Chapters It is said that the plasma rifle's machine spirit and the hellblaster is a bond that like that of a wolf and its bone, their saga is one of inextricably intertwined. And when I heard they were having a sell on hellblasters for those who wish to start their armory in Dallas I jumped onto shit so fast that I think I broke the law slightly to get my hands on a set!
The sell was if you bought the squad of hellblasters you get to pick 5 paints for a chapter and a stand to hold the figures along with paint tools under 50 US dollars any warhammer 40k fan would want to get their hands on it. I always wanted to start my own 40k army, space wolves where my favorite next to the salamanders along with my cleric back ground the space viking/werewolves where a prefect start to my army. Though I would want them to wear helmets mostly out of the fact I was terrible at painting flesh and other things.
Sadly I wouldn't get to paint that set...or any other set for that manner, I was on the ground bleeding out from a gun shot.
What happened? Well the moment I exited the store some junkie pulled me into a ally he pulled out a gun point blank to my face demanding money. Of course I tried to stay claim and try to tell the man to calm down, but the dude was clearly behind his last fix and wasn't going to claim down any time soon. I tried to tell him I didn't carry cash for this very reason but he wasn't having it as he took the plastic bag that held my stuff I just bought. That was when I made the mistake of punching him in the face out of holding my own against him, the moment I punched him. He fired.
A single .32 round.
A round travailing at the speed of sound entered my chest.
My jacket provided no protection from the small caliber as it went into my chest. I felt the round enter my chest ripping at the flesh and breaking my ribs into tiny pieces that added to the damage, the lead round then went though my heart as the bone fragments ripped apart my lungs.
Then came the pain.
A white hot pain that encased my entire body inside and out.
Falling onto the hard ground I began to chock on my very own blood as the thug looked at me wide eyed before running off like a fucking coward.
Leaving me alone.
To die alone.
A terrible way to go, being alone as you died slowly and painfully.
Why? Why was this happening to me?
What have I done to deserve such a horrible fate?
Not to see my family one last time.
Not to see my friends last one time.
Not to see or walk on my ancestors home: Scottland.
Never getting the chance to pet a real wolf.
Or make that army.
I felt the blood rush to my mouth as I moved my head to look down to see my hellblaster box, reaching out I grabbed it as I began to tear up.
ITS NOT FAIR!
Its not fair...I never got the chance to build the army of my dreams.
Never...
Slowly my eye lids began to close as the darkness began to consume me.
Soon the pain faded into that darkness.
Then I saw the light.
(The Crystal Empire)
Cadance dropped to the floor breathing hard as she completed the spell, she held a hand on her heart as she felt a arm took hold of her. She looked up to see her husband Shining armor as he held a worried look over his bandaged head from the fight he had with that demon creature.
That's right. A demon, monsters made flesh.
These demons popped out of no where and attacked the crystal empire for no reason as they stormed the plaza within hours. The guards didn't stand a chance against these monsters they were forced to retreat to the keep of the empire where its citizens where packed into the small space as the barrier that was placed around them slowly faded. Most of the guards that remained where either too weak to stand or so wounded they can't even hold a weapon with the broken bones or removed limbs on their forms.
The princess did send a message to her sister-in-law for reinforcements but the barrier would fail before the reinforcements could even arrive. So she turned to the unthinkable, forbidding summoning magic. Dark magic that sombra used during their rule over the crystal empire long ago, she didn't want to use it but she had no other choice.
Hopefully this summon would save them.
"Did it work?" Shining asked.
"I hope so..." Cadance spoke as the smoke around infront of them began to settle down.
Before them was a large creature donned in armor of some kind, he towered over the two ponies as the two looked up to the being before them. Donned in great armor that held strange marking to that of coat of arms that was similar to knights out of old stories. The Heraldry on the armor was black, red, white, and yellow compared to frost blue armor that it held.
On the being's left shoulder pad held a red wolf who's mane was on fire.
Next with the other shoulder pad which was a gold and black spikes, on the right knee plate was a painted white with a red spike pointing down to the ground. It's armor also held a large wolf pelt acting as a cloak of sorts as a hood of pelt covered the helmet that held ruby red eyes that could pierce any dark soul. Its weapons were just as strange as well ranging from a strange looking sword to a box like device that was on the right leg of the creature before them.
Then it spoke...
"What the hell?"

'Where am I?'
'What is going on?'
'AND WHAT AM I WEARING!'
Looking at my hands I began to pat my self down as I was donned in some kind of...power...armor.
No.
Is this for real?
This can't be real...but yet it is!
I'm wearing a set of space wolves mark X Tacticus power armor! Not just any kind of power armor, SPACE WOLF POWER ARMOR!
OK half of me was freaking out (good kind) and the other was freaking out (bad kind), I didn't know what was going on. Was I now a fucking space marine of Leman Russ. Looks like it and...what! A plasma volley gun!
NO WAY I'M A HELLBLASTER!
Oh man this is so scary as it is awesome! While at the same time being very scary.
I was dying in a pool of my own blood the next thing I know I'm standing all fine in power armor!
This was awesome! Had I died and gone to heaven or something!
"Cadance what is it?" I blinked as I heard a familiar voice, slowly I turned down to a...anthro Cadance and shining armor?
Again...what the hell, what is happening?
The couple watched as the hooded figure turned to them before speaking.
"I'm a him. Not a it you milksop," The muffled almost mechanical voice warned the couple who blinked as the big creature looked down at them with 'his' towering figure.
Cadance blinked before standing up as her husband did the same thing, but even at their full height the giant towered over them. They watched the figure cross its arms to them as it waited form them to speak.
"Um...sorry sir knight for my husband we thought you might be some kind of machine under all that strange armor you wear Mister?"
"Vulk...Vulk Frostborn is my name. Now I want to know how I got here?" The giant spoke in a cold tone causing the blood of the two lovers to run cold at the voice. But Cadance then cleared her voice before taking a step forward.
"Sir Vulk I apologize in advance for anything that may have offended you but the reason I summoned you here-"
"Summoned? You are the reason you brought me here?" Vulk asked interrupting as he closed the gap to her as she gluped.
"Yes that is correct," She said with a shiver thinking that she might have angered the titan of a knight before her, but instead he titled his head like a dog confused.
"Why? Why have you brought me here child?" Child? Why did he call her that? Was he older than she thought? Hell for all she knows this Vulk could be as old as time, his armor did look worn and used along with the countless scratches and dents that were on the armor he must be a veteran of battle.
What stories he must hold to tell, but no she needed him to deal with the demon creatures outside.
"Sir Vulk I have brought you here to help us from monsters that are threatening my people. Please I ask of you help my people from this threat," Vulk looked at her as she watched him place a hand on his helmets chin as if to think of something but the banging on the shields was getting louder.
It wasn't going to hold them back for much lon-.
"Fine I will help your people," He spoke before leaning in closer as she could smell the musk of the wolf pelt that rested on his back and head. "But I will request something in return,"
She gulped before nodding.
"Good now we must deal with this 'demon' threat you have but don't cross me if you do," He placed a hand on her shoulder before pulling her to his side and spoke in a dark tone. "I'll turn you into glue myself,"
Letting her go she shook her head as she pointed to the large crystal doors that were boarded shut as two of the more 'less' wounded were holding it back.
"Come Vulk the threat is behind those doors," She said waving to him as she gave a follow motion she lead the large metal creature forward to the barred door. As she then told the guards to stand aside they did as she used her magic to move the large bar of pure harden crystal, moving inwards the doors came in as they were meet with the demonic creatures behind the pink shield.
The doors opened the demons backed away from the shield hissing the moment they saw Vulk surprising Cadance as they never did that before. She watched as the large knight pull out the box like device that was slung on its side before bring it to helmet as it whispered something. Before she could ask why, the box device began to glow blue as it hummed slightly with a strange power that wasn't magic but something different.
"Now then what are you going to do? Do I walk though the shield or will I have to wait till you drop down the front of the shield?" Vulk asked.
Cadance shook herself before shacking her head before pointing to the shield.
"Just walk though and...good luck," The only response was the knight nodding before walking forward.
"Lock the door behind me," Vulk told her.
She nodded before waving to her two guards to close the doors and using her magic she barred the door again as she heard a wolf like howl next to the demons roaring.
No fear...I felt no fear.
Even as I fought these freaks the hint of fear was like a distance memory, with no fear I pulled the trigger to my partner as a wave of blue hot plasma ripped though the horde of demons. These 'demons' were not even worthy of being called so more like cannon fodder they might have a large amount of numbers but that meant nothing if you were the one with a Heavy plasma incinerator. Blue fire mixed in with the blood of these freaks as they screeched in pain causing me to give a fanged grin as I readied armor wave of the all father's wrath upon these 'demons'.
"DIE!" Pulling the trigger I sent three waves of energy at the enemy before me.
The black bone armor they had meant nothing as the weapon I held was made to deal with heavy enemy armor turning it into molten slag. Yet the horde but not as many one would expect, yet it didn't matter the waves of enemies where meet with my weapon's plasma waves.
The emptiness I held turned to joy as I began to laugh at my enemies's misfortune. Their skin was turn to a soup as their bones melted like molten metal into the soupy flesh and blood.
This was too easy!
And yet this proved a problem to these ponies?! How dumb is that?
For I Vulk Frostborn had turned the crystal pony massacre into a massacre for the 'demons', they were cut down to size within moments as I lowered my weapon to see...I won?
The horde of almost 5,000 was now molten statues of burnt bone and puddles of flesh and blood, and to those that did retreated they would know not to come again or face the wrath of my machine spirit. Smiling I pushed the vent button to my rifle as it gave a loud hiss of steam.
"Thank you my friend," I spoke to the rifle.
Nothing came from the weapon but the vents closing as I looked up to the sky.
A new life was laded out before me and I was liking it!

Ok guys this might be a little late coming out since I got a bug (sick) but I'm feeling a bit ok now so yeah. I was running in my sleep on my bed too believe it or not.
FWI the level is 4:
Cadance was wide eyed at what was before her, the horde that threaten the entire kingdom had been seconds away from total victory of slaughter was now GONE! Around the keep of her castle was the smoking statue like corpses of the demons as they were left blacken and skeletal with frozen screams on their faces.
Her entire guard platoon didn't stand a chance against this threat but this Vulk was able to deal with the entire attacking force single handing killing them/driving them back! She turned to see the marine sitting on the ground with some fillies hearing him speak of a story of a 'Leman Russ'. Crossing her arms she was slightly afraid of the summon that she brought into this world, if he could easily handle a few hundred demons within a few hours than what could he do with it if he wishes to turn on the world?
He could easily reduce the Equestrian army to the same fate as these demons and maybe handle himself against the elements or shining armor and her love...well Maybe the first. Their love hadn't been strong lately because if it was they wouldn't have summoned Vulk, it was strange why hadn't their love was enough? Well their relationship had taken a turn a bit of a turn and they haven't been 'doing it' for a while maybe it was because of Flurry heart but that wouldn't-
"Lady Cadance," A deep muffled voice spoke from behind her causing her to 'eep' as she turned to see Vulk behind her.
"DON'T DO THAT!" She yelled at the marine.
"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you Lady Cadance but it seems that you have guess," He gestered with his hand to a familiar chariot that held the symbol of her sister-in-law's lands symbol, a small army flying in behind it in purple gold armor of the equestrian air army and wonderbolts.
As the chariot landed a worried twilight and the rest of the six popped out, Cadance smiled as the now sightly taller twilight ran to Cadance matching in height. She ran and gave her a hug as she smiled and gave her sister a hug as well before breaking it with a smile.
"Cadance when I got your Note saying you were being over run I came as soon as I got the note from barb but it...seems...you...already...who is this?" She said pointing to the space wolf, Cadance placed a hand on the arm of the tall warrior.
"This twilight is Vulk Frostborn he is the one who saved us...and I may have used a spell to summon him," Twilight went wide eyed before turning to her princess sister-in-law.
"You used Sombra's spell book didn't you," She gave a sad nod before Twilight held out her hands. "Cadance that is dark magic you could have summoned something far worse than a demon!"
Before Twilight can rat on at how bad dark magic is the space wolf waved his hand.
"Bah those 'things' aren't even worthy of behind called demons," The two turned to the giant who crossed his arms. "I've fought the sons of Khrone those where demons,"
Twilight then walked up to Vulk who raised her head to his level before speaking.
"And what are you Vulk Frostborn? Are you some kind of demon hunter?" The queen of Equestira said to the space marine who shook his hand slightly.
"More or less. I am not a demon hunter but I do slay them when I am faced with such threats. But I am a Space marine of the space wolves chapter, an angel made flesh to kill the heretic, the demon, the traitor, and the alien," The space marine placed a hand on his chest red diamond with gold wings on its sides.
The two looked at him before Twilight spoke.
"What are we to you Vulk. Are we aliens to you?" she asked as her horn glowed slightly.
The space wolf only laughed as he looked down to her with his arms held out.
"No, dear Queen I may not be a inquisitor that shots at anything that moves but I do know a ally when I see one," The space wolf said with a cheery smile behind his helmet.
Before Twilight could say anything a pink blurr was on the marine within moments with a force that would knock down most ponies/creatures but for the marine it was nothing. Pinkie pie hung on the chest plate of the marine with a smile as she greeted herself.
"HII'MPINKIEPIEANDI'MGLADYOUSEEUSASFREINDSBIGGUY!ANYWAYWHYAREYOUSOTALL!ANDWHATSWITHTHEPELTONYOURARMORAND-"
Pinkie was then gently grabbed before she was pulled off the titan before being placed on the ground.
"I glad to have meet you as well Pinkie pie but please don't ask so many questions so fast I may be a super human but I too have limits," When twilight heard the word 'human' her jaw dropped.
"HUMAN?!" The titan turned to her.
"Um...yes I'm a super human," He said aloud to the shocked twilight.
"B-b-b-but how?!" Vulk turned to her with a serious look under his helmet.
"You speak as you know of my 'former' race like you know of them," He spoke in a low tone as he moved down to her level. "Are their any here?"
Twilight looked up at the towering super soldier's face plate who was inches away from her face.
"W-w-well no I heard humans from stories like stories from the elves and dwarfs about them!" She lied dodging a well placed bullet as she held out a finger.
Vulk didn't move before giving a huff as he pulled back looking back down at her.
"So you have squats here as well...*places hand on his chin* but elves those were only in stories that I read in a few books in my chapters library. Well as long as they are not Eldar everything will be fine," Vulk said that last bit to himself.
"Sooooo what happens now?" Asked rainbow dash. "I mean what if those creatures come back to finish the job?"
The wolf only chuckled as he turned to air commander of the wonderbolts.
"They will deal with me of course,"
Cadance turned to the marine with a surprised look.
"What are you saying Vulk?" She asked to which Vulk replied with a much softer voice.
He raised his hand in the air out to her as a soft chuckle came from his helm.
"Since your in no shape to reward me for my actions I will stay here as you rebuild to make sure those 'things' don't come back to finish the job...until then where can I find a pint in this city," The large human said as he walked away from a surprised Cadance looking for a pub.

*Sigh* Space wolves and their beer am I right lads? Well besides that I'm feeling slightly better I would have this posted yesterday if I wasn't resting as much.
Also yes I added Elves and Dwarfs...I really want to write a chapter where A dwarf/elf challenges Vulk to a drinking contest.
