As she looked up at the stars of her night sky, Luna desperately wished she had somepony who she could call a friend, somepony who she could talk to, anypony.

It has been said that wishing upon a star is good luck, that it may help your wish come true. The stars guide those who wish upon them subtly to answer their desires. Sometimes though, as with the case of a very famous puppet, the stars take a more direct approach, and Luna will get what she wished for in a way that no one could have seen coming.
