Nightmare Moon’s second return was unexpected. Luna had never shown any signs of ill towards her sister, or Equestria for that matter. But one day she went missing. Days turned to a week. Weeks turned to a month. Celestia then got a message stating a large group of armed ponies were heading towards Ponyville. She had to send an army, as strong as the elements were, she new Twilight and her friends couldn’t stop them. Even though she could defeat them, she had to stay behind to rule.

That leads us to the present where a yellow pegasus who joined the army back when he first got his cutie mark gets himself caught in the first instance of bloodshed in a thousand years. He is determined to fight for his princesses even if he is crawling on all fours bleeding out.
