//-------------------------------------------------------// Rebuild -by Undead Equestrian Writer- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// August 23rd, 1056 //-------------------------------------------------------// August 23rd, 1056 Flow Chart tightened his tie, sighing as he stared at his light blue eyes, hearing his wife and daughter laughing in the kitchen below, he smiled and walked out, his light blue magical hue grabbing his briefcase and making his way downstairs, joining his wife and daughter in the kitchen. His daughter, Vivid Sky, had a small pink backpack, one of the backpacks that had an image of the Mane Six on it, as a brilliant marketing stunt. For what, Flow didn't know, but his daughter wanted it so he got it for her, for her first day of school. "Good morning, you too," Flow announced himself as he made a small breakfast, toast and orange juice. Vivid Sky hugged him, as his wife kissed him and gave him his lunch. He picked his daughter up and put her upon his back as the two of them left their house and made their way to the Canterlot elementary school. "So, are you ready for your first day of school, Sky?" "A little, but I'm kinda scared," Sky told her father, laying her head upon his. "What if the other kids don't like me?" "Oh, they'll like you, you have a very good personality, just like your mother, and everyone likes your mother," the two kept talking until they reached the elementary school, goodbyes, a very long hug, and promises were given as Flow left his daughter, smiling as he watched his daughter quickly get approached by two other fillies, and they all quickly began playing. After a bit, Flow started walking towards the inner city of Canterlot, towards one of the newer skyscrapers that he worked at. Delos Weaponry, a multimillion bit company that produced weapons for the Equestrian military. Anything from swords and shields to newer weaponry, mainly produced to be used by unicorns. Flow doesn't work in the production of these weapons, he works in the sales of these weapons, along with his many coworkers. Copper Chain sat at her house, her front legs burning in pain as she laid in pain, her mother smiling as she helped her drink soup. "Mom, I'm not fucking sick, what's with the soup? I broke my legs, not caught the flu," her mother chuckled and smiled, and went to put the soup away. "I-I didn't say I didn't want it, I just asked why soup?" "Because soup is always good, it just makes you smile," her mother smiled and return to helping her eat and drink the soup. The Earth pony was bedridden after she broke her front legs in a work accident when she got her front legs caught in between an automatic door, which had detected that power had fluctuated, forcing the doors closed. Copper didn't understand why the doors were made to do that, but she knows that they did, and now she was on paid leave and had her parents looking after her until her legs healed. She hated it. She hated having to have other ponies look after her, that she couldn't care for herself. "Hey, I know you're getting mad again, Copper, just be happy that your legs stopped the door from closing completely, be happy that you're still here." "Don't turn this into a lesson about how the great ones were looking out for me, I don't wanna hear it, mom," Copper's mother was one of the supporters of the new religion that had arisen recently, gaining popularity fast as it gave ponies something to look up to instead of Celestia or Luna. Celestia and Luna themselves said that it was amazing that ponies loved something besides the two rulers, giving them extra breathing space. Copper finished off her soup and was left to rest. Cold Stare had awoken in pain, his head ringing as he crawled around his parent's basement. He made his way to the basement bathroom as he vomited profusely into a toilet, before shakily looking into a mirror. His eyes were bloodshot, his nose was running, his mouth and throat dry, and he was sweating profusely. He began looking around his bathroom, finding the small baggie of the red dust, and quickly cutting out a thin line of it and snorting it, the thin red dust burning within his nostril as he groaned in pain, as he snorted a few times, the drug quickly reacting with his body and mind. When he opened he opened his eyes, his world slowed and melted around him, as his high came back, causing the pain to stop as he smiled returned to his room, seeing the cute mare laying in his bed, still asleep. "Wake up," he shook the mare until she awoke. She groaned, rubbing her head before she collected her stuff, and left, leaving Cold alone as he collapsed back in his bed, the memories of his night before flashing back. Getting high at home, leaving for a party, getting drunk, meeting a cute mare, taking her home, and getting laid. Cold chuckled to himself, as he thought back on how lucky he was, his view skewed in his high mentality. He curled back up in his bed, and fell asleep, attempting to sleep off his hangover. Bone Marrow sat still in his concrete cell, having been awake since four that morning. He heard a soft knocking outside his cell before the six-inch thick solid steel door swung open. "Face the wall!" A guard shouted at him, as several more followed him in. A leather gag was placed in his mouth, shackles around his wings, legs, neck. He was lead slowly out of his cell and down the hall, before being placed in a room with a glass wall in between him and the cute little therapist that he had been seeing recently, he was chained to the chair as the gag was removed from his mouth, his sharpened teeth spearing the gag. "Good morning, Bone," the therapist spoke, her tone soft and delicate. "Good morning, Miss Calm," Bone spoke, his tone as delicate as hers. "Bone, today we're going to delve into your motives, would you be willing to explain them?" "Of course, Miss Calm, I'd be more than happy to tell you," a sick smile spread across his maw. "Okay, let's start with... the colt, Solar Flare, why did you rape, kill, and partially devour him?" "Solar Flare, I chose him because he was an easy catch." "How about his mother, Hollow Field, and father, Catch Clip?" "It was a family gathering!" Bone breaks into sickening laughter before Calm ends the session, causing him to be sent back to his cell. "I don't think there is anything we can do to help him," Calm tells her supervisor. "You can send him to his death, there is no saving him." Bone sat in his cell, his personality of crazing cannibal falling away, as the voices in his head start screaming at him, sending him into an internal panic, as the faces of every one of his victims mocked him. As the needle entered his arm, the unicorn growled in pain, the heat radiating out. The virus he purposely engineered to be the end of the pony civilization. His hatred burning within him, as he removed the needle, his virus quickly multiplying in his blood, as he smiled, seeing the burning cities of Equestria soon. Author's Note Give me feedback, it took me a lot to sit down and write this story, please give me anything to help me write this story. //-------------------------------------------------------// August 25th, 1056 //-------------------------------------------------------// August 25th, 1056 Flow Chart sat his desk, watching the clock tick slowly to 3:20 PM, the time he was allowed to leave to go and pick his daughter up from school. He was brought out of his trance as his coworker tapped his shoulder. Turning around, Flow smiled as he saw who approached him. "Toaster, you're finally back, how's your wife?" Flow asked as he started packing up. Toaster sighed and chuckled. "She's fine, but I feel like a train wreck," Flow smiled and nodded, shuffling papers into a neat stack, and locking his briefcase as he turned around. "How's your daughter doing in school? Is she enjoying?" "Oh man, I was expecting her to be crying to me not wanting to go, but yesterday when I went to pick her up, she was crying cause she didn't want to leave, but I'll see you tomorrow, Toaster," the two friends hugged, and parted ways, as Flow walked down the concrete staircase, making his way down the 14 flights of stairs, passing by several ponies walking up, before walking out onto the polished marble flooring of the large lobby of the skyscraper. Several wet coughs filled the lobby, as Flow opened the outside door. Passing by a small newspaper stand, Flow paused to read the headline of one of the papers. 'Family attacked by deranged pony'. Flow exchanged the bits for the paper, and read the finer text of it. A family was attacked by what they claimed to be a deranged pony, the father, greatly esteemed Seargent Steel Boot, Seargent of the Canterlot police precinct, was bitten by what he claimed to be a drugged-out pony, he managed to keep his own family safe, but the deranged unicorn escaped the scene before he could be detained. Flow's attention was ripped from him, as a pony bumped into, sending the pegasus to the ground. "Hey, watch where you're fucking going, dick!" The pegasus through insults at the pegasus, before angrily continuing on his way. Flow stood still, extremely confused by the whole interaction, before continuing on his way to Canterlot Elementary School. He waited outside, as he heard the school bell ring, his daughter and one of her friends came running out. "Hey, darling, how was school today?" Flow asked his daughter as she hugged him. She pulled away and waved to her friend who ran to her parents. "My friend wasn't here today," she told Flow as the two started walking home. Flow didn't press the subject, afraid of making his daughter cry, but he knew her friend was the police Seargent's kid, after talking with him after school yesterday. "I'm sure she'll be there tomorrow, Sky," he told his daughter, watching the sky slowly get cloudly with overcast. "Do you have a favorite class yet, sweetie?" "I love art, my teacher says that I'm really good and that it might be my special talent!" she exclaimed happily, skipping from the overload of joy, before reaching around to her backpack. "I made a picture of you, daddy, would you like to see?" "I'd love to see, but maybe when we get home, it's starting to get windy and I don't want your picture to go flying away," Flow smiled, rubbing his daughter's mane. Sky smiled and kept talking about how she enjoyed her teacher, and her classmates, filling the walk home with ramblings about her day. Cold Stare growled softly as he walked down the street, making his way to another party. A few minutes ago some rude unicorn slammed into him, having torn his thoughts from him. He hopped up the front steps of the large apartment, already hearing the loud blaring music inside, he walked in through the front door. His sense where attacked with the smell of weed and beer, his eye burned from the smoke, his ears rang from the heavy metal music blaring from the large speakers in the apartment's living room. He quickly joined the party, finding a group of stallions snorting Aplaxio, and joined in, filling his nostril with the red dust. "Cold, you made it," Cold stood up, snorting a few times as he smiled at the melty image of his friend. Mango Breeze was one of Cold's old friends from when the went to school, the two of them only talking at parties or when Cold was buying more Aplaxio from him. "Was beginning to think you weren't gonna show!" "Y-Yeah, sorry, was at home reading about these crazy-ass attacks, but nothing's gonna keep me from a dope ass party," Cold joined his friend for a few beers, flirted with some decent looking mares, and partied like the animals they were. Copper groaned in pain as she squirmed in her bed, the pain in her legs more than her mind could handle. The pain was slow and monotonous, it was ever-present no matter how many painkillers she swallowed with a bottle of scotch. The upside of being a pegasus is that you have an extra set of hooves, and currently she was using them to read a book from one of her favorite authors. She flipped through the pages, as she heard her father cough, the sound filled with mucus and phlegm. Whatever her father caught had diverted her mother's attention to her father, although Copper wasn't mad, it means she could be in silence while she got better. "Copper, are you awake?" Her mother asked, knocking on her door. Without an answer, she walked in and approached Copper. "Copper, I'm taking your father to the hospital, he was attacked by one of those druggies and has a bite in his side, and I think it's infected so I'm going to be leaving you here alone, okay?" "Mom, I'm not 7, okay," Copper responded, not looking up from her book. "Wait, dad was bitten? What do you mean?" "He has a large bite wound in his side, I'm not sure how to make it any clearer," she kissed Copper's head, before leaving. Copper wanted to fall asleep, but now her mind was running faster than her thoughts could keep up. She returned to her book, in hopes it would calm her mind, but it didn't and as the sunset and rain started to pour, Copper's mind began playing tricks on her, a grim-looking pony staring in at her from her window, illuminated by the lightning strikes. She closed her eyes and shook her head, and when she opened them again, the pony was gone, and on the window, a single bloody smear streaked across it. "D-Damnit," Copper returned to her book, deadset on forgetting the hallucination that befell her mind. Bone Marrow was loaded into the solid steel, maximum security prisoner carriage, the last light of day illuminating the faces of the two guards that protected the two sisters as the closed the monster into his mobile cage. In two days he would be executed in Canterlot, for murder, rape, and cannibalism. Bone was excited, he would finally stop suffering, something he wanted since he started killing ponies. The carriage slowly started moving, and he was off, from the massive city of Manehattan to the capital of ponykind, Canterlot, where he would be hanged, beheaded and cremated for his crimes against ponykind. "Finally, you'll finally be free from our torture, Bone, doesn't it please you that you're going to die, and be free, in the endless darkness that is death?" the voice inside his head whispered. Bone wanted to scream, to cry, to beg for forgiveness and explain why, but he couldn't, for they would make him hurt whoever he told his story too, and that's even if they believed him. "Leave me alone, you've already done enough damage," Bone whispered back, his manifestation within his head approaching the dark figure that plagued his mind. He slammed his head against the side of the carriage, as the two figures in his head fought. After several hard slams against the wall, the carriage stopped, and the guards came around back. "The hell you doing!" One of the guards asked as he stared at the broken pony before him. Bone stared at the guard with an emotionless face, that hid sadness and pain, anger and regret. As the guards left him alone, Bone was alone with his demon, and the face of every victim he brutally killed. They mocked him, and laughed at him, while every single voice thought he wanted death, to be free from his punishment, they were wrong. He was scared, more scared than anything his voices could do to him, but his fate was sealed, he was going to die for the things he was held hostage to do. //-------------------------------------------------------// August 26th, 1056 //-------------------------------------------------------// August 26th, 1056 Flow awoke earlier in the morning to the sound of confusion coming from outside. He slept in his bed alone, sighing as he felt the empty space on the other side of his bed, his wife in the hospital after being attacked by one of the many drug-crazed ponies on her way home yesterday. He slowly climbed out of bed and walked to the large window, early morning light flowing in, painting the room in a light yellow glow. He opened the blinds and saw ponies standing outside their homes, some dressed for school or work. "Daddy, there's a fence in our backyard!" Sky rushed into her father's room, anxious, excited and confused about the sudden lawn decore. Flow turned around and walked out of his room, rushing downstairs and out into the backyard and seeing the 8-foot tall metal fence that separated him and the house behind him. The ponies behind Flow's house looking at the fence in similar intrigue and confusion. Flow walked around the side of his house and joined the confused ponies, dozens looking around for answers. Flow looked up and down the street, and about 3 houses up and down from his are within the fenced-in perimeter. "What the hell is going on, why are we inside a cage?" Flow asked his neighbor, who just shrugged and returned to looking about confused. Flow started walking down the street, looking for someone to talk to. After reaching the end of the street and the fence, he saw several unicorns, dressed in military outfits, with gas masks and semi-automatic and automatic rifles in there magical grasp. "Hey! Hey! Why the hell are we trapped in a cage?" "Sir, I need you to back away from the fence," a soldier approached him. Flow slowly backed away from the fence. "Thank you, now, please, remain calm, we're trying to figure everything out." "Is this to do with those crazy ponies on drugs?" A mare asks, approaching from behind Flow. "Look, all we know," the soldier gestures to the rest of the armed unicorns. "is that the Equestrian military was tasked with walling off certain areas of Canterlot, Ponyville, Manehattan, and other large cities. We will keep everyone informed, but for the time being please, just return to your homes, and take a day off." The soldier walked away from the slowly forming group of ponies, leaving them to disperse on their own. Cold awoke with a similar throb in his head, his nose bleeding and ears ringing, his eyes blurry as he shambles his way to the bathroom. He looks up into the mirror and stares at the face of the pony he doesn't want to be, looking around for Aplaxio in his drawers. Finding a small bag, he quickly empties it and fills his nose with the mind-altering chemical. A minute later, he looks into the mirror, smiling at the pony he is now. Returning to his room, my slowed and his body no longer sweating profusely, he shakes the two mares that he slept with the other night, kicking them out of his room. He tosses them their stuff and sends them out of his house. He lays on his bed, smiling as his mind spins in a broken view of his reality. He swims in his current world, that of drugs, popularity, and sex, but as he smiles at his current self, he swims back to his old self, shy, alone, and pathetic, but on the flip side, smart and nice. His mind tortures him more as it shows him scenes where his father beat him and hurt him, scenes of dropping out of college, but it rewarded him as it showed him scenes of drinking and not being as shy, trying Aplaxio and how it made him feel like what he wanted. "Cold, we can't leave," Cold looked up at the two mares, a mix of anger and boredom. "Get the fuck out, go home," he told them, rubbing his head. "We fucking can't, you piece of shit, there's a fence around the neighborhood," the mare exclaimed, getting angry. "What?" He asks, anger having left his voice and now filled with confusion and intrigue. "What do you mean a fence?" "A fucking metal fence," Cold got out of his bed, and pushed past the mares and rushing upstairs and outside. seeing other ponies outside and a large fence surrounding the whole street. "Okay, a giant fucking metal fence, go see if someone will let you out, you're not welcome here," Cold told the two mares, before entering into his house, closing the door and locking it. Copper heard the commotion outside, having watched the military assemble the fence through the early morning. She read and listened, barely able to think or pay attention. "Mom! Are you back yet?" Copper called out, sighing when silence met her in return. "Damn." She sighed, and pulled the blankets off of her, and sliding out of bed, placing her back legs on the ground, and using her wings, lowered herself onto her back legs and wings, as a replacement for her front legs. She groaned at the weight on her wings but slowly moved forward. She walked at a snail's pace as she made her way to the top of the stairwell of her house. Falling back on her haunches, letting her wings rest as her stomach growls softly. She soon crawls back onto her wings, and makes her way to her kitchen, grabbing some cereal. A short while into her breakfast, a knock at her door tears her from delicious food. She took a sip of the milk in her bowl before walking to the front door, wings burning from the exercise. Opening the door, she smiled as she saw her next-door neighbor. "Hi, ma'am, may I come into talk with Copper?" her neighbor asked, still looking about the confused neighborhood, before looking at Copper and her current walking predicament. "Oh sweet Celestia, Copper, what are you doing walking around!" "I was hungry, and you know that having some broken legs won't keep me from getting some food," Copper responded jokingly, before inviting Quartz into her house. "Please, come in, I was just getting breakfast." "Thanks," Quartz passes by her, walking into her kitchen, and sitting next to the seat with the bowl in front of it. "I presume the ever intelligent Copper Chain doesn't know why the military put up an 8-foot tall fence?" "I have a few theories, my biggest one being those drug-crazed ponies," Copper told Quartz as she sat next to him, eating her frosted wheat cereal. "Okay, you've been right before on basic presumptions, I'm all ears, why would the military be caging us in if it's just because of some drugged out lunatics?" "I don't think it's drugs," Copper spoke out with a mouth full of cereal. "Wait, so it's like a cult thing?" "No, I think it's some sort of disease," she put her spoon in her milk and stretched. "Think about it, it started with one, then a few more, it's spreading." "Okay, I guess it makes sense, but most disease's just fade out if somepony gets infected thanks to cures and antibiotics." "I know, that's why it's just a theory, it could just be drugs, yesterday it was my biggest theory, but this morning I believe it's a disease," Copper went to stand, but was stopped. "Here, I'll take that," Quartz took her bowl and went to wash it out. "Well, the military is saying they have no clue what's going on or why they have to put up the fence's." "They likely weren't told so ponies wouldn't panic, but don't go telling ponies I said it was a disease," Copper demanded. "Do you mind if I come and stay over until my parents get back, I could use someone to help me with stuff." "Of course, you're always welcome, Copper." Copper smiled, standing to walk before Quartz walked over and picked her up. "Let me just help you." "Thanks." Bone woke up with a jostle as the carriage he was in bumped over rocks and holes. He sighed, looking out the back window of the carriage, seeing the main road of Canterlot, empty and abandoned. Bone looked around for the ponies that constantly had the streets of Canterlot filled. Before long, a single pony walked out from an alleyway following the slow solid steel carriage, their mane, face, neck, and chest coated in red blood. Bone started slamming his head against the side of the carriage, making the guards stop and walk around to the back and opening the door, not paying attention to the pony following behind them. "What is your deal with banging your head back here?" a guard asked, Bone not paying attention to the guard, but the single pony following along behind. One of the guards walked to the side and grabbed a shock baton to antagonize Bone. As the pony got closer, Bone saw parts of their jaw missing, their neck ripped open, and an ear missing. Bone knew that a pony couldn't survive with wounds like the pony had, but yet still the pony walked towards the guards. "Hello, are you paying attention to us?" Bone shouted muffled things into his gag, trying to get the guards to notice the pony approaching the guards. One of the guards entered the back of the carriage and pulled the gag down from Bone's mouth, but it was too late. The pony grabbed the outside guard, digging its teeth into the neck of the guard, and tearing the guard's trachea and arteries out, the guard dead before he hit the ground. The other guard had already hopped out and was pushing the pony off the dead guard, shocking the pony with the shock baton, causing the pony to collapse as its muscles contract. "Stay on the ground, or I will kill you, do you understand me!" The pony on the ground growled in response, before grabbing the guard and bitting the guards hoof, shattering the hoof into pieces, causing the guard to scream in pain and collapse. The pony crawled on the guard and dug into the guard's chest and neck. Bone hooped out and searched the guard for keys to his shackles, finding the keyring and unlocking his shackles one by one, not paying attention to the pony, who grabs Bone who pushes back on the pony, keeping the ponies teeth out of his neck by a few inches. "Damnit, I'm not getting freedom then dying to a copycat!" Bone growled softly, his voice strained as he slammed the pony against the carriage, making the pony fall off. He backed away from the pony, grabbing the shock baton. The pony already back on its hooves, and approaching Bone, who drew back and slammed the shock baton through the ponies teeth into the back of its throat, the sharp electrical needles piercing the back of the ponies throat and into the upper spinal cord. Bone pressed the button to toggle the electrical current, the pony shaking hard as electricity coursed into the spinal cord and brain, the muscles contracting, making its mouth bite down hard, cracking the metal pole of the shock baton. Bone pushed harder growling softly as the ponies eyes smoked slightly, before violently popping. Bone finally released the button and backed away, the electrical spasms stopping as the body fell still. Bone quickly made his way to one of the guards, grabbing their minimalistic armor and stealing the now-dead guard's identity. "I'm sorry Silver Star, but I will continue your name well, I promise to not return to what they want, I will try and be a sense of good." Silver walked away from the carriage, making his way to a viewing platform that overlooked the lower neighborhoods of Canterlot, smiling and breathing in as he embraced his new personality, before looking back at the city. Several neighborhoods of about eight to ten houses were caged in, one nearby. He made his way to a set of stairs nearby leading down, a destination now set for him. He sprinted down the stairs and across streets, unsure if there were more of those ponies. Before long, he arrived at the cage, seeing several armed military unicorns. "Halt, turn around and return to where you came!" A unicorn trained their rifle on Silver, who stopped. "I'm here on the orders of Princess Celestia, I'm here to oversee the neighborhood, to make sure ponies don't go crazy!" Silver lied through his teeth. His charisma was a natural benefit to being a mentally troubled pony. "Let me check with my superior!" The unicorn ran off, before coming back a minute later with another armed unicorn. "I wasn't told that we'd be getting one of the Princess's guards here, why didn't we get told about this?" "It was so panic wouldn't set in and make everyone think the world was ending, which it isn't, but it's better to be safe than sorry." Silver smiled softly. "What's your name, sir?" "Silver Star, now, may I get back to my royal duties?" "Uh, um, yes, sorry, sir," the unicorn turned to some guards surrounding a small double door made of the same chicken wire as the rest of the fence. "Let him through!" Silver smiled, walking past the unicorns and into the large caged in community. "Sir, what are we lying to these ponies?" "Because, if we tell them a dangerous virus is spreading, they'll panic, but we're going onto our second task later tonight, we are going to go street by street, building by building and kill these monsters." "Aren't these 'monsters' citizens of Canterlot? We can't just go kill them!" "We have to if we don't this virus will kill everyone, meaning ponykind as a whole will be destroyed." "But... fine." "Now remember, you must destroy the brain, don't get bit, and these things aren't ponies anymore." "Wait, don't get bit, can't we just cast a shield spell on our body or using magic to vaporize these creatures?" "For using magic to vaporize or kill them, it doesn't work, the virus has a natural defense against magic, which is why our top scientists are saying this was a planned attack, that someone genetically modified a virus to make it impervious to magic, and the same reason for shield spells, these monsters can just bite right through the magic, having it get canceled out by the presumed virus' genetic makeup, now, no more questions, rest and get some food, because later we will not have the ability to stop until every single one of these monsters are dead." Author's Note This took me so long to write... but, that being said, I wrote it, and I'm kinda happy about it. I don't really know if anyone will answer this question, but who is your favorite character out of the four and who is your least favorite? My most favorite is either Copper or Bone/ Silver, and my least favorite is Cold.
