For a second I thought that actually got us, but when I opened my eyes I saw Rarity shielding us with her crystal barrier. Just in time, you may say. I asked her where Steely Armor was but she didn’t answers. Trixie was piercing through our defense. Then Fluttershy arrived with two raccoons! It was as surprising for us as it was for Trixie. “So, when should I tell them to take it?” she asked softly. It was then that Rarity shouted: “JUST THROUGH THEM AT HER!” She did so, and they started to scratch all over her face, but in the end they couldn’t take the amulet from her. We didn’t know what to do. And it was then that Steely Armor arrived with his ECHO launcher, but it wasn’t just a spearhead, but a whole spear or staff. “Stand back!” he told us. “ You couldn’t just let me arrive!” “Of course not, if we hadn’t done something she would have-“ I was saying but Rarity cut me off. “JUST HURRY UP, I CAN’T HOLD IT ANY MORE! AAAGH!” she was saying as her barrier broke. She passed out on the ground motionless. And Trixie just started to compliment herself for doing so. “I...THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE will rule over the whole world and no one is strong and powerful enough to stop me.” Steely Armor sighed, adjusted his goggles and fixed his hat on his head, “ I guess it’s time for plan B.” Then he moved his fingers in the air as he was typing something. Then he held his staff tight and shouted, “As a matter of fact, I am!” “What!?” “I am here to stop you!” He then raised the staff, and two other Steely Armor showed up from the end of the hallway and they said the same things! “What is going on?!” I asked myself when I was looking at Twilight and Applejack. “Am I seein’ double, or is there actually two of him now?” Applejack said as she pointed at them. Trixie was confused and didn’t know what to do. She was looking from one Steely Armor to another Steely Armor again and again. Then they all started moving with their staffs in their hands and she was following all three of them with her eyes. Then one of them pointed his staff at her but she shot first and blasted him to the wall. But what he saw next wasn’t a human, but a skeleton! “Fluttershy Now!” Steely Armor shouted, and shot a beam from his staff which made Trixie freeze in place like someone pausing a movie. Then the raccoons took the amulet with ease. When he unfroze her everything was back to normal. “Wh-what happened? I didn’t mean to, I....I’m sorry!” I went to her and hugged her. “We know you didn’t, but you sure did some damage.” And it was then that Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Rarity woke up. “Did I just miss the cool part?” Rainbow Dash said as she looked at us. Then I thought to ask Steely Armor about the skeleton that was him! “So what was all that about?” I pointed at it. The one that shot the beam looked at me while the other one took the amulet from the raccoons. “Allow me to introduce you to the cloney!” the one with the amulet turned into a skeleton and stood next to him. This was just out of the ordinary. “So what is this exactly?” I asked. “Well, it has a hologram maker that allows it to make an ideal clone for anyone, and on top of that it has a voice changer to copy the voice of others. It has cameras that record images and voices, and a set of everyday communication, chess prediction factors and such.” And just when he said that I got the answer I needed. “So this is how you can be in two places at the same time!” “Yes, well ... Technically, I use it to attend all the classes that I want to have the lessons and information given restored, so I won’t miss anything. But now that I’ve shared it with you, you must promise that you won’t tell it to anyone!” “Don’t worry,” said Fluttershy,“ your secret is safe with us.” Then she smiled. “I have to say, that’s so convenient!” Twilight said with a very amused face. I don’t blame her. It does sound so convenient, though there was something else that needed to be asked. “And what about your ECHO Launcher?” He walked towards the remains of the other Cloney. “So you figured out the name. Actually, it’s called the ‘ECHO staff;’ the ECHO launcher was just the part that allowed the zero point gravity to be launched, but it needed a stabilizer to control the direction that the electromagnetic force needed to go. You only had the first part, and I doubt that you’ll be able to figure anything out from that blueprint.” He took a look at the damaged Cloney and continued. “I got the inspiration of it from Twilight. When she showed me what she could do with her magic, the idea popped into my head. It took me a year to make this thing work!” That was really fascinating, that he just crafted a device that could act like the magical power of Twilight and crafting robots to allow him attend all of his classes and record them. Twilight, Applejack and I were just staring at each other, though Applejack looked more confused than impressed but it still worth mentioning. Twilight and Applejack helped Rainbow Dash and Rarity to their feet and while I was helping Pinkie (which meant that I got a look at unique way her mind works), I suggested heading to out and tell everybody that everything was fine, but Steely Armor refused. “I better clean this up myself. You go and say you did it all; I’d rather stay unnoticed.” The other Cloney picked up the remains of its damaged self. Then they disappeared at the end of the hallway. We headed out and told everyone that we did everything, not Applejack of course, but that was what he asked for. And I respected his request. Though everyone was cheering I explained everything to Principal Celestia and how Trixie had got blind by the force of the Amulet. It turned out to be fine, but she still need to fix the damages she caused. Well, it was partly my mistake so I guess she won’t have to do it alone. Besides, I’ve done it before. But it was then that Ms. Dusty Fossils came out of the crowd. “I am not going to put up with this nonsense anymore! With all respect, Principal Celestia, I have to say that I won’t be staying in this school for one more minute. I QUIT!” Well, that actually wasn’t too bad, to be honest. But what I understood today was that, what enabled us to defeat Trixie wasn’t her lust for power, but the creativity and intelligence that Steely Armor used in order to confuse her and take the amulet. Sometimes you just need to think a little bit more creatively. Who knows, maybe even Trixie could learn a thing or two that way. Also, Steely Armor decided to hold the amulet. He promised he keep it somewhere safe. I sure hope so. Sunset shimmer, that was quite some challenge. But I am here to inform you that Zecora actually through the amulet in quick sand to prevent anyone from finding it. I wonder how it got there. Author's Note Stay patient for other stories. Today I decided to go out with Trixie and buy some stuff for her next show. We headed to the shop and checked some second hand goods, but something caught our attention: an amulet in the shape of an alicorn with a red gem at the center. Trixie was really interested. “Wow, this is just what I needed for my cloak! With it I will truly be the Great and Powerful Trixie!” The shopkeeper showed up with a devilish smile just when she said that. “Well. Well well, if you want it I should warn you that you must pay a steep price!” She looked for money in her pocket but she had spent it on smoke bombs and stuff. “I got you covered, here you go.” It was quite expensive, but we managed to buy it at last, though now I wish we hadn’t. She thanked me and then she told me about her big big show which I don’t have time to explain. So the next day, she set up her props on the gym stage and not surprisingly not many people came to watch, but just as she failed in one of her tricks, people started to make fun of her and then she just levitated them like Twilight levitated herself and her bunk at Camp Everfree! And now she’s just blowing the whole school down! Is it something to do with that amulet? Sunset Shimmer, This really is an emergency! What Trixie is holding sounds like the Alicorn Amulet, which the Trixie in this world also got hold of. I don’t know how it got to your world and I don’t have time to find my friend Zecora and ask her where she hid it. But one thing for sure, it’s a very strong artefact, and you better act quick since it is known to drain the holder of all kindness and fill them with evil darkness. You better take that thing away from her as soon as possible. But I just remembered: when I got the Amulet away from Trixie in my world, I didn’t use Equestrian magic but fooled her into just giving it to me for something she thought was more powerful. Don’t be surprised if trying to get it from her by magic doesn’t work; trying to use more and more magic is a dead end. I really hope I hear from you again. We’re all still here. Thanks to our new friends the crisis was taken care of. Let me tell you about it. As I said, Trixie became crazy powerful and now I understood how it happened. She was monitoring the halls and made anyone she saw bow before her. I managed to get myself out of her sight and hide in the Music Room, where Flaming Star happened to be. “Don’t you know how to knock? Also, what’s happening outside; is there a march in the halls?” “No, Trixie happened to get hold of an artefact that gave her magical powers and she’s now destroying the whole school!” “So why aren’t you out there with the girls doing superhero stuff?” “Well, first, I’m not the one who can hold crystal barriers or run superfast! And second, we all need to be together to be able to defeat her.” “Then go find them!” “I can’t as long as she is out there!” He stood silent for a second. “Look, the last time we decided to tag along with you, Steely turned into ice and I was in the middle of a SUPER MEGA MESSED UP situation! So you better get to the girls and take whatever is giving her those powers away from her while I distract her!” I was just stunned. I couldn’t make out if he was trying to blame us or help us. “And since you didn’t answered my first question, I’ll just show you how to knock!” Then he just blasted the door open with his fire and said, “ KNOCK, KNOCK.” “WHO’S THERE?” I heard Trixie’s voice from the hallway. “C’mon, can’t you make out who I am? I’m already indoors!” Then he started running and Trixie chased him. I took the opportunity that Flaming Star made for me and ran through the hallway. It was then that someone grabbed me and pulled me inside the Art Room! It was Applejack, and the rest of the girls were with her. “We were looking for y’all!” “Same here. Hey, is everyone here?” “We are now!” “Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s go and give her a taste of our Rainbow Blast!” Rainbow Dash said as she stepped forward. “Wait! According to what Princess Twilight told me, she’s crazy powerful now. We can’t just stand in front of her. She also suggested that we do it without using magic. But we better think of something fast since I don’t think Flaming Star can bu-“ “WAIT!” Steely Armor interrupted me and it was then that I saw him! “Flame is out there? OK, I don’t know what you want to do but I’m going to help him!” “And how exactly do you plan to do that, darling?” Rarity asked. “Get to my locker, take my gadgets, save my friend.” Author's Note Make sure to check out other chapters too. You just want to stick your nose in those, too!” That was actually really hard to take. But then Twilight stepped forward. “Look, I know what we did was wrong, but if we want to save Flaming Star and the whole school from Trixie, we need to work together.” That made him calm down a little but I felt I needed to let him know I wasn’t going to argue with him. “We also need a plan. You’re the one who knows how your creation works, so tell us what you have in mind.” That calmed him down. He sighed, walked over to a canvas on an easel. “So first, what kind of information did princess Twilight provided you with?” he asked me. “That the amulet will drain her from kindness and fill it with evil darkness, and she also said that the Trixie of that world also got the hold of it and they managed to trick her by showing something more powerful but in fact they were just bluffing.” He thought for a few seconds and then he picked up a brush and started to draw and explain simultaneously. “OK, so first we need to distract her and take students out of the school. Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie!” he drew a square as the school and a three dots, a red one that indicated Trixie and a two green that indicated Rainbow Dash and Pinkie. “You two must buy as much as time possible, understood?” “You got it!” “Will do!” “Twilight, Sunset, Applejack! You three will evacuate the students.” Then he drew three blue dots to indicate us. “We got this!” I said to assure him. “Then, we need to find a way to take the artefact from her. Rarity, you come with me and after I get my stuff we’ll help Rainbow Dash and Pinkie pie with the distraction. Fluttershy, while we have her attention, you bring some animals that can steal the artefact from her.” I have to say that sounded like a great plan. We Suited up and got ready to execute the plan. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie went off and went into action; when we all heard by the sounds, we knew it was safe to go out. We found the students as fast as we could, but while we were herding them from the building I noticed Flaming Star lying on the floor. Applejack picked him up and took him outside. He seemed really beaten up. After we finished clearing out the school we decided to join the rest and help them. But when we reached Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie, we realized that Steely Armor and Rarity were nowhere to be found. Things were out of control.
