" Blast" Thought Eggman " I didn't think he would make here this fast. I swear he gets faster every time." Eggman then doubled his pace to place the chaos emeralds and adjust the machine. "Finally Eggmanland will finally become a reality!" Eggman laughed "Not if I have anything to say about it." Said a voice from behind. "Well well well if it isn't my old pal Sonic." "Last i checked we weren't friends." "Well i guess i can be your friend as soon as your grave is finished. Perhaps i'll put something along the lines of ' Here lies Sonic who failed to save his friends'." "Hmph that'll never happen i beat you every time!" And with that Sonic proceeded to jump and do a Homing Shot on the machine "Hah you'll have to do better than that if you want to damage my machine. In the mean time why not play with some of my other toys." And with that Eggman pushed a button on the machine and two robots came out of the ground. "Even YOU can't dodge these Sonic their missiles can follow you forever." "Forever huh" Sonic chuckled "we'll just have to see about that." With that Sonic started to run around both robots. the first one fired three missiles while the other one fired two. "Prepare to meet your doom Sonic" Eggman laughed. As he said that Sonic did a Homing Shot on the machine. "I told you that wont wo-" Eggman started but was stopped by what happened next. Time seemed to slow down as Sonic broke out of his Homing Shot and ran up the side of the machine. "Oh sh-" was all Eggman could say before a portal opened where the rockets had been sucking everything within the room into the portal. Meanwhile in Ponyville Twilight was excited. Not only at being excited at being able to do such high level magic but that her friends didn't resent her for it and she was ready to show them what she could do. Twilight had asked her friends to meet them at her house. She was a tad nervous but quickly got over it by reassuring herself that she couldn't fail. "Keep it together you studied day and night for this spell you could do it in your sleep." She kept repeating over and over in her head. When she got to her house she had total confidence in herself. "Alright everyone thank you for waiting." Twilight said "I will now begin to show what my studying has proven." With that she started putting her full concentration on her magic. "Almost there" Twilight thought. She took a quick glance around the room. Rainbow Dash was actually paying attention which meant something was happening. Applejack's eyes were wide with awe and slight fear. Fluttershy was trembling obviously scared. Pinkie Pie was laughing which wasn't relatively new to Twilight. Rarity was making sure her mane didn't get messed up because of whatever was happening. And of course Spike was taking a nap. That's weird I didn't expect these reactions at all. Except for Pinkie Pie. I wonder what they're seeing?" Well anyway the spell was complete but something was wrong, everypony was holding onto something as if being sucked or pulled by something, although Twilight felt no such force. She turned around to see what was wrong and got greeted by a blue blur and passed out on the spot. "Twilight? Twilight?! Oh god, TWILIGHT!!!" The voice yelling at her wasn't one of her friends that was for sure. "Ngh, who are you?"  She couldn't see well everything was blurry, but she could make out something blue in front of her. "I'm Sonic the Hedgehog. Are you alright?" Sonic the Hedgehog had genuine concern in his voice for Twilight. "Yeah i'm okay. But how do you know my name?" Twilight asked "Well these five told me about what had happened when i crashed into you." "Crashed into me What're you-" Twilight remembered just before she passed out that something blue crashed into her. "That was you!" Twilight yelled "Hold on a second i didn't mean to crash into you it was the portals fault." Sonic explained "Let me explain what happened." And he did every detail down to when the portal opened to when he crashed into Twilight. "That's about everything." "Well it seems ya'll had one heck of a ride." Applejack said "But that's not even the worst part of it." Sonic said "Eggman escaped with some weird mixed up creature." "Discord!" Everypony gasped "Discord? Whats a Discord?" "He's a being of pure evil. An entity of dis-harmony and chaos." Twilight explained "Oh no, then that means Discord and Eggman have teamed up. They basically have the same goals. We have to catch them!" Sonic said "Well then what are we waiting for? Let's go after 'em." Rainbow Dash said and zoomed towards the portal. Applejack grabbed Rainbow Dash by the tail. "Hold up! I know ya'll want to go and catch them varmints but we need a plan." "What Applejack says is true we do need a plan." Said Twilight "I say we gather some supplies and go after them with Sonic he knows that world best." "I'll admit that's not a bad plan." Said Rainbow Dash "Then it's agreed we'll go get some supplies come back here and go on an adventure!" Said the overly excited Pinkie Pie. "Yeah we'll all meet back here in twenty minutes. Agreed?" "Agreed" Said everypony "Wait what about me?" Asked Spike "Oh you'll be coming along to make sure we have everything we need." Said Twilight "I don't know Twilight." Said Sonic "Do you really think he'll stay like that there's more chaotic energy in my world then here." "Oh don't be silly Sonic Spike will still be Spike no matter where we are." Twilight said with a smile. "OK, if you say so." Twenty minutes later"Well is everypony ready?" Asked Twilight "Ready" Everyone answered at once. "Well then let's go Sonic, you lead the way." "Alright." And so everyone stepped into the portal.
