Applejack's Horseback Riding Lesson Sci-Twi calls Applejack to tell her she will be at Sweet Apple Acres. “Hey Applejack, my parents are gonna drive me to Sweet Apple Acres.” “That’s great Twilight, can’t wait to tell you what i have planned.” “Bye Applejack.” “Bye Twilight.” After she calls her friend she puts her phone in her bag and gets ready. She puts on her purple boots with pink stars and her mother calls her get to the car. She walks out of the house with her mother and father, she closes the door her mother locks it they walk to the car and drive away. She texts Applejack that she is on her way, and then she and her parents arrive at Sweet Apple Acres. Her parents drop her off at Sweet Apple Acres to meet Applejack for a fun activity she planned for the weekend. Sci-Twi walks out of the car. “Have a great day with your friend sweetie.” “Thanks dad.” She waves at her parents as they drive off she walks to the farm to meet Applejack, as she walks she waves hello to Apple Bloom while she’s carrying apples, an apple falls off a tree she catches it and puts it in her bag to eat for later, she sees Big Mac feeding the chickens and sees Applejack at the barn finishing her work. “Hey Applejack.” she says while she waves at her. “Howdy Twilight, glad you made it.” “So what activity should we do today?” Sci-Twi said. “Come with me and i’ll show you.” Applejack said. Sci-Twi and Applejack walk to the stables. “So Twilight i wanna ask you something.” “What is it?” Sci-Twi asked. “Have you ridden a horse before?” Applejack questioned. Applejack brings out a horse out of the stable, a appalossa stallion with a light brown coat, a dark brown mane and tail, a white muzzle, a white blanket with white spots, a brown saddle, a green saddle pad and a brown bridle. “No i haven’t.” Sci-Twi said. “Do you want to know how?” Applejack said. She thinks about it and accepts. “Sure i like to.” Sci-Twi said. “Yeehaw! Sounds great.” Applejack said in excitement. ********************************************************************************************************* Applejack teaches Sci-Twi how to ride a horse. “So what kind of horse is he?” Sci-Twi questioned. “He is an appalossa and he happens to be one of my favorite horses, go ahead and pet his mane he likes it.” Applejack said. Sci-Twi pets the horse’s mane, while she does it the horse smells her bag. “Oh looks like you smelled my apple.” she said. She brings out a apple out of her bag. “I was going to eat it later, but i can wait a little longer.” She gives the horse her apple, he eats it and neighs happily. She giggles and Applejack chuckles a little. “I think he likes you.” “What’s his name?” Sci-Twi asked. “His name is Lonestar, i’ve been riding him since during my freshman year at Canterlot High.” “So how do i get on?.” “It’s easy sugercube, you put your left foot on the stirrup, put your hands on the horn of the saddle, then you push your left foot down on the stirrup and throw your right leg on the other side. She did what Applejack said she approached the horse, puts both of her hands on the horn of the saddle, puts her left foot on the stirrup, pushed her left foot down on the stirrup hoisted herself up and successfully mounted the horse. she landed leaning forward, she felt a little nervous. “Wow Lonestar looks taller than he did on the ground” she said nervously. “Great job Twilight now keep your back straight and hold on to those reins. To get him movin’ give him a little kick, if ya’ want him to slowdown gently pull back on the reins, if you do anything aggressively he won’t like it. She keeps her back straight nodded her head, looked forward gently kicked the horse’s side with her boot and then he started walking. “See how easy that was Twilight?” “Yes, this is nice.” She does a few laps around the stable area. “How about you do a trot?” Applejack said “How do i do that?” Sci-Twi said. “Give him an other kick.” Sci-Twi kicks the horse’s side and it starts to trot, at first she was afraid she could fall off and hurt herself, but she starts to smile. Applejack, brings out her own horse and mounts it. She raced up to Sci-Twi and slowed it down for a trot. “So Twilight, what do you think.” “I’m liking it, thank you Applejack.” “Your welcome.” Both of them stopped their horses. “Good boy” Sci-Twi said while she patted lonestar’s mane. “We should do this again someday on weekends.” “Sound great Twilight.” ********************************************************************************************************* The sun starts to set, Sci-Twi’s parents come back to pick her up, they get out of their car to look for her. “Twilight!, were here to pick you up.” her mother said. Sci-Twi calls her parents to meet her at the stable. As they got there they see her riding a horse, and they walk to the outside of the fence. Sci-Twi trots Lonestar to them, pulls back on the reins and stops him. “Wow Twilight, you’re riding a horse.” her father said. “I know and it’s amazing, i like to do this again someday can i mom?” “Sure sweetheart, let’s take pictures of her honey.” her mother said. “That’s great, let’s do that.” her father said. “You can take many pictures as you want.” Applejack said. Sci-Twi’s mother takes her phone out to take pictures of her. “Smile Twilight.” her mother said. She smiles as she rides on Lonestar, her mother takes several pictures of her, one of her petting him, one of her giving him a apple, one of her riding with Applejack’s hat, one of her and Applejack riding Lonestar together, and one of her riding while waving her hand. And the she and her parents get to the car, she waves goodbye to her friend, Applejack waves back at her as she and her parents drive back home.
