My name is Adagio Dazzle. Me and my sisters are known as the band called The Dazzlings. But you already knew that, didn’t you?
So, let’s lay down the facts already. Me and my sisters are not human. Well, we’re not supposed to be at least. These… bodies are not our true forms; just a chrysalis to force us to adapt to this world. We are sirens. Sirens from a world where magic makes up every microbe of it. However, we were… purged from our home; banished to this stinking cesspool you humans call Earth.
Why did this happen? Well, that’s easy enough. We used our voices. We sowed the seeds of malice and discord into the minds of those below us. We fed on their hate. We made them adore us. We held their very fates I our hands... But someone didn’t like that and he sent us here. Eventually, we did it all again only for the same outcome… only worse.
It’s kinda funny. When we were first sent here, I thought that was the worst of it, but… even when we were banished, we still retained at least some of our magic. We could still use our voices like we’re meant to, but then… then they took that from us. She took that from us. And ever since then, we’ve been degraded into this. We had nothing. We were nothing. We had to work so damn hard just to get the little success we have. We’ve had to run and hide, taking whatever opportunity presented to us. It’s like a bad joke. Like a- Like a shark suddenly becoming a salmon. We-We are better than this! We are bigger than this!
It’s all their fault. Those stupid kids. They ruined everything. They humiliated us. Took everything from us. Striped us of what made us who we wer-... are. Who we are. We could’ve beaten them; we would’ve. We had it in the bag and there was nothing anyone could do to stop us. It was sheer dumb luck and-and that bacon-head broad stepping in. I remember it so vividly; how she stepped up and then… then the tides turned on us and… it’s a special kind of insulting. I knew who she was. Sunset Shimmer; a bully, a traitor, and a demon. Of all people, I would think she would get it. If you really think about it, she wasn’t so different from us… but then she was beaten and she just becomes one of them? Threw it all away to be one with her enemies? And then she takes it away from us as well? It… It enrages me. I want her to suffer. I want them all to suffer. And that’s exactly what I’m going to make happen.
I’m sorry, are you expecting some kind of understanding? That perhaps we would entertain the idea of change? Oh, maybe the power of friendship will get the better of us? Maybe they’ll help us out of a tough spot and we’ll be grateful? Maybe we’ll cave when another rainbow rains down on us? Is that how it’s pictured? ...Hehehehe… Let me make something very clear.
We are sirens. We were put on this world and the other to control, to destroy, and to hurt people.
Is that evil? Maybe to some people. Not to us; we enjoy it. It’s what we do; it’s what we’re here for. We do not feel bad for doing what we’ve done. Why would we? We go out there and sing our songs to feed on the emotions of others, not to feel them. That’s ridiculous. They are not my problem. If anything, they’re my solution. What do I think about all the people we’ve hurt? All the lives we’ve damaged, ruined, and taken? I don’t care one bit. Their misery, rage, despair… heh.. hehehehe- Oh, I love every minute of it.
We’re not some misunderstood sad sacks that need hugs. We are the apex predators that are finding our way back to the top of the food chain.
Those ridiculous rainbow girls can pretend otherwise. They can keep living in their fairytale where everything works out in the end and there will always be a happy ending. They can live in their fantasy for as long as want; as long as they can; but I am speaking facts. I know the truth that they’re too scared to face.
And here’s another fact. We are not done yet. We’re still living and breathing, and there is still magic in this world. Oh, yes, we’ve seen the magic that has leaked into this world. We’ve seen how it infects this world; changing it into something greater. And I guarantee you, we will get our hands on it. It’s only a small matter of time. We’ve gotten closer and closer. I can practically feel it already.
Oh, yes, we will get our magic back and when that happens, we are going to finish what we started. And of course, the first order of business is revenge. Seven targets who need no introduction. And if you think that The Dazzlings before were crazy bitches, just you wait because you haven’t seen anything yet. And I am going to handle Sunset Shimmer personally. I truly look forward to it.
I know it won’t be so easy this time. I know we no longer have the high ground, but it won’t matter in the end. Not with what we have in store. They can fight with all their might. They can fight or they can run. They can try to reason; try to beg. They can pray to their silent God that things will work out like they always do in their fantasy. But none of that will change a damn thing. They won’t save anyone and no one will save them.
See, what these people need to understand is this isn’t a fairytale. There isn’t gonna be a happy ending; no redemption, no heroes, no happy feel-good moment. These girls have been living in a fantasy, but like all dreams, you have to wake up and face reality; and the reality is this: we are going to rule this world, we are going to be adored, everything they knew and loved will be destroyed before their eyes, and I am going to. Screw. Up. Sunset Shimmer.
