It had been a generally normal day at CHS. Well, as normal as it could get, with all the magic students and Equestrian artefacts and stuff. But hiding in the shadows, a renegade singing group known as the Dazzlings were scheming their next plot. But without their dark magic, they couldn't really do much.
"Man, this is getting boring. Without being able to feed, we can't be the Sirens we used to be," a lavender-skinned girl with ridiculously long pigtails said. This was Aria Blaze, one of the backup singers in the band known as 'The Dazzlings.' Her outfit was about as ridiculous as her hair, but nobody ever said anything about it. "I'm tired of running away, Adagio. We need to get back out there and get our magic back!"
"Well, we can't exactly do that, Aria," piped up a light-blue-skinned female with a super-long ponytail. This was Sonata Dusk, the other of the backup singers in 'The Dazzlings.' Unlike Aria, her outfit was a little more bearable, but she was a little air-headed at times. "Those Rainbooms really mean business, and we probably won't get another chance with them around."
"Nobody asked you, Sonata," Aria said, coldly. "How many times have I told you to ONLY SPEAK WHEN SPOKEN TO?"
"Now now, you two. Don't you be bickering again. That's what others are supposed to do," a yellow-skinned girl with a ridiculously long and poofy ponytail. This was Adagio Dazzle, the lead singer. She was bad to the core, and was the leader of the Dazzlings. "Besides, we don't have our amulets. We can't sap magic without them."
"You are weak..."
"But I can give you strength..."
"Wh...who's there?" Adagio asked. All three of them had heard the same message in their heads.
"My name is none of your concern, but I am a part of you..."
"Look around your necks, for I will be there..."
The three Dazzlings did as they were told and found their gems, intact and attached to what was left of their necklaces. Adagio's, however, looked NOTHING alike the others. It was glowing a lot brighter, was more jagged, and appeared to have a small spirit imprisoned inside. They were surprised for a second, then Adagio began to smirk viciously, her eyes flashing slightly red. They had their magic back, and they had a plan. This was going to get ugly for CHS and the entirety of Human Equestria.
