With a world superpower on the brink of collapse as two enemies close in, Equis is about to fall into its first world war. Tensions rise amongst the other nations as The Ruby Changeling Hive and Griffins, in an alliance against Equestria, slowly take the land of one of the world's leading contributors for global relief. The princesses grow nervous, the ponies fear imminent slaughter, and soldiers lose all hope.

As a last resort, they open a portal to a world where war isn't foreign. They weren't the first as their enemies opened many around the world, threatening the lives of billions from there own anger, but not everyone coward when it happened. The Griffins learn quickly that humans are not easy to intimidate, especially if they know where you're from.
