Scootaloo's Saga 2

A year had passed since Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo reconciled as a biological mother and daughter. Now Scootaloo not only had a mother but now also had a father.

Rainbow Dash had married Soarin about two months ago. Scootaloo was very happy to finally have a real family after all the time she was an orphan.

Since Scootaloo's life was perfect she thought that nothing could get in the way of her new life.

But what she didn't know was that something shocking was about to happen ...

"Mommy! Daddy! I got home!" Scootaloo said as she walked into her house and greeted her parents.

"Hi Scootaloo, what did you do out there?" Rainbow Dash asked as she was sitting on the couch with her husband Soarin.

"Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom and I were helping some ponies with Cutie Marks issues" Scootaloo said

"It looks like you and your friends really enjoy doing this, aren't you small?" Soarin said and Scootaloo nodded.

Rainbow Dash then looked at Soarin and they both nodded in agreement about something.

"Scootaloo we would like to talk to you" Dash said

"About what?"

"Well would you like this family to be bigger?"

"Well, I think she's big enough right? We have you, Daddy, Grandpa Bow and Grandma Windy. I think that's great enough. But for that question" Scootaloo asked a little suspiciously.

"Well Scoots your mom and I actually have some news to tell you" Soarin said

"Really? What's new? Wait I'll guess, maybe it's a vacation to Manehattan or maybe the Crystal Impire? Or was Mom promoted as captain of the Wonderbolts?"

Rainbow Dash laughed

"It's not squirt, it's much better than a trip or a promotion"

"So I don't know. What is it?"

Rainbow Dash and Soarin then looked at each other with a smile on their face and then Rainbow Dash grabbed Scootaloo's hoof and put it on his stomach.

"About 11 months from now you will have a little brother or little sister to play with! Isn't that great?" She said

Scootaloo's face sank a little.

"You are pregnant?"

"Yeah, so what do you think about the news?"

"Well I ... I think it's cool ... I think ..." Scootaloo said in a kind of sad tone.

"What was Scoots? I thought you would be excited about the news of having a baby brother because you're so sad" Soarin said

"I'm happy but ... Now that you're going to have a baby, that means you're leaving me ..." Scootaloo said with tears forming in his eyes.

Rainbow Dash saw this and then she approached her daughter and caught her in her hooves.

"Shhh it's alright Squirt, this will never happen, you don't have to worry about it, your father and I love you so much and we'll never replace you" Dash said in a sweet candy

"Your mother is right Scootaloo, so think about how cool it will be to have a little brother, you can teach him what is right and what is wrong, you can play with him and many other things that can you imagine "Soarin said

Scootaloo smiled and hugged his parents.

"Maybe you're right ... Maybe it's nice for me to have a little brother or sister."

Scootaloo was at the Cutie Mark Crusaders club telling his friends the news.

"But this is awesome Scootaloo!" Said Sweetie Belle

"Yes, now you can have a brother or sister like Sweetie and me" Apple Bloom said

"Yeah maybe it's cool ..." Scootaloo said

"What was Scootaloo? You don't look happy" Sweetie Belle said

"No I'm happy but ... I'm just afraid"

"Fear of what?"

"That my parents forget about me ... They said it would never happen but ... I don't know"

Apple Bloom approached Scootaloo and put a hoof on his shoulder.

"And they are right, Scootaloo you can't think your parents will abandon you, because from what I know of them you know they would never do that."

"Do you guys think so anyway?"

Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom nodded.

"Ok, I think ..."
