A rude awakening transpires when Celestia prepares to raise the sun as she has done for countless days, and as she does, it occurs to everypony in Equestria that the sun has grown larger than normal. The princess is afflicted with a debilitating, painful hunger that causes her to ravish any and all food she could get in the castle. Causing quite the comical, but concerning disturbance, at first.

Until it's repeated for weeks, she grows a foot taller, and devours a guard. Twilight Sparkle and Luna seek answers. They soon find out that Celestia must be fed until the hunger is sated, and her body has proportionately grown to fit the sun's growth cycle.

Celestia's new diet lasts for quite some time. Various misadventures and societal changes occurring as most ponies contribute to the solar diarch's growth to record breaking height, width, and weight. Some even using the situation as an excuse to fulfill depraved fantasies, while others are effected in stranger ways.
