Today, we will be planting 20,000,000 trees!
Finally, Team Trees did it. 20 million trees have been planted, fulfilling Mr. Beast's 20 million subscriber present. The internet blew up as the last tree was planted, spreading awareness across the globe. Everyone and their mothers knew about it. And to top it all off, Mr. Beast had more followers than ever. But, that wasn't why he did it.
Jimmy Donaldson, or Mr. Beast, stood on a hill, overlooking the newly planted trees of his success. Breathing in the fresh air, he thinks about all the hard work the team put into the project. But, something felt off. He couldn't quite place it. Then, a tiny voice in his mind called out to him.
More trees...
His eyes widened, then hardened in determination. Mr. Beast knew what he had to do. He marched down the hill, making his way to the still celebrating Team Trees. They all looked at him as e came closer, until he grabbed one of them by the shirt. Bringing them closer, he whispered into their ear.
More trees...
They, too, knew that this was what they had to do. It was their destiny. Word quickly spread, the team gathering their supplies. They all marched, following Mr. Beast, to find more space to plant trees.
They marched for hours, looking for the perfect place to start, and then, they found it. An open field, devoid of one thing. Trees.
Mr. Beast smiled. "Ok! Lets start!" They all cheered, rushing to start planting. As soon as the first shovel it the dirt, though, a crack of energy struck. In the blink of an eye, the whole team was gone.
In that instant, the whole team, and Mr. Beast, saw the world around them change. Once again, they were in an open space, but now, a town could be seen in the distance. Everyone was terrified, unsure of what happened. Mr. Beast, however, stood up.
"Alright, everyone, get to planting trees. I'll check out the town and find out what happened. The team cheered, and went back to planting like nothing happened. Mr. Beast jogged over to the town to investigate. As he neared it, a group of six brightly colored creatures rushed to meet him. They looked like small horses. Both sides stopped as they confronted each other.
A bright blue one with rainbow hair flew forward, immediately in Mr. Beast's face. "Alright, what are you, and what are you doing here!" It said in a slightly scratchy feminine voice.
Mr. Beast simply smiled. "It is me and my team's mission to plant trees. Over 20 million to be precise. We got to 20 million, but right now, we don't know where we are."
Once he finished, the group was looking at him with surprise. The yellow creature horse spoke in a tiny voice, "20 m-million!", while an orange one with a hat whispered, "That's way more than in mah orchard..."
A purple one stepped forward. "Well, where are you from?" She barely finished her sentence before the blue one spoke again. "And you didn't answer my question! WHAT are you!"
Mr. Beast cleared his throat before speaking again. "Well, we are humans, and we are from Earth. I'm assuming this is a different planet, given what you creatures look like, correct?"
The purple one nodded. "Well, it does look that way." There was silence for a moment before Mr. Beast said something. "Well, I've got to go plant more trees." Before he could leave, however, the purple one grabbed his arm.
"Wait! Don't you want me to try and send you back?" Mr. Beast shook his head, still smiling. "No, I see why we're here, and what are mission truly is. It is to plant 20 million trees on this world too! Maybe even more!" Then he ran off back to the group.
Once back, he shared his discovery with the rest of Team Trees eagerly. They all nodded to each other, determined to fulfill this new goal. With another cheer, they got back to work.
20 minutes later, while deep in their work, they spotted something growing in the distance. As they squinted against the sun, they made out a grey horse creature with wings and blonde hair, haphazardly flying to them. With a bit of a rough landing, the horse got up, and asked, "What are you doing?" with a slightly tilted head.
Mr. Beast came forward through the crowd. "We're planting trees!" The horse looked at them, with her slightly lopsided eyes, before smiling. "Ok! Can I help?" Team Trees all looked at one another, before cheering. The horse was lead to an open spot, and she immediately started planting.
As the day passed, more and more ponies showed up, who all ended up helping the team of humans. Mr. Beast even noticed 2 big horse creatures working. As he stopped to watch, he could see the two different species, all working together as one. Putting his hat on, he smiled before getting back to it.
Hard work, combined with the weird magic of the horses, they were able to plant a total of 30 million trees, more than they even planned. Team Trees, and the newly named, Equestria "Branch", all celebrated, having a huge picnic, courtesy of the horses, or ponies, as they prefered. As Mr. Beast was sitting and relaxing, the purple one, who she said was called Twilight, came up to him.
"We actually did it! This was a great thing that you did. But, now that we're done, I think I have a way to get you back to normal. I remembered that I have met humans before, through a mirror portal. They weren't like you, so it isn't your world, but maybe they can help."
Mr. Beast stood up, looking at the sun. Then, he looked at the vast spread of newly planted trees. Another new world. He looked at Twilight, smiling once more. "Sure let's do it." He looked over to Team Trees, and yelled, "We have more trees to plant!"
Hundreds of cheers from humans and ponies alike erupted in a frenzy.
