarin," I thanked him smiling, he smiled back and with that we both flew to the Ponyville orphanage.

The adoption process went very fast. Soarin and I were at the orphanage where Scootaloo lived for the process. Miss Amethyst Star handed me some documents for me to sign and after it was over I finally had the Scootaloo guard.

"I knew you'd get Dashie!" Soarin said hugging me.

I blushed and hugged him back.

"Dashie?" Said looking at him with a smile

"Well yeah .... Dashie I think it suits you," he said blushing. I chuckled and said,

"Hehe, thank you, Soar"

"Soar?"

"Yeah, I think it's cute and suits you," I said blushing. He also began to blush and we looked away.

"Well, thanks Dashie," he said and I smiled.

"Well, we better get Scootaloo to tell you the news," I said.

"Right," he said.

(Scootaloo POV)

I was at the club with Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom and we were talking about new plans to help the ponies, when I suddenly heard someone call me.

"Scootaloo!"

"Looks like somebody's calling you Scoots," said Apple Bloom

"Yes I better go see who it is, just a minute girls!" I said as I left the club running.

"Rainbow Dash! Soarin!" I said as I ran to them

"Hi, little one!" Said Soarin

"Scootaloo, can I talk to you about something?" Rainbow Dash asked

"Of course! What is it?" I asked curiously

"So you're not going back to the orphanage anymore," Rainbow Dash said.

"What? Why?"

"Well, it looks like the coolest pony went by and ..."

My eyes widen, it could not be what I was thinking.

"Y-you .... A-adopted me ...?" I asked hopefully

"Yes Scoots, from now on you come and live with me!" Rainbow Dash said

I was not believing, I just got adopted by Equestria's coolest pony? This could only be a dream.

I quickly ran up to Rainbow Dash and gave everyone the biggest hug in her, she hugged me back.

I was very happy, but still I was not going to give up finding my biological mother.

It's been a while since I'm living with Rainbow Dash, we're not like mother and daughter, we treat ourselves just like big sister and little sister. But I'm happy the same way just thinking that my idol now has my guard already makes me more than happy, but still I still wanted to have a mother .... Not that I do not like Rainbow Dash taking care of me but ... All my friends (Exeto Apple Bloom) have mom and sometimes I wanted to know what that feeling was like.

My searches to find my mother are not over yet, I, Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom have been investigating this every day, but we still have not found anything that would take us to my real mother. But I will not give up.

Another thing that has been happening these days is the approximation of Rainbow Dash with Soarin, since the day I decided to meet my mother they do not disagree more, I think they love each other, but they do not want to admit it at all, so that's when I had the brilliant idea of putting the two together.

"I know Rainbow Dash loves Soarin and he loves her, but they're too shy to tell each other how they feel, I think I'd better give a little push on that ... I'd better call Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom for help me! " I thought as I ran out of the room to find my friends.

I was at the Crusaders club with Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom, I was talking about putting together Rainbow Dash and Soarin.

"I think a super romantic date would be great to bring the two lovebirds together," said Sweetie Belle

"But how are we going to make them go to the meeting? If we say it's a romantic date they will not," I said.

"Well, we could invent something urgent and then we would call them to help us" suggested Apple Bloom

"It's going to be kind of a surprise meeting!" How sweet, "Sweetie Belle sang.

"Okay, now it's time for the cupid operation!" I said

Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom and I just set up a super romantic dinner at Rainbow Dash's house and we were splitting up the chores of how to bring Rainbow Dash and Soarin here.

"Scootaloo you're going to get Soarin at Wonderbolt, Apple Bloom you're looking for the Rainbow Dash at Twilight's castle and I'm going to stay here and give you a few finishing touches on that romantic dinner. ! " Said Sweetie Belle

"OK!!!" Me and Apple Bloom said as we went out in search of the two young pigeons.

(Apple Bloom POV)

I ran into the Twilight castle in search of Rainbow Dash, I ran into the friendship map room and when I walked in I was: Twilight, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, my sister Applejack and Rainbow Dash.

"Rainbow Dash Fast!" I said running to her

"What was Apple Bloom?" Asked Applejack

"It's Scootaloo, she's not feeling well! Come on Rainbow Dash she needs your help!" I said

Rainbow Dash immediately came out of his throne I flew to me.

"Where is she?!" She asked desperately

"Come with me and I'll show you!" I said as I ran out of the room and she did the same.

(Scootaloo POV)

I was at the Wonderbolt gym dragging Soarin by the tail to the Rainbow Dash house.

"Scootaloo, what's going on?" He asked

"It's Rainbow Dash, she's in trouble! Please help me!" I said

His eyes widened.

"WHAT?" He said

"Yes, come with me and I'll show you!" I said as I ran to Rainbow Dash's house.

(Rainbow Dash POV)

Apple Bloom drove me home, the lights were off, and I was desperate for Scootaloo.

"Scootaloo! Are you here ?!" I screamed

"Calm Rainbow Dash, it should already appear" Apple Bloom said

"Apple Bloom, please tell me where she is-" I was cut off when a stallion and a filly entered the door of the house.

"Scootaloo! Soarin!" I screamed as I ran to them

"Rainbow Dash! What happened! Are you okay ?!" Soarin said wryly

"Yes, I am but I think it is Scootaloo who is not well! Are you well Scoots?" I said as I examined her

"Hey Rainbow Dash, I'm fine!" Scootaloo said with a smile

"Uh? I do not understand, did Apple Bloom come pick me up at the castle telling me you were not well?" I said suspiciously looking at the two frogs.
