Good...grief...what has happened?
My eyelids part, allowing me to awaken from my previous slumber. As my eyes adjust to the world around me, I notice that the very colors that is, would be a mere green, black and brown.
It does indeed appear like my location would be in a forest of some sort. I can as of this moment feel it practically...'sparkling' with the magnificent absence of any major magic.
Then this cannot be the Forest of Magic...peculiar, considering the fact I never went to any other major forest, and I do always live near that forest.
Oh, I know. Stupid...
I sit up, suddenly noticing something is wonderfully amiss, and frustratingly enough unable to recognize exactly what. Standing up, the ground seem closer, as if my height had decreased by a major amount, hence the fact a nearby tree appeared to be ten, rather than six times taller than me, like it usually would.
My surroundings uncanny, I swiftly spot a pond in the vicinity.
"What...in Makai....?"
In the stead of my usual visage is a rather equine-looking one, something I only succeed in declaring thankfully for my somewhat double conscious.
Could it be...
Looking down on myself, my thoughts is very much confirmed as I do in fact have FUR.
"What...in the world?! Where in TENBATSU am I now?! You Gap Hag! Where ever have you decided to gap me NOW?"
Walking in circles, I do not fail in noticing my rant to be is causing me to walk like an animal.
"Noroi...."
Holding my hands, erm, hooves on my head, I begin attempting to find some peace in myself.
"Noroi,NOroi, NOROI! What in TENBATSU have you thought out THIS time, you accursed Gap Hag?"
...otherwise known as exclaiming in a high volume.
Circling around, I notice some small animals running in various ways to shelter. I find it suddenly clear that the Forest is very dark, and I can barely see the trees in the distance.
"My, am I observant...
It's not like I am very vulnerable...or am I?"
Swiftly, I notice I was still having my small bag where I contained money, various food, some memoirs, and of course, my Spell Cards. Not that I needed them available.
Looking inside, I find that everything is indeed fortunately still here.
"Excellent. Well, now I just need to figure out something. Noroi. Does she not realize that tampering with another world could be fatal? I already tampered with Gensokyo, so if you would send me somewhere, send me to the Outside World or something, it is a world I am familiar with! Gap Hag! Gap Hag! Gap Hag! Send me back this instant!"
Silence is the answer.
"Okay, I apologize, I was merely ranting. Could you ever be so kind as to return me to Gensokyo?
Utter silence once again.
"Noroi...she is either offended, or I might be terribly incorrect on my assumption for the one at fault...but does that mean..."
A roar erupts behind me, though I pay it no heed as a terrible thought comes to me.
"No...that cannot be...?"
Turning around, I am met by a big creature which I could easily identify as a Manticore.
"...an Incident?"
The Manticore roars at me, in such a way it by no doubt would have terrified normal huma- creatures.
However, I am not a normal creature.
Walking back a few steps, I jump up in the air, and remain.
"You would think you could feast on me, would you not?"
Producing some Danmaku, I throw some of them in the direction of its behind.
"Select something easier the next time."
The Manticore screams in agony, before running in the opposite direction as fast as its legs could take it.
Phew, it is truly reassuring that my magic is still present...
Shooting a glance toward the pond, I notice my bag nearby. Quickly treading it over my back, I find that it is not particularly harder to bear it than when I was a human.
Looking in the direction opposite of where the Manticore ran, I notice some light in the distance.
I should probably find some ci-"
My increased hearing allow me to notice walking in the distance.
By instinct, I release a cloud of Danmaku toward the intruder, which much to my chagrin causes a shrill scream of surprise, and finally in one of terror, one which gradually fades as the unfortuante soul flees.
...
...
...
"Noroi."
I did it again. I most likely hit a villager, most probably a child walking here. What a marvelous start! Noroi, I HAVE to find a way to lose that habit! This is not Gensokyo anymore.
Okay, so before I go, I need to search my mind for any valuable information I could perhaps have of this place. I have to remember I originally come from the Outside World. This means I could know something about this world.
...I do suppose living this way has made me almost forget my origins.
Well, let us see if I can recall something...
...
I fail to recall anything, much to my frustration.
Perhaps I should introduce myself, in case I have any Dimensional Audience, or if I happen to be at the brink of amnesia.
I am known as Risanderu no Tenko.
It is Japanese, and its meaning refers to Heaven. Translated, I would be Risanderu, "The Child of Heaven", Ten meaning Heaven, and Ko, meaning child. 'No' is a word that means either 'of' or 'the'
I was formerly known as an ordinary human child, from a world, much like ours- ahaha, I jest. It is ours.
I was not the average child. I was mature for my age, if not feminine. Whenever I would stroll or simply be present at school, those who did not know me might have attempted to ask me out on a date.
I held a fiery passion for the literary, consuming books at a rapid rate, something I inherited from Father...I miss him.
I was a passionate gamer as well, I loved video games to the point of simulation. Which brings me to when my life was shattered, for so to piece back together into a beautiful picture-excuse me, I tend to ramble.
While playing my favorite game, Touhou Kaeidzuka~ Phantasmagoria of Flower View, the final boss of the game suddenly acted strange. I found myself dodging thousands of ingame bullets, the cursed AI destroying my character.
As I cried out in rage, in the belief a wretched soul had hacked into my dearest computer simply to enjoy the vile pleasure of shattering the dreams of a frustrated gamer, I heard a voice. And then, I fell into darkness.
I awakened to find myself inside the word of my dreams: Gensokyo, where my favorite franchise, "Touhou Project" took place.
When my senses returned to me, I had apparently fought the Yama and the Hakurei Shrine Maiden while unconscious, a murderous Kirisame Marisa attempting to Master Spark me.
It did not take long until I realized I had suddenly developed the power of Danmaku, something I had dreamed of ever since my like towards the franchise became an unhealthy obsession.
It was then, between my adventures with Team Nine-ball, my caretaking in the Scarlet Devil Mansion, the befriending of several of the magnificent characters, and the beautiful Danmaku that I came to know a terrible secret that I had unfortunately been the victim of.
I had died. When I was summoned through to this land, SOMETHING hindered my safe journey, and as soon as I entered, I would embrace death.
However, an angel, a beautiful being known as Aria saved me in secret, granting me near omnipotent powers over light and darkness and desire, but also the responsibility over The Balance. Fun fact, I appear to be a child, but I have existed for over a century. Note how I stated that I had 'existed', rather than 'lived'? That is because I unconsciously rested in a dimensional waste bucket of some kind where time passed ridiculously swiftly. I look good for my years, do I not?
Jokes aside, I would then be a very important part of Gensokyo, guiding lost souls, or giving them a taste of the punishment they would receive in Hell, should they deserve it.
And...it was then I learned that my death had no impact on the Outside World. My existence was absent, and any memories of me was cleared from their minds.
It was then I realized that the dream I had, held a price, a price that I unintentionally had to pay.
I shake my head, the memories bringing me to pain.
"That would be enough for now."
Impatiently, I simply take flight towards the light in the distance.
Flying for a short while, I arrive outside the forest, near a cottage. Sneaking around it, I manage to not be spotted.
As I walk, I notice that, indeed, everything was very much taller.
"I do not really know whether it is because of my size or because I am currently walking on four legs like an animal."
Proceeding, I spot none in the vicinity.
In the distance, I see a large sign baring the letters: 'Ponyville'
Where have I-
"Hiiiiiiii!"
The town appears to be full of strange equine-like creatures, much similar to the body I am currently occupying. A phantasmagoria of colors and shapes, practically.
"I have never seen you before...um, hello?"
Is there someone talking to-
As my mind adjust from the town to my surroundings, I notice a pink visage in my own.
"Noroiiiiii!"
This...is she Rumia or what?
I-I could feel my legs taking to the air! Noroi, refrain from giving me a heart attack like that!!
My little 'curses' cause some of the creatures to look in my direction, however, as my breath still, for whatever reason they could have, they return to whatever they were doing instantaneously.
Breathing heavily, still on my back, I look toward whoever decided to simply pop up in such a fashion.
As my vision adjust, my mind at last is able to recall where I am.
...
I am in the land of Equestria.
...
...
...
TEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNBATSUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Anypony home? Little-filly-lilly-tilly? Awwie, you're such a cutie-wutie!
N-NANI KORE WAAAAA?? I cannot be in this world! I am not meant to b-be here! This is...so very accursed! I am dooming this world with my presence!
"Aw, you're blushing!"
The pink pony turns away suddenly, shaking with what I can only assume is excitement.
Quick! I do not think she is looking this way!
Using my magic, I swiftly cloak myself and vanish into the bushes.
Hiding, I hear only a very perplexed pony talking at speeds which renders me utterly unable to comprehend their words.
Nervously, I attempt to scan my former location. Fortunately, it seems like the pony has returned to whatever they were doing.
As I swiftly take flight in the direction of the forest, still cloaked, my mind is only able to process one thought to possibly describe how very accursed this is:
CUUUUUURSE THAT INTO ETERNITYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!
Having returned into the dark and vile forest, my frustration and confusion manifests itself as rage as I shoot at the nearby trees, causing them to be set ablaze.
This is hoorendous...so...very...ACCURSED! YOU ACCUSRED GAP HAG! This is...not meant to happen! Ever! I hope your boundaries receives this transmission, since I will BANISH YOU TO ACCURSEDNESS when I return! Interdimensional travel is fearsome. Very, very accursed.
Screaming in frustration, another tree loses its life as Mokou's phoenix fire feasts upon the organic matter.
And to be honest...I loathe traveling between worlds...I...I already parted with my own in the most painful way posssible...
This time, a tree remains spared as tears flood my young, but ancient eyes.
Time passes, and eventually I subside my emotions.
"Accursed..."
I notice the complete destruction in my wake.
I am still weak, but I believe I am still capable of this...
As I cast another spell, the former destruction return to its dark glory.
"I can still use Aria's magic, it does appear."
I sigh, followed by a grim chuckle.
"My, I am overdramatic." A simple statement that stings somewhat as it reminds me of the home I left behind those two years ago.
There is no need for me to overreact. First things first, I should most likely find a place to live.
I do still look like I am in need of a per-pony to take care of me, considering I most certainly will appear to be very young.
Now then, preperations...
Hmm, another piece of inner monologue might be fitting.
Why did I react so negatively to this arrival of mine?
I should repeat the fact that, indeed, I come from *your* realm.
But having another conscious forcibly implanted into your very soul tends to muddle up your memories, and thy very speech.
...you understand?
Regardless, as vague as my recognition of this realm may be, I d know this very accursed fact: It is of Harmony.
Gensokyo is a realm where every breath taken, every day, every night, all that is is brimming with Chaos.
I have been subjected to this Chaos for some time, and I fear I may spread it should I remain here.
In Gensokyo, you attack any person you see with this gift of Danmaku, and then invite them over to tea.
Not attacking is considered rude.
In this land, as far as I can recall, such a thing is preposterous, and utterly vile.
The Spell Card system...
The current shrine maiden of Hakurei once presented to the world a new set if rules six years ago.
"The one who can create the most beautiful patter of Danmaku may win."
Among those rules stood the guarantee that a Youkai may not kill a human, a human may solve incidents, and Youaki may cause them.
Incidents...
In Gensokyo, gods, Youkai and humans walk the same earth; something that may lead to someone not knowing their place.
And so, an Incident is born. Usually, it means more encounters...
I should pay attention to where I'm walking.
So, I appear to be...one of the...regular ponies...the name of the species is...is...
“Tenbatsu…”
I still fail to recall!
I recall the fact that my new species is normally incapable of the magic I use, much less Danmaku.
Hmmm…flight is also not a wise thing to demonstrate. In other words, no Danmaku, no telekinesis, and no flight…
Booooooooriiiinnng….
Ehhh?
That sound again…where does it come from?
Not at all relevant though…
...though, yes I have heard it before.
Let us not linger...
Sighing heavily, I walk towards the light a second time.
Smells of various pastry and food greets me as I once again enter the town, under my magic cloaking this time. I look around swiftly, and I repeat; that mere town is a phantasmagoria of colors.
“What’ll will do NAOW Scoots?”
I instinctively take flight as I narrowly miss something purple-and-orange and something red-and-yellow passing the point I was located a mere second ago.
The presumed ponies are not in this location fortunately…
My, that was very near.
Truly, curse this into eternity.
I sigh silently as I hover somewhat in the air.
It is now time to have a tour~!
Where shall be my first destination…oh! The Library most likely…I simply must to see my Patcho-I mean Twilight.
My Twilight?
Where from were that thought born?
Regardless, the task of locating the Voile should not be preposterously difficult.
Did I compare the two once more?
Fandom…
Curse my humanity into eternity.
Well, to Makai with resistance.
Ahem.
PATCHOURRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-SAAAAAAAAAAAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
Ahem, since that is out of my accursed system, I should at last depart for the Vo-Library. Noroi.
I hover toward a large tree in the distance, something that is quite obviously the Library and home of beansprout-I mean Pony-protegee Patchou-I mean Twilight Sparkle. Curse THAT.
I have lived with said character for a time, and I have yet not diminished a single spark of fandom?
Noroi…
Nevertheless, I should truly make some progress. This is truly the most irritating about my arrival. I cannot. Cease. With. Random. THOUGHTS.
Curse that into eternity.
Curse you mind! I said curse you!
Cease with your nonsense!
“Huh?!”
Gah!
I swiftly notice one of the ponies staring incrediously in my direction.
Oops, I must have dropped my cloak!
I swiftly reinforce the spell, and the visage of the unknown pony suddenly returns somewhat to an disinterested look, with a slight hint of the anxiousness.
…and this is why I resent my mind.
At last at the doors, or more accurately, OVER the doors of the Vo-Library. -THIS NOT VOILE LIBRARY-, I take in the fresh air.
Hovering just under a window in the second floor, I make an attempt to see exactly what is occurring at this present time.
Have I mentioned I appear to sound like a six year old person attempting to recite Romeo and Juliet? It is truly a most aggravating feature.
I spy upon this world’s resident bookworm through her window, and, as expected, she is not upon the comfortable-looking bed resting, but rather sitting on a chair-somehow- reading a thick book.
She is very purple, with the exception of her red stripe in her hair and tail, as well as a strange mark on her posterior. And now I feel as if I should be recalling something very important…
Suddenly, she spins around, taking me by surprise as she fires a beam that grazes my invisible head, but causes me to propel AGAINST AN ACCURSED TREE.
TEEEEEEEENBATSUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!
So, just to make it clear, nothing of this is a finished product. i need to rewrite it thoroughly, but for simplicity I post it here.
The occasional Japanese words are because of Risanderu's obsession over Japan, so much it has become incorrigible.
Tenbatsu: "Tarnation."
Noroi: "Curses."
Nani kore wa: "What the h*** is this?!"(i am a person that generally do not swear)
I WILL rewrite this once my stubborn and very messy mind is able to come up with something. Gah!
