Old Friend

It's been a long time Old Friend....

Demise's POV

I heard an explosion in the middle of Ponyville, everypony panicked and became a a running mess. These ponies may be sentient but they kept their instinct, how ironic.

"Well then, it seems like something interesting is happening here" I said with a satisfied look, I got smacked in the back of my head, two times, I looked behind and saw Celestia and Fluttershy with mad look.

"It's not the time to have fun 'Star Demise' " Fluttershy said with a bit of 'The Stare' in it.

"Yes, she is right 'Star Demise', these are my little ponies we are talking about" Celestia said trying to do 'The Stare', which failed miserably, so she looked like she have the hardest frown in the world.

"Ok ok, I am gonna see what's going on over there" I said while turning in my calamity form and went to the source of the explosion, I could hear somepony said "Wait for Us!" behind me, but I didn't care so I went without them.

When I was there, I saw fire and guards running, but it wasn't normal fire, it was black fire with... diamond rising with the black fire?

'Where have I seen Black Diamond rising from Black Fire before?' I tought while rememoring my past lives.

But I was cutted by a demonic laugh from the fire.

"Foolish ponies, to think they could stand against the Lord of Demons?!" It said in a demonic voice. I then saw a black form coming out of the fire while making it sound like metal's clashing.

"Well well well, another foolidh pony?" The form said, oh now I remember.

"Well well well, if it isn't my old friend Ghirahim" I said, silence fell on us, the cries of ponies were shutted down, the shriek of the fire muted, we only existed, then, Ghirahim bowed.

"Master, it has been a long time." He said, not an ounce of hesitation in his voice.

"Yes, It has been a long time, but, can you please make the fire go?" I said, while it may sound like a demand, I made it sound like an order in his ears.

"Of course master." He said then snapped his fingers, and all of the fire were gone, ponies were healed even if I didn't ask for it.

"Master, may I ask why you are in a pony form? If I may, It is disgusting." He said in a disgusted tone, it amused me, yes I was in a weak form of a pony that blinds the imposing power that I have, but I didn't care as I wanted to stay like this until Princess Celestia announce me publicaly in my Demise form.

"I am in this form as to not make the locale mortals panick, you should know why that is as our souls are connected." I said, he looked skeptical but when he searched trought my memories, his eyes widen.

"Master! Is it really your entire meaning of having the Triforce?" He exclaimed.

"Yes, as I was cursed by my own reason of being, I sought the Triforce to free me, that is why you are the first thing that I create, and that I am proud of" I said, making him bow lower.

"Please Master, I do not deserve such praise from you. Now that I know what was your plan and that it is accomplished, what do we do now?" He questionned while looking up from his bow.

"I do not know, but it seems like we are living with the mortals of this world now, so please, refrain from insulting them and respect the two Princesses of this world like you respect me, altought you may not bow to any of them, just respect them in a general matter, not in royal one." I said, when I said he should respect them like me he looked sad and disgusted, but when I said he did not have to bow to them and that he needed to respect them in a general matter he was at ease now.

"Star Demise! What happened?" Celestia said from afar running with Fluttershy and the others.

"Well, it seems like an old friend of mine has returned." I said to her when she was in front of me, she looked worried from this.

"And who is it?" Fluttershy said with a smile, she maybe is happy that I had friends.

"His name is Ghirahim, My Sword and the Demon Lord of my Ancient Army." I said, they looked shocked by this, their eyes widen when they saw Ghirahim step out from behind me.

"Hello little Ponies, I am Ghirahim, Master's Loyal Sword and shield and eternal Demon Lord of his majesty's Army." He said while making a little bow with his hand press against his chest in a noble fashion.

"D-d-demon Lord?" Fluttershy squeeked, I nodded and Ghirahim looked amused.

"What do you mean, 'Master's Loyal Sword'?" Celestia said in a cautious voice. I mentionned Ghirahim to show them his True Form.

He did so and turned into a sword, they looked shocked again and Twilight was desperatly trying to examinate him, but was stopped by Celestia, RD tried to jump on the sword to take it but was stopped by AJ, and Pinkie was trying to shoot a party at me but was blocked by Rarity's sofa, where she herself was fainting. He returned in his human form and went by my side, he looked neutral but I knew he was thinking about a million ways to torture each an everypony present.

"And that fire?" Celestia said while looking at the perfectly normal Ponyville.

"He was the cause, but quickly returned everything to normal when he saw me." I explained, she look at me then Ghirahim and sigh.

"I guess we need to introduce you two to the ponies, but, just don't say your demons allright? just say your beings from a far away land and that you were travelling." Celestia said sighting.

"Come to Canterlot, we need to prepare the introduction." She said in a serious tone now.

"Allright, Come old friend, I'm sure you would love to show them 'your fashion' " I said to Ghirahim, who had sparkles in his eyes and grinned maliciously.

Celestia then had a chariot to go to Canterlot, the two pegasus that were in charge of it looked shocked when seeing Ghirahim in his sword form, I made him like this so not to make a panick attack, they looked envious when looking at me, I guess I don't blame them, Celestia is a charming mare and I'm alreay being assumed to be her coltfriend, and I'm pretty sure I heard them say 'look at that sword, I bet I woud look cool with it.' 'Nevermind the sword, look at this dude, I don't even blame Princess Celestia falling for him.' How amusing

The ride was uneventful, I was looking at the night sky besides Celestia, who was staring at me from times to times, Ghirahim still was in his sword form, we were talking telepathicaly so not to disturb the ride.

'Master, I sensed a monstruous amount of power coming from the six ponies from before, the Princess was not better, I assumed that they are a match to the goddess Hylia's power, what do we do with them?' he said to me.

'Nothing, they use their power to the one they think as a threat, as I am relatively friendly to them, I do not think it is necessary to do anything, and besides, they can't do much to me, altought be careful with your actions, I am letting you do whatever you want but don't do things that could be seen as threats to them. We are curently consider as allies to them so don't mess this up.' I said with power and authority.

'Very well Master' He replied, admiring my train of thoughts.

"We are arriving Star." Celestia said while looking at me then at the palace.

It was, I must say, glorious, the gold and the quartz are going well together, even the parts where there was obsidian and saphire don't look odd. I guess the gold and quartz is Celestia's part and he oblisdian and saphire, Luna's.

"I must say, throught all the timeless lives I lived, ths one Castle is one of the best, even thought it doesn't stand as much as Hyrule's." I said admiring the palace.

"O-o-oh, it's not much." Celestia's said, blushing from the compliment, then she looked curious.

"But, what is this 'Hyrule' you speak of? Is it a kingdom?" She questionned.

"Yes, yes it is, it's a kingdom that lasted for many many millenia's, the castle's that were built in it could be seen from everywhere in the continent, it was ruled by one princess, Princess Zelda who is always the reincarnation of the goddess Hylia, the goddess that protected the artefacts." I said, she looked suprised and shocked, but then frowned a little at the mention of 'Princess Zelda'.

I think I heard her say something about not letting me in the hooves of another princess or something. Amusing, she is jealous of little Zelda? Truly amusing.

We entered the throne room and it was beautiful, it was on par with the one of Zelda from the time I met Xant.

Then I saw a stallion with a blonde mane and a white coat, I could sense cockyness from him, it was oozing, Ghirahim glowed and pulsed hatred towards this pony, who didn't even noticed it.

"Auntie! A commoner filly's dirtied my hooves with dirt! We need to punish her immediatly and throw her and her father in the dungeons!" He exclaimed and Celestia looked tired just by looking at him.

"No Blueblood, we aren't gonna punish them..." She said while sighting.

"But Auntie!" He pleaded, Celestia just shoved him away. Then he noticed me besides Celestia. He looked from my black mane, to my yellow eyes, to my scaled armored hoof.

"Who are you! And who do you think you are to be worthy of Aunti's hoof!" He exclaimed, this quickly got Celestia to blush, this made him more furious.

"This shall not happen! I will not let you take away my place! I challenge you to a duel!" He said while summoning a magical sword and planted it on the ground. This got my eyes glowing red and my mane fired, it was exciting but I couldn't let somepony get away when he proposed a duel.

"Just a question. Is it a duel until one of us forfeit... Or until one of us die" I said the last part with my echoing and booming voice. This got him to shake a little but he didn't fall in fear. How couragous.

"Until one of us die!" He exclaimed, I could sense hesitation in his voice, but he stayed determined.

"NO! You will not do this duel!" Celestia bursted.

"Sorry Celestia, but a duel is proposed to me, and I can't take down a duel when I already did so many of them without hesitation." I said to Celestia, who looked at me with a glint of fear in her eyes.

"Very well, but it is not until one of you dies, it will be until I decide to stop it, is it allright with you two." Celestia said, Blueblood nodded a bit relunctant about it but nodded anyway.

"Very well, I shall not kill him, but I know someone who will be sadden by this." I said while looking at Ghirahim's sword form, who oozed bloodlust.

"Very well, the duel will start tomorrow in the training grounds, it shall be public auntie so that everypony can see me humiliate this unworthy stallion." Blueblood said with cockiness and arrogance while dismissing the planted sword and going away.

"Oh dear, what did I agreed to." Celestia muttered and I just smiled.

'This will be interesting, let's see what this pony got in him' I tought, a thought that got to Ghirahim, who just laughted madly in his mind.

Also, Demise will fight in his pony form to let a little handicap to Blublood, and don't worry for those who already miss good old Demise's demon king form, it will happen... Next chapter...
