After a series of nightmares plaguing Smolder in her sleep, she and Ocellus decide to go on a short vacation trip along with their friends as advised by Counselor Starlight. With careful planning and consideration, they picked a nice spot just outside of Canterlot, a place untouched by ponies and creatures alike.

What they did not know is that the place holds a secret portal that leads to a much more horrific version of the crown jewel city of Canterlot.
