Dragon on the Moon
Dinner With the Family
Previous ChapterNext ChapterSpike waited until he was sure that Twilight and his older brother were in the apartment before walking out of Pinkie's, so it wouldn't be suspicious, and once the coast was clear, Spike walked to his home and opened the door. "Hey Twi, I'm back from Aunt Chrissy's shop." Said Spike as he walked into the apartment.
Twilight smiled as she looked at Spike. "Spike, guess what?"
Spike hummed, he knew what was going on, but he needed to play dumb, but he still wanted some fun. "You actually got a boyfriend?" Spike shook his head. "No, not in a million years. Did you discover the cure for Twilightitis? No that can never be cured. Did you finally cook a can of soup without it turning into poison?"
Twilight sighed as she really hated when Spike was a smart ass. "No smart ass, we're going out to dinner tonight with Shining."
Spike smiled, but on the inside, he cursed the heavens. "Really, that's great, but you do know they're up north right?"
A tall man with two shades of blue hair walked into the living room and smiled at his little brother and sister. "Well, I wouldn't say that, Spike." Said Shining.
Spike smiled at his older brother. "So, you're finally here for those comics I stole from you when I was 7, well too bad, they're still at moms, and I'll never tell you where I hid them."
Shining laughed. "Oh, whoa is me, I'll just have to check that hiding space in the back of your bed that you kept your porn mags in."
Spike's eyes went wide as Twilight was glaring at him. "Spike, what is he talking about?"
Spike gulped as he was pretty sure that Twilight was thinking of killing him. "Um... Shining gave them to me when I turned 14, kill him first."
Twilight groaned. "Ok." Said Twilight as she turned to her older brother. "Ok, why did you give Spike a porn mag when he was 14?"
Shining gulped, when it came to unbridled rage, Twilight was second only to Velvet. "Um... I was his brother and I had to pay him off for not telling mom that I was having sex with Cadance, back when we were dating, don't kill me." Coward Shining.
Twilight rubbed her head. "I swear, you are a complete moron."
Shining sighed. "Yes, but you love me."
Twilight smiled. "Yeah, I do BBBFF." Said Twilight as she hugged Shining.
Spike sighed as he walked to the couch. "Well, with Twilight's rage gone, I have some news myself." This surprised Twilight and Shining, who took a seat as well to hear what Spike was going to tell them. "Well, I'm going to the convention for Dream Realm this weekend, and I'm finally going to meet Lunar." Said Spike.
Shining laughed. "So, my little baby bro is finally going to meet his sexy witch, a little advice Spike, if she wants to play with your wand, don't let her." Said Shining. 'A little late for that.' Thought Spike. "Second, if she turns out to be a guy, run for your life." 'Pretty sure she isn't.' "And Lastly, if she has some sexy witch friends, make me proud." 'I'm pretty sure I already am.'
Spike laughed. "Dude come on, I'm not going to do that, I haven't even met her yet." Said Spike lying through his teeth. "But I haven't heard your better half yet, is Candy not here?" Asked Spike.
Shining shrugged. "Nope, she wanted to go see her aunts while in town, Discord isn't coming to dinner, work and all, but she wanted to invite them so the family could finally meet each other."
Spike nodded. "Cool, I can’t wait to see Candy again, it's been way too long since you guys moved to the mountains."
Shining sighed and nodded. "I know, and she can't handle the cold worth a damn."
Spike laughed, but he needed to get cleaned up for dinner. "Hey, quick question, how fancy are we talking for dinner?"
Shining hummed. "Slacks, long sleeve dress shirt, a tie, but at least you only have to have one shoe on. Oh, and I think you're going to be surprised." Said Shining, Spike looked at Shining, and he could tell that there was something he wasn't telling him.
Spike hummed as he walked to his room to get dressed for dinner. Shining looked at Twilight and bopped her on the nose. "You too, Twi, nerdy college girl is not appropriate for the restaurant." Said Shining.
Twilight nodded as she walked to her room to change. Shining looked around at the place, it was clean, well maintained, and fully Spike approved. Shining sighed. "Spike, I'm sorry you have to live with her."
"Meh, don't be, I have a good thing going on here, my own place, near a great coffee shop, close to my school, plus the rest of the girls are on the floor, so I'm never really lonely, sure the Twilight messes are bad, but I've trained her to keep most of them to her room." Said Spike as he walked out of his room mostly dressed, he was in a purple dress shirt, slacks and a single shoe, but his tie wasn’t on. "Hey, can you help me with this Shining?"
Shining chuckled as he got up from the couch and helped Spike with his tie. "So, how's school going?"
Spike shrugged. "Pretty good, but I'm not 3rd anymore, I'm number one of all the guys."
Shining smiled. "Well, you are my little brother, hey is Ms. Sexwhinny still number 6?"
Spike shivered. "No, she is 15, she has developed a resting bitch face, that's a real drawback."
Shining sighed. "Well she is in her late 40's so it's understandable, you got your eyes on a girl yet Spike?"
Spike shrugged. "Kinda, but nothing official yet."
Shining smirked. "Oh, is she in the top 10 girls?"
Spike smirked. "Kinda, but look at you, you're literally getting married to the number one girl for 4 years when she was in high school."
Shining laughed. "Yeah, but I wasn't number one, you are, I bet all the girls are just throwing themselves at you." 'Oh, you have no idea, Luna, Rarity, Pinkie, AJ, they all came onto me.' Thought Spike.
Twilight walked out of her room, she was dressed in a simple little dress, with her hair done up into a bun with a six pointed star hair clip holding it back. "Can we stop talking about Spike's ability to get girls, he's only 18 and should be focusing on school."
Shining smiled. "You look good Twi, but this is an important guy talk, shared between brothers."
Twilight rolled her eyes. "Sure, because if I remember correctly, you were ranked in the bottom half, until you joined the baseball team, Cadance couldn't even help you get higher and you were dating since sophomore year."
Shining blushed. "Hey, that just goes to show you how much she loves me, I was a dork."
Spike and Twilight started laughing. "Was, you still are one." Said the 2.
Shining sighed. "Really, ganging up on your older brother, where's the love?" Asked Shining.
Spike stopped laughing. "It's still here, but I think you should go get dressed as well, or mom will have your head."
Shining looked down at what he was wearing, it was a pair of jeans and a comfy turtle neck, it looked fine for a casual night out, but with his mother there, it was suicide. "Right, give me a moment." Said Shining as he ran out of the apartment, down to his car, got his nice clothes out of his suitcase, and ran back to the apartment in less than 2 minutes. "Spike, I'm using your room." Said Shining.
Spike sighed as he and Twilight took a seat on the couch. "You do look good Twi."
Twilight smiled. "Thanks, and you cleaned up well, but let me fix your hair." Said Twilight as she tried to brush Spike's hair to make it look more refined and less teenager.
Spike sighed as he just let her do it, because Velvet would have done it in public, and that was not going to end well. "So, any clue on why Shining and Candy decided to just up and come down to town, with no notice or call?"
Twilight hummed. "No, but we can always ask during dinner, besides, you don't have to cook, I thought you wouldn't care?"
Spike shrugged. "Well, I like the idea of free food, but it's Shining and Candy, they don't do, out of the blue on anything, this has to be really big for them to call the whole family in."
Twilight nodded. "Yeah, but surely it isn't that big, they are engaged, they haven't picked a date for the wedding, but still they should be getting there soon."
"Well, I'm sure all those questions will be answered tonight at dinner." Said Shining as he walked out of Spike's room, he was dressed in a pair of slacks, a blue shirt, a solid blue tie, and a blazer. "Let’s head down to my car and we'll meet everyone there." Said Shining. Spike and Twilight nodded as the family walked out of the apartment.
Across town in the Solaris household, Luna, Celestia, and a tall 25 year old woman were getting on nice dresses for their dinner tonight. "Man, I wish Dad would have made it tonight." Said Cadance as she was putting on a bit of makeup, she was dressed in a lavender evening dress with her hair rolled into curls at the tips.
Luna walked over to Cadance. "Oh, don't worry Sweetie, I'm sure he'll be kicking himself for missing it, don't make it worse by getting upset."
Cadance smiled. "Thanks Aunt Lulu."
Celestia smiled. "Now, can you explain why you have never told me or Luna about your fiancé, and why you decided to invite us to dinner last minute?"
Cadance giggled. "I'll tell you guys at dinner, and Really Aunt Celestia, are you a grandma now, change into something a little more eye catching."
Celestia huffed, she was in a nice white and pink dress with her hair straightened. "No, I'm still a figure in the community, if people saw me in something less appropriate, it would not go well, I'm surprised that Luna is even willing to dress like that?" Celestia pointed to Luna, she was dressed in a tight fitting evening dress that had a whole over her chest, and her hair was parted to one side and covering her left eye.
Luna shrugged. "I don't care, I already got a guy, but on that note, I'm meeting Dracon at the Dream Realm Convention this weekend, so I'm going to be leaving Friday and coming back Sunday night."
Cadance giggled. "Wow, I'm so happy for you Lulu, but you need to be careful, some guys are a lot different from what they seem like online." 'He's not, in fact he's oh so much better.' Thought Luna.
Celestia sighed. "Fine, but just make sure to tell him I want in, even though I'm an old hag." Said Celestia a little sad.
Luna smiled. "Sister, you're a young woman, and I'm sure that Dracon would love to meet you, he's a great guy."
Celestia smiled. "Yeah, just make sure he's cute." Said Celestia.
Cadance smiled. "Well, I'm done, and thanks for letting me and Shining stay here while we're in town."
Luna smiled. "Don't mention it Cadance, now let’s get a move on, fashionably late and really late are only a minute apart." Said Luna as she grabbed her evening purse, Cadance did the same, and Celestia grabbed a clutch.
At the meeting point, Shining pulled up to the restaurant, and smiled at the place. "We're here." Said Shining.
Spike looked at the place and sighed. "Dude, give me a second." Said Spike as he just walked into the establishment, confusing Shining.
Shining looked at Twilight. "Twilight, what's this all about?" Asked Shining.
Twilight rubbed her head. "Well, Spike's not going to be joining us for dinner, you just had to choose this place."
Inside the restaurant, Spike walked over to the hostess who was shocked to see Spike here. "Spike, why are you here?" Asked the fancily dressed woman.
Spike smiled. "Let me talk to Fancy, we need to have a quick talk." Said Spike. The hostess nodded and quickly escorted Spike to the owner’s office in the back.
"Mr. Fancy Pants, you have a guest." Said the hostess.
Fancy looked up from his work and smiled at the woman. "Let them in." Said a well-dressed man with dark blue hair and a well maintained mustache, he was sitting in a chair reading over some of his recent expenses.
Spike walked into the office and smiled at Fancy. "Good evening Fancy, how are you tonight?"
Fancy smiled at Spike. "Well, seeing you here old friend, certainly made it better already, now what can I do for you?"
Spike smiled. "My older brother is in town and his fiancé is bringing her family to dinner so everyone can meet each other. I've seen the prices you charge for dinner, and I know that you need to make a mark up to keep this place running, so for tonight, let me back into the kitchen and I'll work the dinner rush in exchange for them to eat free."
Fancy rubbed his head. "Spike, you were one of the best chefs I ever hired in that internship program, but that's over, and I can't let you just walk into my kitchen and work a single night."
Spike sighed. "I'll make my chocolate cake for everyone who wants dessert and you can call it a special one time event?"
Fancy smiled. "Welcome aboard, chef, just don't smack the others with the ladle."
Spike shrugged. "Fine, but I make no promises." Said Spike as he walked out of the office and into the kitchen. "Ok, tonight, this is not a kitchen, tonight this place is going to be heaven on earth or you're grave, do I make myself clear?" Yelled Spike as he walked into the room filled with slack jawed chefs. "I said, do I make myself clear?"
"Yes chef." Responded all the chefs, there would be time for greetings later, but for now, and for the next 4 hours, this room was going to be harder than military training.
Outside of the restaurant, Twilight just finished telling Shining why bringing Spike to this place wasn't a good idea. "So, Spike pretty much runs the kitchen with an iron fist, but he's still loved by the owner and chefs?" Asked Shining.
Twilight nodded. "Pretty much, I bet he's grabbed his ladle by now, and at least one chef has messed up." Twilight sighed. "But on the bright side, dinner is probably going to be free."
Shining sighed. "Well crap, I wanted to have dinner with the whole family, but now Spike's gone off and become Cook Commandant."
Twilight sighed. "Hey, look on the bright side, you're not out over 2000 dollars, Spike showed me the bill for a family of 5, they ate minimally and they spent 700 dollars on just food, and another 500 on wine and drinks."
Shining gulped. "Ok, feeling less bad. I was wondering why they didn't post the prices for the meals."
Soon Twilight and Shining saw their father’s car pull up to the restaurant. Nightlight was now dressed in a fancy suit, and Velvet was in a stunning cocktail dress with a fancy shawl around her neck, but the moment they saw the restaurant they sighed. "Well Spike's not coming to dinner." Said Velvet, she looked at Shining and smiled at her oldest son. "Hi, Shining, thank you for inviting us out for dinner."
Shining smiled. "No problem mom, I'm sorry I didn't know about Spike's connection to this place, if I did, I wouldn't have made reservations." Said Shining as he rubbed the back of his head.
Nightlight sighed as he pulled his son into a hug. "Hey, don't worry, Spike's food is great, so at least that's a thing."
Twilight and Velvet moaned at the thought of Spike's real cooking, his home cooking was great, but when he has access to great ingredients there's no comparison. "Oh, I can't wait." Said Twilight, but then she noticed another car pull up. "Wait, isn't that Luna's car?" Asked Twilight.
Shining smiled. "Oh, so it's about time I introduce you all to Cadance's family."
Cadance got out of the car and smiled at her fiancé, his parents, and the little girl she used to babysit. "Shining, Nightlight, Velvet, Twilly!" Smiled Cadance.
Twilight ran over to her old babysitter. "Cadance." Cheered the college girl as she gave the woman a big hug.
Cadance returned the hug. "Hello, my little bookworm princess." Cadance looked at Nightlight and Velvet. "Hi Mr. Light, Ms. Velvet." But then her face changed into confused. "Wait, I'm pretty sure I should be hugging my favorite little boy right now, where is he?" Asked Cadance.
Twilight, Velvet and Nightlight sighed. "Well, tonight he's going to be cooking for us." Said Shining.
Cadance looked at Shining. "How, this place is a 5 star restaurant and Spike is a high school student?"
"We'll explain inside, but why did you come in Ms. Solaris's car?" Asked Twilight.
Luna and Celestia got out of the car and looked at the Sparkle family. "Ok, something is really wrong here." Said Luna, they walked over to the family and looked at their niece. "Cadance, do you know the Sparkles?" Asked Celestia.
Cadance giggled. "Well, I hope I do, seeing as I'm marrying one." Said Cadance as she kissed Shining's cheek.
Luna looked to Velvet and Nightlight. "Um... Ok, this just got a lot weirder." Everyone nodded.
"Aunt Luna, why would you say that?" Asked Cadance.
Velvet growled, but Nightlight calmed her down. "Velvet, she's paid her dues, and we promised to forgive her."
Velvet took a deep breath. "Cadance, Spike was hurt really badly last week, and Ms. Solaris was the cause of it."
Luna sighed. "Please Velvet, I never intended to hurt Spike."
"I know, but he's my baby boy, and even if you didn't mean to hurt him, it still happened, I'm not going to bring it up again, because Spike's doctor said he's healing up fine, but until that boot comes off and he can walk on his own, I will be in Mama Lion mode."
Luna smiled at hearing that. "That is fair, I would do the same for my little Cadance, but speaking of Spike, where is he?" Asked Luna. "We were told that Shining's full family would be joining us."
Twilight sighed. "Remember that internship he got at a nice restaurant?"
Celestia hummed as she tried to remember the owner asking for Spike to stay employed after the internship was over. "Oh, so this was the place, but I heard it was outrageously expensive?"
Twilight nodded. "Yeah, Shining was going to need a loan to pay for dinner tonight, but since Spike is cooking, he's probably cooking to get our dinner on the house?"
Everyone sighed. "I swear that boy is too nice for his own good." Said Celestia.
Velvet nodded. "I know, but Spike has always been a sweet boy."
Shining nodded, he looked at his father. "Hey Dad, Spike told me he's the new number 1 at CHS."
Nightlight smiled proudly. "That's my boy." Velvet smacked her husband upside the head. "I mean, so what, what matters more are his studies." Velvet smiled.
Soon the hostess walked through the door. "Sparkle party of 8, your table is ready."
Suddenly another car quickly pulled up to the eatery, a tall man with a goatee, a brown neoprene suit, and a very weird bowler hat got out of the car and smiled at his little girl. "Sorry I'm late."
"Daddy?" Asked Cadance.
Discord smiled at his daughter. "Hey Sweetie. Sorry I lied, but I wanted to surprise you." Said Discord as he looked at his 2 sisters. "Tia, Lulu, where's the love for your older brother?" Asked Discord.
Celestia sighed. "Discord, why are you wearing that?" Asked Celestia, she then rubbed her head. “Actually, I don't want to know, it’ll save me the brain cells, but it's nice to see you bro."
Luna nodded. "Hello Dissy, and please don't explain where you even got that suit, I haven't had a drink yet, and my head already hurts."
Discord laughed. "Fine, but let’s go inside, and finish introductions there." Said Discord as he opened the door for his daughter, his sisters and his soon to be in laws.
Once everyone was inside, they were shown to the table, but not given menus, only a wine list. "Tonight we have a set menu, but I have been informed that for tonight, that this party will be served with the highest quality, and here is a bottle of the owners choice, but Ma'am I will need to see some ID." Said the hostess as she looked at Twilight.
Everyone else snickered as Twilight pulled out her driver’s license and handed it to the hostess, who looked at it and handed it back. "Thank you, please enjoy your dining experience." Said the hostess as she walked back to her station.
Discord looked at the group. "So, I'm missing something, aren't I?"
Everyone nodded. "I'M SORRY, CHEF, I'LL MAKE IT AGAIN!" Yelled a chef in the kitchen.
Twilight, Nightlight and Velvet sighed. "Wow, that sounded like he was facing a king in there, I wonder who's the head chef?"
A group of waiters walked out of the kitchen with the first course of the full course meal that Spike had prepared in an instant. "Welcome, tonight we have a full 7 course meal brought to you by a master chef prodigy. He asked that everyone stays until he is finished for the night."
Discord was confused. "Ok, but how does he know us?"
Luna leaned over to her brother. "Dissy, it's a long story." Discord nodded.
Waiters placed the appetizer in front of everyone and they dropped their jaws at it. "Tonight, he has devised what he calls the 7 deadly sins full course meal. Please enjoy the starter: Vanity." Said the head waiter as he left the group alone to eat.
Everyone looked at the food in front of them. on their plates was a set of large grapes frosted in sugar, a few small cubes of high quality parmesan cheese, and a small metal bowl for 6 pecans covered in a shell. Discord shrugged. "Ok, well, this isn't going to be there in a few minutes so we should eat it." Said Discord. Everyone nodded and started eating.
Shining, Cadance, Luna, Celestia, and Discord were all shocked. "No, Spike is a great chef, but there is no way he made this." Said Shining.
Suddenly a waiter walked out of the kitchen. "Sir, the chef says, and I quote, fuck you Shining, I'm busy and don't have the time to come out and smack you with my ladle.' end quote." Said the waiter as he went back to the kitchen.
Shining looked at the food and decided not to make Spike mad.
Three hours have passed, and with each new course the more outrageous the food. After the wonderful starter, next came the real appetizer, Gluttony:crispy pork chicharrones with a balsamic fig reduction, made with pork belly of the highest quality. After that came Wrath: a seafood gumbo that looked to be filled with shrimp that were red instead of pink. Everyone's mouths were burning but they couldn't help but eat it all. Thankfully it was time for the palate cleanser, a lemon flavored Granita that cooled down the mouth, dubbed Redemption, and readied the tongue for Greed: A salad with mixed greens, gilded pears, toasted hazelnuts and gorgonzola coins. This was the first of the heavy courses, but it didn't stop the table from enjoying it. The entrée was pure Envy: a pistachio crusted stuffed chicken with grilled sweet potato and feta for the women, and for the men, they got a pepper crusted filet with wild mushroom ragout and lobster mash. This course was designed for the other to be envious of what they didn't have. But thankfully what came next was the heaviest thing planned, Sloth: A 5 cheese vegetable lasagna, with a basil cream sauce. At this point everyone was getting a little full and they weren't sure if they could eat another bite. But then the second cleanser came out. It was called Absolution: a tangerine with small specks of chocolate, who can say no to chocolate and oranges.
The table was about to burst, but then the mass of waiters walked out with one final dish, but unlike all the courses that came before, Spike exited the kitchen dressed in an apron and armed with a wooden ladle. The waiters placed the final dish out in front of everyone. "And to wrap up this fantastic meal, I present you all with Lust." Said Spike, the waiters removed the covers and sitting on the plats was a slice of deep chocolate cake with a cherry coulis. Spike smiled at his family. "Give me about 30 minutes to clean up and I'll join you guys." Said Spike as he retreated into the kitchen with the waiters.
Discord looked at where Spike had been, and he was confused. "How did, what did, why did?" Asked Discord.
Velvet smiled. "He's smart." Said Velvet proud of her little baby.
Discord looked at Cadance. "But you told me he was a pudgy kid that didn't look any older than 12."
Cadance shrugged. "What, I haven't seen him in over a year, I am just as surprised as you."
Luna smirked as she grabbed her fork and took a bite of the cake. "Holy crap, this is delicious." Said Luna.
Celestia looked at the cake, she was no stranger to the sweet temptress that was frosted cake, but something about this cake was like a lustful demon that wanted to take her. She grabbed the fork and took a bite of the cake and for a single moment, Celestia felt like she just got her first orgasm in the last 2 years.
30 minutes later Spike minus the apron and weaponized kitchen tool, walked out of the kitchen, his sleeves were rolled up and his tie was gone. "So, how was it?" Asked Spike as he took a seat at the table.
Velvet looked at Spike. "Well, it would have been better if you actually ate with us."
Spike sighed. "Trust me, this meal wasn't cheap, and unless Shining has a gold bar in his pants, this was a good deal. Besides, I got to see my crew again." Spike then looked at Discord. "Oh, sorry, my name is Spike, it's nice to meet you."
Discord nodded. "Discord Solaris, I'm Cadance's adoptive father. Spike, quick question, you're not related to Twilight and Shining, are you?"
Cadance glared at Discord. "Dad, don't be rude."
Spike chuckled. "It's fine Cadance. No, I'm adopted as well, from what my mom told me, they found me one night while taking Shining and Twi home after they went to the park after dinner. They found a note on me, with just my name, Spike, I decided to take the name Drake, because I love dragons, but My full name is Spike Sparkle Drake."
Discord hummed. "So, you don't know who your parents were?"
Spike shook his head. "Nope, no clue, and I really don't care, to me my parents are sitting right there." Said Spike as he pointed to Nightlight and Velvet."
Discord nodded. "Then that's all that matters." Said Discord smiling.
Spike smiled as he looked at Shining. "Ok, I cook a great meal for you guys, and I've been waiting to find out why I just saved you a preowned car."
Shining nodded. "Ok, me and Cadance are going to get married next weekend, and we've kinda been keeping it quiet."
Spike sighed as he got up, walked to the kitchen and grabbed his ladle. He walked back and swung it down on Shining's head. "WHAT THE FUCK?!" Yelled Spike. Everyone nodded as Shining rubbed his head.
Cadance sighed. "I'm 3 weeks pregnant, and we decided to go down to the courthouse and see a judge." Said Cadance. Everyone looked at the woman.
But Spike hit Shining again. "Hey, what was that for?"
Spike looked at Shining. "Not wearing a condom, and for the comment earlier." Said Spike as he took his seat again, but he was ready to hit Shining again if need be. "But congratulations Shining, don't screw this up, and now we can go into normal reactions from the family." Said Spike.
Luna, Celestia, Velvet, and Twilight crowded the woman to celebrate how happy they were for her. Nightlight and Discord congratulated Shining, and Spike, he decided to let the family have the moment, Discords comment kinda hit Spike hard. "Well, I need to go see Fancy, I'll be back in a moment." Said Spike, but before he left. "But just for good measure, new father gets a ladle to the head." Said Spike as he gave one last smack to Shining.
Luna noticed Spike's mood and elegantly detached herself from the family. "Um. Hey, that wine kinda went through me, I'll be right back." Said Luna.
Spike walked into the kitchen and washed the ladle before hanging it up. "Spike what's wrong?" Asked Luna as she snuck into the kitchen.
Spike smiled. "Nothing, what makes you think something is?"
Luna got closer to Spike. "Because, I know you, did Discord's comments do this?" Asked Luna.
Spike sighed as he shook his head. "Kinda, but it also made me realize some stuff."
Luna nodded as she pulled her lover into a hug. "Spike, please tell me, I'll do everything in my power to help you."
Spike smiled as he returned the hug. "I lied about not knowing my birth parents."
Luna looked at Spike in shock. "Really, who are they, have you talked to them?"
Spike nodded. "Yes, and I'm never going to do it again." Said Spike with pure anger in his voice.
Luna was surprised at Spike's tone. "Spike, please, if you talk about it, I'm sure you and them can find a middle ground."
Spike sighed. "Not really, my father is in jail for murdering a store clerk, and my mother died after overdosing in rehab 17 and a half years ago."
Luna looked at Spike shocked to find this out. "What, but..."
Spike sighed. "Twilight did a DNA test on me, so I could learn about my past, but when the results should have come, she told me that there was a mistake and it was inconclusive. So, I called the company and told them to send me a test so I can retake it, but instead they sent me a completed report. That's when I found out about them." Spike sat on a counter. "Turns out I have my mother’s eyes, and my father’s looks." Said Spike. "Not sure if that's a good thing or not."
Luna was holding back her tears for Spike. "Spike, it doesn't matter to me, I still love you for you and not for your parents."
Spike smiled. "I actually went to visit him you know. He was shocked to have a visitor, even more shocked to find out that she was pregnant, and when I told him she died, he didn't care. He told me that he was locked up long before I came around and asked why he should give a flying fuck about me now. So, I just got up and left without a word, my own father didn't care that he had a son, that the mother of that son died, and the fact that his son actually decided to come meet him." Said Spike as he started to cry.
Luna held him closer to her. "Spike, this seems like much more than just my brothers’ comment, is this about the dreams you had after you fell off the bed?" Spike remained silent. "It is, isn't it?" Spike nodded. "Are you worried that you'll be like him if you have a child?" Spike remained silent aside from his sobs. "Well, I'm not going to have that Spike, you are nothing like that man, you actually care about us, hell you called me just to get permission to fuck Pinkie, most men would have gone for the easy lay, and begged for forgiveness after. But not you, you help others, you care for others, you are so much to others. So much to me, your family, to the school, and mostly you are so much to yourself, you were always kind and caring, even before you found out about them, so what does it matter, they don't have any hold on who you were, who you became, and who you will be."
Spike smiled at Luna. "Yeah, you're right, and besides, I look better than he did anyways." Spike hugged Luna. "How did I get so lucky to get a girl like you Luna?"
Luna smiled. "You can press E faster than me." Said Luna.
Spike laughed, and then he kissed Luna. Luna kissed him back, completely unaware of the third person who was looking into the kitchen with a shocked face. 'Spike, Luna, why are they kissing...wait Spike said he likes dragons, I've seen Luna play with Dracon, and he looks like a dragon, plus the colors, purple and green. Green hair and mostly wears purple. Holy fuck Spike is Dracon.' Thought Celestia as she felt happy for her little sister. 'Wait, I asked to join...oh god.' Thought Celestia as she remembered asking to join Luna and Dracon.
Spike pulled back from the kiss and looked at Luna. "Luna, I love you."
Luna smiled. "I love you Spike, and just for reference you're cooking while we're gone."
Spike laughed. "Fine, I'll admit, I was a little rus..." Said Spike as he caught a glimpse of Celestia looking at them through the window. "Celestia."
Luna turned around and noticed Celestia staring at them, but she was unmoving. "Oh fuck." Said Luna as she ran to the door and pulled Celestia into the kitchen, while trying to think of an excuse that doesn't end with her losing her job. "Tia, it's not what it looks like."
Celestia blinked and looked at Spike and Luna. "Spike, you're Dracon, correct?"
Spike gulped; he didn't think he was going to get the first question. "Yes Ma'am."
Celestia looked to Luna. "Luna, what is the meaning of this?" asked Celestia, she wasn't yelling, but one wrong step would set her off.
Luna gulped as she looked at Celestia. "Tia, as you know, I have had a thing for Dracon for some time, and my feelings were not always wholesome." Celestia was aware. "So, when Spike was being treated for his injuries, he accidentally told me that he was Dracon. I was shocked at first, and I'll admit once I found out, I was really considering just calling the whole thing off. But then I thought about Spike and how much he has done for everyone at the school. I couldn't help but find that one thing that every other guy I've ever met was lacking, a true heart, and I made my plan."
Celestia turned to Spike. "Spike, did my sister come onto you?"
Spike nodded. "Yes, but then she regretted it moments later, but I stopped her from doing something rash."
Celestia nodded. "Have you had sex?"
Luna and Spike nodded. "Yes." Said both of them.
Celestia sighed. "I can't believe this Luna, why would you do this, he is a student, if the school board finds out about this, that's it, your career is over, there is nothing that can be done."
Luna nodded. "I know, and I don't care." This shocked Celestia and Spike. "I don't care, for the first time in my adult life, I have a man that actually cares about me, who wants to make me happy, and who is willing to just give me something I don't deserve just to see me smile. I don't care if the school board finds out, I don't care, all I care about is being with Spike."
Spike walked over to Luna. "Luna, please calm down, it's fine, we'll stop until I graduate, but I would rather you not lose your job for me."
Luna looked at Spike and slapped his cheek. "No, stop this Spike, stop worrying about me, what about you, think about you for once, what's going to happen if people find out?"
Spike shook his head. "No, I'll be fine."
Luna shook her head. "No, this could ruin your college career, and the odds of you finding a job, this will affect you far more than it will me."
Spike got right up to Luna. "I don't care." Said Spike as he grabbed Luna's hand. "Just as long as I have you, I'll be happy."
Luna started to cry. "But why me, you have Pinkie, AJ, and Rarity, but why risk it all for me?" Asked Luna.
Spike smiled as he wiped away her tears. "Because you are Luna." Said Spike.
Luna looked at Spike and saw only the truth. "I love you Spike." Said Luna as she pulled Spike into a kiss, this wasn't filled with lust, no this was filled with love.
Celestia watched as Spike and Luna argued, made up and saw that there was love in this relationship. "Ok." Said Celestia.
Spike and Luna looked at Celestia. "Ok, what?" Asked Luna.
"Ok, I'll keep your secret." Said Celestia.
Luna smiled. "Thank you, Tia, but about what we talked about, Spike is really nice, and there is plenty of room for you." Said Luna as she motioned for Celestia to join them.
Celestia gulped. "But he's yours, and there is no way he'd want someone as old as me?"
Luna sighed as she kissed Spike. Spike nodded and walked over to Celestia. "Celestia, first off, whoever called you old is a complete moron, second Luna has told me about your dry spell, and any man that can't see it in himself to see you smile, shouldn't be able to call himself a man. What Luna said is true, I would love for you to join us, but in your own time, and only when you feel like you are ready, if ever." Said Spike.
Celestia was surprised. "Spike, thank you, that means more to me than you realize." Said Celestia as she couldn't help but feel happy. She looked down at the boy, and Celestia saw him for who he really was, a kind, smart, caring, man that earned her sisters heart, and right now she was willing to give hers to him as well. She got closer to Spike and quickly gave Spike a kiss.
Luna smiled at seeing Celestia accept Spike. "So, Tia, you'll love his party piece." Said Luna.
Spike nodded as he opened his mouth to tap on Celestia's. She complied and found a great gift. 'Holy shit, no wonder he's a great cook.' Thought Celestia as she felt Spike's tongue invade her mouth. Celestia moaned at the fullness of her mouth and how far his tongue was going.
Spike pulled back and showed it off in the light. "Oh, that's not even the best one." Said Luna as she started rubbing Spike's bulge.
Spike stopped her. "Luna, I think that is enough for tonight, and besides this is a kitchen, not a bed room."
Luna huffed. "But Pinkie texted me about leaving you blue, then Rarity texted me telling me the same, then you cook a great meal for us, and you expect me to not help?" Asked Luna a little upset that Spike was ok with that.
Spike nodded. "Yep, because as much as I would love to make love to you right here, I have a feeling that our families are wondering where we are?"
Celestia nodded. "That's right." But then she smirked. "That's right. I told Cadance and Discord to head home, Velvet and Nightlight offered to take Twilight back, and I offered to take Spike home once he was done with his meeting, so we could in theory help you Spike." Said Celestia with a lustful smirk.
Spike looked at Celestia. "Whew, ok, but still not here, and definitely not in the back, you girls deserve better. We could head to a motel room, but then we wouldn't get back?" Said Spike.
Celestia smiled as she took Spike's hand. "Don't worry Spike, I know a great place." Said Celestia.
Spike nodded. "Ok Celestia, I trust you." Said Spike.
So, with that Spike thanked Fancy Pants, who in turn offered Spike a job once he graduated, and the three got into Luna's car headed for god knows where.
Author's Note
Yeah, Spike is getting girls left and right. Sorry about the long wait for this chapter, but I was trying to make it seem reasonable. On that note the menu is actually real. I have no idea from where, but this is the version I based it on.

Thanks for the support on the story, and next time Spike will get very lucky.
