In the past days, I’ve seen my friend being frozen, seen a maniac running around a school and tearing it down, and finally, we got a teacher who gives you full mark for disagreeing with him?!
Now I know it sounds SUPER MEGA STUPID, but it actually happened! Our new History teacher, named “Prof. Skull Mustache,” threw the textbook out the window, gave a written exam which I rather not take. And guess what happened next: he subtracted 10 marks from the ones who took the exam and gave me the full mark for the next session oral exam! And I was standing there like “what just happened?”. Also I gotta point out that it was our first session with him. And at the end of the day, we saw him riding away in his black Cadillac deVille. I just can’t describe how exited Steely was when he saw his car. At least I don’t have to tolerate Ms. Dusty Fossils’ exaggerations anymore.
Anyway, now I can chill and start reading my other subjects since the exams are right around the corner. And I will probably be crashing at Steely’s house for the weekend. Exactly the one thing that helps to make the exam season tolerable.
Thought the day couldn’t end without a practice session in the Cars’ Graveyard and we couldn’t get there without a Race! Steely lectured me again about how crazy I get when we are racing, but seriously, can you compare what happened in the past days with me jumping on top of cars and taking a short look at the house of someone while I was just cutting through there to get ahead of him? Of course not.
The result was clear; I won again and Steely sighed as always. Then Steely put on his fire-proof outfit and we started practice.
This time he wanted me to protect some dummies at any cost but he never actually said from what but I figured that out myself when he sat behind the baseball gun!
“Three dummies, that’s all you have to protect. From these.....BALLS!” he said as he turned on the gun.
“Is this some sort of revenge cuz’ I didn’t listen to you?” I was hoping it wasn’t but it was. The first ball got shot and it hit a dummy.
“One out!” he shouted. It was then that I understood. The game was on.
