A year had passed since Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo reconciled as a biological mother and daughter. Now Scootaloo not only had a mother but now also had a father. Rainbow Dash had married Soarin about two months ago. Scootaloo was very happy to finally have a real family after all the time she was an orphan. Since Scootaloo's life was perfect she thought that nothing could get in the way of her new life. But what she didn't know was that something shocking was about to happen ... "Mommy! Daddy! I got home!" Scootaloo said as she walked into her house and greeted her parents. "Hi Scootaloo, what did you do out there?" Rainbow Dash asked as she was sitting on the couch with her husband Soarin. "Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom and I were helping some ponies with Cutie Marks issues" Scootaloo said "It looks like you and your friends really enjoy doing this, aren't you small?" Soarin said and Scootaloo nodded. Rainbow Dash then looked at Soarin and they both nodded in agreement about something. "Scootaloo we would like to talk to you" Dash said "About what?" "Well would you like this family to be bigger?" "Well, I think she's big enough right? We have you, Daddy, Grandpa Bow and Grandma Windy. I think that's great enough. But for that question" Scootaloo asked a little suspiciously. "Well Scoots your mom and I actually have some news to tell you" Soarin said "Really? What's new? Wait I'll guess, maybe it's a vacation to Manehattan or maybe the Crystal Impire? Or was Mom promoted as captain of the Wonderbolts?" Rainbow Dash laughed "It's not squirt, it's much better than a trip or a promotion" "So I don't know. What is it?" Rainbow Dash and Soarin then looked at each other with a smile on their face and then Rainbow Dash grabbed Scootaloo's hoof and put it on his stomach. "About 11 months from now you will have a little brother or little sister to play with! Isn't that great?" She said Scootaloo's face sank a little. "You are pregnant?" "Yeah, so what do you think about the news?" "Well I ... I think it's cool ... I think ..." Scootaloo said in a kind of sad tone. "What was Scoots? I thought you would be excited about the news of having a baby brother because you're so sad" Soarin said "I'm happy but ... Now that you're going to have a baby, that means you're leaving me ..." Don't worry sweetie I'll take you to the hospital, Scootaloo go to Twilight castle and stay with her until your mother and I come back!" Soarin said and Scootaloo nodded. "The birth was a success, now you can enter!" She said "Would you like to go first Scootaloo?" Twilight asked and Scootaloo nodded. Then she entered the delivery room and saw her mother lying in bed next to her father holding a little foal in its hooves. When Rainbow Dash noticed Scootaloo she smiled. "Hey Scoots come here," she said, Scootaloo then went to the bed and saw the baby more closely. "It's beautiful, is it a filly or a foal?" Scootaloo asked "You now have a beautiful little sister to play Scoots" Soarin said Scootaloo was amazed at the sight of his new sister. The baby was cyan blue, her mane was navy blue with some green, red and purple streaks, so she opened her eyes revealing to be bright green. "She's really cute, how did you decide to call her?" She said "Well we haven't decided that yet, we wanted to decide it with you, do you have any suggestions?" Dash said as he held the baby. "Well I think she looks like ... Raindrop ... Soon after Raindrop started to crawl to the end of the bench and then she fell headfirst to the floor and started crying a lot. The three fillies heard the cry and then went to the baby lying on the floor. "Oh my god Raindrop!" Scootaloo said as he took Raindrop in her hooves and began to rock the filly, but it was not enough to calm her down. "What's going on here?" Rainbow Dash said as she flew to the foals along with Soarin "Scootaloo what happened? And why is Raindrop crying so hard?" Soarin said "Well I .... I went out to play with my friends and left her sitting on the bench, I didn't know she was going to crawl until she fell off the bench" Rainbow Dash then glared at her daughter. "Scootaloo, I clearly said you were supposed to be very careful with her! You're lucky nothing much happened to her, now let's go home!" Dash said and Scootaloo shook her head "I learned to love this cute thing, and yes I was wrong at first to be jealous of her..." Rainbow Dash then approached her two daughters and kissed both of them on the forehead. "We'll be back soon" she said as she walked through the door with Soarin. "So ready to have fun Raindrop?" Rainbow Dash and Soarin arrived home and began searching for the foals. They walked to Scootaloo's room and saw the cutest scene they could ever have seen. Scootaloo was in her bed sleeping cuddled with her sister, while the two had smiles on their faces as they slept. Rainbow and Soarin couldn't help but smile. "We have two perfect daughters Soar" "Yeah, I guess I couldn't need anything else in life but you and these two wonderful little fillies" Dash then leaned forward and put his head on Soarin's shoulder. "Come here, stay close to me" Scootaloo smiled and then climbed onto the couch and lay down next to his mother. "Are you excited?" "Yes, I think it will be nice to have a little brother or little sister" "Oh I'm so glad you think so Scoots" Rainbow Dash said before she started rubbing her stomach again, she then looked at Scootaloo. "Do you want to rub a little?" "I can?" Rainbow nodded, then Scootaloo began rubbing his mother's stomach softly, suddenly she felt a baby kick. "Did you feel that?" Rainbow nodded as Scootaloo continued to rub his stomach and felt the foal's feet tip over his stomach. When she was done she went looking for something to eat, she had found some berries in the forest, so she went back to her camp and started eating fruits. Rainbow Dash called her daughter in her room but saw no sign of her in the room. "Soarin? Did you see Scootaloo?" "No sweetie, isn't she in her room?" Dash shook his head "Oh Soarin, did she run away again?" "No I don't think so ... Let's keep looking for her I'm sure we'll find her" With that the two Pegasus began searching the entire house for the missing filly, but they had no sign of her. So they went looking for Ponyville but they didn't find it either. Dash was starting to get desperate and then she started to cry. "Soarin she's not anywhere! This is all my fault, I should have been a better mother to her and paid more attention to her!" Dash said while crying, Soarin then approached her and hugged her "Dash you're not a bad mother, quite the contrary you're an amazing mother to our daughters, don't worry we'll find Scootaloo" Then two fillies came running to them "Rainbow Dash! "Who's there?" She then took a few steps back and suddenly a Timberwolf appeared out of nowhere. Scootaloo was more scared now than ever. She then ran to try to outwit the wolf but failed, so she was trapped in a dead end and the wolf was almost approaching her. "I wish my mother were here!" She said Then suddenly Rainbow Dash appeared with Soarin and the two began facing Timberwolf. They hit him several times, until finally he gave up fighting and left. Rainbow Dash and Soarin approached their daughter and hugged her tightly. "From all the mess you get in! Your father and I were so worried about you!" Dash said as he hugged Scootaloo. "I'm sorry I won't do it again, now I just wanna go home" Scootaloo said With that the three ponies returned home. Rainbow Dash was in Scootaloo's room trying to figure out why she had run away. "Scootaloo this is the second time you run away, what was the reason this time?" "I didn't mean to scare you, but as I had let you and daddy down I thought you were too angry with me and you didn't want me anymore ... You guys have been avoiding me a lot lately so I thought I was getting in the way and I thought it best you are happier with Raindrop ... " Rainbow Dash was speechless, she didn't know what to say about that. So she took her daughter and hugged her tightly.
