Chapters Chapter 2 An unfriendly welcome
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. One year ago.
“So how bad is it, doc?” Twilight asked the doctor. It was another one of her daily check ups at the hospital. Her condition was getting worse so her friends insisted that she go see a doctor.
“It’s nothing we’ve ever seen before, your condition is quite unique Boss.” Said a white mare with a pink mane. She wore a nurse hat that bore the traditional red medical cross.
“Nurse Red Heart, please it can’t be that bad. Right?” Twilight said with a smile.
“I’m afraid it is pretty bad Boss, your body is slowly getting weaker and weaker. Yet from what you told me, you're still able to produce impressive strength despite the weak body. Especially after that accident you had, you need to lay off on the impressive strength it won't do you any good but drag you down to your grave.”
“Wait, what happened to me during that accident?” Twilight had a look of shock and surprise on her face.
“I’m afraid your body’s undergone trauma to the chest. That rock that hit you did more to your body than you may have realized.”
“I see, so how long do I have exactly?” Twilight sighed.
“You’ll be fine as long as you lay off the impressive powers of yours, but I’m afraid if you use it more you’ll eventually die from overusing it. So think carefully before using your strength Twilight.”
“I’ll keep that in mind”
“One more thing Twilight. We do have a treatment for this by magical means but I'm afraid it’ll take us a while to prepare the spell.” Nurse Red Heart smiled as she looked to Boss Twilight. Hearing this perked Twilight's mood a bit.
“Thanks doc. I appreciate it.” Twilight smiled and left the Doctor’s office leaving the room.
“So I just need to stop using my strength until my next appointment. Guess that means in the meantime I should stick to using magic.” She lights her horn up to levitate a pencil and starts writing down on a piece of paper.
After Twilight’s doctor appointment she had to go visit AJ for some kind of party in thanks for her ending the war, which was long overdue since it had been more than a year since the war ended.
Even though Twilight was good at magic she hadn’t used it for a while ever since returning back to Equestria. She found out that some of her magic had weakened over the course of her adventures with Daring Do across worlds.
By the time Twilight got to Sweet Apple Acres AJ was already there waving at her. Not much has changed at the farm aside from the additional defenses to protect the apples from apple thieves. She had cameras and turrets at the entrance and barbed wire fences surrounded the entire field of apple trees. Twilight levitated herself down from above as she went through some kind of barrier meant to keep unwanted thieves from flying or making their way over the fence.
“Hey AJ, what’s up?” She smiled
“Ah can never get used to flying like that you know, levitation and stuff.” Applejack said
“Heh sorry, it’s something I picked up in another world. Levitation was pretty easy to master.” She smiles and laughs a small bit as memories come back.
“What's so funny?” Applejack asked.
“Oh nothing just remember the first time I tried to levitate wasn’t really one of my best moments.” She couldn’t help but giggle remembering it. “I may have fallen face first on the first attempt.”
“Haha sounds just like you diving head first in any situation.” AJ said laughing a bit herself at the thought.
“So what did the doctor say?” AJ had a look of worry.
“I’ll be fine Applejack. I just have to stop using my strength for some time. They’re going to have me undergo some special spell that will cure me.” Applejack made a sigh of relief of hearing the good news.
“That’s great! Now come help me out with the apples if you don’t mind.” AJ said but as soon as they took one step towards the apple field an alarm went off.
“Dang it now what?” AJ said, turning around to look at the entrance. There stood a pony who seemed quite out of it. That wasn’t the only thing that surprised them though. The pony looked up and raised a hoof up in the air, as the pony did that a giant ball of black energy started to grow at the tip of their hooves.
“What the heck! AJ go warn the others. I”ll hold whoever this is off.” Twilight said, giving AJ a stern look.
“But what about you? You know you can’t use your strength this time, right? And your magic’s not so strong either.
“I’ll figure something out now go!” With that AJ ran into the barn to get the others. Leaving Twilight with her mystery pony alone.
The strange pony tilt its head at Twilight, not making a word. It stood there holding a now giant ball of black energy. Twilight had to admit that was quite impressive. She had controlled dark energy like that before but now she can’t.
“Alright who are you and what do you want?” Twilight asked the pony who didn’t respond to her.
“Fine, if you won’t talk then I guess you leave me no choice but to fight you.” With that said, Twilight Sparkle drew her sword with her mouth and braced herself for battle.
“T-Twilight……...TWILIGHT!!!!!!!” The strange pony spoke in quite an angry tone. As her name was shouted a huge gust of wind started to blow outwards from the pony. The aura was getting stronger somehow but Twilight didn’t understand what. Suddenly Twilight instantly realized who this pony was.
Before Twilight could ponder about the pony’s outburst, the pony throws the giant ball of black energy towards Twilight. Seeing this Twilight ran towards the ball and tried to hold it back. She utilizes a little bit of her strength and all the magic she could possibly muster to stop that ball of darkness from trashing the farm, the farm where her friends were having a party in.
“Damn it's no use, I can’t hold this ball of energy back without using my full strength.” Twilight said noticing that she’s getting pushed back by the ball of energy making skid marks on the ground.
Twilight soon sees her friends, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and even Fluttershy was helping her push back the ball of energy, as soon as they did this the ball was pushed back in the other direction.
“Stop! We have to somehow sling this thing upwards! Twilight shouted.
“None of us can push this thing upwards, Twilight” Rainbow Dash grunted. At this point the ball was getting bigger as the aura of the strange pony continued to grow stronger.
“And from the look of it, the attack’s only getting stronger. We can’t resist it for much longer, Twilight.” Rarity spoke as she grunted.
“I guess I have no choice. Rainbow Dash... Take care of our daughter for me.” Rainbow Dash looked confused as Twilight said this. Twilight looked back at the ball of energy as she used her full power to push the ball upwards into the air.
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!” Twilight grunted as she threw the ball of energy to what she assumed to be the endless space. However as soon as Twilight was finished throwing the ball of energy she grew weak and started coughing up blood. Eventually passing out for a short time.
Rainbow Dash ran towards Twilight trying desperately to wake her up. Rainbow Dash then heard another thud and saw the strange pony who she assumed threw the ball of darkness they struggled to push together. Seeing the pony, Rainbow Dash ran towards the pony ready to pound them but stopped as soon as she got a closer look.
The strange pony that started this whole scenario was none other than Boss Twilight’s own daughter who had been seemingly sleeping. The pony had Twilight Sparkle's mane but she had Rainbow Dash’s rainbow coat. Two traits she got from both her mothers.
“STARBRIGHT!!!!!” Rainbow Dash said in surprise at seeing her daughter. Starbright jumped at Rainbow’s shout. She was having a peaceful dream after what felt like a nightmare ended.
“Mom, what’s the big idea, can’t you see I'm trying to get some shut eye?” She said stretching her hooves. The second Starbright took a look at her surroundings she realized she wasn’t where she was earlier.
“Wait, how did I get here?” She asked her mother who wasn’t paying any attention to her now. She flew towards the unconscious Twilight.
“TWILIGHT! Wake up come on. This isn’t funny, Twilight.” Rainbow said, holding back tears as she tried to wake up Twilight. Rainbow Dash’s efforts were in vain because Boss Twilight didn’t wake up. Eventually Twilight did wake up after coughing up a lot more blood which now stained her purple coat.
“Thank goodness! you're ok, Twilight” Rainbow Dash said relieved.
“Rainbow... I don't have much longer.” Twilight began coughing up more blood.
“NO! You’ll be fine, Twilight. Just hang in there. I'M NOT GOING TO LOSE YOU! Not like this...” Rainbow Dash said as she took Boss Twilight to the hospital as fast as she could.
The doctors there tried to do everything they could to help Boss Twilight with her new injury, but it wasn’t enough to save her. Her friends eventually gathered around the hospital bed so she could spend the last moments with her dear friends and her only daughter.
“Rainbow, please forgive Starbright for what she did to me. It wasn’t her fault that she put all of you in danger. I know my daughter would never put me or my friends in danger like that. It’s not in her, but we do have a problem. One I can’t really fix and must rely on my friends.” Twilight said smiling sadly.
“When I saw Starbright before she attacked us. I sensed something inside her, something Dark.
“I don’t recall any sort of enemy we have not defeated would want to go out of their way to kill you like this. Not to mention anypony who has the power to possess anypony... Everyone was slain by the elements or killed during the war against the zebras.” Rarity said fiddling with her gun as she was deep in thought about this.
“So Starbright, what happened to you, can you give us any leads to go on? Try to think hard and remember something while you were possessed.” Rainbow Dash asked, looking at Starbright.
“All I remember was going to bed and having a peaceful dream until a weird nightmare started to ruin my dream, but I don't think it's like any normal nightmare. The nightmares normal ponies have usually wake them up after a traumatic event scares the pony out of their dreams, but I couldn't wake up from this nightmare. No matter how hard I tried.” Starbright sobbed next to Twilight as she tried to recall the nightmare. Her mother rubbed her head and assured her everything was ok.
“It must’ve been pretty terrible for you, Starbright. But you have to be brave now and girls, whoever did this to me…… give them hell for me.” Twilight said, smirking at her friends who stood there.
Twilight closed her eyes with a smile on her face. Next came the dreaded sound of Twilight’s heart stopping on the machine monitoring her heart rate. Starbright and Rainbow Dash both started crying harder as she died. The others decided to leave and give the two mares some time alone.
“A nightmare you can’t wake up from huh, can’t say I've ever heard of that one, but either way we need to report this incident to Princess Luna. She will probably know more” Rarity stated as she looked at Applejack.
“Right, I’ll be sure to send a letter immediately and one more thing... It’s nice to see you taking charge of this situation Rarity.”
“Yes quite. Now then, let’s go and let Rainbow Dash and Starbright mourn in peace.” Rarity left the hospital and went on to investigate the mysterious incident.
Present Day
“We investigated long and hard on the incident, but never came up with any clues who had it out for Twilight. We didn’t tell Celestia or Luna about this part because we didn’t want them to worry about another threat to Equestria.” Applejack said finishing another cup of cider.
“Someone... Actually killed Twilight?” Daring Do looked shocked by the news.
“It would seem so, but honestly I think it was by pure luck. She died by sacrificing herself to save all of us. In the end we never did find out who it was that possessed Starbright. It’s quite a strange and unique power, it’s new to Equestria?” AJ said, looking at her empty mug with sad eyes.
“I’ll find out who's responsible for this, if it’s the last thing I do.” Daring Do said with angry eyes towards her mug of cider, drinking the last bit of it before standing up.
“If anyone’s going to get revenge for Twilight it’s going to be me.” Daring do said as she started leaving the stand. A dark aura began to surround Daring Do as she became filled with hatred. Eventually her eyes began to turn a shade of red over the natural magenta she always had.
However these new changes only lasted for a second as Daring Do reverted back to normal the further she walked.
Daring Do soon found herself standing before Twilight’s Golden Oak Library. She never thought she’d be here of all places. Yet she had to get some answers from her friend’s daughter.
Daring approached the tree house and knocked on the door. As she looked around she noticed that the windows were closed and sealed up to the point that you couldn’t even see what's inside the library. There was a sign on the door saying that the library was closed...
Seeing the library like this only meant one thing. Starbright didn’t want to see anypony. She was mourning the loss of her own mother. Something Daring Do could relate.
At first there wasn’t an answer to Daring’s knock, all she could hear was shuffling coming from the other side of the door. Soon the door opened and on the other side of the door was a sniffling Starbright.
“I figured you’d come find me Ms. Do. So what, do you want revenge for what I did? If so I won't stop you. I deserve it.” Starbright said as some tears were dripping down her cheeks. Her eyes were red from all the crying.
“No, I didn't come here to hurt you. I came to ask you a few questions. What you did wasn’t your fault. I know a pony like you would never raise a hoof against her own mother.” Daring gave her a soft smile.
“I’m sorry Ms. Do. But to be honest I’d rather not talk about that day.” She said looking down as her ears tilted back.
“I understand you must be mourning the loss of your mother but you really need to let ponies in. I was once like you when I heard the news of your mother's death.” Starbright opened the door and let Daring Do inside, figuring this would be a long story.
“You know how me and my daughter are capable of traveling between worlds, right?” Daring asked. Starbright nodded her head in confirmation.
“Well, I've been to many worlds and when I was down there was one specific world I'd always go to.”
3 months after Twilight's Death
Daring Do had spent the last three months training with Goku and the others trying to get her mind off of her friend’s death by drowning herself in training.
Daring Do was levitating in the air panting for breath as she kept a stance to continue fighting. Her opponent, Son Goku the Saiyan himself was wearing his normal orange gi and a blue shirt underneath. His hair was as spikey as Daring Do remembered it, spikes in almost every direction.
“Daring Do, is everything ok?” Goku asked, concerned. Looks like even he realized something was bothering her.
“What are you talking about, of course I'm fine.” Daring clearly lying to Goku.
“You say that but you’re not really putting effort into training today. You’re so much better than this Daring. I mean you went toe to toe with an actual god and Lord Beerus.” Goku explained.
“So what if I’m holding back, you’re holding back on me as well, I don't have a reason to go full power just yet.” Daring said taunting Goku to go all out.
“Well honestly I didn’t want to go all out for training purposes but if you insist.” Goku’s aura begins to grow in strength as he starts to transform into super saiyan blue. His divine aura changed colors from yellow to blue.
“That's more like it, now bring it on!” Daring said, preparing to fight. Daring Do didn’t really put up much of a fight. In fact it almost seemed to Goku that she wanted to get hit over and over again. She took some kicks to the face and even some punches down to her stomach.
Daring Do continues to stand up despite her injuries. Goku was surprised she was even able to last this long.
“Daring I think you’ve had enough, why not take a break and come see me when you get serious, alright?” With that goku reverted back to his normal self and took off into the sky.
“Wait! Goku! Ugh …… I was being serious….” She tried to get Goku’s attention but he was already long gone, leaving Daring by herself. She looks at herself as her injuries are slowly healing up.
Having nothing else better to do she flew towards a city. She knew that this was the place where Capsule Corp was located so she figured she should say hi to Bulma while she was here.
Daring Do levitated down at the entrance to Capsule Corp and knocked on the door. On the other side she was greeted by none other than Vegeta. He stood there wearing a pair of blue pants and shirt which blended well together so that it looked like an entire body suite.
“ Oh it's you, I thought I sensed Kakarot. What brings you here?” Vegeta asked. Daring Do smiled and looked at Vegeta. She couldn’t tell him all the details of why she was here. After all she wanted to forget and move on.
“ Oh I'm just here training in this world. Got a little spar in with Goku but he left me hanging”
“That's odd. Goku's never turned down a training partner. Especially someone who can go toe to toe with Lord Beerus. Figured he’d be more than happy to train with you. So what happened?” Vegeta said opening the door for Daring Do to come in
“Well he said that I might've not been giving it my all or being all that serious. Like I wasn't even trying and we’ve been at it for 3 entire months now.” Vegeta’s eyes widened at this as well furrowed into an angry expression.
“You’ve got to be kidding me, kakarot's been training this entire time?” Vegeta looked like he was about to transform into a super saiyan god as his spiky hair almost turned blue..
“ Calm down Vegeta, it's nothing to really worry about he wasn’t taking me seriously anyway. I doubt he got much training out of the fights.” Daring said, trying to calm the angry saiyan who grabs her and takes her outside.
“Come we’re going to go do some training of our own. And you better give it your all as well. I won't hesitate to kill you if you don’t.” Vegeta said taking Daring Do just outside the city where they could go as wild as they could without civilian casualties.
“That’d be the first…..” Daring Do looked sad at the idea of being killed by Vegeta which confused him.
“Do you want to die? Come on, let's get started!” Said the impatient Vegeta. Hearing that snapped Daring Do out of her thoughts about her immortality.
“Right!” Daring Do nodded as she created an aura around herself. Daring Do started practicing using her new spell she had created when she fought the god of darkness. She called it Limit Break
It was an immensely powerful spell that allowed the caster to go beyond their body’s limitations. But she had to be careful if she used too much she could easily die too little and she wont get any kind of strength boost from the spell.
Vegeta on the other hand went all out and transformed into Super Saiyan Blue at the get go. Daring Do soon found herself charging towards Vegeta as she tried to throw a punch at him. To Daring Do’s surprise he blocked it with his finger. Daring Kept throwing punch after punch to get a blow past Vegeta’s guard. Everytime she thrusted her fist as hard as she could towards Vegeta who continued to block.
“Maybe kakarot was right about you. Are you even trying to fight me?” Vegeta used his other hand and a blue ball appeared in front of it.
“BIG BANG ATTACK!” He fires a blast of energy at Daring Do at point blank. The blast sent Daring Do flying and slammed into a rock behind her.
“If you really want to live Daring Do you better dodge this!” Vegeta shouted as he was now a couple hundred feet in the air..
“FINAL FLASH!” He shouted and fired two beams together at the same time creating one large beam. Daring Do didn’t even try to dodge instead she took the blast head on. A giant Explosion soon follows after the attack. Smoke covering up a good bit of the battlefield now.
“Come on out Daring, I know you dodged my attack flawlessly.” Vegeta assumed since he could still sense Daring Do’s energy. However when the smoke cleared up it looked like Daring Do was Injured from the attack. Her clothes were now torn up a bit. A result from taking the final flash head on.
“What the hell Daring Do... How did you take a final flash to the face and still be standing?” Vegeta said with surprise. Daring Do only looked away sadly.
“ What's the matter?” Vegeta said with concern “Goku was right about you, you're not giving it your all and it's like you want us to kick your ass.”
Believe it or not he was right, Daring Do somewhat enjoyed the pain. It made her feel alive rather than immortal. At this point she wishes she could die but she knew that was impossible.
“Well are you just going to stand there or are you going to tell me what's going on in that head of yours?” Vegeta said, getting quite impatient. Daring Do looks at Vegeta with a sad look on her face.
“I doubt you’d understand.” She put a hand to her chest. “Yea I guess there is something bothering me but honestly I’m not really wanting to talk about it. I came here to forget, move on and get stronger.”
“Forget what exactly, what happened to you?” Vegeta said, staring at her with angry eyes.
“Didn’t I just say I didn't want to talk about it?” Daring Do snapped at Vegeta who continued to pry.
“You really think the dragon balls could bring someone back from another dimension?” Daring asked with little hope in her eyes.
“Yea well if that doesn’t work we can always use the super dragon balls.But i’m afraid that's out of the question as well. The super dragon balls were used quite recently. It’ll be some time before they show themselves again.”
“I guess I can give it a try.” Daring Said perking up a smile on her face.
“Well come on let's head back you need a change of clothes anyway.” Vegeta said guiding Daring Do back to the capsule corporation. Daring Do went inside and found herself greeted by Vegeta’s family. Bulma was busy taking care of a new born baby.
“So what's the cute little fella’s name?” Daring asked, smiling as she saw the baby. Bulma smiled at Do.
“We went for Bulla, isn't that right sweetie?” Bulma said looking at the baby. Daring Smiled as she looked at the baby.
“She must be quite the handful, huh?”
“Oh yea even more so when Vegeta doesn’t want to help me take care of her.” She stated glaring at Vegeta
“ Wha- I take care of her every now and then “ Vegeta protested
“ Sure you do. Anyway, it's nice to have you visit us Daring Do. What's the occasion? Looking for more of those shard things or-”
“Sorry Bulma but I'm just here to get my mind off of some things. I’d figure I train with Goku or Vegeta.”
“So why does that bring you here of all places shouldn’t you be outside training?”
“Bulma, where are the dragon balls. Daring Do here wants to make a wish.” Vegeta said.
“A wish? Ah right the dragon balls. Well I was saving them for a special occasion but i guess we do owe you one Daring Do for defeating the god of darkness. I”ll go make the preparations you just sit tight” Bulma said leaving the baby behind in her crib.
“So tell me something. You have immortality, don't you Daring Do?” Vegeta asked, giving Daring an angry look. He wasn’t really mad at her, it's just the way he always looked.
“Yes I do Vegeta. After the battle with the dark god I got stuck with immortality. Not really my fault that I have it.” Daring said.
“There was a time when I wanted what you have Daring but now. I don’t care for immortality. I have a Family now. With those types of ties, getting immortality won't matter.”
“You think I wanted this immortality, this damn thing was forced onto me. I didn’t ask for it .It just happened by accident.” Daring Do snapped at Vegeta.
“Ok I get it sorry I even asked.” Vegeta said noticing this was a sensitive topic. He clearly had no experience with consoling someone this upset.
Daring Do went to go follow Bulma who went deeper into the building. Though to Daring’s surprise she ran into Two little kids . One of them looked like a mini version of Goku and the other kid had short purple hair. Daring Recognized who they were.
“Trunks ? Goten? What's the rush?” Daring asked. The kids smiled and looked at Daring with excitement in their eyes.
“ We just heard that you came for a visit and thought we could have a little sparring session” Trunks said. Daring Do gave them a smile and shook her head.
“Sorry boys but I have a lot on my mind right now besides I doubt your parents would want you training so much. Especially yours Goten. I know how Chichi is.” Daring smiles patting both of them on the head.
“Maybe next time I visit we can spar alright?” After saying that to the kids Daring continued down to where Bulma Kept the dragon balls. She was pressing buttons on some consoles and a large cylinder object appeared out from the floor of the room. After many protected layers of protection the dragon balls were revealed to be inside a small cylinder object.
“You sure did go overboard protecting the dragon balls” Daring said, being quite impressed.
“Well when you have saiyans around you need the best of the best.” She smiles giving Daring Do the dragon balls. It was given to her in some container still protecting the dragon balls. Probably to further protect the dragon balls from thieves.
“Thanks Bulma, it means a lot to me that you're all doing this for me.”
“Don’t worry about it Daring. Any friend of Vegeta or Goku is a friend of mine in my book.” Bulma smiled. Though Daring wasn’t sure if she said that because she wanted to be friends or cause she feared Daring’s strength.
Daring took the dragon ball case outside. She knew how this works after hearing the stories of how goku used them in the past. She was once upon a time a time patroller who protected the timelines for a short period but had to leave that world in pursuit of other adventures.So she had partly lived through those events as well.
“Mighty shenron, I summon you to come grant my wish “ , Daring Shouted the Dragon balls started glowing and fired a beam of light upwards which turned the sky pitch black with clouds. The mighty dragon shenron soon breaks through the clouds and is curled up in the sky due to his massive body length.
“Wny have you summoned me speak your wish” The dragon spoke
“Dragon I want you to bring my best friend Boss Twilight from another dimension back to life.” Daring Said with a big smile on her face.with that said the dragon’s eyes glowed for a moment then stopped .
“ I’m afraid I cannot grant this wish.”
“ Wait what!? Why?! “
“Granting a wish like this is not within my power .I Can’t intervene in other worlds.”
“You’ve got to be kidding me……..Alright how about this then. Can you remove my immortality?” Daring Asked the dragon
“I’m afraid I cannot remove your immortality. It requires me to bring back a god who is also from another dimension.”
“Darn it.” Daring Said as all her hopes and dreams were immediately crushed by that fact.
It was then that Daring Sensed the presence of Goku and Vegeta appearing behind her. Goku looked at Daring Do with concern. Vegeta however didn’t give much of a look. He always keeps that same angry look on his face. Goku walks up to Daring and pats her shoulder noticing that she had tears rolling down her cheeks.
“I miss her so much……….” Daring Sniffled and wiped her tears away trying to put on a brave face in front of Goku.
“I’ll be fine, Goku. In fact there's only one wish I want .one i want to have in memory of Boss Twilight, '' Daring said, flying up to the dragon.
“Dragon I wish for the most powerful darkness ability or skill I can get. Boss Twilight was once known as the angel of darkness now I feel it's my turn to possess a power of darkness.” *Daring said putting a hand to her chest
The dragon confirms the wish and nods his eyes glowing as daring do is given a power of darkness.. After being hit by the power, Daring Do falls down to the ground and is caught by Goku.
“ Your wish has been granted, “ The dragon said. It didn’t look like anything had changed in Daring Do . Goku shrugged it off as a failed wish for the first time and used her unconscious state to snag the last two wishes
“Hey Shenron, can you whip us up a feast? I'm quite starved” Vegeta thwaked Goku on the head.
“Goku you idiot we don’t need to waste a wish for a feast “ With that said Vegeta realizes his mistake when he heard
“Your wish has been granted “ Vegeta’s jaw dropped as a table filled with food spawned right in front of them. Goku’s mouth began to water as he started chowing down on the food right in front of him. Vegeta just facepalms himself at his own stupidity.
“ Dang it. Well at least it’s not a total loss there's at least one wish left. Hey Shenron I wish for the best Training Gear you can possibly give me some that's useful for a super saiyan blue training”
“Your wish has been granted” The dragon said as some pair of clothes fell down with a very heavy thud on the ground. Leaving a mini crater where it stands there were other various training equipment for Vegeta.Training Weights and stuff Whis used for him to train back on Beerus’s planet.
Once the final wish was made the dragon balls scattered breaking the container they were in. This left Goku chowing down on food and Vegeta gathering the training equipment to put in his training room.
Daring Do slowly got up on her feet, her head pointing downwards. Her hair covering up her face. A black aura began to surround herself as rocks surrounding her began to levitate up into the air due to the sheer power she was producing.
This got the attention of Goku and Vegeta who stopped what they were doing because they sense a new power within Daring Do. She began to change her hair became darker than the normal shade it usually was .But the most noticeable change of all was her eyes when she looked up with a very angry expression. They were no longer the magenta eyes she normally had instead they were pure red eyes.
“This power it feels like-” Goku started saying and was cut off by Vegeta.
“Ultra instinct but that's impossible how is she able to achieve such a power so quickly”
“No Vegeta this is not ultra Instinct it's something far darker. This must be what the wish gave her. Dark instinct maybe?”
“Lets not call it that quiet yet after all this could just be a fluke “ Vegeta said looking at Goku by the time he turned around to face Daring Do she was already right in front of him a fist ready to punch him into the closest mountain. Vegeta barley had a chance to react.
“OK I call bull on that. How the heck did Shenron have such a dark power to give to Daring Do.” Vegeta said, levitating himself out of the rubble he was thrown into. He was already in super saiyan blue state when he came out of his impact zone.
“Goku?! “ Vegeta said, looking over where Goku was only to find him stuffing his face down as quickly as possible.
“Is food all you ever think about Goku?” Vegeta said annoyed at this.
“ Come on Vegeta, I haven't had a meal like this in forever Besides you're the one who wished for training gear why don’t you test her out first. “ Goku said nomming on some of the chicken
“Tch fine i don’t need your help anyways” Vegeta said charging at Daring Do and throwing punches at her. Surprisingly enough Daring Do leans back and dodges left and right. She then catches one of Vegeta’s punches and a smirk forms on her face. Vegeta eventually felt one no two no three hundred punches hit him at once. At least that's what the pain felt like after he felt Daring’s fist touch his chest. Vegeta started to cough up a small bit of blood.
After that attack was finished Vegeta fell to the ground in complete shock. Just as soon as Daring Do was going to deal a final deadly blow to Vegeta she stopped mid punch. Something was glowing around her neck. A necklace that no one realized she had until it began to glow. Vegeta looked at her confused.
Inside the mind of Daring Do.
“Where am I? “ Daring Said rubbing her head as if she had some headache. She found herself in what looks like an endless abyss of darkness. She noticed that she was back in her pony form in this place. Which didn’t make any sense to her. She was a saiyaness earlier wasn’t she? No details or anything told her she was standing on solid ground or not. That is until she saw a figure walking towards her.
“Remember me Daring?” Said the figure who ends up walking towards Daring Do to give her a better look at the figure. The Mare Standing before her was much like herself only She had a black mane and tail, and red glowing eyes.
“Poor little Daring ,hahaha, you miss poor little Twilight.” The red eyed mare said.
“ Just who the heck are you?” Daring snapped getting herself ready for what she felt like would be a fight.
“Hehe I'm the power you were given Daring Do I’m the sadness that's deep down in your heart “ she said making her hoof touch her Chest.
“Though honestly i don’t have a name yet. Your friends outside seem to call me Dark Instinct. So I guess you can call me that.” The red eyed mare spoke again
“So you're supposed to be the powerful Darkness I was granted from Shenron?” Daring asked
“Yea more or less. Anyway I hope you like it here because I now have complete control of your body.” The red eyed mare then starts to laugh evilly But before she could leave Daring to her fate the red eyed mare stumbled to the ground and placed her hoof over her belly as if she was in pain.
“Ngh damn it what's going on?” She spoke again and looked up at Daring only to see she had something glowing around her neck.
“This is Boss Twilight’s necklace but i have no idea why it’s glowing” as if on cue the Necklace fired a beam that shot towards the red eyed mare.
“Ngh damn it it’s draining me of my power and control over this body.” And just like that the red eyed mare ended up getting sucked into the necklace Instantly. Leaving Daring Do alone.
“Ok What the hay just happened?” Daring Said confused. She looked around to see if anything else new would show up but nothing did. Instead she heard an all too familiar voice.
“Heh It’s good to see you again. Daring Do” Said the mysterious voice.
“WAIT BOSS TWILIGHT!!!” Daring Do said in surprise. She found herself hugging the mare and crying tears.
“I thought you were gone forever. Wait, how are you here anyway aren't you supposed to be dead?” Daring questions. She had a feeling there was a catch to this. It had to be too good to be true right?
“ Sorry Daring But I”m still probably dead but that necklace I gave you I enchanted it to have a small piece of my soul in it so i can talk to you when and if you ever get shrouded in darkness. Especially darkness as great as Depression and losing someone dear to you.``
“Damn it “ Daring Do said in disappointment
“Heh well it's good to see you too look Daring i don’t have a lot of time here. I want you to never give up Even if I’m gone. I’ll always exist in here * she points a hoof towards Daring’s Chest,
“Remember when I first gave you that pendant. I made it so it will protect you at a time like this. I’m still looking out for you.” Said Boss Twilight who had a sad smile on her face.
“Thanks Twilight it means a lot to me that you still care for me even beyond the grave” Daring laughed a bit and smiled
“I just have one favor to ask of you Daring”
“Sure what is it Twilight?”
“When you wake up and go back to the real world, I want you to give this pendant I gave you to my daughter Starbright. But keep it for now. You’ll need it until you can master this new power of darkness you now possess. It’ll protect you from falling too deep into it.”
“Wait, how did you?”
“Like I said my time is short Daring Do the essence I left in the pendant is slowly fading just know this Daring. The memories and fun times we shared. All the fights “ Boss Twilight then started to smile as a stream of tears flowed through her cheeks
“They were the most precious to me. I keep trying to get stronger than you. And you kept on getting even stronger leaving me behind.” She wiped some of her tears off and sniffled
“But the one thing i wont ever forget after death is you are my best friend. I never wanted to get stronger to kill you again. I wanted to grow stronger and surpass my friend and impress my friends back at home. “ After saying that Twilight's body starts to glow yellow as she slowly starts to disappear starting with her hooves.
“Wait don’t go!!” Daring Shouted as she hugged Boss Twilight for one Final time.
“Sorry Daring Do but i must go. You take care of my daughter and Tell Rainbow Dash that I’ll always love her.”Twilight said Returning Daring Do’s hug. With that she disappeared and everything went white.
In Reality
Daring Do continued to stand still as if frozen in place for some time eventually she came to her senses and shook her head. Then pulling out the glowing object from under her shirt. The necklace with Twilight's cutie mark had stopped glowing. But Daring Do couldn’t help but smile and look up.
“ Thanks Twilight I’ll cherish this “ Daring said she then heard another voice trying to get her attention.
“You going to explain to us what just happened? “ Vegeta said in an annoyed tone
“Oh the pendant absorbed the dark energy and kept me In control of this new dark power I have.” She said taking a good long look at her new changes.
“ I have to admit it looks awesome. It’ll take me a while to fully master it though. Mind if I stay here until I do?”
“I’m Sure Bulma can set up living arrangements for your stay here in the meantime we can train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.” Vegeta said taking off into the air with Daring Do following behind.
Present day.
“So I Spent Three entire 3 months training to get Dark Instinct under control and I have mastered it to some extent. I’ve been able to use the form and release the form quite easily. So here.” Daring Do shows Starbright the pendant she was told about in her story.
“I don’t need it anymore but this necklace is proof that she cares for all of us. “ Daring Put the necklace over Starbright who sniffled and cried on her chest. Daring smiled and did her best to comfort Starbright.
Chapter 5 A Smile for others
Daring Do stepped into Sugarcube Corner to grab something for Starbright. Starbright was right behind her a small smile cracked on her face as she saw all the goodies in the bakery. Daring smiled and looked at her.
“ Well Starbright? I’m going to buy you a treat here at Sugarcube Corner so go look around and pick something out while I have a chat with Pinkie alright?.” Daring spoke as she walked over to the counter.
Pinkie Pie was oddly absent but she was sure the store was open for business. The only way she knew how to get her attention was to ring the bell on the counter. Though the second she hit the bells ringer she heard a bang and saw confetti flying in front of her face. The usual pinkie greeting she thought.
“Pinkie was that really necessary? “ Daring said annoyed at the surprise greeting.
“Heh sorry about that ms Do it's just been awhile since your last visit so i figured i do something special “ Pinkie said coming down from the stairs.
“Besides I don't get much practice in heavy fire arms anymore. Especially since the wars are over and everything.” Pinkie said as she was reminiscing the fun times she had being in charge of the heavy weapons.
“I guess I can understand that. Guess the war gave you new hobbies. You tinker with your cannons to perfect them? “ Daring Do asked as she looked over at the hidden cannon that appeared and surprised her only moments ago.
“Oh yes it’s quite fun to tinker with rockets and other heavy guns. Sometimes i take apart my cannons for fun. It helps keep my mind off of things when I need the distraction.” She said smiling sadly as she grabs her cannons and puts them up.
“So i guess you miss her as much as the others, huh?” Daring asked knowing the reason why she would need to get her mind off of “certain things” as she said.
“ Who doesn't?” Pinkie said, forcing a smile on her face.
“ I mean she’s a hero here. Who wouldn’t miss such a great mare.” Pinkie said as the bell rang, telling her that another customer came in the door. As the two looked to see who just came in they saw fluttershy stepping inside the bakery.
“Hi fluttershy how are the wounded soldiers?” Pinkie asked
“Oh they’re fine Pinkie it's just exhausting work to tend to them even though the wars over. I should be done working in a few months. Most of the wounded soldiers have gotten better and sent home. Oh hello ms Do I didn't know you would be here.” Fluttershy said
“Heh yeah i figured i’d try my best to help cheer Starbright up by giving her any treats she wants. “ Daring Said as she turned her head to see Starbright looking around at the sweet and delicious treats on display. Daring couldn’t help but giggle as it seems like she was having a tough time deciding on what to get.
“ Anyways pinkie I'd like one apple cake please. I could use something sweet after the long day I had at work.” Fluttershy said as she wiped some sweat off her brow
“Coming right up ms shy.” Pinkie said going down into the displays to grab a slice of fluttershy’s order.
“Here you are ms shy” she said as she presented Fluttershy with her plate of cake.
“So how do you deal with it pinkie? You seem quite happy despite the dark clouds floating over everyone's heads.” Daring asked Pinkie.
“Well i’m not only in charge of heavy weapons but i’ve also been in charge of increasing moral support within the ranks.I always put a smile for anyone especially for Starbright who needs a smile more than ever.” Pinkie said as she looked at Starbright with a sigh.
“Heh that's quite nice of you Pinkie. Not a lot of ponies can force a smile like that. Especially for others. I just hope that it's enough to make her happy.” Daring said.
“Sometimes forcing a big smile is what makes all the difference” Fluttershy said as she started to nom on her cake.
“Ms. Can I get a zap apple cake?” Starbright said walking over to Daring Do. Daring smiled and gave a nod while handing pinkie pie the required bits for one of her zap apple cakes.
“One zap apple cake coming right up” Pinkie said as she went to grab an entire cake of zap apple and gave it to Daring
“ uh Pinkie i think that's more than what I paid for.” Daring questioned but pinkie smiled
“Consider it on the house Daring Do and save some for your daughter too i’m sure she would love some.” Pinkie stated as Starbrigt’s eyes began to Twinkle at the sight of having an entire cake for her and her family and friends.
“So what made you pick the zap apple Starbright?” Daring asked
“Well ……. I always wanted to try one but my mom was too busy to actually go to get one from the bakery. I only wish she would be here to have a bite herself.” Starbright said frowning
“Well at least you’ll get a bite this time “ Daring said giving Starbright a smile she needed. She returned the smile and hugged Daring Do.
“Daring can I ask you a favor? “ Starbright said looking up at Daring Do
``Sure what is it?”
“I want to save a slice for my Twilight in the fridge” This statement brought down the mood and put frowns on everypony even Pinkie’s smile turned into a frown for a split second.
“Sweetie you know she won't be able to eat it right? “ Daring said, looking at Starbright in concern.
“No i believe Twilight will most definitely come back one day and when she does I want her to have a slice.” Starbright said.
“Alright sweetie but honestly i think its a waste of a slice. I’ll be sure to put one up for her.
“Thank you Ms do” Starbright said with a small smile on her face.with that Daring Do and Starbright left the bakery.
“Heh quite the handful isn’t she?” Fluttershy said, smiling as they both left.
“Yup. Now if you’ll excuse me i gotta go finish tinkering with the RPG i have upstairs. “ Pinkie said, leaving to head back upstairs again.
“They’re quite strong aren't they Twilight “ Fluttershy spoke to herself as she let small streams of tears flow through her cheeks.
“This is it “ Daring Do thought to herself. As she found herself standing before what looked like Applejack before her. They both were in the air levitating and in their strongest states. Daring Do in her Angel state and Applejack in hers dark angel state. The only difference you could tell that they were in this state was their mane and tail. It gave off the colors of the rainbow Daring’s colors were much brighter than Applejack’s though.
“I only have one shot at this, I can't afford to miss this “ Daring Do continued to think to herself as she held the ultimate weapon she had worked hard to restore after she shattered it.
Daring took her hooves to both ends of the sword and compressed the sword into ancient magical energy, one that she would fire at her opposing enemy Applejack.
“Do you really think you can hit me with that slow attack Daring Do? “ Applejack said laughing. All of a sudden she felt something grab her from behind.
Daring Do smirked at this as the pony that grabbed her from behind was none other than Boss Twilight. Who smirked and gave Daring a reassuring nod.
“Daring Do was reluctant about doing this now. If she fired now she’d lose her new friend and rival.
“DARING DO IT NOW !! '' Boss Twilight shouted at Daring Do who snapped out of her hesitation and fired her beam at Applejack. The beam Pierced through both Applejack and Twilight. They both fall to the ground which was pitch black in the realm of darkness.
“TWILIGHT ! *Daring Do shouted as she ran over to her body luckily she managed to catch Twilight before she hit the ground too hard. Twilight Smiled at Daring and gave her a weak groan as she tried to move.
“NO! Don’t Twilight you need to save your strength i'll heal you soon.”Daring Said as she shook her head.
“I’ll be fine Daring do you don’t have to heal me” she said coughing up blood.
“This is how I wanted things to end. At least this way I can finally be with my friends again. Daring Do i’m sorry for all the things I put you through. Being enemies at first and now good friends I hope.I did All this for the ultimate weapon so i can bring my friends back i feel that my only atonement for all the bad things I've done is to die saving all worlds and timelines.” Daring smiled as twilight gave her last breath and died on the spot.
“Twilight you’ve worked so hard to get what you wanted and today i think you’ve earned it “ Daring Said after noticing in the reflection of her sword that her angel state was slowly fading.
“Ancient magic doesn’t have much longer before it disappears along with the gods we slayed today.I’m going to give you and your friends the last of its power” She said turning the sword into a pure light which shot into the sky and split into six beams of light that scattered. Only one of them went back down and hit the dead body of Boss Twilight. Her injury slowly began to heal as the light that hit her started to resurrect her.
“WHY DID YOU RESURRECT ME DARING DO?!” Boss Twilight Said in a more demonic tone this time. As soon as Daring Do felt like she would pass out a bright light appeared and Boss Twilight vanished in thin air.
“Huh what the?” Daring Said looking around for the source of said light. Few minutes later Daring Do was greeted by a dark blue alicorn with a mane bright blue as the midnight sky. Daring could’ve sworn that there were actual stars in her mane but thought that might’ve been an effect the mare wanted.
“Princess Luna? Is that you? “ The mare in question nodded her head
“Yes we couldn’t help but notice that you were having a nightmare. So we came to your aid.”
“Wait so this is all a dream? Why would I be dreaming of the most epic battle I've ever had?”
“From what we can tell from what we saw. It seems like you dream about that very moment because you feel guilty about what you did. You resurrected Twilight despite her finally being at peace with her friends. You feel like perhaps you shouldn’t have resurrected her? Rest Assured Daring Do that Celestia and I were grateful for her resurrection. If she wasn’t resurrected i doubt we could’ve put an end to the zebra army and their rebellion forces.There is good in the choices you made. We feel you shouldn’t need to feel so guilty about your choices. “
“yeah I guess you're right but….. Rainbow hates me because I resurrected them. I guess Rainbow Dash got to me a little bit.” Luna raised a brow and spoke.
“You Call this a little bit?” the princess giggled
“OK ok A lot .I just can’t help but wonder if maybe they would’ve had a perfect life without the resurrection. You know up in the stars.”
“Yes we do feel that would’ve been a better ending to end on for them. But Equestria needs them now more than ever. You made the right call Daring Do. “
“Thanks Princess.” Daring smiled and rubbed the back of her head
“We must ask you of one more thing Daring Do”
“What's that?”
“Inform ms Rarity about the nightmares that have been happening lately have increased in number and from the looks of things you almost fell amongst the pile of victims yourself Daring Do luckily i was here “
“Wait, you're saying that my nightmare just now is connected to the others you’ve had to deal with?” Daring asked in shock
“Yes we think whoever's doing this has the same powers as i do in the dream realm. “
“You mean the power to put somepony in an endless nightmare one that nopony can wake up from?”
“Yes that would be the one. We have a spell to counter the nightmare dream state. We will be sending Rarity the scroll with the spell soon. We feel that you will surely need it “
“Thanks, I'm sure that will come in handy. Though now that I think about it ...”
“ Something wrong Ms. Do?”
“Yea well thing is …. I don’t remember falling asleep. Last thing I recall was heading to AJ’s and passing out.”
“Oh dear it seems our enemy is capable of putting anypony to sleep at will then. “
“I guess it's at least better than being consumed by Darkness” after Daring Do said that something clicked in Luna’s mind.
“We must go Daring Do. We have an idea who our enemy really is.”
“Who?”
“We will tell you once we can confirm for certain who we are dealing with. In the meantime, pass the information along to Rarity”
“Yea another thing why Rarity?” Daring Asked confused why she was so important.
“After Boss Twilight passed away we decided to elect Rarity as the new leader for Boss Twilights unit. She’s just as strong as Twilight used to be if not stronger.”
“Sounds like she could be fun “ Daring Smirked at the possible challenge
“I’ll make sure Rarity gets the message Luna i should go wake up now
“Do say hi to the Apple Family for me Ms Do” Luna said waving bye to her. Before she knew it everything went white as she slowly woke up on Applejacks bed with an ice pack over her head. Pain suddenly hit her like a boulder as she remembers falling down pretty hard when she was put to sleep.
Daring slowly got up and yawned . She cracked her neck and stretched her limbs as she went outside the room to go find Applejack.
Chapter 1 Visiting an old friend

This story is part of a series called My Little Tsubasa that I've been making into a D&D style RPG on Attorney Online. I won't be explaining all the adventures that happened up to this point of the story, just know that this is a POSSIBLE ending for the series. For those that don't know the past events that lead up to this point in the story I'll try to summarize and explain things as it pops up but I won't be giving spoilers. I may write the past events as other stories.
Chapter 1 Visiting an old friend
It was a beautiful day in Equestria. The sun was up at its highest point shining down light on a gloomy graveyard. In this graveyard were many graves of ponies who had fought in the war against the zebras but among them all was one unique grave. There was a shining star marking the grave as if it was a cross.
Surrounding it were many flowers and some gold like trinkets. A sword with a black blade also stood next to the grave. The sword had many signs of being used often. Scratches were all over the blade and the leather grip on the handle was somewhat torn.
Next to the grave stood one lone Alicorn with a colorful mane. It was Princess Celestia who had come to pay respect to her star pupil Twilight Sparkle who was known as Boss Twilight after the war against the zebras.
The battle against the zebras was finally over thanks to her efforts but… She was slowly dying. Every time she put effort into fighting as hard as she could her body couldn’t take it.
Eventually she died saving her friends from a natural disaster, one that required massive strength her body shouldn’t have been able to produce yet. With all her might she saved them, she died honorably. She became known as a war hero after all, she was the one who saved Equestria by single handedly taking on the zebras alone with immense power. The day she became known as Boss Twilight.
A familiar sound was heard in the graveyard, Celestia’s ears perked up as she was lost in thought. The sound of a portal opening out of nowhere. She also heard footsteps stepping towards her in the rain.
When she turned around to look, she saw a gold coated mare with gray and black striped mane. She didn’t look as happy as she was. Daring Do was standing before her to see her best friend’s grave and pay her respects, so Celestia thought.
Daring Do steps forward to the grave and sets down some beautiful flowers that Celestia had never seen before. Wanting to ask where she got them, Daring Do then speaks before she could.
“I got you these flowers Boss Twilight. When I saw those flowers in that wasteland of Equestria I thought they’d be a good gift for your grave.”
“Wasteland?” Celestia asked confused. Celestia had never heard of a wasteland in Equestria unless she was referring to the desert which was unlikely.
“Yeah it's from an alternate version of Equestria me and Boss Twilight visited before. Say princess, may I ask you something?”
“What is it Ms Do?” Celestia turned to face Daring Do.
“How did she die? Did somepony kill her?” Daring Do asked the last question with a slight hint of anger.
“No, nopony killed her. She died saving her friends with incredible strength her body couldn’t handle.” Celestia spoke as her ears drooped recalling how her pupil died.
“That's a side effect of using super magic. It increases your strength permanently, but... I guess if you’re not like me you would die from using it so much.” Daring Do turned to look at the princess as if knowing what she’ll ask next. “After she and I defeated the God of Darkness and ancient magic died along with it, me and Rainbow Dash were stuck in Angel State. We may not look like it but we have immortality.” She looks back at Twilight's grave with a sad smile. “I knew this day would come. The day I would outlive her.”
“You’re immortal!” Celestia looked at Daring Do in complete shock. She knew Alicorns were immortal but never heard of a Pegasus becoming immortal.
“It's not like I wanted to become immortal it was forced upon me. A complete accident.” She looks down at Twilight’s grave. “Unlike me and Rainbow Dash, Twilight wasn’t stuck in Angel State like I was. In fact she never achieved Angel State like I did.”
“Angel State?” Celestia questioned. She had to admit this did intrigue her and if anypony knew the guilt and pain that comes with immortality she’d know best.
“It's also known as super magic level 10, a much harder to reach state for any normal pony but we’ve used it long enough that it was quite easy to obtain. The Gods called it Angel State because of how powerful and close to god level we can get.” Daring Do turned to face Celestia.
“I should probably explain to you all about ancient magic and its origins too while I'm at it. It’s got quite a history in my world. You got the time?” Daring Do asked the Princess knowing how busy the Princess can get and figured she’d ask for permission before explaining.
“I guess I have the time. I came here to visit Boss Twilight after all.” Celestia took a seat down a nearby bench that wasn’t too far from Twilight’s grave. Daring Do followed and took a seat next to the Princess.
“It all started when I discovered ancient magic for the first time. I found it in a lost temple that no pony had discovered yet. I guess it was pure luck that I managed to find it or maybe it was destiny. In the temple was a book filled with the entire language of ancient magic, a type of magic anypony could use if they knew how to speak the language. It consumes stamina to cast any kind of spell, even if you wanted to bring somepony back from the dead.”
“Wait, what? It has the power to revive ponies? Celestia looked at Daring Do in shock yet again.
“Yeah it used to, but that sole power was the reason why I hid it from my Equestria. Anypony who casts that spell sacrifices themselves to bring someone back. I didn’t want that power falling into the wrong hands so I learned the language in order to protect it from everypony.”
“Maybe you can-” Celestia started to say but was cut off by an angry Daring Do.
“DON’T SUGGEST IT….. I know what you’re going to ask but it's impossible. Ancient magic died along with its Gods. Even if I wanted to... No.. AS MUCH as I want to I can’t bring Twilight back from the dead like I did for her friends.” Celestia noticed that Daring Do was shaking as she tried to keep her emotions in. Seeing this Celestia gave Daring Do a hug.
“I’m sorry Ms. Do, it must be quite hard for you to go through this sadness inside you forever. You need to open up to somepony.” Celestia said with a concerned tone to Daring Do.
“It’s alright Celestia I don’t want to bother you or anypony with my feelings.” Daring Do said putting on a fake smile.
“It’s not healthy Daring, you need to let it out eventually but I won't pry.” She stands up from the bench and looks at Daring Do “So tell me, what does super magic even do?”
“Well it’s just a form of ancient magic that increases the user’s strength more than normal.
“There's a dark variation of super magic?”
“Yeah and it's not a very good type of variation. If Twilight overused it she would’ve died but she didn’t.”
After Daring Do spoke there was nothing but silence for a couple of minutes, as if breaking the awkward silence Celestia looked toward Daring Do. She couldn’t stand seeing anypony like this, so she came up with a solution. One that might help her.
“Well since you're here to visit our world why don’t you go see Twilight's friends in Ponyville.” Celestia gave Daring Do a reassuring smile.
“I guess it can’t hurt to see how they’ve been.” With that said Daring Do flies on over to Ponyville leaving Celestia behind at the graveyard.
Celestia watches as she sees her fly quite fast for a pegasus. Celestia alone in the graveyard decided to put red roses down next to Daring Do’s flowers, smiling as she looks at the flowers.
“You have great friends Boss Twilight.” Celestia said looking at the grave one last time. She then heard wings flapping and heading towards her. When she turned to see who it was, it was her sister.
Princess Luna still had her long giant dark blue mane streaming across her head like a flag in the wind. Her dark blue coat was a bit messy as if she’d forgotten to groom this morning.
“Come to pay your respects dear sister?” She spoke. Celestia nodded and looked at the grave.
“Just visiting an old friend. And how are things going in the dream world?” Celestia turns around to face her sister, Luna.
“Not all that good. These nightmares ponies keep getting are starting to increase by the day.” Luna said, taking a seat on the bench. Celestia followed and sat next to her sister as well.
“But we won the war, didn't we? Why are the ponies of Equestria so afraid?” Celestia asked.
“I don’t know sister but it’s not getting any better, it’s getting worse and worse each day. I’ll be honest, I don’t know if I can handle this job if this keeps up. I don’t know what's causing them. Each pony has a different nightmare, it’s also quite easy to get them out of it.” Celestia looked at her sister.
“You don’t think these nightmares are natural do you?” Celestia looked up at the sky as if pondering the situation.
“No I don't think it is, I’ll have to investigate this matter further. To be honest I thought it was natural at first until it became more frequent. It’s starting to become quite tiresome for the princess of the night.” Luna said as she lowered her head down.
“Don’t worry about it too much Luna, I’m sure it’ll get resolved in no time. In the meantime, how about we grab ourselves a bite to eat.” Luna’s ears perked up at the mention of food as well as her head raising back up.
“Yes that would be splendid. Honestly, I was so tired I kind of skipped breakfast this morning.”
Celestia couldn’t help but giggle. With that they both head off leaving the graveyard behind.
