Chapters Sewers of Manehatten city
September 30th, 13:45am, in the sewers of Manehatten City
Agent Thorax was climbing down the sewers of Manehatten City.
When he reached the end of the ladder he dropped to the ground.
Thorax couldn't see anything in front of him.
"It's pitch black here. It's a good thing I have a flashlight." Thorax thought to himself as he wore his gas mask and activated the flashlight in side.
Once the flashlight illuminated the sewers, he began observing his surroundings.
There were power cables and a stair which lead down.
Then Twilight jumped down near him. And then Thorax looked at her in her soft purple eyes. But when they looked down they saw that they were holding each other, which Twilight blush.
"I'm... sorry." Said Twilight, blushing in embarrassment.
"I-it's okay Twilight." Said Thorax.
After that, they looked in front of them and saw stairs which lead down deeper into the sewers.
"So. Do we go down there?" Twilight asked, looking at Thorax.
"Yes. Follow me." Said Thorax walking in front of Twilight, and Twilight followed him.
After they walked down stairs, there was a left turn so they made a left turn. But when they were walking they encountered 3 rats running past them which scared Twilight.
"Ahh!" Screamed Twilight hiding behind Thorax.
Then Thorax looked at her and said "What's wrong? Not a fan of sewers?" Thorax chuckled, his voice slightly muffled by his gas mask.
"What do you think?" Twilight mumbled.
"Alright. Let's keep going." Said Thorax walking with Twilight in the sewer.
Once they made another left turn, they saw an elevator.
"Okay. Let's take this elevator, it probably leads down further into the sewers." Said Thorax.
"Okay." Said Twilight as she and Thorax went into the elevator.
Then they pressed a button in the elevator and it went down.
Thorax and Twilight were standing next to each other in the elevator, none of them spoke a word.
But then Twilight broke the silence.
"What do you think we'll encounter here Thorax?"
"Maybe some more zombies or bioweapons, I don't know." He replied to her.
The elevator came to a stop with a ding.
Then the doors opened and the two of them stepped out of the elevator and observed their surroundings, and there was nothing, just a few tables.
"All clear." Said Twilight.
"Good. Now all we have to do is-" Thorax was cut off when a stallion zombie appeared out of nowhere and tried to grab his face.
When Thorax noticed the attack, he grabbed the zombie by it's chest and threw him on the ground, then he finished him by stomping on it's face, blood splattered on the floor.
"That was unexpected." Said Twilight startled by the zombies unexpected appearance.
"He must've thought that hiding in the corner would work. Stupid idea." Said Thorax.
Twilight nodded and looked at the door in front of them which read.
Staffs only
"Let's go through that door, get behind me." Said Thorax.
Twilight nodded and got behind Thorax.
Thorax extended his right gloved hoof and gripped on the doors metal handle and activated his horn. He pushed the door opened and saw two zombies in front of him, one was a stallion and the other was a mare. He shot the left mare zombie in the head, and it fell on the floor dead bleeding from it's head, the second zombie got attracted by the sound from the magic and stretched it's hooves and walked up to Thorax moaning hungrily. Thorax deactivated his horn and ran up to the zombie and front kicked him in the head and into the wall, the force of his kick was so hard that it died from the impact.
"All clear." Said Thorax.
Then Twilight came out from the door.
"Alright. Now where to?" Twilight asked.
Thorax looked at his left and saw a path which leads down stair and at his right, there was a ladder which leads up to a ventilation walkway.
"Let's go up the ladder." Thorax told her "It's much more quicker."
Twilight looked up at the ventilation walkway and asked "But... how do we get past the giant fan?"
Thorax looked up at the fan and activated his horn and fired out a powerful blast at the rotating fan. And it exploded into pieces, then there was a path.
"Now we can go in." Said Thorax climbing up the ladder.
"Okay." Said Twilight "Why didn't I thought about that earlier?" Twilight said to herself quietly as she gripped onto the ladder and climbed up.
Once they climbed up, Thorax walked into the tunnel with Twilight behind him. The tunnel wasn't that dark so Thorax turned off the flashlight on his mask and walked through the tunnel with Twilight.
But once they reached to the end, there was another giant rotating fan blocking their way.
"Get behind me." Said Thorax.
Twilight nodded and got behind Thorax. Thorax activated his horn and it glowed to a green colour, and he fired his magic at the fan and it exploded into bits, sparks fell everywhere.
"Alright now we can go." Said Thorax as he began climbing down the ladder.
"Okay." Said Twilight walking to the ladder, but then four rats came down from one of the vents and climbed onto her.
"Ahh! Get off me!" Screamed Twilight trying to shake the rats off her body.
When Twilight was shaking her body, the rats got off Twilight and she fell down the ladder.
When Thorax looked up he saw Twilight falling towards him. He managed to catch her, but he lost his grip on the ladder and they fell on the ground roughly, and it also made his gas mask fall off.
When Thorax looked up, he saw Twilight on top of him. Twilight opened her eyes when she noticed that she landed on something soft and a bit bumpy. But when she looked down, she saw that she was lying on top of Thorax.
A heavy blush came over the two of then and Twilight got off Thorax.
"Ahh! I'm so sorry Thorax! I just got spooked by some rats!" She said quickly, and blushing furiously.
Thorax blushed as well, but he immediately snapped out of it.
"I-it's okay." Said Thorax.
"What in Equestria is wrong with me?!" Twilight yelled to herself in her mind.
"Get a grip Thorax! You're not in love with her!" Thorax yelled to himself in his mind.
Thorax shook his head quickly and said "Let's just forget about this and move on." As he got up and put his gas mask back on.
"Okay." Said Twilight.
But then they heard some noises behind them.
"What was that?" Twilight asked.
"Another bioweapon?" Thorax suggested.
When the noise got closer they saw 5 lurkers running towards them.

"Lurkers! Be careful!" Said Thorax warning Twilight.
One of the lurkers attempted to pounce on Twilight, but before it did Twilight shot it with her magic making it fall on the floor dead, the second lurker tried to use it's tongue to grab Thorax, but Thorax grabbed the tongue and pulled it in and stabbed it with his knife killing it. The third lurker got shot in the head from behind by Thorax's magic. The fourth lurker tried to scratch Twilight, and she back stepped the attack and shot it with her magic, and it fell on the floor dead. The final lurker tried to pounce on Twilight again but unexpectedly, a giant dark gloved hoof, broke through the brick wall and grabbed the lurker. It then crushed it's head and pulled it towards whoever was behind the wall.
Twilight and Thorax were shocked from whatever grabbed the lurker.
"Whoa! What was that?!" Twilight exclaimed.
Then Thorax had another thought in his head.
"Was that the Mr X I got away from? I better bring Twilight away from it." Thorax thought.
"Alright Twilight. Let's put all of this behind us and proceed to the facility." Said Thorax.
"Yeah agreed. I don't even want to know what that was." Said Twilight as she got up, and they continued walking in the sewer.

Sewers of Manehatten city
In the sewers
Thorax and Twilight were walking in the sewers to get to the virus research facility.
While they were walking they encountered two zombies.
"Alright Twilight, can you fight?" Thorax asked.
"Yes." She said.
"Good." Said Thorax, then Thorax approached the zombie on the left, and Twilight approached the zombie on the right.
When Thorax got close to the zombie on the left, he grabbed it's head and snapped it cleanly. When Twilight approached the zombie on the right, she smashed it's head into the wall, blood poured on her face.
When Twilight saw blood on her face she tried her best not to scream, and then she took a deep breath and calmed down, and wiped the blood off her face.
"Not bad Twilight."
"Thanks."
Then they continued onwards. They made a right turn, and suddenly they felt the floor rumbling.
"What in Equestria was that!?" Twilight exclaimed.
"Stay sharp!" Said Thorax.
Then they continued on and reached a door.
"Okay Twilight, get behind me." Said Thorax.
Twilight nodded and got behind him.
Thorax slowly gripped onto the door's metal handle, and pushed it open fully. And the area was clear.
"Clear." Said Thorax.
"This is our lucky day Thorax." Twilight said with a smile.
"Maybe." Said Thorax with a shrug.
Then they entered another room and walked on the sewers walkway on top of sewer water.
Twilight covered her mouth and tried her best not to throw up when she smelled the sewer water.
"Ugh. Ew." Twilight said, complaining about the sewer water.
"Sewers are like this Twilight." Said Thorax as he continued walking.
Then he jumped down from the walkway and into the sewer water.
"Are you sure this is the right way?" Asked Twilight with a worried look "I don't want to smell once I get back to Equestria. I haven't taken a bath for 2 days." She said blushing.
Thorax looked up at her.
"Sorry, but this is the only way." Said Thorax his voice muffled by his gas mask, then he heard a growling sound behind him.
"Wait there." Said Thorax looking behind him, then an unexpected giant alligator came jumped out of the sewer water, and it looked at Thorax with an angry look.

"Roooaaarrrrrr!!!"
"Thorax! Get outta there!" Twilight yelled.
Then Thorax ran and the alligator chased him. The alligator tried to eat him from the right, when Thorax felt it coming up from his right he immediately turned to his left.
"Holy crap! This bioweapon is strong!"
Then it charged up at him from the left, and Thorax turned to the right. Then he slide down under a metal pipe, and the alligator chopped on it.
When Thorax turned around, he saw that the pipe read.
Flammable gas
"Perfect" Thorax smiled behind his mask.
Then he activated his horn and shot the flammable gas and it exploded. Blood and bits from the alligator splattered everywhere, which pushed Thorax back a little.
"Chew on that. You overgrown monster."
Then Twilight ran to Thorax's location while on the walkway.
"Thorax! Up here." Said Twilight as she pushed the ladder down.
When Thorax saw the ladder he grabbed onto it and climbed up.
Once Thorax reunited with Twilight, he walked in front of her and continued on.
"What was that?" Twilight asked.
"I'll tell you later. Let's just go."
Twilight shrugged and followed him.
When they walked they saw encountered split section. And on the split sections wall there was a map.
"Thorax look. There's a map."
Thorax looked at the map and it had levels of the sewers.
First floor: Cable car to research facility. Second floor: Control room Third floor: Sewer area
"So, we have to go to the third floor, let's go." Said Thorax.
Twilight nodded and followed him.
Then they turned left and saw an elevator. They got into the elevator and they noticed that the third floor button was gone.
"What the? Where's the button to the first floor?" Twilight asked raising an eyebrow.
"It must've been torn off by somepony." Thorax thought "Let's use the second floor to get to the first floor."
"That sound like a great idea." Said Twilight.
Thorax nodded and pressed the second floor button. The elevator door closed and it went down.
Twilight began asking about that alligator they encountered.
"Thorax. What was that thing we encountered."
Thorax took a deep breath.
"Are you sure you want to hear about this?" He asked her.
Twilight nodded at him.
"Okay. That was an alligator that my queen caught for us."
Twilight eyes widened.
"What? Really?"
"Yes. She wanted us to make it a bioweapon and the changeling scientist said yes and brought him to the laboratory. The scientists injected it with a virus and it grew really big and scary. I actually fell really sorry for it."
Twilight then had a sad face from hearing that.
She tried to reply but the elevator made a dinging noise, which said that it arrived at the second floor. The elevator doors opened and they walked out of it.
Then they reached another door.
"Alright get behind me." Said Thorax.
"Okay." Said Twilight as she got behind Thorax.
Thorax lifted his back hoof and kicked the door opened fully and stepped inside with an activated horn, there were no zombies, but when he looked down he saw the Goblin six female changeling dead on the ground.
Twilight took notice of the body and looked at Thorax.
"Thorax. Who is that?" She asked.
"That is Goblin six. She is a female changeling who was also sent here on this mission." Thorax told her.
"What happened to her?"
"We got separated after Dr Chaos attacked. I was the only one who escaped and she was left down here alone. She begged me to help her. But I left her." Thorax sighed.
Twilight gasped from hearing that.
"How could you leave her like that?!"
"I had to complete my mission." Thorax told him.
Twilight sighed and hugged Thorax, Thorax got caught off guard from the hug and blushed furiously behind his mask.
"Thorax. Sometimes there are things more important than your work. You have to think about your friends and your loved ones, they are more important in your life." Said Twilight in a soft and cute voice.
Thorax felt his heart rate accelerating and his body glowing a little.
"What's going on with me? Stop!" Thorax yelled in his mind, then the glowing in his body stopped.
Twilight released Thorax from the hug and smiled at him, and he smiled back at her behind his mask.
"Alright let's continue going to the first floor." Said Thorax.
"Okay."
Then they heard some loud hoof stomps behind them.
"What is that sound?" Twilight asked.
"Don't tell me what I think it is." Thorax thought to himself in his mind.
Then the door got punched opened, and Thorax pushed himself and Twilight on the ground to dodge the door.
Twilight blushed when she noticed Thorax on top of her.
Thorax looked at the door and saw a Mr X, and it had it's hooves clenched together.
"Is that a Mr X?" Twilight asked.
Then Thorax got off Twilight and pulled her up to him.
"Yes indeed. Let's get out of here." Said Thorax grabbing Twilight's hoof and ran away from the Mr X, and it followed them.

Running away from Mr x and G monsters
The Mr x was running towards the two survivors with an incredible speed and it made hoof stomps when it ran.
Thorax grabbed Twilight's hoof and ran and jumped into the sewer water. And the Mr X followed them.
"Whoa! That thing is fast!" Twilight exclaimed.
"Yeah. And it's also strong." Thorax told her as they ran on the sewer water.
Then Thorax turned him and pushed Twilight into the corner and into the wall which made her blush, then Thorax took off his gas mask so that the tyrant couldn't hear the breathing.
The hoof stomps in the water got louder and louder and Twilight could see the Mr X searching for them. Twilight nearly screamed but Thorax gently placed his hoof on her mouth. And gave her a 'shhh' expression.
Then after a few seconds, the tyrant walked away and Thorax sighed in relief.
He then placed his hoof away from Twilight's mouth and she sighed in relief as well. Then she slapped him.
"Ouch..." He said quietly placing his hoof on his bruising left cheek.
"That was for injuring my back when you pushed me to the corner." She grumbled.
Thorax shrugged "Yeah. I guess I deserve it." He chuckled embarrassingly with a small blush. Then he put on his gas mask again.
"But. Thank you for saving me again." She said with a smile.
Thorax nodded.
"No problem. Now come on let's continue to the first floor.
Twilight nodded and they continued walking.
They were walking on the sewer water and Twilight had to resist the smell.
"Ugh. So disgusting." Twilight complained.
Thorax rolled his eyes in annoyance from her complaining.
"We'll be out of the sewers soon Twilight. Stop complaining."
"Sorry." Said Twilight in embarrassment.
Then they saw some stairs in front of them which lead to the third floor.
"Hey there are some stairs." Said Twilight.
"They must lead to the second floor. Come on."
But before they got to the stairs, there was a stream in the sewers water.
When the two of them saw the stream, they began to take some steps back.
"Wha-what is that?" Twilight asked, a bit terrified.
"Uh oh, I know what that is."
Then the stream got closer to them and a huge red monster popped out of the water.

"A G adult monster!" Twilight exclaimed.
"Aim for the eye!" Said Thorax as his horn began glowing.
Then he and Twilight fired their magic at the eyeball on it's body once. It roared in pain and attempted to slash them. Thorax and Twilight dodged out of the attack and fired at it's eyeball once more. It screeched in pain and it splashed into the water dead.
Then Twilight sighed in relief and Thorax scoffed at it's weakness.
"That was easy." Said Twilight.
"Yeah."
But they spoke too soon, because there were water sounds right behind them. When they turned around they saw four more G adult monsters, and they were angry.
"Uh oh." Twilight said quietly and a bit scared.
"This must be a party invitation. But we don't have time for that, we need to run."
Then Thorax grabbed Twilight's hoof again and they ran down the stairs to the first floor with the G monster following them.
After 10 steps. They have reached the first floor and they saw the cable car right in front of them.
"The cable car to the research facility!" Twilight said happily.
"Let's go." Said Thorax. As he pulled Twilight to the cable car.
And the G monsters followed them.

Sewers of Manehatten city
The G monsters had made it down the stairs and they looked at the two survivors and roared angrily.
Thorax and Twilight looked at the cable car a few miles away from them.
"Let's get to the cable car before the G monsters get to us." Said Thorax.
Twilight nodded and they ran to the cable car.
The G monsters were chasing them while they ran to the cable car.
Two of the G monsters climbed up the ceiling and attempted to grab them from above.
Thorax turned around and fired his magic at them. One of them managed to dodge out of the way. But the other one got hit and fell on the floor, on top of another G monster and it struggled to get up but he couldn't.
Then they reached the cable car, but the door was locked.
"Crap!" Said Thorax. Then he noticed a panel next to it. He smashed the panel beoken and the door took a while to open.
"It's gonna take 15 seconds for the door to open. Try fighting them off!" Thorax told her and Twilight nodded.
Then a G monster closed in on Twilight and attempted to grab her.
Twilight noticing the bioweapon's attempt. She rolled forward away from the attempt and shot it with her magic, the G monster got sent flying to the wall and splashed into the sewer water and it sank.
Then the cable car door opened.
"The door's opened. Let's go in." Said Thorax as he stepped in the cable car.
Twilight nodded and followed him into the cable car. But before she could go in another G monster grabbed her from the roof.
"Ahh! Thorax help!" Twilight screamed.
Thorax stepped out of the elevator and tried to shoot it, but the bioweapon moved away from the attack.
Then it held Twilight in front of it's face. It opened it's mouth and poured a infectionous substance on her and Twilight yelled in pain.
Thorax managed to kill the G monster and it released Twilight and it fell into the sewer water.
Thorax had caught Twilight and he looked at her with a worried look behind his mask.
"Twilight are you okay?"
Twilight turned her head slowly and coughed.
"I...I... do-don't fe-fell so well..." She said in sickness.
Then Thorax looked at her face and saw some red marks on near her left eye.
Thorax gasped when he saw the red mark.
"Yo-your infected." Said Thorax in shock.
Then Twilight looked at him with wide eyes and she had a single drop of tear rolling down her left eye.
"What...wi-will...I...do?" She asked sobbing.
Then Thorax took off his gas mask and placed it on her and she began breathing for oxygen.
"Come on. Breath in slowly."
Twilight did what he said and breathed slowly.
Then Thorax lifted Twilight up and entered the cable car.
Once he got in there, the door closed behind him. He then placed Twilight on the seats and walked to the cable cars front.
"Alright. Just have to push the grip forward." Thorax said to himself as he pushed the cable cars grip forward. Then it began moving.
After that, Thorax removed his gloved hoof and walked to Twilight, and she was getting sicker. The gas mask had helped her a little.
Thorax walked up to her looked down at her.
"Don't worry Twilight. I won't let you die." He told her.
Twilight tried to respond but she was too sick. And she coughed again.
Then the cable cart reached the virus research facility.
"I hope there will be a cure for her here." Thorax said to himself.
