When the mysteries of the known world are exhausted and dreams drive those willing to listen ever further, what's next? What lies beyond, in the footsteps of the heroes that walked this path before? And more than that, just what lies at the end of that road?

In an age where the adventures we've come to know and love are history for all but the oldest of ponies, these are things that have driven Crescent for much of her life. Only out there, in places long untouched, if ever, by ponykind, will she find the answers to her questions, on the road that a group of friends, on their final adventure, walked before her.
