Roll for Wisdom

Shining weighed his options as he literally sized up the massive princess. Simply attacking her was off the table. Mountains were not attacked—but scaled. They were to be conquered and this one, although alive, would be no different.

Laying on her side, Cadance consumed the horizon, tail far beyond sight. Her panties conformed to even her most subtle curves and stretched taut over her crotch and round cheeks. That was surely his best bet...

“What's the matter, hon? Having trouble taking aaalll of me in?” Cadance snickered from the sky with lidded eyes. “If you feel the need to start enjoying yourself over there, sweetie, that maybe I could—”

Shining waved a foreleg. “Easy, now! Just drumming a strategy.”

“And this strategy.” She played with her rump and thundered the board with dull *THUD*s. “Does it involve ogling my butt like a wonderful sunset?”

Shining rolled his eyes. “As if I’d share my plans with the enemy!”

“Cute.” Cadance yawned into a waiting hoof. “Boys are so cute when they lie.”

Maybe that could be her weakness? Her newfound size rendered her arrogant, thinking she’d already won! Let alone the hordes of skeletons in place around the curve of her rump, as if it were some kind of headquarters. She didn’t even notice that a few had been squashed under it as her casual massage continued.

Headquarters.

Hindquarters?

“Shiny? Can you be a dear and strategize quickly?” Mocking, lazy chuckles boomed from above. “I may crush your kingdom under my tush, rolling it all around, just to keep myself entertained!”

Shining's weakness came into play again. Cadance was a gorgeous mare inside and out—rump very much included. He adored the plush wagon she towed wherever she went. Now that she was gigantic? Her spectacular features were only enhanced. His eyes wandered about the tight, white panties cupping her backside. Snowy silk conformed to every inch of her fantastic skin and squashed it in all the right places.

Shining smiled after spotting a few key spots on her derriere. Defeating Cadance wouldn’t lead to victory. No! It was playing her games—playing with her—that would level the playing field.

Much like she’d just threatened to do with her perfect butt.

Shining turned about; the quartet snapped to attention “Paladins!” He smirked. Guards were to be stoic but these stallions were, quite literally, expressionless. “We face a grave threat today. One to our kingdom and our very way of life!” He marched down the line. “Our fair princess has succumbed to the forces of evil… but beneath that, she's still our princess!”

Shining stopped and brought a hoof to his helmet. “You must think me mad. ‘How could that terrible, crass monster on the horizon be the royal maiden?’ you would say.”

“Hey!” Her voice rumbled. “The 'Blushing- Beauty-Now-Turned-Dangerous-Damsel of the Frozen North' heard that! Better have been a compliment!”

Shining ignored her. “I assure you! She’s still chained away in there! Her perfect smile. Her glittering eyes! Her wonderful laughter—somewhere deep behind the wicked temptress you see before you!”

Cadance huffed and narrowed her eyes. “Watch it, Mare-Buster! Keep this up and you’ll be seeing that ‘wonderful laughter’ from the inside!”

“Behold! Just how far gone is our princess?” It was Shining’s turn to drape a foreleg over his face and lean away. “Once so kind and so beautiful! Her tender love overcome by a base, primeval lust!”

“Oh-ho! That’s how it is, little hero?” The board shifted beneath Shining. “I can find a big, thick coat to put on, if you really want!”

“The darkness has stolen her love for me and yet I fight for her!” Shining struck his hoof to the grass, turning back to Cadance. “If I am to perish under the might of her hindquarters then I meet this end with a glad smile!”

“See if you’re all smiles when it’s right on top of you!”

“Enough talk!” Without quite meaning to, Shining pointed his hoof right at her crotch and shivered. The silk gave way to cotton there that strained against the puffy mounds underneath. Shining shook his head and shouted. “Have at thee!”

“Minions!” Cadance cried out from the heavens. “Defend your mistress with your lives!” She scrunched her nose and scowled. “Your undead lives, I mean! P-Protect it with your deaths!” She bit her lip and sighed in exasperation. “Just go get them!”

Shining spun his spear about and began his gallop. “Charge!”

Princess Cadance craned her neck over her side to watch the cavalry—husband included—charge right next to the back of her leg like ants to a sugarcube. Her tail and legs together created a sort of valley for the combatants, ensuring her rump was always in their view. It was comical, to say the least, but her hips nonetheless twitched at the spectacle. As always, it was the little things that tickled her.

She secretly hoped a particular little thing would soon be tickling a certain little spot but she continued to play along. “I fail to see how this pathetic plan is going to succeed!” She smiled as the two opposing forces clashed next to her hock. “Perhaps this is a ploy? A suicide mission? If you wanted to be crushed under my butt all you had to do was ask!”

She watched Shining block a blow, step to the right and bring his weapon down to cleave a skeleton in two. He turned to answer her. “Such a fate I do not desire unless it is my true love behind said butt!”

“Mere semantics!” The cool gold of her shoe wormed its way beneath the pink curve of her topmost cheek and she gave a little pant upon heaving its weight.“Stand beneath my shadow and meet your squishy end! It'll be slow and wonderful!”

Shining brandished his weapon and struck a pose. “Your words shall not sway me! We will battle soon enough but do not think I'll throw myself to you in despair! My hope is steadfast!”

“What hope?”

“That my princess is still there! You share her body, but not her heart!” Shining dispatched another foe. “I will save her from your tower and carry her back to the castle if I have to!”

“You can’t even hold up a die.”

“Anything is possible with a NAT 20!” Shining sprinted into a forest, the might of his guard efficiently neutralizing her army. “I love you! See now how I run to your rescue! I said I’d do anything for you and I meant it!”

Cadance couldn't keep herself from breathing hard and cracking a smile. Watching her little hero take on an army while confessing his love for her — it was perfect! Even her teasing touched her in all the right places. Was it getting hot in here?

“Your wretched army is powerless against me!” Shining twirled his spear while six undead leapt at him, knocking off all their legs in one swipe. “You gave them life but you forgot one very important thing!”

“And what is that?!”

“You obviously failed to give your troops a glass of milk before they went out to war! Now they have brittle bones because of it!”

Cadance grinned, rolled her head all the way around and shouted in comical rage. “CUUURRRSES!”

Shining grinned and weaved in and out of the trees. His hooves pounded the grass. His coat glistened with sweat but he reveled in the combat, even if it was a little tough to move in his black briefs. His nethers ached but he pressed on. Visions of white and pink flashed in the canopy as he neared his beloved. As for Cadance herself, there was no rolling to win her back. Rather, he would attack her special spots. She wouldn’t stand a chance.

“I fight not for myself but for the love of my life!” He shouted at the treetops. “To bring back the mare that my heart yearns for!” More skeletons moved to block his path but they were quickly reduced to a dusty heap. “My existence means nothing without you by my side! My world would be dark even in the brilliant light of the sun!”

Cadance shuddered at that one. A hard rock of her hips and a solid *THUMP* were quick to follow. The fur on her neck stood on end. “S-surely you jest! No mare can match the splendor of the sun.”

“I would deny her, I swear it!” A vertical slash saw Shining cut through another foe without breaking his stride. “My devotion is to one and only one. Not even for the entirety of the sun would I forsake you!”

Cadance glared at the forest and cocked an eyebrow. In a hushed whisper she asked. “Is that your way of saying you like my butt over Celestia's?”

Shining grunted as he dispatched another enemy. “Would you believe a humble soldier if he said he was referring to your heart?”

“More like my thighs, right?”

“Argh—so much splendor about you! Why must you doubt my love for your heart or your wonderful thighs? You are Mi Amore, Cadenza!” Shining Armor dashed out of the forest into a clearing only inches from Cadance’s plot and dropped to his knees. “From heart to hooves to horn; to all this and more I declare my love now and forevermore!”

That was it. Cadance whinnied and from her chest erupted laughter so beautiful that Shining’s chest tightened when it rumbled throughout the board and his entire being. Another violent earthquake drove him to hug a tree as the giant shifted. He gasped at her marvelous wings unfurling. They were so vast that he couldn’t possibly see how far they stretched! He smiled as hard as he could at the love of his life utterly losing herself to his affection. That is, until a shadow swept over him.

Without meaning to or not, Cadance was rolling to her back and flattening entire forests, meadows and even her own army under her magnificent body.

“H-Her legs!” Shining yelled and leapt into action as they fell to the ground. The long arch of her thunderous thighs descended right on him. “To me, my paladins! We must escape between her legs lest we be crushed under them!”

The tiny squad rushed to her tail-dock but, while they narrowly escaped a pair of pink meteors, a sea of violet, blonde and magenta strands swallowed them up. Shining cried out and shut his eyes, resting for a moment as the shaking subsided and Cadance’s distant laughter gave way to slow exhales. He blinked his eyes open to find strange, candy-colored strands surrounding him. With a few swipes of his hooves he clawed his way up through her tail.

He and his paladins broke the surface and were immediately bathed in a humid, sweet-smelling fragrance that Shining was all too familiar with. They'd emerged in a valley created by pink, luscious thighs that stretched out to the distance. Shining found that he could stand on the plush tail if he was careful and made his way to his wife’s plump flesh to lean into the silk of her stockings. Upon turning around Shining’s jaw swung open.

Before him was the entirety of Cadance’s gigantic crotch, straining against a wall of cotton such that a pronounced divot ran straight up to the curve of her bulging vulva. It took all of his willpower to keep her overwhelming scent at bay and ripping his briefs off right then and there.

“Erm, i-it would appear as though we're safe for now.” Shining took a moment to rest his cheek against the stocking and let the heat of his wife caress him. “In her excitement she seems to have destroyed her own army.”

Shining let out a low sigh and ran his hoof over Cadance’s thigh. The silk was so wonderfully smooth beneath the sole of his hoof. His ears twitched at the sound of her breathing so far away. He peered up from the hefty thigh-canyon.

“This next battle will be against the temptress herself—a quest I will undertake alone.” Shining looked to his guard. “I made a promise long ago that only one could be with her. Even though none of you are real and my wife has gone crazy with sexy power... an oath is an oath!”

The guards, to Shining's surprise, nodded as if in understanding. They gathered close and a white light surrounded their bodies. The light intensified and each shape condensed into one. The glow faded and left a flag bearing Shining’s cutie mark planted in her tail.

Shining Armor chuckled and took the flagpole up in a foreleg. He looked straight up at a wall of thick cotton and fixed the flag next to his spear.

It was time for the ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny to begin…
