Spec Ops: End of the Line
Dubai, a sand covered pit of despair cut off from the outside world by a massive sandstorm, filled with hopeless refugees and a cut off battalion of the US Army - The Dammed 33rd. Trapped for months the battalion has reached its breaking point, ripped in half by a massive mutiny as the command staff rebelled and attempted to flee the city.
It was brutally put down by the man in charge, John Konrad. Not that it mattered in the end, Dubai is nothing more than a ghost of what it once was now that Walker has finished his mission. Streets and camps once filled with clambering refugees and down on their luck, yet hopeful soldiers are now filled with corpses, slowly covered and forgotten by their killer.
Equestria, a land of peace and harmony, one where war and death on mass scale are foreign concepts. One where the only encounter with humans was a kind elderly man named John who stayed for a good thirty-five years before passing quietly in his sleep at the age of eighty two.
No one and no pony would ever guess that the two would someone be connected, but life has a way of throwing curve balls where you least expect them.
(Warning, this story is not for the feint of heart. If you have an aversion to violence, gore, psychological issues or anything in those lines you most likely don't want to read this story. As it's main character is from Spec Ops: The Line it will not be a happy go lucky 'head to Ponyville and live out my life carefree story'. It will be dark, and there will be losses.)
You have been warned.
