It has been 6 years of silence for the Human 7 and their families, enjoying their normal lives without a care for the world. But soon Inferno's past comes back to haunt him, his family and his friends, as the terrorist syndicate the Sons of Sombra and their cold-blooded leader Silver Scorpion breaks the peace as they emerge from their hiding, determined to capture the Human 7 and take their magic. For the sake of their families and loved ones, our heroes are now forced to leave Canterlot City and escaped to several parts of the world with the terrorists following them as they go.

Will they be able to escape this war that they found themselves pulled into? Only time would tell.
