Sunset Shimmer and the Yearbook Photo
Sunset Shimmer and the Yearbook Photo
Load Full StorySunset Shimmer was working on the yearbook, and everything was going perfectly, she edited the pictures and put the photos and memories of the school year where she thought was the best area to put them, she finished editing and looked through the yearbook,
"Okay, everything's looking good, photos are perfect, everything's in the right place, and ARGHH!!" Sunset Shimmer said as she looked through the yearbook, she stopped and saw a portrait of one of the students who was smiling for the picture, his face and smile looked very unnerving,
"Who smiles like this?!" Sunset Shimmer asked, she stood up and went to Principal Celestia's office.
Principal Celestia was typing on her computer,
"Principal Celestia." Sunset Shimmer said, Principal Celestia looked at her,
"Can we call in a student to have his yearbook photo retaken?" Sunset Shimmer asked,
"I'm sorry, Sunset, but yearbooks go out tomorrow, you're just going to have to edit the picture you're talking about." Principal Celestia replied,
"Please, Principal Celestia, just a simple picture of him with my phone." Sunset Shimmer said,
"*sigh* Alright, who is it?" Principal Celestia asked, Sunset Shimmer showed her the picture of the student,
"Oh, um, hold on." Principal Celestia said, and she checked her students and their attendance on her computer,
"He's absent today." Principal Celestia said,
"What? Why today, of all days?" Sunset Shimmer asked,
"You're just going to have to edit the picture and make his smile look as normally as possible, Sunset, because the people who take the yearbook photos are done working for this year." Principal Celestia said, Sunset Shimmer groaned a little and headed back to the editing room.
Sunset Shimmer got on the computer and looked at the picture, she sighed and tried to make changes to the picture, she made the student's smile narrower,
"Gah! That looks unnatural." Sunset Shimmer said, and she tried making his head smaller,
"Ugh! Looks deformed." Sunset Shimmer said, and she tried to make his head and smile in proportion to one another but more natural looking for a kid,
"Okay, that's probably the best I can get it." Sunset Shimmer said, and she looked at the picture,
"What the? Why are his eyes blacked out?" Sunset Shimmer asked, and she looked through the yearbook to find a picture of the student and see what color his eyes were,
"Where is he?" Sunset Shimmer grumbled to herself, she flipped through the pages to see if she could find a picture of the student, she could not, and growled as she flipped through the pages faster. Sunset Shimmer's face turned red as flipped through the yearbook before stopping a few seconds later,
"Oh, here it is." Sunset Shimmer said, and she saw the student,
"Okay, his eyes are green." Sunset Shimmer said, and she tried to edit his picture on the computer, she exclaimed when she tried to make his eyes white on the computer but ended up coloring his entire face white, she groaned and looked for the undo option,
"Where is it?" Sunset Shimmer grumbled, and soon found it, she changed the picture back and clicked on the white paint again and colored the student's eyes, she added his green eyes and black pupils afterwards, his eyes were a bit slanted and looked abnormal,
"There, now to make his eyes look normal." Sunset Shimmer said, and she made them a little narrower,
"There, better, now to focus on the face." Sunset Shimmer said, and she tried to make the student look more like his age than how he looked in the picture. Sunset Shimmer tried to edit out the lines in the student's face and colored in the black areas, she finished and then began editing to make his face look younger, she exclaimed when she edited his nose and made it look very long,
"Where is that undo button?" Sunset Shimmer asked, she found it and undid the effect. Sunset Shimmer worked and colored the student's neck next,
"What is with those lines on the sides of his neck there?" Sunset Shimmer asked as she got rid of the black spots, she worked and narrowed his neck a little bit to make him look according to how he appeared in other pictures, she exclaimed when she messed up again by making the student's face and neck merged together, Sunset Shimmer groaned and undid the effect, she worked a bit and finished filling in the black areas,
"There, it's finally done." Sunset Shimmer said, and she looked at the picture while leaning back in the chair. Sunset Shimmer rested her eyes a bit and looked back a few minutes later,
"Huh?!" Sunset Shimmer said as she looked at the picture, she saw the student's face and neck were out of proportion with his body, Sunset Shimmer growled and tried to edit the picture to make the student's head, neck, and shoulders in proportion to one another,
"Come on, this is ridiculous." Sunset Shimmer said as she tried to edit the picture and make it all look natural and proportional, Sunset Shimmer groaned as she tried to make the student look naturally proportional in the picture, she growled as she tried and could not get the student to look naturally proportionate. Sunset Shimmer worked and tried to make the student look just like how he did in other pictures, but she could not get him to look proportionate, his head was too big at times, his neck was too wide at other times, his shoulders were too small several times, Sunset Shimmer growled and her face turned red as she tried to edit the picture and make it look natural. Sunset Shimmer let out an angry grunt and tried to make the student look right,
"What does it take to make him look proportional?!" Sunset Shimmer grumbled to herself while raising her voice a little, she huffed and puffed as she worked and tried to get the picture as naturally proportionate as she could. Sunset Shimmer panted and looked at the final result, the student's head was a little big, his neck was about average size, and his shoulders were a little narrow, Sunset Shimmer groaned and put her head on the table since it was the best she could get it, she sat up and sighed,
"Well that's the best I can get it. Here goes." Sunset Shimmer said, and she put the newly edited picture in the yearbook.
The next day came and students got their yearbooks, they looked at the yearbooks in the cafeteria and saw the one Sunset Shimmer edited, the students laughed at how the picture looked, Sunset Shimmer groaned and put her head down on the table.
