SoarinDash : Wonderbolt Love
(Rainbow Dash POV)
It was another day of training at Wonderbolt headquarters. I landed in front of the thirst and just started thinking how good it was that I was invited to be an Official Wonderbolt. I was about to enter thirst when a voice stopped me.
"Hey Crash!"
I turned to see who it was, and I saw Soarin flying toward me.
"Hey Clipper, how's the routine?" I asked
He approached me and said,
"Okay, I guess yours too" he said.
"Yes, since I became a Wonderbolt everything has been great" I said.
"You always dreamed of being part of the team, did not you?"
"Yes, more than anything in my life"
"Well I can say that you deserved this vacancy, after all you are a very talented flyer"
"Thanks"
"CRASH! CLIPPER! YOU ARE LATE!" said an angry voice.
We turned to see who it was and we saw Spitfire flying up to us with a happy look
"Do you think you can get here at the time you want?
"Imagine Spitty we're already coming in, we just stopped to talk for a bit" Soarin said.
"That's no excuse, NOW JOIN THE TEAM'S REST!" She screamed
We nodded and flew to the headquarters where the other Wonderbolts were assembled. And I was wondering what the meeting was about.
Suddenly Spitfire switched on the microphone and started talking.
"Well, Wonderbolts, today we will have a double activity, it's about flying double, so I'll tell the teams: Rapidfire with Fleetfoot, Lightning Streak with Misty Fly, Wave Chill with High Winds, Surprise with Blaze, and Rainbow Dash with Soarin, now you can begin to prepare! " She said
After that everyone started to go find their team mate, I was standing there when a hull touched me from behind. I turned to see and it was Soarin.
"So you want to start training now?" He said
"Of course" I said
With this we set off towards heaven to begin the training.

"Great just a little more training and I think we'll be ready!" Soarin said as we landed in a cloud after a long workout.
"Yeah, this double-flying thing is easy, especially for an amazing flyer like me" I gowled.
He just smiled at me. Suddenly we heard lightning bolts in another non-Wonderbolts performance, and it was approaching us.
Two ponies of that performance approached landed right in front of us and approached us.
I knew exactly who it was, it was two members of the Washouts.
One of the ponies pulled out the performance helmet, revealing Lightning Dust.
"Hello Rainbow Dash and friend" she said.
"Argh, Lightning Dust, what are you doing here? You know very well that this is the training headquarters Wonderbolt do not you know?" I said
"Actually, it was Wonderbolt's thirst, the seat can only be occupied by flying saucers of great reputation, and by the way your reputation has dropped a lot since our arrival did not it?" She said
"Well ..." I tried to say
"Exactly, since you do not have a good reputation anymore I suggest you pack your bags and look for another place to be your headquarters, because that's now new owners, we" Lightning Dust said pointing at her and another pony who was still wearing a helmet

"Wind Rider" Soarin said in a low, dangerous voice.
"Hello Wonderbolts, did you miss me? I think so, especially after you put this thing you call the flying team on the team." Wind Rider said pointing at me.
I just bowed my head. Suddenly Soarin stepped in front of me and came to my defense.
"For your information, she's an incredible flying far better than you ever were" he said.
"Look how beautiful, Soarin is defending his new girlfriend, that pathetic" Wind Rider said
"Come on Wind Rider, I think we're done here, and you Rainbow Dash tell Spitfire that I sent her a hug." Lightning Dust said before she and Wind Rider left for heaven.
I just stood there just thinking about what just happened.
"Thank you for defending me ..."
"Imagine Dash, I could never let him speak those absurdities of you" Soarin said.
I blushed and smiled.
"Well, what are we going to do?" I said
"I do not know ... But for now we'd better talk to Spitfire, maybe she knew what to do" Soarin said and I nodded.
With that, we both flew to Spitfire's office at headquarters.

"What, is it serious, is not there any other way?" I asked Spitfire while Soarin and I were in her room telling about the Washouts.
"Unfortunately not, our image has dropped a lot since the arrival of them, and thirst can only be occupied by the best flyers, which in case they are now.Then unfortunately I will have to seder the seat" Spitfire said
"But something needs to be done, we can not let it all end like this" Soarin said.

Spitfire sighed and approached me.

With that I started flying out of the office.

I was flying everywhere in Cloudsdale in search of the Washouts. When I finally spotted Lightning Dust sitting on a bench and I quickly flew up to her.
"Lightning Dust" I said as I landed in front of her.
"Rainbow Dash, what a surprise to see you around here, what do you want? I think it's good that you have already given my message to our dear Spitfire" Lightning Dust said
"Yes, but I came here to deal with other things" I said.
"What things?" She said
I sighed and said
"I thought we would run a race to determine who is the best flyer in Equestria, after all if you want to take the place in the headquarters you have to prove to be really the best is not really"
"Maybe ... But what will you want with this"
"If the Wonderbolts win you, we get the thirst and you leave us alone for good, if the Washouts win you will be thirsty"
"Okay Rainbow Dash, I'm in. But I'll let you know, the Washouts are the best of the best"
With that we both played the hoofs signaling a deal.

"Mrs, I got a deal with Lightning Dust, and she and the Washouts are going to run a race against the Wonderbolts to determine who are the best flying men, whoever wins will get the seat" I said as I stood in the Spitfire room again
"Okay, I hope you knew what you were doing, the gym is up to you now Crash" she said.

(Rainbow Dash POV)
Today was the first day of training for the race against the Washouts, I was on top of a cloud in an open sky near Ponyville, just thinking about how things are going to be going forward.
"Did I make the right choice?" I thought
"Hey Crash!" I turned to see and saw Soarin flying toward me.
"Hi Soarin, what are you doing here? I thought you'd be training an hour like this" I said.
He rested on the cloud in which I was above, and approached me.
"So you're going to compete against the Washouts? You were really strong talking to the Washouts leader about it, it's really great that you care about the good of the gym" he said and I smiled.
"Well yes, I know we can still show that we're the best, I could not let it go"
"I know, but since we're going to get into a series of trainings, I was wondering if we ... You know ... If we could train together" he said
I blushed a little at that and nodded.
"Of course that would be great" I said.
"Cool" he said.
There was a silence between us for a few minutes until Soarin finally broke the silence.
"So, do you want to start training?" He asked me
"Of course I think better, it's good we prepare as soon as possible" I said and he nodded
"Let's go?"
"Yes"
With that we both set off to heaven to begin our training.

After a few hours of training we finally stopped and settled for a bit in a cloud.
"Wow ... I guess I've never trained that much before," I said.
"Me neither" he said.
"Well I better go now, I have to meet my friends, Bye Soar!" I said
His face flushed with that.
"W-What did you say?"
"Bye Soar"
"Ringing ... Wow ... a nickname ... That's ... Well cool from you ..." He said blushing a little
I started to blush too
"Well, since you gave me a nickname, I'll give you one too. Well, I guess I'll call you ... Dashie?" He said
"Wow ... That's amazing ... I mean, it's usually just my friend Pinkie Pie who calls me that, I would never expect to be called that by a stallion, it's so ... Different ... and ... Beautiful ... "I said blushing deeply.
We both started to smile at each other and then looked away
"Good I better go, even more soar!" I said as I flew out into the sky.
"Up to Dashie" he said.

(Soarin POV)
Finally the race day was coming up against the Washouts, I was still a bit nervous about all of this, not just me but all of the other Wonderbolts, after all it was a very big pressure. But I think we're going to do a good job, after all, we train a lot.
Because of these trainings I was very close to Rainbow Dash, and it was one of the best things that ever happened to me, I mean, she's an amazing flyer, a great company, a great friend .... And beautiful ...
Okay, I confess. I've had a crush on her since the incident with Wind Rider. It was there that I realized how lovely, funny, amazing and undeniably beautiful she is.
I never had the courage to tell her about my feelings for her. And it makes me feel bad every day, it's difficult for me to hide my feelings from her, it might be that soon she finds out, but now the best thing I had to do now was concentrate on the race, the gym depended on it .

Finally the day of the race arrived, and I was very confident, after all I had a hand trick. The Washouts and I combined to use ajatas wings to win the race, just to prevent the future.
"Rolling Thunder, did you and the Wind Rider have their wing wings?" I said
"Yes ma'am"
"Great"

I was near the headquarters bleachers along with the other Wonderbolts and Washouts. We were getting ready for the race. My friends were sitting in the stands supporting the Wonderbolts.
"So Rainbow Dash, are you very nervous?" Twilight asked
"Of course not, I'm Rainbow Dash, I never get nervous, I'm sure we'll make it" I said.
"You're sure the Washouts seem pretty confident" Fluttershy said.
"Oh that, of course our Dashie and the Wonderbolts will do it! GO WONDERBOLTS!" Said Pinkie Pie
I just smile
"Crash is on time, stay in your position," Spitfire said as she prepared all the other Wonderbolts that were going to compete.
"Okay ma'am!" I said as I flew to my position.
I was standing in my position when a pony called me
"Hey Dashie"
I turned to see and saw Soarin walking towards me.
"Hi, Soar, anxious?" I said
"A little bit, but I think we'll make it, after all we train a lot" he said.
"Yes"
After a few minutes Spitfire blew the whistle signaling the start of the race. It was a tough flight up because I noticed that the Washouts were faster than ever, I did not understand how that was possible. But the result of the race was that the winners ended up being the Washouts
"But how?" I said disagree with what just happened.
"Well Rainbow Dash was pretty obvious, the Washouts are and always were the best, now the gym is ours, right Spitfire" said Lightning Dust
Spitfire took a deep breath and said,
"Well it's the just, you can take now it's yours" she said.
The other Washouts began celebrating their victory while the Wonderbolts and my friends were disappointed with the outcome of the race.
"No, it can not be! I can not believe I failed" I said with tears starting to form in my eyes.
"Dashie was not your fault, if this happened it was because it had to happen, do not worry I still think you did very well" Soarin said trying to comfort me
"No, I still knew I had to try harder" I said.
"Do not worry, you were amazing and even now that we've lost the academy, we're still going to stand together and support each other, we'll fix this situation quick" he said.
I just smiled and nodded, I really had nothing to talk about at that moment

"Wind Rider" I said approaching an Ex-Wonderbolt
"Spitfire how's life going, well by the way not very well is not it" Wind Rider said with a sarcastic laugh at the end, I just rolled my eyes and said:
"It's serious Wind Rider, I did not expect you to leave one team to get into another" I said.
"Well that logically was the best thing I did, I wasted a lot of time when I was still a Wonderbolt, now I know what my real place is" he said.
"Okay, good luck on your new journey" I said.
"I will not need it" he said.
After that he flew to the other Washouts to celebrate their victory again.
I was still unhappy with Wind Rider's return, especially now that he's in the Washouts.

Two days passed after losing the gym, Spitfire was trying to keep everything in control but found it difficult, the other Wonderbolts were not sure what to do, how would it be going forward? Would the Wonderbolts end? Honestly, I had this thought too.
Now I was sitting on a cloud watching the sunset in a place not far from where the academy was. I was thinking of everything that was going on, and I was also thinking of a certain baby blue stallion.
Soarin. He's always been so nice to me, and now we're getting so close, I feel we're closer than ever.
My thoughts were cut with a stallion approaching me.
"There you are" said the stallion as he lay down beside me. This stallion was Soarin, my thought of the moment.
"Hi Soarin, I was just here weighing how it's going to be going forward" I said.
"I was thinking about it too, but do not worry it's going to be all right, Spitfire is doing his best to make things better with the Wonderbolts, especially now that we're out of a seat" he said.
"Yes, Soarin? Do you think the Wonderbolts can end?" I said
"I do not know Dash, but I hope that will not happen" he said.
"Yeah, it really is not easy for anyone, and I feel like it's all a fault, I mean, if I had not gone to Lightning Dust, things could be a lot better now, and maybe we would not have lost our thirst" I said sadly looking down
"Do not blame Dashie, things always happen for some reason, plus I think we'd lose our thirst anyway" he said.
"Maybe, do you think we can do something to improve everything?" I said
"I think so, maybe if we talk to Spitfire she could tell us how we could help improve everything" he said.
I immediately opened a huge smile on my face.
"You're right, Soar, we can really find a way to help thirst, you talk to Spitfire that I'm going to meet some ponies who might be able to help us, so partners?" I said extending my helmet to him, he smiled and touched my helmet

I was in the castle of friendship talking to my friends about the question of the Wonderbolt academy. My friends and I were trying to find a way to fix the whole situation.
"So girls that's why I need your help" I said as I sat on my throne in the map room along with my friends.
"The situation of the Wonderbolts really is not good, is it?" Applejack said
I nodded eagerly.
"Well I think we could find a way to help them, right Twilight?" Rarity said
"Of course, we can think of a way to make things better for them, and I even know where we can start" said Twilight
"Where" I asked curiously.
"We could first organize a show just to show how much the Wonderbolts are also talented, and we ourselves could be in charge of the preparations" said Twilight
"Sure, that's going to be great! I loved that idea!" Said Pinkie Pie
"Yes, certainly help the Wonderbolts a little, then we could think of other ways to help them" said Fluttershy and they all nodded.

"That sounds great, I talked to Spitfire and she said there was not much to do now, but now with this news I'm sure she'll appreciate it," he said.
"Yes ..." I said.
With this we stand side by side watching the sunset for a while. Everything was quiet.

I was watching the sunset, and at the same time I was looking at Rainbow Dash. I could not help but look at her, she looked so beautiful with the light of the sunset, in fact she was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.
And I stayed like this for a long time watching her. She turned to me when she realized the way I was looking at her. I tried to do my best to hide the blush on my face.
"Soarin? Are you okay?" She asked me
"Yes, I was just watching .... Sunset, that's it" I said.
"Good" she said.
Soon after we watched the sunset again in silence, until after a while she began to move and rise from the cloud.
"Well I have to go bye Soar, I'll see you tomorrow, so I can count on you in the race?" She said
I smiled and answered
"But of course, Bye Dashie" I said.
Then she started flying away, and I just watched her fly.
"Why do you have to look so beautiful in everything you do?" I thought
After a while I also started to get up and go home. And I had better prepare myself, because I had a race to come.

(Rainbow Dash POV)
Everything was going as planned, finally I and my friends were able to perform the show. Spitfire was very grateful for the idea of the show, and the Wonderbolts were very happy about it.
Soarin however was helping me a lot too, he has been such a good friend to me. I do not know why but I feel pretty good when I'm near him, I just do not know what that feeling is inside me.
Now I was in the same place where the leaves were running a few years ago, along with my friends, the Wonderbolts and some ponies from Ponyville who came to watch the show.
I was a little nervous, but I think we can do it.
"Hey Dashie" said a voice
I turned to see and saw Soarin
"Hi Soar, looking forward to the race?" I said
"A little bit, I hope everything gets better after this race" he said as he approached me.
"Yes, we all expect this,l" I said.
"Attention ponies the show will already start, so in their positions" said Twilight with the megaphone
With that all the Wonderbolts went to their positions and prepared for the match. After a few minutes Twilight gave the signal and we dashed off to the obstacle course.
Everything was going perfect, all the ponies were loving the show and they kept jumping from their seats to shout fangirl things.
After a while we finally crossed the finish line, and guess what came first? Me, but of course!
"Congratulations, Dash you won and look you and your friends managed to give a show" said Spitfire
"Thank you, I was just doing my job" I said.
"You were amazing Dash" Soarin said
"Thank you, you were amazing too" I said.
"Maybe, but not as much as you" he said.
"I know it's not me, I'm very amazing, are not I?" I got dressed
He just started to smile and look at me with a silly expression on his face, I was suspicious.
"Soarin, are you okay?" I asked
Suddenly he came out of the trance and returned to his normal expression
"Yes, I am I was just ... Uh ... I do not know" he said blushing deeply
Suddenly Pinkie Pie came jumping on me and giving me congratulating on the race.
"Yay !!!! Eeeeeee goes there Wonderbolts !!! You were amazing Rainbow Dash!" She said on top of me
"Uh, thank you Pinkie, but now can you get off of me?" With that said she left me
"Look what a great Rainbow Dash, things seem to be going well for the Wonderbolts now" said Rarity
"Yes thanks to you, thank you very much girls" I said.
"No Rainbow Problems" said Applejack
"But then Rainbow, who is this? It's your new boyfriend" Twilight said looking at Soarin
Soarin and I blushed deeply and shook our heads.
"No, we're just friends" I said.
"Are you sure it's not something else?" When we talked about him his eyes flashed" Fluttershy said.
"Yes I'm sure, by the way we're late right Soarin?" I said looking at him
He nodded and we both flew to where the other Wonderbolts were.
But on the other hand I think my friends were right. Maybe I really do have feelings for Soarin, or maybe I do not want to admit them.

I was at a flower shop buying a bouquet of roses, I was planning on giving the Rainbow Dash. My great love, I was planning to invite her out, and tell my feelings to her.
"Thank you miss" I said to the pony florist.
"Whatever it is I'm sure she'll like" pony florist said
I nodded, and with that I started flying toward Rainbow Dash's house.
When I got to the door of her house I put the bouquet of flowers behind my back and knocked on the door.
"I hope she likes it" I thought.
Then the door opened revealing Rainbow Dash.
"Hello Soarin, what are you doing here?" She asked me
I still had the flowers behind my back, so I quickly handed them to Dash.
"These are for you, then .... uh ... Dashie ... I was wondering if ... I know the day is so beautiful if we uh ... Want to leave?" I asked shyly
She blushed, turned her head back, and lifted her left hull.
"I would love Soarin ..." She said
I smiled and spread my helmet for her to get mine. She happily picked it up and then we both left for heaven.

We both landed in front of a Ponyville restaurant and I offered a helmet.
"My Lady" I said.
She smiled and took my helmet.
"Hehe, aww Soarin" she said.
Then a garson came up to us and said,
"Hello sir and miss, what can I do for you today?" He asked
"We'd like a table please" I said.
He nodded and started to lead us to a table in front of the windows of the restaurant, where the sun reflected and the sunset could be observed.
"Miss" he said, pulling the chair toward Dash.
"Thank you" she said as she sat beside me.
"Would you like to order something?" He said
"Yes, two made hay salads and two apple ciders" I said.
the garson noted this and headed for the kitchen to take the order.
There was a silence for a while, until finally I resolved to break the silence.
"So Dashie .. Uh .... Beautiful day is not it?" I said. I obviously did not know what to say at that time, I was very nervous in front of the love of my life.
"Yes, thank you for bringing me here" she said.
"You're welcome" I said
Then the garson came back and brought our orders.
"Bon appetit" he said.
After that he left, and Dash and I began to eat.
Dinner was great, everything was just perfect. Then suddenly Dash took some of the hay made on his muzzle without realizing anything. I laughed with that.
"What's the fun?" She asked
"Well you have something on your nose" I said.
When she noticed the fried hay on his snout she quickly cleaned it but could not take it all
"Here let me help you" I said as I leaned down a little and took the hay from her snout.
"Ready much better, but I have to admit you looked pretty cute with hay on your snout" I said.
"Oh stop, I'm not cute" she said.
"Of course it is, you are beautiful"
"I'm not, stop calling me that"
"Cute"
"Soarin"
"OK, I stopped"
After a while dinner was over and I took her home.
"Thank you for everything. It sounded awesome" she said.
"You're welcome" I said
Now I had to do this was now or never, I was about to tell her that I love her but ...
"Uh Rainbow Dash .... I just wanted to say that ...." I started
"What Soarin?" She said
"It's nothing, well I'd better go" I said.
"Uh ok then, Bye Soar" she said.
"Bye Dashie" I said.
With that she entered the house and I was almost killing myself for not being able to tell her the truth.
"Damn Soarin, you were almost there" I thought.
After that I started flying away, just thinking about Dashie.

I was struggling to get to sleep, but I could not do it at all.
I was busy thinking.
Thinking of a certain blue-baby stallion.
"Argh, what's happening to me? Because I'm thinking of him so late at night"
I got up and went to the kitchen to have a glass of water
"Who knows if I catch a flight tonight I can sleep" I said.
With that I started flying out of the house.

I landed on a cloud and thought of Soarin over and over.
"Damn, why can not I stop thinking about him? He's just a good friend to me, I really like him but so? I'm not exactly what I'm feeling right now but ... I think I really like him .. Not just as a friend, but something more .... Argh! Because everything has to be so hard! " I thought
Suddenly a hull touched my back and I turned to see who it was and saw Soarin.
"Soarin? What are you doing here at this hour?" I asked confusedly.
"I was just sleepless, I thought a night flight was going to help me sleep, so I found you around here" he said.
"Yes, I was also sleepless" I said.
Then he lay beside me in the cloud and we both stared at the moonlight for a long time, until a breeze of wind hit us and I began to tremble and move closer to him.
"Are you ok Dash?" He asked me
I blushed as I realized what position I was in, so I went back to my original position.
"W-Well I just ... I was cold but now I'm fine ..." I said shaking a little.
Soarin then wrapped his wings around me and pulled me closer to him. I blushed at the gesture and did my best not to see him blushing.
"Why is he doing it? And why should I be feeling this way? Calm Dash is just a friendly gesture" I thought.

I was doing my best to focus only on the moon but Dash was on my mind. All I thought about was her.
Until it started to be late and I found her sleeping in me. I smiled at the scene and decided to take her to her bed.
I took her in my arms, flew to her house, and lay down on her bed.
"Good evening, Dashie" I said as I left the room.

I was sleeping peacefully in my bed when suddenly I heard a knock on the door. I yawned and started to get up and walk to the door. I opened the door and was surprised by who I was.
"Hello Rainbow Dash"
It was Lightning Dust
The captain of the Washouts
"Lightning Dust, what are you doing here?" I said
"I just wanted to talk about something with you, it's actually a deal" she said.
"You're joking if you think I'm going to make a deal with you, are not you? You better go away, okay? It's not enough for you to have taken out the Wonderbolts and now you want to torment us" I was about to close door when she said something that stopped me.
"As I was saying, you can have the gym back," she said.
"What?"
"That's right Rainbow Dash, but I want something in return"
"Let's talk"
"Well you can have the gym back only if... You open the way for the Soarin"
My eyes widened at what she said.
"W-What?"
"Think Rainbow Dash well, the Wonderbolts are awful without the gym, now you have the chance to change that, and I know you have a crush on Soarin, but as I said I also have some interest in him, so you open up the way to it, that then the academy is again the Wonderbolts, so what do you tell me? " She said
I was very hesitant now. I loved Soarin, but the Wonderbolts were also needing the gym back, I did not know what to do.

I took a deep breath and I had already made up my mind, I would probably be the most difficult decision of my whole life.

"So that's it, Lightning Dust said we can keep the gym back" I told Spitfire
"Wow, what a strange thing, but why did she agree to return the gym?" Spitfire said
"Well ... I do not know ... I just know she returned it" I said in a half-sad tone. I did not want to remind myself of the fact that I will never have the chance to stay together with Soarin, but that was for everyone's sake.

"Okay, but if you need anything, you can talk to me, okay? Besides, I forgot to tell you that our reputation has returned to good shape as before, all thanks to you and your friends who are helping us a lot" she said.
"This is great, well I'm kind of tired so I better go" I said.

I was at home arranging some Wonderbolt things, when suddenly I heard a knock on the door.
"Who could it be?" I thought
I walked toward the door and opened it, revealing a green pegasus of yellow mane.
"Hi, what can I do for you" I said.
"Hello Soarin, I'm Lightning Dust and I know we do not talk too much ... I feel that because of this we should get closer, you know, I used to admire you a lot, and I think we can be great friends if you let me of course "she said
"Well I think so," I said.
"Cool, so get out a little" she asked.
"Well I have nothing to do now so I guess so" I said.

It's been a long time since Lightning Dust called me out, I think she's cool and I feel she has a certain interest in me, but my heart belongs and always belonged to Rainbow Dash.
I was now flying with her through the skies of Ponyville.

"Dashie? What kind of name is this?" Lightning Dust said
"It's a nickname Soarin gave me why? Do you have a problem with that?" Rainbow Dash said
Lightning Dust shook his head.
"Well then what are you doing together?" Rainbow Dash asked curiously
"We were strolling together, Soarin is a really cool stallion, we're already great friends" Lightning Dust said
I raised an eyebrow at Lightning Dust.
"Oh right, well I'll be going" Rainbow Dash said as she flew away
"Oh Dashie" I thought.

(Rainbow Dash POV)
I flew over to my house, went into my room, and started to cry on my pillow.
"Soarin is with Lightning Dust now, they deserve it. Who said a pony like I would have a chance with him" I thought as tears came out of my eyes.
Now I was wondering if it was really worth changing the pony I love for the gym. I knew I did because the Wonderbolts need thirst, but otherwise I wanted to be with Soarin, too. I wish there was a way to solve this without harming anyone.

(Soarin POV)
A few days have passed since I first met Lightning Dust, and I knew she had a crush on me as I liked Dash, which for instance had been a long time since I saw her. It's been a long time since she last appeared in headquarters, I ask what's happening to her. I think I'd better see her today.
now I was strolling through the park with Lightning Dust for the sixth time this week.
"Oh Soarin knows, with all that has been going on between us, I feel like we can turn this into something else." Lightning Dust said
"As well?" I said suspicious
"Soarin, I'm in love with you" she said.
I was about to say something but the moment I did she put her lips on mine and began to kiss me madly.
I quickly pulled away from her with a serious but determined look.
"Look, you're very cool Lightning Dust but ... I like another pony ..." I said
"What, is this pony a Rainbow Dash?" She said.
I took a deep breath and nodded.
"Yes, I'm sorry ..." I said.
"It's not okay, I know no one is capable of loving me at all," she said with tears beginning to form in her eyes. I was feeling really bad, but I knew this was better than creating false expectations in the future"
"Do not say that Lightning, you're an incredible pony, and I'm sure you'll find someone one day, but that does not stop us from still being friends is not it?" I said
"Are you kidding me ?! Of course not, man, you just gave me a break, and you still want us to be friends, not really!" she said
after that she flew off into the sky.
And I was still in the same place, not knowing what to say. but now I knew there was a pony I needed to see more of.

I was locked at home, lying on my bed doing nothing. I just thought the stallion I love is with another mare. This was really shaking me a lot. After Soarin started dating Lightning Dust my life became a bottomless hole.
"Oh stop thinking about him Dash! He's happy with Lightning Dust now!" I thought
Suddenly I heard a knock on the door.
"Who could it be?" I thought
I got out of my bed and walked to the door. I opened it revealing a blue-baby stallion of navy mane.
"Soarin? What are you doing here? Should not you be with Lightning Dust now?" I said
"Dash, I need to talk to you about something I really should have told you a long time" he said.
"Go on" I said.

I took a deep breath and prepared to tell her what I always wanted to tell her. That I love her. And this time nothing will hold me back.
"D-Dash, I know this is not a good time and you're probably going to find me crazy or hate me forever, but I need to open my heart to you. What there is nothing between me and Lightning Dust, that you can be sure, but now I need to be honest with you Dash Since the incident with the Wind Rider a while ago, I can not stop thinking about you, that's where I realized how good, funny, loyal, fun Dashie, you're everything to me.And I just wanted to say it .... Dashie .... I ... I love you ... " I said blushing a little
There was a moment of silence between us. None of us made a move if we wanted to. Until I decided to take the next step.
I approached Dash and put a helmet on her cheek. She was blushing very strongly.

After that we leaned in for another passionate kiss. And this time he was much more in love because he showed us how we love each other.
After a while we finally broke the kiss for lack of air.

"Soarin but what about the gym?"
"What about the academy?"
"A while ago Lightning Dust came to ask me to give you up for her in exchange for the gym, I had to accept because the Wonderbolts depended on thirst, but on the other hand I would be losing you, and that really was a huge impact for me But now with all that has just happened I'm afraid she wants the gym back" she said.
I was shocked by that. So that was why she was so strange and distant from everyone these days.
"Why did not you tell me this before?"
"Like I said I did not want to harm anyone, and that was the only way to do it"
I sighed and pulled her into a hug.
"Do not worry it's going to be okay, I'm not going to let anything happen and you did not have to keep it all just for yourself" I said.
She lovingly caressed my chest and nodded.
Now everything was finally complete in my life. I finally got to confess my love for the pony I love the most in this world and the best of all was that she loved me back.
Everything was perfect, and nothing could change that.

Soarin and I went to Wonderbolt headquarters to start another day of training. And we took advantage and told everyone about the great news. Everyone was very happy for both of us.
"Oh my god, this is incredible, my OTP is finally together! Yay!" Said Fleetfoot
"You guys are really cute, it was pretty obvious that Soarin liked you Rainbow Dash" said Misty Fly
"Hey, thanks guys" I said.
Soarin smiled and put his helmet around me pulling me closer to him.
"I was so happy for you" Spitfire said.
"Thank you Spitty" Soarin said
Suddenly the door opened revealing the Washouts.
"You better pack your bags and get out of here, because this place is ours" said Lightning Dust
"Correction, this is our place" I said.
"None of this Rainbow Dash, our deal is gone, so I want to thirst back" she said.
"What agreement is this Rainbow Dash?" Asked Spitfire
"Long story afterwards I'll tell you. But anyway Lightning Dust, from what I know thirst can only be occupied by the best of the best," I said.
"Exactly, and we are ourselves" said Wind Rider
"In fact, the best of the best are, and it's always been us. Me and my friends have been able to win back the old audience before, so we're back to being the best. So that's it bye bye Lightning Dust" I said with a wink at the end
Lightning Dust was very angry at the time.
"This is not over yet Rainbow Dash!" With that, she flew out of headquarters along with the other Washouts, leaving the headquarters for the Wonderbolts.
"You made it!" Soarin said as he kissed me quickly on the lips.
"I'm not called Rainbow Dash with no reason" I said.
"You got Crash, congratulations. We all appreciate it" Spitfire said as she swayed my helmet.
I smiled and leaned in to hug Soarin heavily.
"You know it deserves a celebration, who's out to dinner tonight?" Said Spitfire
All the Wonderbolts raised the hull they did.
"Actually Spitfire, I appreciate the invitation but I'd like to spend tonight with Soarin, that's if you do not mind" I said.
"There's no way they can go, have fun pigeons," she said.
"Ready, miss?" Soarin said offering me the helmet. I smiled and grabbed his helmet.
"More than ever"
With that, we both left for my house.

Our night was going great. We were both lying on my bed, kissing passionately. We finally pulled away and looked into each other's eyes.
"I love you Dashie" Soarin said
I smiled and kissed her muzzle softly before answering.
"I love you too" I said.
"You know I can not even believe that I'm finally with you, you can not imagine how hard it was to spend all those years hiding my feelings for you" he said
"I imagine Clipper" I said.
Then we leaned for another kiss. We moan about the kiss and finally let go for lack of air.
After that I lay on his chest and caressed him softly. He put his hooves around me and put his head on my head.
After that we started to feel a sleep coming and then we both fell asleep in each other's embrace. While our hearts beat as one.
