Double Date

It was another day at Wonderbolt Academy. All the Wonderbolts were doing what they knew best. Fly, train, impress.

The Wonderbolts routine was always the same, they almost never went out to do anything else, and it was starting to get a little boring for some of them.

"Ma'am?" Rainbow Dash said knocking on Spitfire's office door.

"In between"

Rainbow Dash entered the room and approached the yellow mare.

"Do you need something Crash?"

"Actually ... I kind of would like to ask a question"

"What question?"

"Well you see, every day is always the same here at gym, we almost never go out to do anything different, all we ever do is train, train and train. I'm not complaining, I love to train. But I I think sometimes we could do something different, even at least once a month"

"Ok, and what do you suggest to make that change?" Dash smiled

"Well we could all go out to have fun together, what do you think? I think it would be pretty cool"

"Well that sounds like a good idea, I'll think about your case"

"Thank you ma'am, now I need to meet with Soarin"

"You really don't get together anymore, do you? Since you started dating all you two do is stay with each other all the time. It's cute, but sometimes it's kind of nauseating ..." Dash laughed

"Yes, we do love each other's company, but what about you and Fleetfoot? How are you?" Spitfire blushed

"We're fine, she's a great pony"

"Well, I wish you luck in your relationship, see you later ma'am" Dash said as she left the room.

"See you later Crash"

Spitfire had gathered all the Wonderbolts to make a statement.

"Well Wonderbolts has been a long time since some of you wonder why we never went out to have fun? Well so today I'm here to solve this problem, I would like to invite you all to have fun" The Wonderbolts seemed very excited about the idea

"As well as we are so many I am going to break up into groups so we can all have fun in different ways, well let's see ... Group 1: Surprise, High Winds, Silver Lining and Wave Chill, Group 2 : Misty Fly, Lightning Streak , Blaze and Thunderlane, and last but not least: Rainbow Dash, Soarin, Fleetfoot and me. Well Wonderbolts I wish you all a beautiful day of fun! "

"So ready for a fun day?" Rainbow Dash said

"Sure baby!" Soarin said

"Well then we better get going, where do you really want to go?" Fleetfoot asked

"Maybe not ... Food Express?" Spitfire suggested

"Sounds great to me sweetheart" Fleetfoot said

Suddenly Dash's eyes began to glow, and an idea came to mind.

"Guys, why don't we have a double couples date instead of an informal meeting of friends? Because after all we are here dating," she said.

"Yes that sounds like a great idea Dashie" Soarin said

"Ok so it's gonna be a couples date" Spitfire said

The four Wonderbolts flew to the Good Express Restaurant in Cloudsdale for their double date.

"Guys here have a vacant table for four ponies," Fleetfoot said pointing to a table near the window in the restaurant.

The four ponies then walked to the table and sat down. Rainbow Dash was sitting with Soarin and Spitfire was sitting with Fleetfoot.

"Wow this restaurant is huge! I almost never had a chance to come here" Dash said

"Yes, it is because it is one of the best restaurants in Equestria, and only the famous ponies come here. But since we are all Wonderbolts, they had to make an exception for us," Fleetfoot said.

A garson then approached the couples.

"Good evening Wonderbolts, how can I help such amazing celebrities today?"

"Just as tonight is an important day we'll want the best of your menu including four apple ciders" Spitfire said

The garson took the order and then left.

"And so ponies, isn't it cool to go out every once in a while?" Dash asked

"Sure, Crash, we could do that more often if someone didn't worry about work all the time," Fleetfoot said sarcastically, pointing to Spitfire.

"Me? I'm just taking care of my work, and that's why we got to where we got, so be quiet Flatfoot!" Spitfire said

"I know you love me," Fleetfoot said while smiling seductively at Spitfire. They then leaned in for a quick kiss on the lips.

"Oh you are just cute, but how did you find out your feelings for each other?" Dash asked

"Well we were always great friends, so one day Fleetfoot was comforting me because of some problems with my mother, and then she said she liked me and I said she liked her, so that's it together today" Spitfire said

"This is really very cute Spitty, in fact I always suspected that you liked each other, I just didn't know when that was going to happen" Soarin said

"Yeah, they could barely hide their feelings right from anyone," Dash said.

"Look what you're talking about, at least we're not a couple who don't go together and even take a shower together," Spitfire said, Dash and Soarin blushing a bright red.

"Shhhh shut up Spitfire! We're in public don't have to say that now, and how did you find that out anyway?" Soarin said

"Oh please you're not the most discreet couple you know, are you?" She said

"Ok can we change the subject now please?" Dash said and everyone nodded.

"I was thinking Crash? How was your first date with Soarin?" Fleetfoot asked

"Oh it was great, he took me to a restaurant, then we went to a beautiful field where there were fireflies, the moon was shining, and we were in each other's company, oh it was so romantic, I think it was one of the best dates in But of course this goofball took centuries to think about inviting me out! " Dash said

"Hey! I tried a lot of ways, but you know it's not, I'm kind of shy about these things" Soarin said

"Yeah I know Clipper," Dash said as shr kissed Soarin on the cheek, and caressed her cheek on his cheek.

Suddenly the restaurant musicians began to play a beautiful song that the four ponies loved.

"I love this song" Spitfire said

"Yes is so romantic" Dash said

"Well since you like romance so much, what do you think about dancing with me, pretty lady?" Soarin said extending the hull to Dash. Dash blushed and picked up his hoof

"I'd love to Clipper" so they went to the dance floor and started dancing.

"And you? Would you like to dance with me?" Fleetfoot said

"But of course" Spitfire said

Then they took each other's hooves and went to the dance floor where Soarin and Rainbow Dash were.

The two couples began making various dance moves while dancing happily with their peers.

When the song ended, they decided to sit down to eat.

When dinner was over they returned to headquarters, and as none of the other Wonderbolts had arrived yet, the four ponies decided to have a mini sleepover with several games to play as a couple.

"Ok, let's see if you guess, what is the food that Rainbow Crash doesn't like?" Spitfire said

"That's easy, pie. Although I LOVE pies, especially apple pies," Soarin said.

"That's the only thing we don't have in common, while he loved pies I just want away from all of them," Dash said.

"Ok now we'll ask Fleetfoot a question about Spitfire" Soarin said

"Okay, Fleetfoot say what makes Spitfire angry and happy most" Dash said

"Well, what pisses her off the most is her being asked from the middle of the job, and what makes me most logically happy," Fleetfoot said as she put a hoof around her girlfriend.

"Yes we'll see" Spitfire said blushing

Soon after the four ponies decided to go to sleep, and lay down with their beloved.

"Good night Fleet," Spitfire said as she lay with Fleetfoot.

"Good night Spitty," Fleetfoot said, and soon after they began to close their eyes to go to sleep.

"Looks like our double date today was a great choice" Dash said

"Yes ..." Soarin said as he stroked Dash's mane and she snuggled into his chest

"Good night Soar, I love you"

"Good night Dashie, I love you too"

Later the other Wonderbolts arrived and stopped to see the two scenes in front of them. The two couples lying in bed sleeping from each other's grip.

"Looks like someone had fun today" Misty Fly said

"Yes, SoarinDash and Fleetfire FOREVER!" Surprise said screaming at the end and the other Wonderbolts said "SHHHHH" to her so she wouldn't wake the sleeping couples

"Ops sorry"
